Taking what belong to you 2

 “And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.” Luke 24:49

You need power to take what belongs to you. Why? The first reason is that you must prevail to take what belongs to you, and it takes power to prevail. The second reason is that you must deal with the strongman who might be holding what belongs to you, this also takes power. The third reason is that you must have dominion to terminate servitude. This also needs power. The good news is that the power you need is accessible through the Holy Spirit.

“For Judah prevailed above his brethren, and of him came the chief ruler; but the birthright was Joseph's:” 1 Chronicles 5:2

“Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.” Matthew 12:29

“And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck.” Genesis 27:40

If you are powerless, the enemy will do whatever he likes with your inheritance despite the fact that you are a Christian. Jesus did not leave us powerless. He told us that we need the power from on high to walk in the promise. You need the anointing of the Holy Ghost to walk in power. Ask God to anoint you with the Holy Ghost and power.

Taking what belong to you 1

 “The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.” Deuteronomy 29:29

Although it is yours, you cannot take possession of it until it is revealed to you. Revelation is your access key to your inheritance. As a saint, if you don’t have the spirit of wisdom and revelation, you may suffer like a mere man. You must go beyond what only the flesh and blood can reveal (intellectual) and press into what only God can reveal (Divine wisdom).

“And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Mathew 16:17-18. 

“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,” Ephesians 1:17-18

The saints can have dominion on earth by revelation; our access to the kingdom treasure on earth is by revelation. But the truth is that revelation is not found on the surface, it is sought out as a man would dig gold or precious stone from the earth. You must spend time with God and ask Him for the spirit of wisdom and revelation. You are more than what you are now and revelation is the key that will take you to where you should be.

You can still go!

 “But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard. He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went.” Matthew 21:29-30

You can still obey God and do what He asked you to do even though you have said no to Him before. You are useful to God just as you are. You don’t have to be useful to yourself and your family alone. Saying yes to God has both temporal and eternal reward. Jesus said there are many mansions in His Father’s house. In other words, there are rooms for everyone to serve and obey God, no matter who you are.

“Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.” Isaiah 6:8

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15

The local congregation where you belong, gives you the avenue to obey God and to serve Him.  Ask yourself what your contribution is, and you would be able to determine whether you have said yes to the Lord or not. In any case, you can still say yes to Him and take your responsibility in the house of God. You should not fold your arms in your Father’s house.

Connect to the Lord’s help

 “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.  My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:1

The help of the Lord is always available, if you will look up unto Him. You cannot fail, no matter how intimidating your dreams are, if you receive help from the Lord. The help of the Lord comes with His strength. The help of the Lord comes with packages from heaven and earth (spiritual and physical). Every successful man has received help.

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:10

“But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.” James 4:6

His grace comes with His help. I can assure you that this grace is sufficient for you. The grace replaces your weakness with His strength. You position yourself for the Lord’s help if you can humble yourself and ask for His help. Prioritize your fellowship with Him. Be willing to walk in His light and obey Him. Tell Him that you cannot do without Him.

Give yourself to instruction

 “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.” Proverbs 1:7

You must be instructed to do things right and to do the right things,. The bible says that only fools despise wisdom and instruction. If you are passionate about excelling, you must seek instructions. When you harden your heart to instruction, you prolong your affliction. You can only change your situation by giving heed to instructions.

“For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.” Matthew 13:15

“Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.” Matthew 13:52

I believe anyone who is willing to grow must take the position of a child who is ready to be instructed. There are people who know better what you are struggling to do, find them and listen to them. You must be instructed in every area of your life: spiritual, financial, marriage, health, relationships, business, and career. As a Christian, your first instructor is the Holy Ghost, listen to Him.

May your heart not be hardened to instructions in Jesus name.

Pray your helpers in

 “And I said unto the king, If it please the king, and if thy servant have found favour in thy sight, that thou wouldest send me unto Judah, unto the city of my fathers' sepulchres, that I may build it.” Nehemiah 2:5

You will surely need destiny helpers to fulfill your dreams and accomplish your God-given visions. It will profit you to be surrounded by such men and women who God has assigned to help you. Some of these people will counsel you, encourage you, train you, finance you or even take one or two responsibilities and assignments. You must ask God to bring such people into your life. You must also position yourself to attract such people. This is because the vision can perish if there are no right people.

