When you pray…..

“Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them." Mark 11:24

When you pray on your desire, stop worrying; start believing.

Have you ever asked a trusted person something and the person promised you that he would do it? I am sure you immediately began to feel excited as if you had received it. The feeling would be like having money in your bank account. Even when you are far from your bank, you are confident you can access your money at any time. God has promised to answer your prayers and He can be trusted more than any man can.

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” Mathew 7:7
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” Philippians 4:6

When you have prayed on a matter, keep on declaring, “I believe, I receive.” Stop worrying and start acting as if you have what you asked. The bible says concerning Hannah in 1 Samuel 1:17-18, “Eli answered, “Go in peace, and may the God of Israel grant you what you have asked of him.” She said, “May your servant find favor in your eyes.” Then she went her way and ate something, and her face was no longer downcast.”

I decree your prayers are answered in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I believe, I receive in Jesus name.

Spirit empowered!

“Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts." Zechariah 4:6

An excellent way of getting results is by being empowered by the Holy Spirit. When the spirit came upon Saul, he became another man. He became a free man to do as occasion demanded. When the Spirit came upon David, he slaughtered Goliath as if he was never a giant. Even our Lord Jesus did all that He did because He was empowered by the Holy Spirit.

“And the Spirit of the Lord will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man. And let it be, when these signs are come unto thee, that thou do as occasion serve thee; for God is with thee.” 1 Samuel 10:6-7
“I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:  With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him.” Psalm 89:20-21
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,” Luke 4:18

Beloved, perhaps you are struggling with getting important things done in your life, begin to ask that God to anoint you with the Holy Spirit to get it done. I see you excelling in every way in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God anoint me to make things happen in Jesus name.

Look up, help is coming!

“……. To morrow, by that time the sun be hot, ye shall have help. …….." 1 Samuel 11:9
“My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:2

This is the word of the Lord for someone this morning: you shall have help before it is too late; you shall never be put to shame in the name of Jesus. I have discovered that when you trust God with your life, He will always send timely help. One of my favorite scriptures is Isaiah 41:10.

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”

In 1 Samuel 11, Nahash came against the people of Jabesh Gilead. The people were willing to serve him but he decided he was going to put them to shame. He wanted to make the whole city one-eyed people by removing their right eyes. The people were going to agree if they could not get help. But Saul anointed of the Lord sent message to them that help was coming and they were helped.

Beloved, perhaps you are in a similar situation that except help comes, humiliation is inevitable, I have good news for you. You shall not be humiliated, the Lord God of heaven and h=earth who never sleeps or slumber shall send you a timely help.

Prayer for today: I call in a timely help in my present situation in Jesus name.

Your choice, your life

" And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,  And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants." Luke 15:17-19

I know you are about to make a choice right now. This knowledge is based on the fact that we are always faced with situations that require us to make choices. It is important to know that when you make a choice you do not only determine your future; you also face the consequences. As a Christian, you should make your choice based on three things

1.       Established knowledge. Find out all you need to know before you make a choice. Thank God there are many available sources of adequate information so you don’t need to be like the prodigal son who has to learn by his own experience. He only realized that it was better with his father after he had eaten with the swine.
2.       The word of God. The word of God is true, unshakable and current at all time. If your choice is based on the word, your future is guaranteed. Read Mathew 7: 24- 27
3.       Faith in God. If you have heard God and you believe it, the most unreasonable choice may be the breakthrough choice.

May you make the right choice today and always.

Prayer for today: Lord, help me to make the right choice every day in Jesus name.

Bind it, loose it

" And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." Mathew 16:19

Establishing a kingdom involves two major things: permission of what should be permitted and restriction of what should be restricted. Similarly, in one’s life, there are certain things that must happen and there are things that must be rejected. All kings have kingdoms and determine what happen through their words. They permit some things and reject others based on their decisions using their words. Now as a child of God, you have been given the keys to bind and to loose. The implication is this: you are the gateman of your life, what you reject leaves, what you accept stays.

“See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.” Jeremiah 1:10
“Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?” Ecclesiastes 8

What should you do with this? Bind whatever the enemy has planted in your life and cast it out. Loose whatever the enemy is withholding from you. Do it until you see results in your life.

I see restoration coming your way. I see the enemy giving up in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Devil, I bind you, loose your hold over what belongs to me in Jesus name.

