Programming the time and the season 2

“Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place; That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?” Job 38:12-13

If the wicked has taken over your time and season, I decree that the power of God shall shake them out of it in the name of Jesus. Beloved, you have to be in charge of the time and the season to be in charge of the happenings around you. You have what it takes to do so. You have the wisdom and the power of God through Christ Jesus. Jesus specifically told the disciple to go for power when they became concerned about the time of restoration. You can program the time and season to your favor by speaking to it in the name of Jesus

“When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and…….” Acts 1:6-8

“And Hezekiah answered, It is a light thing for the shadow to go down ten degrees: nay, but let the shadow return backward ten degrees.” 2 kings 20:10

God made the day to go back for Hezekiah’ sake. You have the power over time and season to influence it for your testimony. Learn to wake up early in the morning or to pray through the night to speak to the day. Also, learn to use the beginning of the month to speak to the month and the beginning of the year to speak to the year. If you take hold of your time and season in the name of Jesus, you will have a profitable and fruitful season.

May the program of the wicked be cancelled over your life in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, Let this time and season bring me remarkable progress in Jesus name.

Salvation: Lord Jesus, I believe in the forgiveness of sin and in the redemption from the power of darkness through your blood. I confess you as my Savior and Lord.  I invite you into my life to save my soul. Holy Spirit, come into my heart and make me what you want me to be. Thank you Lord for saving me in Jesus name.

Programming the time and the season 1

“Then spake Joshua to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon.” Joshua 10:12

The quality of a human’s life is determined by time and season. The productivity and fruitfulness of human being are time and season dependent. As a child of God, you must understand how to take charge of time and season to favor your life and your destiny.  What do you do when the stars have been programmed against you? What do you do when the season and time have been scheduled against you? You must understand your authority to change time and seasons.

“They fought from heaven; the stars in their courses fought against Sisera.” Judges 5:20

“Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” Ephesians 5:16

The evidence that time and season have been programmed against a person includes failure where success was guaranteed, frustration, disappointment, and others. Beloved the happening in nations does not determine the happening with you. You must take authority over time and seasons and speak to it until it obeys you and changes to favor you. Joshua took authority over the sun and the moon because this was needed to secure his victory. Don’t give any excuse for the enemy to continue to determine your fate using time and season.

May this time and season bring you progress and fulfilment in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, bless me and increase me in such a time like this in Jesus name.

Your true strength 6

“And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.” 1 Samuel 15:22

Your true strength is reflected in your capacity to obey God. Obedience to God gives you access to the best of God in life. Obedience to God makes you indomitable when the enemy attacks you. Obedience to God creates a safe zone for you in the midst of this tempestuous world. Obedience to God keeps you standing despite the storms of life. The wisest thing to do on earth is to obey God.

“Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.” Matthew 7:24-25

“And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.” 2 Corinthians 10:6

Beloved, what you do with God’s specific instructions for your life is what determines your strength in this world. The best thing that can happen to you is to hear God. The best thing you can do with it is to obey. If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.  If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.

May you live in obedience to God at all times in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, help me to live a life of total obedience to Your word in Jesus name.

Your true strength 5

“For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.” 2 Timothy 1:12

Your true strength is reflected in your capacity to trust God with your life. This is the consciousness of the presence of God with you and in you, which gives you boldness that it is going to be good come what may. This excludes worry and anxiety out of your life when in the midst of the storms of life. It gives you guarantee that the determinant of the outcome is your God and not the storm.

“For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:.” Job 19:25-26

“And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man's life among you, but of the ship………. Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.” Acts 27:22-25

Beloved, your future is predictable if God is with you and you know it. God will not only deliver you, He will establish and increase you. Your weeping may endure for a night, joy is guaranteed in the morning. Choose the company of those who trust God. They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever (Psalm 125:1).

May you be guided by your trust in God in every situation you find yourself in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, help me to trust you more and more in Jesus name.

Your true strength 4

“For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.” Philippians 2:13

Your true strength is reflected by how much of God you allow in your life. What God can do through you is more important than what you can do by yourself! Whose image are you projecting? Whose are you? The measure of your true strength is determined by your ability to lay down your strength and your weakness for God’s strength.

