Dealing with afflictions 5

“He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.” Matthew 10:41

The final key in dealing with affliction is taking care of the person who has spiritual leadership over your life. Honoring your Pastor through giving in any form is a way of leveraging on the anointing and the grace that God has put upon him to deal with your affliction. Even if you don’t have any affliction to deal with, honoring your Pastor connects you to the blessing God put on his ministry. This is called venison. Isaac told Esau to bring him some venison so that his soul may bless him.

“And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance.” Luke 8:3

“And she said unto her husband, Behold now, I perceive that this is an holy man of God, which passeth by us continually. Let us make a little chamber, I pray thee, on the wall; and let us set for him there a bed, and a table, and a stool, and a candlestick: and it shall be, when he cometh to us, that he shall turn in thither.” 2 Kings 4:9-10

Honor your Pastor regularly at your level and God shall bless you. Some people ministered to Jesus of their own substances. The Shunamite woman perceived that Elisha was a Man of God and decided to make him comfortable. She did not even consider herself to be in need of a child anymore, but God visited her and gave her a child. Be generous to your Pastor.

May you be visited in this new month in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, meet me at the point of my need in Jesus name.

Salvation: Lord Jesus, I believe in the forgiveness of sin and in the redemption from the power of darkness through your blood. I confess you as my Savior and Lord.  I invite you into my life to save my soul. Holy Spirit, come into my heart and make me what you want me to be. Thank you Lord for saving me in Jesus name.

Dealing with afflictions 4

“Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.” James 5:13

If you can pray, your affliction cannot live. Prayer is key to ending any affliction no matter how deep and stubborn it is. If you are finding it difficult to pray, get in agreement with someone who can pray. Put yourself in an atmosphere of prayer and praise.  Attend church services and get involved in intercession.  Sometimes you may need to intercede for people going through similar affliction for you to receive your own deliverance.

“And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.” Acts 16:25-26

“And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.” Job 42:10

Demonically inspired affliction cannot survive the heat of the Holy Spirit. Prayer generates the heat and the anointing of the Holy Spirit. The time of affliction is not a time to run helter-skelter or run from God.  It is a time to draw close to God in prayer and in faith. You may also need to add fasting to the prayer.

No affliction will cross into May 2022 with you in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I call upon God to deliver me from all my affliction in Jesus name.

Dealing with afflictions 3

“We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;” 2 Corinthians 4:13

Your victory against any affliction begins with your tongue. You must speak boldly and confidently against the affliction in your life. You must tell it what to do. Your tongue determines whether your affliction will live or die. God’s strategy to deal with things and situations is to speak. Your breakthrough is in your mouth.

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” Proverbs 18:21

“And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.” Mark 4:39

Please don’t keep quiet when the enemy is assaulting your life with affliction. Also, don’t speak for your affliction, speak against it. Tell it to die, and don’t stop until it dies. Don’t be intimidated by the situation, but take charge by speaking your expectation. The advantage of the New Testament believer is that he or she can speak in the name of Jesus.

Your affliction must die in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I speak against the affliction in my life, and I command it to die in Jesus name.

Dealing with afflictions 2

“They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.” Psalms 125:1

God does not send affliction into your life. Satan is the origin of all affliction. The good news is that Jesus is made manifest to destroy the work of Satan. Now affliction is a test of your strength. Your true strength is your ability to trust the Lord and walk in His wisdom. If you do trust Him and walk in His wisdom, you will be able to withstand any affliction the enemy may throw at you. If you trust the Lord, He will direct your path to victory and you cannot be removed.

“If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.” Proverbs 24:10

“Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:” Matthew 7:24

The true indicator of your trust in God is your decision and action to turn to Him for help. Ask Him to help you and deliver you from your affliction. Don’t leave until you have an answer because those who trust Him will not leave His presence in haste (Is 28:16). They will wait until their change comes and the affliction is over (Job 14:14). Meanwhile, Satan does not want you to turn to the Lord when afflictions come because He knows that your victory is guaranteed if you do.

Your affliction is over in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, I trust you, help me in Jesus name.