Through faith

" Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions." Hebrews 11:33

Most of the things we want to accomplish are beyond us and will always require faith to make it happen. Faith in the sense that you have to (1) believe that it can be done and that God is with you and will help you; (2) declare it and pray about it (3) work on it with your whole heart and strength (4) be consistent and persistent until you accomplish it.

I am sure that you know by now that all things are possible, and that whatever that is in the heart of a man can become a reality no matter how difficult or impossible it appears. This means that if an idea comes into your heart and you mark it impossible, you are killing yourself. If God promises you something and you are doubting it, you are wounding yourself.

“For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.” Romans 1:17
“But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.  A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” James 1:6-8

God asked me to tell you this morning, “Go for it, it can be done” You can get that degree. You can start that business. You can get married and have children. You can get that job. You can start that ministry. Whatever He has put in your heart can be done!!!

Prayer for today: In the name of Jesus, I am subduing kingdoms, walking in righteousness, obtaining promises and stopping the mouth of lions.

The finished work

" When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost." John 19:30

The work of our redemption is a finished work. No extra thing is needed. No more sacrifices of goat or sheep. You only need to believe and declare it in order to experience it.

Redemption from what? From sin, sickness and poverty.

“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.” Mathew 1:21
“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes, we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5
“For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.” 1 Corinthians 8:9

Beloved, never permit the devil to put any of these on you, Jesus took care of them all.

Prayer for today: I secure my redemption from sin, sickness, and poverty through the blood of Jesus.

He is risen!

" He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay." Mathew 28:6

Jesus rose from death! That was the will of God but not the will of the wicked men who killed Him and the devil who instigated them to kill Him. The wicked men put a big stone on the sepulcher and stationed some guards to watch the tomb. But the Spirit of God raised Him up, sent an earthquake and an Angel. The Angel rolled the stone away, the guards became like dead men and the risen Christ was no longer found in the sepulcher.

Beloved, I have a good news for you, because nothing could stop the resurrection of Christ, nothing can stop the will of God in your life. Nothing can stop your restoration. Nothing can stop your glory and your rising. The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead is in you and shall quicken your mortal bodies. Your body shall be healed, your business shall be restored, your career shall bounce back. The wickedness of men and of the kingdom of darkness against you shall be dealt with by the Spirit of God that dwells within you.

“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” Romans 8:11

Beloved, you are coming out of all your troubles because Jesus is risen from dead.

Prayer for today: Let the power that raised Christ from the dead be at work in every area of my life in Jesus name.

Easter Prayer 3

“Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;” Colossians 2:14
“Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:” Colossians 1:13

You are delivered. I am delivered. Jesus secured our deliverance on the cross. We belong to the Kingdom of Jesus, no longer to the kingdom of darkness. We are free from sickness, poverty, and sin. We are chosen and preferred by our redemption. The cross changed everything, it makes us to be what God wants us to be, people of faith and of power. The curse is broken; the evil covenant is replaced by the covenant of sonship.

“Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:  That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” Galatians 3:13-14

Beloved, enforced your deliverance through prayers. Walk in your deliverance by having a mindset of victory. Never permit any form of curses or evil covenant in your life because Jesus dealt with them on the cross. Your deliverance was secured through the blood of Jesus.
Prayer for today: I break the power of sin, sickness, and poverty over my life in the name of Jesus.

Easter Prayer 2

“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5

At the cross, Jesus paid the price for our healing. It is the will of God for you to be healthy and to have peace. You can believe God for any kind of healing and you can also believe Him for peace at any trouble time.

“But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.” John 19:34
“Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?” Jeremiah 8:22

One of the things that makes this Friday good is that you can get healing from any sickness in your body. The blood and the water that came from the side of Jesus is the balm of Gilead for all sicknesses. The greatest physician provided the balm and He is with you right now. Begin to claim your healing in the name of Jesus.

I declare you healed right now in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I drink the blood of Jesus and I speak to all infirmities in my body to die in Jesus name.

Easter Prayer 1

“Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.” Psalm 32:1-2

At the cross, Jesus paid the price for our sins. He took the place of our sin so that we can take the place of His righteousness. We receive forgiveness of our sins and cleansing for a new beginning. Jesus became the sacrificial lamb for our sins once and for all. No more need for the blood of goat and sheep.