“And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four. And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.” Mark 2:3-4

“Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.  For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.” Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

May you be surrounded by people who will make your dream happen. May you not be surrounded by Sanballats and Tobiahs, the people that the devil has positioned to scatter your dreams. May you not be alone. May you have people who are willing to labor with you for your God-given vision. If your dream is right, you cannot fulfill it alone. Be a destiny helper to somebody too, so that God can reward you with many destiny helpers.

Your helpers shall be many in Jesus name.

Improve yourself

 “That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;.” Ephesians 4:22-23

Personal development and self-improvement are keys to your growth and success. If you want to do new things you have to know new things. Purposeful learning, reading, association will help you to improve yourself. More importantly, you need to grow in grace through the knowledge of God. Your level of faith needs to be increased too. The truth is that if your dreams and visions are challenging enough, you will surely need personal improvement to achieve them.

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:2

“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.” Proverbs 23:7

If you engage in personal improvement, your mindset will change. Your thinking will be stimulated. Your confidence will be boosted. You will be better positioned to receive what God has for you. Identify the learning you need and get into it quickly.

You shall have a breakthrough quickly this year in Jesus name.

Fight for your dreams!!

 “Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the realm of the dead, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom.” Ecclesiastes 9:10

A dream, a vision, or an idea is what you need to make your life count. If you have one, I congratulate you. The poorest people on earth are the people without dreams. But you need also to fight for your dreams. The most frustrated people on earth are people with unfulfilled dreams. Don’t leave your dreams and visions to chance. Surely there would be obstacles to surmount, oppositions to subdue, barriers to break, but don’t submit your dreams any of those. Never give up, your dream is your chance to make a mark on earth.

“Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.” 1 Timothy 6:12

“Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:  But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.” Acts 26:19-20

The only thing actually that worth fighting for is your dream, your vision. Your dream is your faith, fight for it. Our text says you should do it with all your might and goes on to explain what this means. You should work for it, plan for it, acquire knowledge for it and apply wisdom to it so that you can achieve it.

You shall win with your dream in Jesus name.

I shall rise again!!

 “Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me.” Micah 7:8

Rising again means getting up from low levels; it means experiencing a better position than you have ever been; it means increase and promotion. This is your portion in Jesus name. Note that the light of God is key to experiencing rising. The appearance of God's light is your empowerment to rise again. The entrance of God’s word brings the light you need to rise.

“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.” Isaiah 60:1

“The entrance of thy words giveth light;…...” Psalm 119:130

Your word from the Lord is your light for rising. Joseph was kept in prison until his light came. God’s word for him brought his light and the prison could not keep him anymore (Psalms 105:19). The word He sent to Jacob was enough to bring light to Israel (Isaiah 9:8). Now, this is the word of the Lord to you, “In the name of Jesus, rise again.” Declare, I am rising again as many times as possible.

Serve God

 “And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.” Acts 9:6

How long shall you be a visitor in your Father’s house? How long shall you be on the sideline of the ministry? It is high time you found what God wants you to do in His vineyard and put your hands on the sickle. If you are truly a believer, you are a Minister of our God. Many roles are available (Romans 12:3-8). Take up your role and receive the benefits before it is too late. Your decision to serve God will position you for supernatural and divine experiences this year.

“Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them.” Ecclesiastes 12:1

“And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.” Exodus 23:25-26

Many of the things that you have been believing God for can come into manifestation if you put yourself in His service. Ask Him to show you what He wants you to do and don’t be disobedient to the heavenly vision. Service is your security against sickness, abortion, and barrenness. Service guarantees longevity and blessings.

Prioritize fellowship with God

 “Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:” Isaiah 55:6

The greatest destiny business meeting is your fellowship with God. This is where you receive both direction and impartation for destiny fulfillment. Consider, how you would attend to an important business meeting. Would you miss the meeting? Would you be late for the meeting? Would you be answering the phone when your prospective business partner is talking? I am sure your answer to these questions is no.

If you consider God as your greatest companion in destiny, you would prioritize your fellowship with Him.