Dealing with afflictions 1

“Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.” Psalms 34:19

When affliction or trouble comes, three things are important. These are your position in Christ Jesus, the word of God concerning afflictions, and the wisdom of God that has made available to you. Afflictions do come to all, it is not a matter of sin or no sin alone. However, God has promised to deliver the righteous from all. So if you have become the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus, rejoice, because your affliction cannot last, God is dealing with it.

“For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.” Psalm 5:12

“And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.” Psalm 50:15

When affliction comes, remember that you are surrounded by favor, God is there with you to deliver you, call upon Him. Ask God to tell you what you should do, don’t depend on your own wisdom, seek God's wisdom. God’s presence and wisdom are there for you to overcome. You shall surely outlast your afflictions, no affliction can outlast you.

Your affliction is over in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, deliver me from all my afflictions in Jesus name.

God meant what He said!

“God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” Numbers 23:19

God cannot and does not lie, He means what He says, He says what He means. He has exalted His word more than His name. Whether written or spoken, God is committed to His word. If you have heard God, then you have a breakthrough. His words and His promises are yes and amen. If you have received a word from the Lord, be confident that He will fulfill it.

“And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.” Luke 1:38

“As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.” Mark 5:36

If you desire a miracle you have to receive and believe the word of God that comes to you. When He told Mary that she would be pregnant as a virgin, she simply believed and received. When He told Jairus to just believe, Jairus did and received His daughter back. What God has said concerning you and your situation shall be fulfilled.

You are coming out of all your trouble in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let Your word come to me in Jesus name.

Let the Lord shepherd you

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.” Psalms 23:1-2

Have ever related with a trusted guide or teacher? All you have to do is to hear and follow his or her instruction to get to your destination or achieve success. A shepherd to sheep relationship demands that the sheep hear and adhere to the instruction of the shepherd. As long as the sheep does that, it does not have to worry about provision. If the Lord shepherds you, your provision is guaranteed.

“And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.” John 10:4

“Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.” Isaiah 48:17

The Lord is willing to lead and teach you, but you must humble yourself as a sheep before the shepherd. You must know His voice and follow His voice. To know someone’s voice, a personal relationship or fellowship is needed. Beloved, be desperate for the voice of the Lord, spend time with the Word, pray, and tune in to the Holy Spirit. When you do, write down what comes to your heart. You are one instruction away from your breakthrough.

May you hear and obey the voice of the Lord in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh Lord, I am Your sheep, shepherd me in Jesus name.

The law of the first

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33.

Put God first and every other thing will fall in place. Life is stressful without God’s grace, wisdom, and power. Seek God first before it is too late (Is 55:6, Ecc 12:1). You cannot be the best without God. Give God your first hour in the day. Give God your first fruit. Give God your tithe. Most important, give God’s instruction the first priority in your life. Think of it this way, everything you are looking for is in God. God has chosen to reveal Himself to us through His word and His Holy Spirit.

“And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.” Luke 10:41-42

“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13

You cannot know yourself until you know God first. This is the reason behind confusion in the life of many. Stay in God’s presence until you know Him and you discover yourself, then your life questions shall be answered. You will then discover where you should live, what you should do with your life and the kind of company you should keep.

May you find God first in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I invite the Holy Spirit to guide and guard me in my destiny journey in Jesus name.

Enforcement is war

“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.” Matthew 11:12.

Every promise in the scripture is for you. Your sin, sickness and poverty are fully paid for. Unfortunately, if you don’t know how to enforce the promise or receive the benefit of the finished work, it will look as if the promise is not real. Enforcement is war. We fight this war by praying, confessing, giving, and acting on God’s instruction combined with patience and persistence.

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;).” 2 Corinthians 10:3-4

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12

Satan cannot rob you of the promise, without your cooperation. If you are ignorant and not violent in the spirit, you are cooperating with your enemy. Insist on seeing the work and the promises of the Lord manifest in your life. Break the hold of the enemy on what belongs to you. Claim and receive the promise of God into your life.

May you live above sin, sickness, and poverty in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I enforce the promises of God in my life in Jesus name.