“In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:” Colossians 1:14
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9
“And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.” Luke 23:42-43

The thief who was nailed to the cross at the right hand of Jesus received forgiveness when he turned to Jesus and asked for mercy. Mercy and forgiveness are available for all at the cross. Repent from all known sin and ask God to forgive you through Jesus Christ.

The yoke of sin is broken in your life in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, forgive me all my sins and cleanse me from all my iniquities in Jesus name.

Beyond the present pain

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12: 2

Beloved, there is glory ahead of this present pain that you are going through. This shame shall turn to glory, be encouraged!

There is power in looking beyond the pain, the struggle and the challenge. It creates within a man the driving force to arrive at the glorious destination. Jesus went through the pain of the cross as a man in the flesh. The pain was real. But what kept Him through was the glorious expectation of the fulfilment of redemption of man.

“Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.” Luke 22:42-43

Beloved, beyond the pain of barrenness is the glorious manifestation of fruitfulness. Beyond the pain of poverty is the glorious manifestation of abundance. Beyond the pain of investment is the glorious manifestation of harvest. May your pain give way to gain in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I receive the strength of the Lord to experience glory in my present situation in Jesus name.

Precedence

“For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” 1 Cor 3:11

A foundation of victory has been laid for you, therefore, you cannot be defeated. Jesus Christ, the word became flesh, is our sure foundation of victory. He came to the world, went through similar challenges as ours and was victorious in all. Our confidence of victory is built on this unshakable foundation. Beloved, never neglect the precedence that worked.

I learned this lesson in a great way yesterday in Polokwane, South Africa. I drove through a route from where I was staying to a friend’s house. I wanted to return to where I was staying so I set the GPS but I noticed it was going to take a different route. My friend advised that I should follow the route I took before but I neglected the advice and followed the GPS. The GPS took me to a different destination. I had to return to the friend house and took the proven route to get to my destination.

“Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God.” 1 Samuel 17:36

Beloved, if you have not had a testimony of victory before you are about to have one. If you have had testimony before you are about to have a greater one. Just don’t neglect the precedence, which is your foundation of victory through Christ Jesus.

May you experience God in a greater way this week in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I claim my victory through the finished work of Christ in this resurrection week in Jesus name.

What to do when you are weak

“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 Cor 12:9

Whenever you sense weakness, quickly connect to His grace.

Beloved, we are not strong at all times and in everything. God must be God. Man must be a man. But God’s ability is available in man through grace. God’s grace is available to the humble. You can actually appear strong all the time even at the time of your weakness if you understand how to connect to the grace of God.

“But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.” James 4:6
“Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” 1 Peter 5:6-7

Perhaps you are in a period of weakness right now. What is confronting you is beyond you. Simply ask God to help you. Tell Him to give you grace and to take over from you. He cares so much for you and He will give you grace and help you.

You don’t have to be a superman to kill a Goliath, move a mountain or quench the mouth of a Lion. You only need to be an ordinary man who carries within himself, the Super God.

May you receive grace in this resurrection week in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Give me your grace Oh God for it is sufficient for me, in Jesus name.

Divine enlargement 7

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians

Enlargement is a reward. A reward of consistency and persistency. Never give up doing what is good until your enlargement manifest. Keep on working on yourself. Keep on contributing. Keep on praying. Keep the joy of the Lord within you, it is your strength. Do not give up. When discouragement comes, encourage yourself. You will get there in Jesus name.

“Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved himself, and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh.” Genesis 41:14
“Then answered one of the servants, and said, Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, that is cunning in playing, and a mighty valiant man, and a man of war, and prudent in matters, and a comely person, and the Lord is with him.” 1 Samuel 16:18

Joseph and David were youth visited by God. However, it took years before the manifestation of their enlargement. But they kept on doing what they were doing until the day of their enlargement. Joseph went from pit to Potiphar’s house and then to Prison. Eventually, the door to the palace opened to him. David was busy keeping the sheep diligently and playing his harps. He never knew someone heard him in the bush. He fought the Lion and the bear and was not thinking that this was important for his enlargement. But a day came when he was recommended for the palace.

Beloved, may you not give up before the manifestation of your glory in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God arise and increase me on all sides in Jesus name.