“And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.” Exodus 33:14

“I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.” John 5:30

Have daily quiet time with God where you study the scriptures, pray and enjoy personal fellowship with God. No Christian can make it without this. Attend church with an intention to fellowship with God and to hear His voice. The church is not really a social and religious gathering, though it may provide both. The church is primarily a setup for divine encounter for destiny fulfillment.

Deal with disobedience 2

 “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” 1 Corinthians 2:14

The evidence of spirituality is obedience to God. Obedience is the key to the supernatural experience. It is your way of granting God the permission to intervene in your life and situation. It is natural to disobey God because most times what He is saying is foolishness to a natural mind. However, if you are truly spiritual, you will receive, believe and obey Him, even if it looks unreasonable.

“His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.” John 2:5

“And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean?” 2 Kings 5:13

Beloved, hearing God about a matter or an issue is the best thing that can happen to you. When you do, please obey. Even if it is contrary to your thinking. When they needed wine at the Marriage in Cana of Galilee, He told them to fetch water. Naaman was angry because God did not choose the supposedly beautiful rivers in Damascus for his healing. He did not know that the power was in obedience and not in the river.

May you hear God and obey Him in Jesus name.

Deal with disobedience 1

 “And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.” 2 Corinthians 10:6

You surely want all that God has for you. Also, I am sure you do not want the enemy to prevail against you. One thing you must deal with is disobedience. Your enemy is walking in disobedience to God, the only way for you to beat him is for you to walk in obedience to God. You can neutralize all the challenges in your life simply by obeying God.

 “If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.” Isaiah 1:19-20

“And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. ...” Luke 12:47-48

Your greatest enemy is not satan. Your greatest enemy is not any man.  Your greatest enemy is ignorance and disobedience. You have to know what God is saying to you and obey Him. You cannot claim ignorance as your reason for disobedience. Disobedience opens doors for the enemy. Obedience opens the door for all of God in your life. Please make sure you know the mind of God for your life and walk in it.

Passionate expectation

 “And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.” Acts 3:5

 When you become passionate about your expectation, you cannot be denied. Be passionate about your goals. Be passionate about what you desire to change in your life. More importantly, be passionate about your expectation for God’s manifestation in your life. The passion for God will drive you to access His secret place. Whatever your life needs are in His secret place.

“As I was in the days of my youth, when the secret of God was upon my tabernacle;” Job 29:4

“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalms 91:1

As important as material things are, it is wrong to direct your passionate expectations towards material things, rather than God.  In Act 3, the lames man’s passionate expectation was for silver and gold, something that could not solve all his problems. Fortunately, he was expecting to receive from the people who carried God. His expectation was not disappointed, he got more than what silver and gold could deliver. Beloved, as the New Year is advancing please direct your passionate expectation towards God.

There is always a way!

 “It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.” Proverbs 25:2

There is always a way to reach your goal and to solve your problems. The fact that you cannot immediately see the way out does not mean that it is not there. It only means that you need to search it out. Never say it cannot be done. Never say it is impossible. Your honor is in searching out what is concealed.

“And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature. And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way.” Luke 19:3-4

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,” Ephesians 3:20

The way you are looking for is either in your asking or in your thinking. Just be assured there is a way. You can ask God. Someone has been placed by God within your reach who has an answer. A single light in your mind may empower you to see the way.  Zacchaeus thought of the way to see Jesus and found one. Joseph was struggling in the field until someone showed him the way (Genesis 37:15).

 May you find the way to handle the situation in Jesus name.

Always declare your expectations

 “Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the Lord, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you:” Numbers 14:28

Whether you feel like it or not, whether you believe it or not, always declare your expectations only. Confess what you desire. Declare abundance in the midst of scarcity. Declare success even when confronted by failure. Declare healing when you are feeling sick. Never condemn yourself with your declaration. If you condemn yourself, no one will justify you.

“For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.” Matthew 12:37

“(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.” Romans 4:17

Your miracle begins with your declaration. The change you desire begins with your declaration. Declare it until you believe it. Say it until you see it. Declare what God has spoken about you even if it seems impossible to experience it. It can never be impossible if you can declare it repeatedly.