“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31

“And when Saul saw David go forth against the Philistine, he said unto Abner, the captain of the host, Abner, whose son is this youth? And Abner said, As thy soul liveth, O king, I cannot tell.” 1 Samuel 17:55

Let me shock you, the fact that you are not physically qualified does not mean that you cannot make things happen! You only need to know how to connect to God so that He can work through you. David was by no means a match for Goliath, he killed the giant nonetheless because God was working through him. Understanding the mystery of your redemption and the mystery of walking in the wisdom and the power of God is what cumulates in your strength on earth. You are gods. Greater is He that is in you. You have access to revelation and the mystery of His words. You can display the strength of God in every situation you find yourself in.

May you be an express image of the glorious God on earth in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, display your strength in me and through me in Jesus name

Your true strength 3

“But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.” Luke 22:26

Your true strength is reflected in your capability to serve. Your capability to make things happen for people around you and the community in which God has planted you. The real leaders are the people who serve others. Promotion, reward, leadership is handed over at the place of service. If you are too big to serve, you will be too small to lead. If you dodge service, you dodge the reward also.

“Then answered one of the servants, and said, Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, that is cunning in playing, and a mighty valiant man, and a man of war, and prudent in matters, and a comely person, and the Lord is with him.” 1 Samuel 16:18

“And the Lord was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.” Genesis 39:2

Let me ask you, can people count on you in your place of work? What are you doing for God in the church you attend? Or you are waiting until you become a Pastor? God will not call you unless he finds you faithful in service! There is a service whose reward is for eternity and that is the service that is connected with the redemption of the souls of men. May you find your place in this service.

May you receive grace to serve. May your service be rewarded in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Here I am, use me oh Lord, in Jesus name.

Your true strength 2

“Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.” Mathew 22:29

Your true strength is determined by the amount of information you have received and are willing to put to use. Your daily intake of knowledge determines your capacity to take what belongs to you. Be aggressive first for the word of God and then for useful information from men. You can never live beyond the level of information you have.

“But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” Mathew 4:4

“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” 1 John 4:4

You will always dominate whatever comes your way if you are adequately informed spiritually and intellectually. The measure of your strength is the adversity you are able to handle. If you have “swallowed” God, you can handle any situation. God dwells in us by His Word and His Spirit. You will be weak if you are waiting for a man of God to do what you are supposed to do. Sit down, work on your knowledge of God and the exploits He has done through men.

I see you growing in grace as you work on your knowledge of God.

Prayer for today: Show me your way Oh God, that I may be your instrument of exploits on earth in Jesus name.

Your true strength 1

“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” 1 Cor 10:13

Life is a school where adversity is a test. You only get promoted when you pass the test. The test that comes to you is a reflection of the class you are in. Just like high school tests are not administered to primary school students, you are not going to receive a test that is beyond you. If you are presently facing adversity, you have all it takes to pass through it successfully. Your adversity is an indication of your true strength. Beloved, whatever comes to you, you can handle, no matter how weak you think you are.

“If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.” Proverbs 24:10

“And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord.” Job 1:12

Perhaps you can look back and testify about some of the adversity of life you have overcome. You will discover that the first instrument at your disposal is the confidence that you will overcome no matter be the case. Devil will always want to steal your confidence by telling you that life is not fair, God is not fair, and should not have allowed it to come to you. But the truth is this, all things work together for your good if you belong to God. If you are in the midst of adversity right now, God asked me to tell you it is not more than you, you shall overcome in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I overcome all my adversity in Jesus name.

Don’t be distracted

“And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so.” 2 kings 2:10

This year can be the best year you have ever seen if you can handle distractions. Define clearly what you want to achieve this year, identify what you must do to achieve it (them), and do it. It does not matter how hard your desire seems to be if you can focus on the necessary actions you will achieve it. Elisha was told that what he wanted was hard to get but if he could see Elijah when he was been taken away, he would have it. Despite all the noise around him, including that of the sons of the prophet, Elisha focused and got what he wanted. I want to particularly tell you this morning that you should not be distracted by the noise of the pandemics, go for your goals in Jesus name.