Divine enlargement 6

“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:” Mathew 7:7
“Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.” Psalms 2:8

You can pray for increase, promotion, and enlargement.  These are the will of God for your life. God wants you to increase, multiply and dominate the earth. 1 John 5:16 says, “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us:” When you ask God to enlarge you, you are not asking amiss. Our texts today confirmed that if you ask, you will receive.

“And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.” 1 Chronicles 4:10
“And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.” Genesis 32:26

Two notable examples in the bible are the stories of Jabesh and Jacob. They asked for enlargement and God granted them their requests. Yours cannot be an exception!

I decree that your prayers are answered in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God empower me to increase, multiply and dominate the earth in Jesus name.

Divine enlargement 5

“Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.” Psalms 102: 13

Favor responds to the presence of God in a man’s life. Favor responds to productivity, relevance, and contribution. When enlargement is about to happen, favor is always its forerunner.

“And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favored, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.” Luke 1:28
“Then the king made Daniel a great man, and gave him many great gifts, and made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief of the governors over all the wise men of Babylon.” Daniel 2:48

After Daniel told and interpreted the dream of the King he was favored with a promotion.

Let me share with you five things you must know about favor:

Favor is timely (Psalms 102: 13)
God’s presence brings favor (Luke 1:28)
Favor follows those that are obedient to God (Isaiah 1:19)
When you are making impact, favor follows you (Luke 8:1-3)
When you are at the right place and at the right time you enjoy favor. (Ecclesiastes 9:11)

I declared that you are blessed and highly favored for divine enlargement in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, enlarge my coast by favor in Jesus name.

Divine enlargement 4

“And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.” Daniel 11:32

Increase your knowledge capacity in order to experience enlargement. Knowledge gives you strength, boldness, and power to make things happen. Knowledge makes a man to stand out in the midst of the crowd.

“And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is? And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art:” Genesis 41:38-39
“Forasmuch as an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and shewing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar: now let Daniel be called, and he will shew the interpretation.” Daniel 5:12

Let me share with you five areas of knowledge capacity you need to build for your enlargement.
1.       Knowledge of God. “……but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.” Daniel 11:32
2.       Knowledge of people. “But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men,” John 2:24. “Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.” Mathew 7:12
3.       Knowledge of time and what to do per time. “And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment.” 1 Chronicles 12:32
4.       Knowledge of your business or your profession. “A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.” Proverbs 18:16
5.       Knowledge of the city where you dwell. “Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the Lord blessed him.” Genesis 26:12

May you increase in knowledge and may you experience divine lifting in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, lift me up into a mountain that is higher than me in Jesus name.

Divine enlargement 3

“Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.” Mathew 9:29
“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebrews 11:6

If you really desire divine enlargement you will have to enlarge your faith capacity. When faith is present, result is guaranteed. Faith attracts God, doubt attracts the devil. It will always be unto you according to your faith.

Let me share with you four ways to increase your faith capacity
1.              Increase your word capacity. Romans 10:17 says, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
2.              Increase your persistency in place of prayer. Luke 18:7-8 says, “And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?”
3.               Do not stop declaring it until you see it. Mark 11:23 says, “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”
4.              Be bold to act on God’s word. Acts 3:6-7 says, “Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.  And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.”

May God increase your faith (Luke 7:15). May you be promoted to the next level by the power of God in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh Lord, increase my faith in Jesus name.

Divine enlargement 2

“And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed.” 2 Kings 4:6
“And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.” Mathew 25:15

Enlargement is a function of capability and availability. God will not give you what you are not capable to handle neither will He give you what you don’t have space for. Build your capacity to receive more from God. God is not limited in pouring into a man. It is a man that defines the limit of what He receives from God. If you bring a cup, God will fill it; if you bring a tank, God will fill it.

In 2 Kings 4:6, The widow of the Prophet who was in debt received a miracle of divine multiplication of oil. She was instructed to borrow many empty vessels and then pour her little oil into them. She did and as long as there were empty vessels the oil was flowing. The oil only stopped when there was no longer empty vessel. As long as you have the capacity to receive, God will pour His grace, wisdom, and power into you for enlargement. Similarly, in Mathew 25:15, each of the servants determined what he received based on his ability. If you can handle it, God will give it to you.

May you have the capacity for enlargement. May you experience divine elevation this month in Jesus month.

Prayer for today: oh God, elevate me, increase me, enlarge me in every area of my life in Jesus name.