Choices with eternal meanings

“And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.  And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.” Acts 9:5-6.

Everyone that has eternity in mind must make two choices. The first is the choice to know and follow Jesus wholeheartedly. The second is the choice to pursue a vision from Him passionately.  If you want your life to count now and in eternity, you must make these two choices. The first choice guarantees you a place with God in eternity. The second guarantees a reward in eternity.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

“And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.” Revelation 22:12

Please do not do religion without following Jesus Christ, it is a form of carnality, it leads to death. This was Paul's story until he met Christ. Do not live as someone beating the air, such as a life without a vision from God. Every Christian must pray and ask God this question, “what will You have me do?”

May you make good choices for now and for eternity in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, help me to make my life count now and in eternity in Jesus name.

His presence

“And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him, And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.” Acts 7:9-10

The greatest need of any man is God’s presence. Please don’t live without His presence. This is the only thing that can give you rest in this tempestuous world. This is the only thing that guarantees prosperity in this unstable world. Don’t compromise His presence for anything in this world. His presence is the only sure trust in this world. If you are conscious of God’s presence, you cannot live in fear.

“And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.” Exodus 33:14

“And the Lord was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.” Genesis 39:2

The presence of God gave Joseph deliverance. The presence of God gave him wisdom and favor that enthroned him. I don’t know what you know about prosperity, but Joseph prospered even when he was a slave because God was with him. Ask God to give you His presence. Walk in fellowship with Him and in obedience to Him.

May the presence of God abide with you in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, do not leave me or forsake me in Jesus name.

Angels’ participation in resurrection

“And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.” Matthew 28:2

The chief priests and Pharisees made the sepulcher sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch. In their mind, they doubted His words that He would rise again and secured the sepulcher. This necessitated Angelic assignment in the resurrection. Although the Holy Spirit raised Him from the dead, the Angel of the Lord rolled back the stone and informed the women that He can be seen in Galilee.

“And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.” Matthew 28:2

“But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?” Hebrews 1:13-14

The implication of this is that both the ministries of the Holy Spirit and of the Angels are needed in the lives of believers today. I believe that the Holy Spirit helps with spiritual matters while Angels help with physical matters that are beyond us. Angels help us to stop the mouth of Lions, break physical chains, bring provision, and keep us safe in the midst of physical dangers.

May you enjoy Angelic assignments in your life in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Angel of the Lord, minister unto me in Jesus name.

Resurrection Power

“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” Romans 8: 11

Whenever the Spirit moves, power is generated; this is similar to the power generated when an electric current moves from one point to another. The Holy Spirit generated the resurrection power. The good news is that every believer has the capacity to be His dwelling place. If your body becomes His dwelling place, He will make your mortal body live. This is the power you need for restoration in all areas of your life.

“For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.” Jeremiah 30: 17

“And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.” Luke 24:49

God wants to dwell in you through the Holy Spirit to make known His power to this generation. All of His promises become easy to access when His Holy Spirit dwells in us. People who have consciously made their bodies the temple of the Holy Spirit can receive the benefits of resurrection and display His glory. Easter should not be a religious activity, but a true Christian experience. Only the Holy Spirit in us can make it an experience in our lives.

May you live daily in the power of resurrection in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Holy Spirit, make me your dwelling place in Jesus name.

Implications of the cross 6

“Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.” Matthew 28: 10

Let us make it to Galilee.  Galilee is a real experience, it is not a religious activity. It is where His resurrection is believed and His instruction for the next steps is received. They knew very well about His sufferings and eventual death on the cross that was made happened by men. They, however, needed to be sure of His resurrection that was supernatural and the basis of their faith in God through Him now and in eternity.

“Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.” Matthew 28: 10: 16

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth..” Act 1:8

At Galilee, they encountered the risen Lord. They heard His instructions and went on in life in boldness and faith. Beloved, have you encountered the risen Lord? Have you received the power of the Holy Spirit? Are you teaching about the resurrected Lord that was taken to heaven, who shall come back again? These are the evidence of a person who has had the Galilee experience.