“And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature. And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way.” Luke 19:3-4

“And as the king passed by, he cried unto the king: and he said, Thy servant went out into the midst of the battle; and, behold, a man turned aside, and brought a man unto me, and said, Keep this man: if by any means he be missing, then shall thy life be for his life, or else thou shalt pay a talent of silver. And as thy servant was busy here and there, he was gone. And the king of Israel said unto him, So shall thy judgment be; thyself hast decided it.” 1 Kings 20:39-40

The pandemics cannot stop you, in fact, nothing can stop you without your permission. Whatever that wants to distract you is a noise that you must deal with. Deal with your limitations, engage God all the way, get all the information you need, focus on your goal, and take timely actions. If it is in your heart, it can be done.  Zacchaeus focused on seeing Jesus despite all his limitations, he did not only see Jesus, he got Him into his house. May you get the best results and blessings out of this year in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, help me to handle all distractions and focus on what you have laid in my heart to do in Jesus name.

Ministry of the Spirit 5

“Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.” 2 Corinthians 3:6

The ministry of the Spirit gives life to the letter. Without the Spirit, the letter of the written word can kill!! Have you met anyone with the knowledge of the Bible without the Spirit? They misinterpret the scriptures to their own damnation. Check the Pharisees and the Sadducees in the bible. I once preached to an occult man who was quoting the scriptures to me. He even quoted from the book of Jasher. However, the written word has the same power as the spoken word when the ministry of the Spirit takes it over. The written word will change your life if taken over by the ministry of the Spirit.

“Is not my word like as a fire? saith the Lord; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces” Jeremaih 23:29

“And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed:  And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.,” Isaiah 29:11-12

Beloved, your access to the mysteries of God’s word does not depend on whether you are learned or not. It depends on your sensitivity and reception to the ministry of the Spirit. The Ethiopian eunuch could not understand the scriptures. He needed someone to explain the scripture to him. Fortunately for Him, the Holy Spirit brought Phillip to him. His life changed and he became a child of God (Acts 8:26-39). May you have access to the mysteries of the scriptures through the Holy Spirit in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let the letter of the written Word change my life by Your Spirit in Jesus name.

Ministry of the Spirit 4

“As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.” Acts 13:2

The ministry of the Spirit will separate you for your divine assignment. The ministry of the Spirit is what you need for the fulfilment of life and destiny in such a time like this. Maybe you don’t really know what to do with your life, the ministry of the Spirit will guide you and make you an instrument of honor in the hand of God. The keys that include ministering to the Lord in worship, fasting, and praying cannot be neglected if you want to enjoy the ministry of the Spirit. Seek God early this year, let the Spirit minister unto you giving you the vision and power that you need.

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,” Luke 4:18

“The hand of the Lord was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,” Ezekiel 37:1

Beloved, you are alive in the best time of God’s program for the universe. The reality of God’s purpose in your life is enforced by the empowerment of the Spirit. You may look ordinary and unimportant if you don’t have the ministry of the Spirit. Jesus was once a carpenter. David was once neglected in the bush. But the ministry of the Spirit brought them out. Ezekiel never knew he could be an instrument to raise dry bones to become an army of strong people until he encountered the ministry of the Spirit. I decree that your life shall have positive meanings in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let Your Spirit single me out for my divine purpose in Jesus name.

Ministry of the Spirit 3

“Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts. Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.” Zechariah 4:6-7

The ministry of the Spirit will remove the mountains that your physical strength cannot remove. The ministry of the Spirit will remove your bondage and end your affliction. When the Spirit moves, a yoke breaking, burden removing power of God is generated called the anointing. This is similar to the electromotive force that is generated when current flows from one point to another. You just need to plug yourself into the flow of the Spirit and enjoy what only God can do.

“And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?” Mark 5:29-30

“And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.” Isaiah 10:27

Some time ago a child of one of our church members was sick and admitted to the hospital. The child could not eat and seemed to be getting worse. An operation was scheduled to put a hole in her throat. I was in the office one Sunday afternoon and I heard God that I should go there to pray for her. I went there, laid my hand on her, and the power of God moved through her, she was instantly healed. She was discharged the same day the operation was to take place. Beloved may you experience the ministry of the Spirit to defeat any mountain confronting you in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God let Your Spirit break my yokes and terminate my afflictions in Jesus name.