Divine enlargement 1

“For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.” Psalms 75:6-7

God will set you up this month in Jesus name. He will enlarge your coast and expand your territories in Jesus name.
Can you imagine that your father is sitting as the chairman of the promotion committee? Then your promotion is guaranteed.

“The Lord maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up. He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the Lord's, and he hath set the world upon them.” 1 Samuel 2:7-8
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.” Jeremiah 29:11-12

Beloved, God is able to enlarge you and He is willing to do so. If a promotion is your desire, then call upon Him with confidence and boldness that He will do it. Take action on His specific instructions for your life (Luke 5:5; John 2:5).

Prayer for today: Oh God, I am ready, take me to the next level in all areas of my life in Jesus name.

You are more than this!

“For it was little which thou hadst before I came, and it is now increased unto a multitude; and the Lord hath blessed thee since my coming: and now when shall I provide for mine own house also?” Genesis 30:30

The situation you are not willing to challenge, you cannot change. The future you are not willing to embrace you cannot conquer. Say no to stagnancy, defeat, limitation and such that have kept you from realizing your full potential.

Jacob had been a slave to Laban for more than twenty-one years. All he could show for his labor was wives and children. He was not even in control of his finances. Laban was in charge and was enjoying the moment. Suddenly, Jacob realized that he was more than this. He realized he could do better. Laban knew he had been blessed because of Jacob yet he kept him under (Genesis 30:27). Jacob challenged the situation, used his skills and realized God’s blessings upon his life.

Beloved, if what you are going through is blocking your vision, you may have to turn to God to open your eyes. God wants to do greater things through you. God wants you blessed and not just survive. God wants to enlarge and increase you. Start by asking God to help you and give you grace. Sharpen your skills and dare to take new territories.

“And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.”

May you experience enlargement this month in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God make me what you want me to be in Jesus name.

Destiny sustenance

“Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?” Galatians 3:3
“For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.” Roman 8:6

Our destiny is spiritual. Our calling is spiritual. The greatest things to have happened to us is that we received Christ into our lives. That is spiritual but has implications in the physical. By that experience, we are separated from curses and connected to blessings. We are separated from death and connected to life. Our lives received a new beginning in the spirit. Such a life can only be sustained by the spirit; it can never be perfected by the flesh. The Spirit mindedness brings life and peace but carnal mindedness brings death.

Beloved, you will have to handle your life based on the word of God and not the dictate of the flesh if you want to sustain your destiny. I believe strongly that the kingdom of God begins in our lives when we became born again (1 Peter 2:9-10). But we miss God when we choose to handle the situations in our lives particularly our relationships with a hardness of heart.

“Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.” Galatians 5:19-21

Beloved, may you be guided by the word of God. May your destiny be made perfect in God in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, correct me if I have slipped into the flesh and its ways, let us your Spirit dominate my life in Jesus name.

Destiny Instruments 4

“And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.” Luke 2:52

Favor is a major instrument of destiny. The good news is that when God is with you, favor is part of the package. Favor will make people do you good even when you don’t qualify for it. Favor brings restoration and enthronement.

“And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him, And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.” Acts 7:9-10
“And the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians.”

If Jesus needed the favour of God and that of man, you too surely need it. May you experience favour that commensurates with your destiny in Jesus name. One key thing I have discovered is that when you align yourself with the plan of God for your life, you will enjoy the favour of God and of man. May you discover God’s plan for your life and may you walk in it in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let favor be my companion in my life’s journey in Jesus name.

Destiny Instruments 3

“And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.” Luke 2:52
“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you:…….” Luke 1:8a

Beloved, the third instrument you need for your destiny is power. There are different kinds of power. Knowledge power, relationship power, physical strength, spiritual power are some examples. In all that you do, adequate knowledge will give you power. Most things can be done on earth with the right relationship particularly when you have a solid relationship with God and with people that He has brought into your life. You need physical power and emotional power to handle adversity. You need spiritual power to handle the wickedness of men and the advancement of the demonic kingdom among men.

I will only speak about the Power of the Holy Ghost. Beloved, there are the activities of the wasters and emptiers in this world. Great destinies have been wasted or paralyzed by this wickedness. The only answer is the Power of God through the Holy Ghost.