May you have a personal encounter with the risen Lord in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Lord Jesus reveal Yourself to me and anoint me with the Holy Ghost and power.

Implications of the cross 5

“And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee.” Luke 24: 5-6

The tomb is empty. He has risen. He is alive and no longer among the dead. Hell and death could not hold Him bound. He obtained victory over hell and death for all believers in Him. Satan lost it all. He thought the crucifixion is an end to the redemption plan. He never knew it was the key to the fulfilment of the redemption plan. The redemption plan is completed; Satan lost the keys of hell and death.

“But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.” 1 Corinthians 2: 7-8

“I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.” Revelation 1:18

What are the implications of this? You are serving a living God, your God is not dead. His name will work at all times, in all situations. You have dominion over sin, sickness, and satan.  You need not fear in any situation, but be bold that you are not alone, your God is alive and with you. Now you need to exercise your faith in living Christ for your life and destiny.

Your victory is now in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I claim all that the work of redemption provides for me in Jesus name.

Implications of the cross 4

“When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.” John 19: 30

Jesus received the vinegar and then declared, “it is finished.” Vinegar means sour wine. Some years ago, a friend of mine came to visit me. He went for a stroll, entered a shop, and bought a bottle of vinegar. The look was tempting and he thought it would be good for a taste.  He discovered it was too sour for a drink. Beloved, whatever represents “sour” in your life was received by Jesus before his declaration of the completion of His assignment.

“Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.” Isaiah 53: 4

“And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst.” Luke 23:45

The work of our redemption could not be completed without Him taking our griefs and our sorrows. Now when he declared that it was finished, He was declaring three major events. The first is the completion of our redemption; the second is an end to our sorrows and griefs, “the sour” in our lives; the third is the end of an era when access to God was limited to the Holy of Holies.

Whatever represents “sour” in your life is finished in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I receive the finished work of Christ in my life in Jesus name.

Implications of the cross 3

“And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation. And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,” Luke 22: 40-41

Jesus prayed Himself into the will of God and prayed ahead of the will of God. The will of God for Him at this time was suffering and death that preceded the eternal glory. Beloved, the will of God may not be sweet at the beginning, but the end is always good, beautiful, and sweet. Do not run from the will of God for your life, but prepare through prayer. If the Son of God had to pray ahead, you surely need to do so too.

“Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.” Luke 22: 42

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2

If you have received a vision from God or His will has been revealed to you on any matter, pray through on the vision whether you consider it difficult or not. The implication of the cross is that it must be carried but not without divine help. Please pray and receive the help you need to walk in the will of God for your life.

May the will of God be done in your life in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God help me in Jesus name.

Implications of the cross 2

“Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and  with his stripes we are healed. .” Isaiah 53: 4-5

Jesus had no sin, but took our place of sin, and received the punishment so that all who believe in Him can take His place of righteousness. This is called vicarious liability. All that Jesus went through was substitutional, our griefs and sorrow He had taken. WHAT HE HAD TAKEN CAN NOT BE IN OUR LIVES LEGALLY. He received punishment for you and me to receive peace and healing.

“Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.:” 1 Peter 2:24

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23

All that Jesus did for us we can claim to live above sin, sickness, afflictions, and sorrow. We have become the righteousness of God and so must produce the fruit of righteousness. We must walk in the consciousness of this revelation and be bold in our declarations and actions against the work of darkness in our lives.

May you receive the provision of God through Christ Jesus.

Prayer for today: I break the yoke of sin, sickness, grief, and sorrow over my life in Jesus name.

Implications of the cross 1

“Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;” Colossians 2:14

For every Christian, what was written against us was nailed to the cross!!!  The cross existed before anyone presently living on the face of the earth. This means the cross precedes whatever was written against you and has taken care of it even before it existed. No curse or evil covenant has a legal right over any Christian because of the cross. These can only operate if we are ignorant of the way to enforce what the cross obtained for us.

“Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:” Galatians 3:13

“And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Matthew 16:18

When you make a declaration against curses, evil covenants, and evil manifestations in and around your life, you are exercising and enforcing your right. You need not be afraid, and neither do you need to doubt. If you are bold and persistent you shall see positive results. What the cross has taken care of cannot remain in your life without your permission.

