His presence, your greatest asset

“And He said, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” Exodus 33:14

It is with great joy that I welcome you to the last day of 2020. We have all seen the end of the year and we are grateful to God for keeping us through and blessing us with the gift of life. As we cross over into 2021, it is important for us to know that our greatest asset is going to be the presence of the Lord. Every other thing shall fail in such a time life this but His presence cannot and will not fail us. Rest and peace are guaranteed if we carry His presence. Victory is guaranteed if we carry His presence. Please no matter be the case, make sure that His presence is with you.

“And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him,” Act 7:9

“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.” Isaiah 43:2

People shall betray us but His presence will lift us and sustain us. Satan will attack us but His presence will turn things around for our good. The government will disappoint us but His presence shall uphold us. A lot of things will happen that may bring fear but His presence will give us boldness and consequently victory. We may not know what is ahead of us but we would not need to worry if we are sure of His presence. Please prioritize your time with God and ensure He is with you. Obey Him in all things and sincerely desire Him.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let me Your presence be with me every day of my life in Jesus name.

Salvation: Lord Jesus, I believe in the forgiveness of sin and in the redemption from the power of darkness through your blood. I confess you as my Savior and Lord.  I invite you into my life to save my soul. Holy Spirit, come into my heart and make me what you want me to be. Thank you Lord for saving me in Jesus name.

What are you going to do next?

“When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?  And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do." John 6:5-6

Jesus knew what He would do, may you know what to do next. May you have His light in the midst of this dark world. As you wait on God for next year in prayer and fasting, it is important that God guides and teaches you what you should do next. A lot of uncertainty surrounds us. As the scripture has prophesied, darkness is covering the whole world. The light of God is the revelation of His word giving us direction of what we should do and how we should respond to our present situation in this wild world.

“Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.” Isaiah 48:17

“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.” Isaiah 60:1

Beloved, God is willing to teach you, if you are not too busy to sit at His feet and ask Him. The degree of your shining is determined by the degree of the light you have. If you hear Him, you have the light that will take you through, which no darkness can comprehend. Jesus told Martha in Luke 10:41-42, “And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.” You only need one word from the Lord that will enable you to know what to do next to handle the challenges ahead.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let me know what I should do next in Jesus name.

Pray through for your destiny

“I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved." Habakkuk 2:1

As the year is running to an end, sit down with the word God and in prayer, seek God for the year ahead and for your destiny. You need a word for your destiny from the Lord to run with. You need God’s blessing upon your life. You need His wisdom and favour to handle the years ahead. If all these are in place you will not have anything to worry about. You will enjoy His presence and have victory over any challenges that may come your way.

“And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.” 1 Chronicles 4:10

“And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.” Genesis 32:26

Beloved, the best gift that you can take from this year into the New Year is the blessing of answered prayer. Jabesh prayed about his destiny and God heard him. His situation responded immediately. Jacob got the blessing and he did not have to worry about the attack from Esau forever. Stop running around and pray through for what is ahead. I decree answers to your prayers in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, visit me before the end of this year, let me hear your voice and have direction for my life in Jesus name.

The five names of Jesus 5

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6

Jesus is also called the Prince of Peace. Where Jesus is welcomed, peace is welcomed. Where Jesus’s words are obeyed, peace prevailed. Even in the midst of a storm, if Jesus is present, peace manifests. This kind of peace passes all understanding. It is beyond the peace that the world can give. It is the peace that everyone needs in the midst of trouble and fearful situation. This peace that only Jesus can give is what the world needs today.

“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27

“And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7

In Mark 4, He was in the ship with His disciples when a storm came. He was sleeping and His disciples cried unto Him asking whether He cared that they should perish. Mark 4:39 says, “And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.” May the Prince of Peace manifest in your home, in your business, in your finances, and in every troubled area of your life in Jesus name. May you experience the peace that passes all understating as you put your trust in Jesus the Prince of Peace.

Prayer for today: Lord Jesus manifest Yourself as The Prince of Pease in every area of my life.

The five names of Jesus 4

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6

I welcome you to the last Sunday in 2020. I decree that in this last Sunday, God shall change your sorrow to joy and celebration in Jesus name. Jesus is known as The everlasting Father. He is the express image of God the Father. He told Philip that whosoever has seen Him has seen the Father. This means all of the Father’s love, blessings, care, discipline, protection, and provision are accessible through an encounter with Jesus.

“Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?” John 14:9

“If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?” Matthew 7:11

Whose you are is more important than who you are. God is your father, He is everlasting and unlimited in power and glory. You belong to Him. He has chosen to show up to us in the flesh through our Lord Jesus Christ. This makes it easy for us to enjoy His Fatherhood personality in our lives. Whatever you need right now begin to receive in the name of Jesus. Whatever aspect of God’s Fatherhood you want to enjoy, you can enjoy them through our Lord Jesus Christ. I decree that your story shall turn to glory in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Lord Jesus manifest Yourself as The everlasting Father in my life.

The five names of Jesus 3

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6

Jesus is also called The mighty God. Jesus is to the believers all the experience of God we need for life and destiny. God is not far away from us. He is manifested in Jesus, the Word, through whom all things were created. Throughout His life on earth, He demonstrated power as evidence that He is the mighty God. He has power over nature, demons, diseases, sin, and death. I am glad to announce to you that Jesus is the manifestation of the mighty God in your situation. Your situation shall change positively in His mighty name.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” John 1:1-3

“And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands?” Mark 6:2

This specific revelation of Jesus is very significant. We should have this revelation, so that we can receive Him as the mighty God and experience His power in any situation we find ourselves in. Faith in His name is all we need to turn things around (Acts 3:16). Are you in a situation that needs God’s intervention speedily? I decree victory for you in the mighty name of Jesus.

Prayer for today: Lord Jesus manifest Yourself as The Mighty God in my life.

The five names of Jesus 2

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6

This is saying Merry Christmas to you. Thanks for reading my daily messages, I believe God is blessing you through the messages. Today we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, The Word became flesh Himself. His name is also called Counsellor. He has answers to all your questions. He has directions for your life. He has solutions to all of man’s frustrations and confusions. I decree that His counsel shall come to you today and His light shall shine on your path in Jesus name.

“Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.” Luke 5:4-5

“His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.:” John 2:5

Peter was already frustrated and had given up when the Counsellor met with him. He simply counseled Peter to try again. Peter responded positively to His counsel and his life changed. Mary knew that His counsel was always the solution to the problem of men, so she advised the friends of the bridegroom at the marriage in Cana of Galilee to listen to Him. Beloved, may you receive His counsel today and every time you need to know what to do in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Lord Jesus manifest Yourself as the Counsellor in my life.

The five names of Jesus 1

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6

The names of Jesus reveal to us what we can expect and experience through Him. May we have a revelation of His name for our lives and our destinies. As we celebrate His birth, it is much more important that we experience His name in every area of our lives.  The first revelation of His name is called wonderful. He is full of wonders. The people who knew His beginning were astonished by the wonders and mighty work that were done through Him. If what your situation needs is a wonder, the name of Jesus is the answer. You can always experience His wonders in your lives if we would only believe in His name.

“And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands?” Mark 6:2

“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:” Philippians 2:9

Every unpleasant situation shall change in the name of Jesus. Every quarter to shame situation shall turn to glory in the name of Jesus. Every scarcity situation shall turn to abundance in the name of Jesus. Every depressing situation shall turn to an excitement in the name of Jesus. This is because the name is full of wonder. Maybe you don’t feel like celebrating the season, I have a word for you: change your garment and get ready for a positive surprise in the name of Jesus.

Prayer for today: Lord Jesus show Yourself as wonderful in my life.

The season should be about Jesus

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6

Jesus is the very heart of God's agenda for the universe. Is this one of the reasons that the world hates Him so much? They changed happy Christmas to Happy holiday. They changed merry Christmas to merry Xmas. Some countries don’t want people to preach about Him despite the fact that their religious book spoke more about Him than the founder of the religion himself. Yet the date in the world is mentioned based on Him. He is the only genuine solution to satan and his kingdom in the world. Unfortunately, the world has been deceived and blindfolded, and does not want Jesus.

“He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” John 1:10-12

“Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.” Acts 1:11

As a believer, what should you do in a season like this? Make Jesus known to others in every way possible. Speak about Him. Live like Him. Show love through giving to others for His name’s sake and let the people know that the love of Jesus compels you. Be joyful and be cheerful that you have Jesus and let people know it. Let them also know that the same Jesus is coming back but not as a savior but as a Judge of the world.

Have a joyful season in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let Jesus be preached through my daily life in Jesus name.