The change you desire is now in Jesus name.

At your wit's end?

 “They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wit's end. Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.” Psalm 107:27-28

Have you done all you could do and the situation persists? Are you at your wit end? There is one more thing you must do, turn to the Lord and cry to Him in prayer. He will surely bring you out of your distresses. He will anoint you, give you wisdom and favor, instruct you and deal with the source of the trouble. He will take away the veil and help you.

“And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.” Luke 5:5-6

“Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” 2 Corinthians 3:16

I don’t know how much you have tried, but I know the strategy that cannot fail. Turn to the Lord and stay there until you are helped (Job 14:14). He has promised to help and deliver anyone that called upon Him (Psalm 50:15). Focus on Him and do not seek an alternative (Jeremiah 29:13, 2 King 1:3). Do this early before the year advanced so that you can begin to enjoy the benefit.

Stay excited and motivated

 “Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.  Do everything in love.” 1 Corinthians 16:13-14

It is very important for you to stay excited and motivated in your present situation in order for you to experience a change and enter your glorious future. Don’t let any negative situation get into you. No matter be the case, keep your joy within. This is where your strength is preserved and released for your breakthrough. You will do this because of your consciousness of God’s presence and your trust in His ability to help you.

“Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” Nehemiah 8:10 (NIV)

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:10

Do not let anything weigh you down; declare that this year is going to be the best year you have ever seen because of God’s factor in your life. Declare God’s promises until your excitement is restored. Appreciate God because you believe, He is at work in your life. Your health shall be restored, your finances shall be great again, and good relationships shall be restored in Jesus name.

You shall be great again in Jesus name.

Do things differently

 “And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature. And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way.” Luke 19:3-4

You have to decide to do things differently this year in order to stand out from the crowd and achieve your goals. Stop talking about your limitations, but start strategizing to beat them. Stop talking about impossibilities, but start talking possibilities through the wisdom and the power of God. Get ready to walk on water just because God says so. Get ready to climb the height you have never climbed before because you believe in God.

“And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.” Psalm 23:1-2

“So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him; but there was no sword in the hand of David.” 1 Samuel 17:50

Peter walked on water so can you! Zacchaeus saw Jesus, despite the crowd and the fact that he was of small stature. You too can get things done despite your limitations and challenges. David killed Goliath despite the fact that he was not as experienced as him, nor did he carry a superior weapon. Ask God to give you the wisdom and power to do new and better things this year.

Ask God to lead you

 “Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.” Isaiah 48:17

If God leads you, you cannot miss the way. You always need a guide when you are in unfamiliar terrain. Although the year 2022 is new to you, God has been there even before the year arrives, so let Him lead you. Let the Lord shepherd you. He knows both the route for safety and prosperity. He knows the route where light dwells. If He leads you, you shall not want and darkness cannot overcome you.

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.” Psalm 23:1-2

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6

David was led by God, He never fought two battles with the same strategy nor did He lose any battle. Your understanding can fail you but God's leading cannot fail you. All you need to do is to acknowledge Him and ask Him to lead you all the way in the New Year. When He leads, please obey and follow. He is the most trusted guide at this time of uncertainty.

Run with a vision

 “And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.” Habakkuk 2:2

The year 2022 has started and today is the twelfth day. The question is what vision are you running with? Is the vision clear and written? You can make a difference this year no matter how old you are if you have a clear vision for the year. Your vision will determine what you will focus your strength on, your prayer points, the kind of company you will keep, and the kind of book you will read.

“For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?” 1 Corinthians 14:8

“And a certain man found him, and, behold, he was wandering in the field: and the man asked him, saying, What seekest thou?” Genesis 37:15

If you already have a vision, get also the strategy to accomplish the vision and run with the vision. If you don’t have a vision yet, go to God and ask Him what He wants you to do with your life this year. Your vision will distinguish you and help you to be productive. Your vision will help you to attract the right people into your life.