“Have respect unto the covenant: for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty.” Psalm 74:20

One of my neighbors in those days when we just started our ministry came knocking on my door early in the morning. He showed me his head. When he was sleeping in the night he had all his hairs in place. But when he woke up, a part had been cleanly shaved. At another time I went to pray for one of our members’ son at the hospital. In my presence, the spirit of the boy was going to leave the body about eight or nine times. I prayed the spirit back into the body and the boy lived. But the following day, his grandmother died. As a Christian, you must carry the power of the Holy Ghost if you want to fulfill your destiny on earth.

May you be filled with the power of the Holy Ghost in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh Lord, Let the power of the Holy Ghost fall upon me in Jesus name.

Destiny Instruments 2

“And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.” Luke 2:52
“And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Thessalonians 5:23

The second instrument of destiny is stature. By stature, it refers to your body, and also your power. I will speak about your body this morning.  You must be healthy and strong to fulfill your destiny. Take care of your body, it is what allow you to find expression on this planet called the earth. If you neglect your body, destiny fulfilment may be impossible because you may be sickly or at the extreme, die. You are a spirit; you have a soul but live in a body to fulfil your destiny on earth.

“But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” Mathew 4:4
“For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.” 1 Timothy 4:8
“Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.” Mathew 6:16.
“For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.” Proverbs 4:22

Healthy eating, bodily exercise, and fasting are important for a healthy body, do not neglect any of them. Resting at the right time is also important. A General of faith said rest so that you may not be laid to rest. Be careful to find correct information about being healthy and make use of them because they will bring health to your body.

May infirmities be far from you. May you be healthy and strong. You will not die before your time in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God restore health unto me, renew my organs and let my body be made whole in Jesus name.

Destiny Instruments 1

“And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.” Luke 2:52

The greatest instrument of destiny fulfilment is wisdom. Howard Carter wrote that the greatest gift of the Spirit is the word of wisdom and I agree with him. You cannot walk in wisdom and fail in life. A fool, even though may be hard working, will not only weary himself but the people that are supporting him as well (Ecclesiastes 10:15). Jesus walked in wisdom so mighty signs were done through him (Mark 6:3). Wisdom makes a man to avoid wastage of strength and efforts (Ecclesiastes 10:10). You can obtain anything on earth if you have the wisdom to do so!

Wisdom is simply making use of the information you have received. The scriptures identified four kinds of wisdom depend on the information source (James 3:15-17). The first is earthly or common sense which you obtain as a result of the environment in which you grew up. Everyone you have met in life has taught you something starting from your parents. The second is sensual or intellectual wisdom. This is as a result of the skill you have learned and developed either as a student or an apprentice. The third one is devilish, this is obtained through contact with the devil (Acts 8:9-11, Acts 16:16-18). The fourth one is the wisdom from God which you obtain through the Holy Spirit and revelation from the scriptures.

Not all common sense is useful particularly when it is against God, and you must be skillful at least in one thing to fulfil your destiny.  Never go to the devil to obtain wisdom, it leads to destruction. Any kind of wisdom which is against God will still lead to destiny failure. May you operate in God-given wisdom in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh Lord give me the wisdom to deal wisely in all affairs of life in Jesus name.

Pastoral blessing

“And he removed from thence, and digged another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it Rehoboth; and he said, For now the Lord hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.” Genesis 26:22
“For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.  But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.” Psalms 75:6-7

I welcome you to this new month of April. It is your month of enlargement. God will set you up this month. He will make room for you. Every contention against your promotion shall be frustrated in Jesus name.

Two things are very important in our destiny journey, the first thing is our ability to know what God is about to do. The second is our ability to appropriate it into our lives. November last year, our church Pastor in Nigeria asked me what the theme would be for this year 2019. As I sat down to pray, God spoke to my heart, Rehoboth and took me to Genesis 26. I sent the theme to the Pastor and prayed about it. As at that time, here in South Africa, we have been looking for our own venue for years. Before the end of that month, God made room for us in the same property we have visited several times and have been turned down.

I see God making room for you this month. I see the door you have been knocking, opening for you this month. I see God promoting you in every area of your life in Jesus name. Happy new month.

Prayer for today: Oh God of enlargement, enlarge my coast and expand my territory this month in Jesus name.

NB: Plan to attend our yearly men’s conference this month on April 20, the theme is “Winner Man.” And also to celebrate my birthday with me on Sunday, April 21.