May you walk in dominion over whatever that was written against you in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I enforce the victory that the cross of Jesus obtained for me in Jesus name.

The Cross and Obedience

“Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;” Hebrews 5:8

In this resurrection week, I have good news for you; whatever you are passing through shall give way for the victory celebration in Jesus name. Now the direction of obedience is what you must follow to end the challenges and usher in the celebration. You must ask God what He wants you to do, and do it when you hear Him. Nothing can withstand you if you walk in obedience.

“And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.” 2 Corinthians 10:6

“And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:” Philippians 2:8-9

The cross cannot be prolonged in your life, if you walk in obedience. Whatever has come your way is not to maim you, but to make you. Jesus went through the suffering and pain on the cross, but was exalted after all because of obedience. The time of challenges is not time to rebel against God but rather to seek His face. May you hear God and obey Him in the midst of your storm in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Let the cross in my life give way to total victory in Jesus name.

Nine mysteries of life 9

“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,” 1 Corinthians 15:51

The ninth mystery of life that I want to share with you is the mystery of death. Christians do not die Christians only sleep. The fact that Jesus died and was resurrected gives Christians hope beyond death. Not all Christians shall sleep, but all Christians shall be changed. The body that permits all men to be physically alive is mortal and corruptible. This is why aging is inevitable. However, the corruptible must take on the incorruptible. This shall happen when all shall be changed either by sleeping or by rapture.

“In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.” 1 Corinthians 15:52-53

“For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:” 1 Thessalonians 4:15-16

Beloved, you don’t need to be afraid of death, but you do need to claim your victory over sin and the law through Jesus Christ. This is because the sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law, but God has given us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Death is an enemy, but we have victory over death through Jesus Christ. If you are not a Christian, I urge you to invite Jesus into your life and become a Christian. Only Christians have victory over sin and death.

You shall not die before your time in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I break the yoke of sin and death over my life in Jesus name.

Nine mysteries of life 8

“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Luke 10:19

The eighth mystery of life that I want to share with you is the mystery of power. Power is the ability to make things work. If you want to do anything you become unstoppable if you actually possess the power to do it. Every creature is created with the power to do certain things. Every creature also has oppositions. If your opposition has more power than you he can determine your destiny.  Another mystery is that the power of any personality you are in covenant with is made available to you. If you are actually in covenant with God, and you do not violate it, the power of God to fulfill destiny is available to you. You cannot be wasted nor can you be stopped.

“And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.” Luke 24:49

“Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.” Matthew 12:29

The bible revealed at least five sources of God-given power. (1) Believing. “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” John 1:12. (2) Knowledge. “……but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.” Daniel 11:32. (3) Enduement. “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you…….” Act 1:8. (4) Covenant. “And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:” Genesis 12:3 (5) Authority. “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Luke 10:19.

May you carry power to be who God wants you to be in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, fill me with the Holy Spirit and power in Jesus name.

Nine mysteries of life 7

“And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands?” Mark 6:2

The seventh mystery of life that I want to share with you is the mystery of the given wisdom.  There is a wisdom that is acquired and another wisdom that is given. There was wisdom that made Jesus do carpenter work and there was another wisdom that made Him do a mighty work. The wisdom to do mighty works was given to Him. In Exodus 31, Bezalel was given the spirit of wisdom in all manner of workmanship, and he was readily available to help with the building of the Tabernacle skillfully. The wisdom was given to him and he did mighty works in this area.

“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.” Romans 13:10

“And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,” Exodus 31:3

Beloved, the given wisdom comes to you as a result of your relationship with God. Your life will be distinct as a child of God if you have this wisdom. It is the wisdom that empowers you to do mighty and unusual works on earth. This is the wisdom we all need in such a time like this. I challenge you to seek and receive this wisdom from God. Spend time with God and specifically ask that such wisdom be given to you.

May you be endowed with the wisdom to do mighty works on earth in Jesus name.