Desire the anointing

“Let thy garments be always white; and let thy head lack no ointment.” Ecclesiastes 9:8

The anointing of the Holy Spirit is what you need to break the yoke in your life. The anointing is the yoke breaking, burden removing power of God in your life. The anointing is divine empowerment to do what God has assigned you to do. The anointing is what you need to get results that are beyond ordinary. The anointing is what forbids the wicked from touching you. The anointing is your empowerment to destroy the work of darkness. Please in all your getting, get anointed.

“He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes; Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.” Psalm 105:14-15

“The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.” Psalm 119:130

This year, please don’t run around with a dry head, stay in God’s presence until you are anointed. The anointing is the seal of God upon your life and your destiny. The anointing is your winning edge in any situation in your life. You must desire the anointing above anything else, if you want to get anointed. You must have humility of heart, leave sin alone and become hungry for the anointing in order to get anointed.

May you be anointed by the Holy Spirit in Jesus name.

Desire the word

 “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” John 6:63

The word carries the spirit and the life. If you receive your word, you can never remain the same. What would really make a year new and better is the word of God you have received for the year. The word gives you the Spirit of faith to walk in victory and to live successfully. The word brings the change you need, the healing you need, and gives light to your path. The word renews your mind to renew your life.

“He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.” Psalm 107:20

“The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.” Psalm 119:130

The word of God you have received and believed gives you access to a dimension of God. If you have identified a need in your life, you only need a word to take care of the need. You cannot have a word from Him and still live in confusion. Every challenging situation is demanding for a word. Ask God for a word in prayers, meditate on the scriptures, and expect a word from Him. One word from God will change your life forever.

Behind the scene

 “But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.” Daniel 10:13

Your prayers activate spiritual activities to influence physical results. The book of Daniel revealed to us the activities behind the scene when a believer starts praying. Angelic warfare is kindled to contest for the request of the believer. If the believer is determined, focused, and does not give up, the Angels on his side will win and he will have his answers.

“And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.” Exodus 17:11

“Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.  And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison. And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.” Acts 12:5-7

In this year of our supernatural manifestations, you must be prepared to use prayer effectively and profitably. Have a clear understanding of the issue you want to solve and the result you desire. Don’t be distracted by anything when you start praying. Leave sin alone. Make use of the help of the Holy Spirit. Don’t allow the Angel sent to you to be trapped on the way so be fervent and persistent in prayer.

I decree that your prayer shall produce results in Jesus name.

Be hopeful

 “Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.” Romans 4:18

Be hopeful, even if your situation looks hopeless. You can never be hopeless if you believe in God. One common thing with the people who walked with God is that against hope, they believed in hope. Look at Abraham for example and Paul also in Act 27. If you are joined to the living, you must be hopeful. The voice of His promises must be stronger than the voice of your current situation. I believe strongly that the present hopeless situation shall give up for a glorious manifestation if you are hopeful.

“For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion.” Ecclesiastes 9:4

“For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.” Job 14:7

The greatest damage you can do to yourself is to be hopeless when you are still alive. Stories of people whose stories were changed by the power of God abound around us. Be hopeful, your living dog is far better than a dead lion. Pray the more, giving thanks to God in the present situation, and asking for His mercy and help. It is your turn to experience a change of story.

I decree that this year shall be the best year you have ever seen in Jesus name.

Desire divine encounter

 “I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee.;” Daniel 5:11

When you encounter God something will leave you while something will be added to you for destiny fulfillment. The place of encounter is where you replace your weakness with divine strength. Until you have a personal encounter with God, you don’t really know Him. Until you really know God, struggles continue. Divine encounter is what brings you into an experiential reality of His promises. No matter how religious you are, you stay in the outer court of divine destiny until you have a personal encounter with Him.

“And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.” Daniel 11:32

“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20

Divine encounter is what you need to terminate stagnation, obscurity, and satanic imprisonment and harassment. Divine encounter is what you need to overcome the flesh and its fruits. Divine encounter is the divine signature upon your life and destiny. This is what you need for a total and complete change of story.

Beloved, earnestly and passionately desire divine encounter if you want to fulfill your destiny.