Spiritual reawakening 4

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God." Hebrews 12:2

At the center of spiritual awakening is Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. Are you feeling down spiritually? Are you feeling as if you are in a spiritual wilderness or desert? It is time to turn to the Lord Jesus who promised us the Holy Spirit that is to help us and comfort us. You can have your spiritual strength, fruits, and gifts back if you will keep your eyes on Jesus through His Holy Spirit. You can have the fire again.

“Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.” 2 Corinthians 3:16

“And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.” Acts 4:31

The disciples had the experience of the Holy Spirit many times in the book of Acts. Every time they needed spiritual awakening, they turned to the Lord, and He sent His Holy Spirit afresh on them. Let us turn to the Lord, even during this festive season and experience a reawakening. Let our burdens be taken away and let the joy of the Lord fill our hearts. Let the power of the Holy Spirit be at work in our lives again. And let us walk in the victory that Jesus purchased for us.

I see God lifting you up both spiritually and physically in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, fill my heart with your joy and my mouth with a song of victory in Jesus name.

Spiritual reawakening 3

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14

Nothing takes the place of genuine repentance in spiritual awakening. Sin matters matter. Jesus paid the price for our sins and made grace available to us. This grace is for both genuine repentance and to live above sin. We should not live like a dog who eats its vomit. We must forsake sin and cling to the righteousness in Christ Jesus. The physical church denominations might have changed and become worldly. The church of the bible has not changed. God knows those who are His.

“Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.” 2 Timothy 2:19

“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.” Psalms 51:10

Don’t say Pastor I am passing through many uncomfortable situations, stop talking about sin, write just words that will motivate me. Please note that I am not condemning you neither am I saying that you are experiencing a contrary situation because of sin. I am only calling all of us to repentance so that there will be a spiritual awakening and we can all receive the best of God. When God is for you, your situation will change for good. Resist the devil and whatever attack he has brought against you and he will flee from you.

I decree that this week shall be profitable for you in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, forgive me all my sins and cleanse me from all my iniquity in Jesus name.

Spiritual reawakening 2

“Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?" Psalm 85:6

The second step in spiritual awakening is a cry for revival.  Revival is needed when the first love is dying and the love for the things of God is getting cold. Revival is needed when other things are taking the place of God in our hearts. Revival is needed when the passion for soul-winning is gone and the fire of the Holy Spirit is dying. The enemy is pouring cold water upon many and this calls for an urgent revival.

“Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.” Revelation 2:4

“And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.” Mark 9:24

Can your present love for the Lord sustain the coming persecution? Is your faith growing to quench the dart of the enemy? Are your spiritual hears and eyes opened to receive from the Lord? Are you still passionate for the word of God and for a personal fellowship with God? Just like the man in Mark 9:24, we need to cry that God should help our unbelief and revive us again. We need to ask for an outpouring of His Spirit and power upon us. We need to ask for His move in our churches and all over the world.

Prayer for today: Oh God, send down revival and let it begin with me in Jesus name.

Spiritual reawakening 1

“Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit." John 3:5-6

Beloved, the Bible passages are being fulfilled in our presence, the sign is there that the end of the age is about to come. We all need to be spiritually awakened so that we shall be ready when God’s agenda for His own for such a time like this is being executed. The first step in spiritual awakening is a call back to bethel, our place of first encounter (Gen 35:3). The beginning of our encounter with Christ is our second birth experience. This is the experience that distinguishes our birth through our physical parents from our spiritual birth. Have you been born of the spirit and of the water? Have you been washed in the cleansing blood of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ? Without this experience, there is no spirit life.

“And let us arise, and go up to Bethel; and I will make there an altar unto God, who answered me in the day of my distress, and was with me in the way which I went.” Genesis 35:3

“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” John 1:12-13

What was your first experience when you encounter Christ? Can you revisit this and identify your present life with that encounter? Are you still living in the consciousness of that encounter? Are you confident that you are God’s own? These are a few of the questions that needed to be answered for spiritual awakening. Perhaps you are reading this message and you have not had an encounter with Christ, please invite Him into your life right now by praying the salvation prayer at the end of this message. May you not end up in eternal damnation in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, reveal to me whatever that needs to be changed for my life to be fit for your visitation in Jesus name.

Don’t turn back

“Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him" Hebrews 10:38

Hold tight to your dream. Hold tight to your vision. Don’t turn back. Your future is in your dream. Your future is in your vision. It does not matter what is happening right now. If you don’t turn back you shall get there. Stop listening to either the devil or the world. Listen to the word from the Lord, believe it, and run with it. What you are passing through right now is temporal. Don’t allow it to cause you to turn back.  Your future is ahead of you and not behind you.