Prayer for today Oh God, fill me with the Spirit of wisdom in Jesus name.

Nine mysteries of life 6

“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” 1 Cor 13:13

The sixth mystery of life that I want to share with you is the mystery of love.  Love is greater than faith and hope. God Himself is love. You cannot truly have God in your life and not work in love. When love is present, positive things are made to happen and there is hope for the future.  When love is in your heart, you would not break the law. You would not destroy yourself or your neighbor if love is at work in your life.

“Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.” Romans 13:10

“He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou? And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.” Luke 10:26-27

Love is not sex. If love is sex, a sex prostitute possesses it all. Ammon hated Tamar after he slept with her (2 Samuel 13:15). We need to know God through the revelation of Jesus Christ for us to walk in true love. Biblical love is expressed by giving. God expressed His love to the world by giving His only begotten Son to rescue humanity from eternal destruction. When love is at work, satan and his work are hindered.

Beloved, the best way to live is to walk in love.

May God’s love envelop our lives and our society in Jesus name.

Prayer for today Oh God, plant the seed of Your love in my heart in Jesus name.

Nine mysteries of life 5

“And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness, God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory” 1 Timothy 3:16

The fifth mystery of life that I want to share with you is the mystery of godliness.  Godliness means to live like God or the way God wants you to live. This is key to victorious living on earth. This has to do more with your conviction and belief in Jesus than anything else. These convictions are: Jesus came as God in the flesh (John 1:14); He was confirmed to be the Son of God by the Holy Spirit (Mathew 3:17); The Angels ministered to Him (Mathew 4:11); He preached the kingdom of God to the gentiles (Mathew 4:17); People became sons of God by accepting Him (John 1:12); He died and resurrected (1 Corinthians 15:20); He ascended to heaven in glory (Act 1:9)

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith." 1 John 5:4

“But godliness with contentment is great gain." 1 Timothy 6:6

Beloved, to live like God on earth, you must believe and receive the provision of salvation through the Word became flesh (Rom 10:10). You must experience the conviction of the Holy Spirit that you are a child of God (Rom 8:16). You should be convinced that God has assigned Angels to help you (Hebrews 1:14). You should not be ashamed to share your conversion testimony and the life of Jesus with others (Mark 16:15). And you should walk daily with God through a sound relationship with the Holy Spirit (John 15:7).

May you walk as God on earth in Jesus name.

Prayer for today Oh God, give grace to live daily like You in Jesus name.

Nine mysteries of life 4

“And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Thessalonians 5:23

The fourth mystery of life that I want to share with you is the mystery of the total man.  A total man is a spirit that has a soul and lives in the body. The body allows a man to exist on earth. If the body is mismanaged, the man dies. There is enough material in this world on how you can take care of your body and enjoy sound health. Basically, water, nutritious food, and good exercise are necessary to keep the boy fit.  The soul of a man is the realm where information is processed and decisions are taken. The soul thrives on the truth. Every man of great impact must consider gathering information, applying the power of thinking, and taking informed actions.

“For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come." 1 Timothy 4:18

“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth." 3 John 1:2

“The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching all the inward parts of the belly.” Proverbs 20:27

Man is a spirit and is permitted to do the supernatural by connecting to God through the Holy Spirit. I believe a man needs a strong and reinforced spirit to handle the storms of life and fulfill destiny. The Holy Spirit is available to help and to teach us so that we will not merely exist, but make profitable use of our lives on earth. Salvation through the death and resurrection of Jesus, meditation in the Holy Scriptures, and praying in the Spirit are the basic experiences that strengthen the spirit of man.

May you choose the path of revelation and take dominion on earth in Jesus name.

Prayer for today Oh God, make me whole spirit, soul, and body in Jesus name.