Ministry of the Spirit 2

“And the Spirit of the Lord will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man. And let it be, when these signs are come unto thee, that thou do as occasion serve thee; for God is with thee.” 1 Samuel 10:6-7

Are you feeling weak and incapacitated to do what God has laid on your heart to do? Do you feel inadequate to execute the vision in your heart? What you need is the ministry of the Spirit that will change you into another man and empower you to do what fits the situation around you. The Spirit of God upon you is the seal of God’s presence with you and divine empowerment to turn your failure situation into a success. The ministry of the Spirit is what you need as a Christian to dominate in such a time as we are.

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Acts 1:8

“But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.” Acts 6:4

Saul was the tallest man in Israel and he was chosen by God to be the first king of Israel. However, despite his physical qualifications, he needed the ministry of the Spirit to take the throne and be effective. The Spirit would change him to another man and made him free to do whatever he wanted to do. The disciples gave themselves to the ministry of the word and prayer. This is the activator of the ministry of the Spirit that empowered them to change the world of their days. Just do the same, give yourself to prayer and the word, then you will encounter the ministry of the Spirit for the fulfilment of your destiny.

Prayer for today: Oh God let Your Spirit come upon me and turn me into another man in Jesus name.

Ministry of the Spirit 1

“And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak unto thee.  And the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spake unto me.” Ezekiel 2:2

You are about to be lifted up by the ministry of the Spirit. You will be set upon your feet in every area of your life by the power of the Holy Spirit. You have struggled long enough, God is about to give you speed by the ministry of His Spirit. If you believe this say Amen. The ministry of the Spirit gives power to the ministry of the Word. You cannot have access to the Word without the Spirit. It is the combination of the Word and the Spirit that brings the supernatural. This is the key to distinction in the time we are in.

“And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.” Luke 4:14

“And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:” 1 Corinthians 2:4

Now hear this, the ministry of the Word precedes the ministry of the Spirit. You must have received God’s word for His Spirit to rest upon you. Jesus the Word Himself was an ordinary man until the Spirit came upon Him. It is important for you to ask God for access to the mysteries of His word and the release of His Spirit to experience a supernatural turnaround in your life. I ask that the Word of the Lord come unto you and the Spirit of the living God rest upon you for the fulfilment of your destiny in Jesus name. Get ready for divine lifting this week in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God lift me up and let me stand in every area where I have struggled in Jesus name.

I shall not die

“I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” Psalm 118:17

The world has become more than a valley of the shadow of death, but a valley of death as a result of COVID19 pandemic. However, the word of God has promised us a long life. I decree that you shall not die, but live to declare the work of the Lord in Jesus name. I decree that the Lord shall satisfy you with long life and show you His salvation even in a time like this. Let the power of God terminate COVID19 all over the world in Jesus name. It is important for us to believe and declare God’s word even as we ask for God’s mercy to stop the hands of the enemy upon our nations.

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” Psalm 23:4

““With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.”  Psalm 91:16

The Psalmist spoke about fear, and also the antidote, which is His staff and His rod. The staff indicates authority while the rod is a symbol of instruction and correction.  Beloved, we have God’s authority over death and we also have His instructions from His word that can guide us in such a time like this to overcome death and the fear of it. Four things are important. The first is that fear not, never entertain fear. The second is that take all the precautions to physically protect yourself. The third one is that declare the promises of God, and lastly ask for God’s mercy.

Prayer for today: We break the power of death over our lives, our families, and our nations in Jesus name.

God cannot lie

“God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” Numbers 23:19

God cannot lie and will not lie. His promises are yes and amen. His instructions are your light. The scriptures contain His promises and instructions for your life and destiny. If you believe them and receive them, you will walk in them. Now hear this, when what God has said is contrary to your situation, believe God’s promises and doubt your situation. For example, God has promised to heal you, believe His promises, and receive your healing, no matter how you are feeling in your body. He has promised to prosper you, believe and receive your prosperity, no matter your financial situation.

“Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, if the Lord would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.” 2 Kings 7:2

“God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.” Romans 3:4

Two major blessings you will need from God apart from the blessing of salvation is sound health and prosperity. God’s word covers you for both. It does not matter what your present situation is, hold unto His promises and experience them. It may be difficult to believe sometimes because of the prevailing situation but God cannot and will not lie. The king’s servant in 2 Kings 7 doubted because he thought God could lie, he missed one of the greatest miracles that God wrought for His people in the bible.