Spirit-empowered 6

 “There is a man in thy kingdom, in whom is the spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of thy father light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, was found in him; whom the king Nebuchadnezzar thy father, the king, I say, thy father, made master of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers;” Daniel 5:11

There are two major needs for destiny fulfillment and these are wisdom and power. All failures in life can be attributed to either lack of wisdom or lack of power. Any challenge you are currently facing is actually questioning your level of wisdom and power. When you are empowered by the Holy Spirit, you have access to the wisdom and the power of God. Consequently, you will have answers to both physical and spiritual challenges in life.

“Forasmuch as an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and shewing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar: now let Daniel be called, and he will shew the interpretation.” Daniel 5:12

“And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.” Mark 4:39

Daniel could provide answers to any hard issues because he was empowered by the Holy Spirit. He had power over lions, so the flesh-eaters could not feed on him even when they were extremely hungry. Jesus spoke to the storm and it obeyed Him and fed many with two loaves and five fishes. This was because He was empowered by the Holy Spirit. Your greatest need right now is the power of the Holy Spirit. Be thirsty and hungry for Him, then the goodness of God shall come unto you (Psalm 107:9)

 “And the Spirit of the Lord will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man.  And let it be, when these signs are come unto thee, that thou do as occasion serve thee; for God is with thee.” Numbers 14:24

When you desire a change, you desire a new Spirit. Our results, behaviors, and even talents are reflections of the Spirit on us. When the Spirit of God came upon Saul, he was changed into another man. He prophesied, something he could not do before. He began to get things done because the Spirit of God on him is an indication of the presence of God with him. You too can become a new man by receiving the Holy Spirit.

 “And I will come down and talk with thee there: and I will take of the spirit which is upon thee, and will put it upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with thee, that thou bear it not thyself alone.” Number 11:17

“A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.” Ezekiel 36:26

When God wanted seventy Elders to be able to do what only Moses could do. All He did was to take part of the Spirit that was on Moses and put it on them. May wrong spirits influencing any area of your life leave you. May the Holy Spirit rest on you and bring the change you desire in every area of your life in Jesus name.

 “But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it.” Numbers 14:24

Let us talk about the Spirit of faith this morning. This is the Spirit that enables you to believe God, enforce the supernatural, and obtain victory in any situation. This was the Spirit that was in Caleb and Joshua that made them believe God for the Promised Land despite the fact that the giants were there. This is the Spirit you need to believe God for anything and to receive. This is the Spirit you need to take what belongs to you.

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” 1 John 5:4

“We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;” 2 Corinthians 4:13

No matter how just you think you are, you cannot survive this world without the Spirit of faith, because the Just shall live by faith. You have got to dare situations because God has spoken. You have got to get on the water and walk on it because God has spoken. You have got to curse the giants that are against you to die because you believed God. You have got to call those things that are not as though they were because you believed God.

Spirit-empowered 3

“And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;” Isaiah 11:2

When the Spirit of the Lord rests upon you, you are empowered to deliver supernatural results. This was the secret of Jesus' ministry and must be your secret too. Do not rest until the same Spirit rest on you. This will usher you into a new season in life and in destiny. When Jesus came back to Nazareth, the people could not understand that the carpenter they used to know had turned to a miracle worker by the Spirit. You too will become wonder unto many as you become desperate for the Holy Spirit and you receive Him.

 “And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands? Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.” Mark 6:2-3

“And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.” Luke 4:14

It is time for you to focus your prayer and fasting on the major encounter you need for a definite change. This is one need that if it is met will facilitate the deliveries for any other need: the need for the Holy Spirit. You must be empowered by the Holy Spirit.

 “And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.” Luke 1:35

I want to share with you how to obtain the power to do what you could not do before and secure supernatural results. I want to show you how to turn failure into success and receive help to make things happen. Perhaps your strength and wisdom have failed you, I have good news for you, it is not over yet. You must submit your weakness to the Holy Spirit in exchange for His strength. You must engage the Holy Spirit.

“Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.” Zechariah 4:6

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” Acts 10:38

The Holy Spirit is a Person. You need to love Him with all your heart and be hungry for His presence. You will talk to Him and ask Him to take over from you. You will also listen to Him, to receive specific instructions. You will ask Him for wisdom and power. You will ask for His anointing upon your life.

May you have a strong relationship with the Holy Spirit in Jesus name.