“And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” Luke 9:62

“For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;” 2 Cor 4:17

Even if you are passing through the fire right now, don’t look back and don’t stop, the fire will soon be behind you. Don’t stop believing in God. Don’t look back, the direction of your looking is eventually the direction of your going. Press into the fulfilment of your dreams. You are not alone in this journey, don’t turn back. I see you pressing on and getting into the land of your fulfilment in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, help me to keep at it and take me in to my land of fulfillment in Jesus name.

Examine yourself

“Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?" 2 Cor 13:5

In exactly two weeks’ time, the year will be coming to an end, it is necessary for us to do a self-evaluation. First as a temporal being and second as an eternal being. Whatever we do in the present world will affect us in eternity, particularly our faith in Christ Jesus. We cannot really separate our temporal and eternal life from our faith in Christ Jesus. Anything that is not of faith is sin (Rom 14:23). We need to examine ourselves to be sure that we are in faith, and we are living and walking by faith in Christ Jesus.

“……..for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.” Romans 14:23b

“Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.” Hebrews 10:38

The faith in Christ is based on hearing His word and doing it. Are you hungry for the word of Christ? Are you passionate about living for Christ based on His word? Are you not also being carried away by the selfishness and worldliness of this end-time? If Christ should come today, will He find you faithful? These are a few of the questions that we need to ask ourselves so that at the end of the day, we will be found to qualify for His glory, both temporal and eternal. May His grace abound with you.

Prayer for today: Oh God, if I have been wrong in my ways, correct me, and make me strong for you all the days of my life in Jesus name.

Sharpen your dull axe

"Since a dull axe requires great strength, sharpen the blade. That's the value of wisdom; it helps you succeed." Ecc. 10:10 (New Living)

If you have been putting in more effort in your endeavors only to get little results, you may need to sharpen your axe. A dull axe requires more strength. A retreat, a short course, or training may be all you need to improve yourself and get better results. Learning empowers a man to do things differently to get better results.

“Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.” Matthew 13:52

“And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so.” 2 Kings 2:10

If you are struggling to achieve your goals or to get things done, there is something you don’t know. You need more information.  This may require you to understand the situation and develop the right questions. When you have the right questions, you can determine where you will get the right answers. If you develop yourself and become better, your results too will be better. There are answers also in the books. Reading can sharpen your axe. May you increase on every side in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh Lord lead me by the way I should go and make profit with my life in Jesus name.

Go forward

“And the Lord said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:” Exodus 14:15

God asked me to inform you to go forward. There may be red sea before you, go forward. There may be a Jericho wall before you, go forward. If you are ready and willing to go forward, God will take care of the red sea and the Jericho wall. If you make the move to go forward, He will instruct you and lead you to get through all barriers.

“The Lord our God spake unto us in Horeb, saying, Ye have dwelt long enough in this mount:” Deuteronomy 1:6

“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:32

You have dwelled long enough on this level go forward. There are better things ahead of you go forward, Stagnancy stinks go forward. Break free from whatever is holding you down and go forward. Three things are needed to enforce going forward: information, motivation, and action. Be motivated and take action now toward your next level. Read that book now. Do that fasting and prayer now. Call that wise friend now. Enroll for that course now. Start that ministry now. Start that business now. Start writing now. The list goes on……..If you want to see the results you have not seen before, you will have to do what you have not done before.

Receive the power to go forward in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I receive the wisdom and the power to go forward in every area of my life in Jesus name.

Be consistent, be persistent

“And he said, Take the arrows. And he took them. And he said unto the king of Israel, Smite upon the ground. And he smote thrice, and stayed.” 2 kings 13:18

If you believe in a course of action, do it over and over again, and do it until you get results. You may be seeking God in prayer, thinking to get an idea, or running with a vision. Do it consistently and persistently, and don’t relent until you get your breakthrough. When you get your breakthrough, set a higher goal, and go for it. If discouragement wants to set in for any reason, find a way to encourage yourself.