May you experience all of God in your life and destiny in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, bless me with sound health and prosperity in Jesus name.

Dealing with lying spirits 2

“Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” John 8:44

For any reason, you will be lied to.  This is because lying spirits are end-time spirits. Although they have been around for a long time, they are more aggressive now. They are satan’s weapon in this end-time. They are very active among us. Lying spirits are satan’s weapons to steal, to kill, and to destroy. The overall intention of the devil is to lure men into eternal damnation. You must not allow them to use you if you want to deal with them. Don’t be a liar.

“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.” Matthew 24:24

“So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” Revelation 12:9

Lying spirits will make you do what you don’t want to do or you are not supposed to do. They want to harm you. To deal with them you need to be more prayerful. Don't be in a hurry to make decisions that will affect you. If any information looks too good to believe, find out more about it. Don't be greedy. Don't make important decisions under pressure. If you have a doubt, give it time. A wise investment of time in most cases will expose them. If Isaac had given his doubt some time, Jacob’s lies would have been exposed (Gen 27). And don’t forget this, do not be a liar yourself. May God deliver you from agents of lies in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, deliver me from the lying spirits and the liars in Jesus name.

Dealing with lying spirits 1

“Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” John 8:44

You cannot be in any bondage unless you have been lied to, and you accept and believe the lies. The devil is the father of lies. His greatest weapon is to twist the truth and lie. He lies to bring his victims into perpetual bondage, fear, disharmony with God, and eventually death. Many destinies have been captured by his lies. Unfortunately, he uses people, and he can use anyone that is available. You must desire to know and walk in truth whether it is sweet or bitter, if you want to deal with lying spirts.

“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:32

“Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?” Genesis 3:1

Beloved, there are so many lies around us. Any word, no matter how sweet it sounds that is contrary to God’s word is a lie. We are in a world of words. Our first strength against the lying spirits is our knowledge of God’s word. If you know what God is saying, you dwell in the light. Lying spirits dwell in the darkness and they are exposed by the light. May the lies and liars assigned against you be exposed and be disgraced in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, deliver me from the lying spirits and the liars in Jesus name.

When you ask questions

“And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.” Acts 9:6

Whenever you have an opportunity to ask questions, ask questions that will help you to believe God and not to doubt Him.  God is not affected by your unbelief, but you are. God is moved by your faith but He is hindered by your doubt. Your faith commits God. Instead of questioning God, believe Him and live. The world is on certain agenda and only what the scriptures revealed can be understood. You only need to find out what God has for you since you are alive in such a time like this, and believe Him. Do not allow the devil to use what is going on in the world to bring you to his side against God.

“When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? Acts 1:5

“I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.” Habakkuk 2:1

There are many questions about the happenings in the world that we will never find answers to. It is better to keep our hearts on making the best of our lives and fulfilling our destinies. No matter be the case, God is on our side, He loves us and He is there to help us. When the disciple asked Jesus about the time of restoration, He simply told them not to worry about that but they should get busy with their assignments. I decree that your life will be good despite what is going on in the world in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, I commit my life into Your hand as clay in the hands of the potter, make me the best in all things in such a time like this in Jesus name.

More important than food

“Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.” Job 23:12

Food is important, but there is something more important than food. It is the spoken word of God. If you have Him, you cannot lack physical food. If you have Him you cannot be wasted. Physical food empowers you to be human while spiritual food, the spoken word of God empowers you to be a god. This is the secret behind the supernatural life.  Most people are looking for physical food, they are like Martha in Luke 10. They are careful and troubled with many things. However, it is important to take the good part, the living bread, the spoken word of God to live above all forms of death that are in this dark world (John 6:50).

“If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken.” John 10:35

“But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” Matthew 4:4

Stop asking for physical food in prayer, ask for the spiritual food that will give you the physical food. Let God give you a divine idea. Ask God to speak to you. Ask Him to lead you by the way you should go. Ask Him to give you a word and a promise that will sustain you in such a time like this. Ask Him to open the written word, the Bible to you so that you can receive the spoken word. Ask Him to grant you access into His secrets so that you can wash your steps in butter and the rock can pour a river of oil for you. May the word of God come unto you in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let Your word come unto me in Jesus name.