Nine mysteries of life 3

“And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” John 17:3

The third mystery of life that I want to share with you is the mystery of eternal life. Man is an eternal being, at death, he only sheds the corruptible body and takes the full form of a spirit. Eternal life with God begins on earth and not until man dies and leaves the earth. Eternal life is you carrying the presence of God. The key to enjoying eternal life with God is knowing Jesus, and walking in the practical application of that knowledge.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

"And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him," Acts 7:9

It does not matter what challenges or storms are confronting you in this part of eternal life, if you know God and walk with Him, you will enjoy eternal life on earth. The people that walked with God in the Bible passed through situations that looked like fire but they could not be consumed. Because they knew God and walked with Him. If you have given your life to Jesus, I encouraged you to seek instructions from Him with all your strength and walk in the light of that instruction. If you have not given your life to Jesus, repent today and surrender your life to Him so that you can move from outside the camp into the camp of people who have eternal life with Jesus.

May the presence of God be with you and may you enjoy eternal life here on earth in Jesus name.

Prayer for today Oh God, let me experience eternal life on earth through your presence in Jesus name.

Nine mysteries of life 2

“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: ………………… He hath made everything beautiful in his time: ……….” Ecclesiastes 3:1-11

The second that I want to share is the mystery of time. In the world, time is a major factor. Time and season go hand in hand. There are good times and bad times, but anyone who understands the mystery of time will still enjoy good times even in bad times.  This is because time for a life is actually divided into two, these are the process of time and the fullness (completion) of time.  The process of time is seed time. The fullness of time is harvest time.

“And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment.” 1 Chronicles 12:32.

“I have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and chance happen to them all.” Ecclestiastes 9:11

The mystery of time is that if you know what to do per time and you do it at the right time, life will be good. You have to continue to do what you are supposed to do until your time of manifestation comes. It does not matter how good the technology is, the harvest time for cocoa is always longer than that of corn. A woman may have a big body or small body, it does not also matter whether a woman is rich or poor, the time of pregnancy is nine months. Despite the fact that God was with Joseph, he did not get to the throne until his time came. Everything in life follows the process of time. If the process had been followed, then there will be fullness of time, when you have results.

May the time of your manifestation come in the name of Jesus.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let me experience timely breakthrough in every area of my life in Jesus name.

Nine mysteries of life 1

“While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.” Genesis 8:22

In the next few days, I want to share with you some of the mysteries of life. The first that I want to share is the mystery of seeds. The future is in the seed; he would neglect the seeds is neglecting the future. The harvest is in the seed so harvest is controlled and determined by the seed. You can easily determine the number of seeds in a fruit, but you can never know the number of fruits in a seed. You are now in the harvest of the seed you sowed yesterday, you are preparing your future by the seed you are sowing today.

“In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good.” Eccelstiastes 11:6.

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians 6:9

Seeds are actions, words, and thoughts. Seeds can also be material things. If you know how to handle your seed, you will know how to handle your future. The seed may be very small but it carries the future. Never neglect to start small, it is usually the prerequisite for becoming great. Refrain from doing evil, because you will surely not like the harvest. Never revenge against anyone, it is a bad seed, it sparks a chain of evil reactions whose end you cannot determine. Vengeance is God’s assignment and not that of man. Any man who knows how to sow good seeds and water them has a great future. Seeds have the power to naturally break through. Dangerous harvest requires dangerous seeds. The law of seed and harvest cannot be broken. If you eat your seed because of your present condition, you are jeopardizing your future.

May you enter your harvest of good things speedily in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, bless my seed in the name of Jesus.

Ye are gods!

“I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.” Psalms 82:6

The children of a Lion are Lions, so also the children of God are gods. You cannot become a child of God without the revelation of His Word and the power of the Holy Spirit. This means if you are bold to say you are a child of God, you should also be bold to say you are a god. This declaration is consequent of a mindset of dominion through the personal revelation of the God in you.

“Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?  If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;” John 10:34-35

“And the Lord said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.” Exodus 7:1

Moses became bold against Pharaoh and began to dictate how things should be in Egypt, the moment he heard God declaring him as a god to Pharaoh. What used to dominate you can no longer do so if you realize that you are a god. You can be bold and tell situations what they should be. God upholds all things by the word of His power. You too can speak against contrary situations in your life and uphold God's plans for your destiny.

You are god over the strongman in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I decree that my situations are conforming to God’s word in the name of Jesus.