“And the man of God was wroth with him, and said, Thou shouldest have smitten five or six times; then hadst thou smitten Syria till thou hadst consumed it: whereas now thou shalt smite Syria but thrice.” 2 Kings 13:19

“And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?” Luke 18:7

Be ready for many attempts, refuse to give up, continue to develop yourself, and improve your skills and strategies. Eventually, you shall get there. Build your inner strength against temporary failure and setbacks.  That is what all champions do. That is what all winners do. Even if you have been winning, don’t stop doing what have been doing to win. I see you have a breakthrough testimony this week in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God open fresh doors of opportunities for me in Jesus name.

Idea is needed

“And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is?” Genesis 41:38

A creative idea is what you need to stand out. Wherever you find yourself, if you have creative ideas, you can rescue yourself, people, your company, or your business. If you have creative ideas, you cannot be side-lined in the race of life. As a believer, you have two major sources of ideas, the first is the Spirit of God in you, and the other is the power to think.

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” Genesis 1:1

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:2

You can see problems differently, if you allow them to provoke ideas in you. Any problem facing you is challenging you for a creative solution or an idea. Pray for an idea and think through for a breakthrough idea. The development we have in the world today came to us as one problem or the other. The creative solution developed by men brought the development. Perhaps you are facing financial difficulty or any other challenges, an idea is all you need to get over them. May breakthrough ideas flood your mind in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God open my mind to receive and conceive ideas in Jesus name.

Stop worrying!

“So my counsel is: Don’t worry about things—food, drink, and clothes. For you already have life and a body—and they are far more important than what to eat and wear.” Matthew 6:25 TLB

Jesus is saying to you to stop worrying. Most people are worried about financial issues. Others are worried about other life’s issues. King James Version of Matthew 6:25 used “thought” in place of “worry.” When you start thinking that the situation will get worse or that you are not going to make it, you start worrying. Worry is a misuse of your thought. Worrying is a product of a troubled mind. Worrying is a product of negative thoughts about your situation. If you direct the same thought positively, you will generate ideas that will bring you out of the situation.

“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.” John 14:1 KJV

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,” Ephesians 3:20 KJV

Let me share with you three antidotes to worry. The first is that believe in the Lord Jesus and in the ability that God has deposited in you to turn your situation around. The second is that begin to think positively and think through the situation. Lastly, pray through the situation. God can do more than your positive thoughts and prayers. I break the power of worry over you in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I break the hold of worry over my life, I receive divine intervention in my situation in Jesus name.

How do you see it?

“And David spake to the men that stood by him, saying, What shall be done to the man that killeth this Philistine, and taketh away the reproach from Israel? for who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?” 1 Samuel 17:26

The way you see your situation determines the result you will get. You can see your situation either from a positive point of view or a negative. You can see it as an opportunity or as a threat.  When David saw Goliath, he saw an opportunity and he went after him. Others saw Goliath as a threat and they ran from him. A half-full cup of water can look half empty to someone who is negative and sees his situation as a threat.

“And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.” Numbers 13:30

“Then said the Lord unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.” Jeremiah 1:12

Most breakthrough opportunities are wrapped up in one challenge or the other. You have got to use the goggle of the word of God and faith to see through it. When you do, God will help you and you will become better and stronger at the end of it. Unfortunately, only a few people see opportunities in adversities. Only two out of the twelve spies saw that they could conquer the giants and take the land. The other saw the situation as a threat and lost what God had given to them.  May your present situation bring you promotion in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Open my eyes Oh God to see opportunity in my adversity in Jesus name.

Define your fear and conquer it!

“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” 1 John 4:18

Why are you not taking steps on your goals? Is it the fear within or the fear without? Is it the fear of the known or the fear of the unknown? Is it the fear of a personality or the fear of a situation? Is it the fear of failure or the fear of success? If you can define your fear, you can conquer it. You need to know that the fear within is what paralyzes most people. The answer to fear within is perfect love, which I called a passion for your heart’s desire, which can cast out all fear. The passion within you must be stronger than the fear within or without you, otherwise, the fear will paralyze you.

“And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature. And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way.” Luke 19:3-4

“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” 1 John 4:4

Two things, the first is that if you have defined your fear, put down a strategy to conquer it like Zacchaeus did. He wanted to see Jesus, but he was of small stature and there was always a crowd around Jesus. He went ahead of the crowd, climbed on a sycamore tree. He did not only see Jesus, but he also hosted Him in his house. Secondly, recognize that God is in you and no fear can conquer you. I see you do great things with your goals in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I cast out the spirit of fear and I receive the spirit of passion for my goals in Jesus name.
