His presence

“And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.” Exodus 33:14 (KJV)

The presence of the Lord will give you rest in this tempestuous world. You esteem His presence above all other things in the world. Don’t go through this world without God’s presence. In this dispensation, His presence is not only with us but also in us through the indwelling Holy Spirit. David, as mighty as he was, cried out, "Do not cast me away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me." Joseph said, "How can I do this and sin against God?" Do not despise the presence of God. It is your only security in this wicked world.

“Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.” Psalm 51:11-12

“There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” Genesis 39:9

If you know the value of His presence, you will cry out for it and not despise it. Samson said, “I will go out as before, at other times, and shake myself free!” But he did not know that the Lord had departed from him. His exploit was because the presence of the Lord was with him. As the new month begins, may His presence go with you. May you experience new and more incredible testimonies in Jesus' name. Ask God to be with you and in you in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let your presence be with me every day of my life in Jesus' name.

Salvation: Lord Jesus, I believe in the forgiveness of sin and in the redemption from the power of darkness through your blood. I confess you as my Savior and Lord.  I invite you into my life to save my soul. Holy Spirit, come into my heart and make me what you want me to be. Thank you Lord for saving me in Jesus name.

The Secret Place

“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalms 91:1 (KJV)

The secret place of the highest is where destiny is serviced, the future is secured, and victory and prosperity are activated. No Christian can survive the end time without the secret place. The voice of the Lord, His guidance, direction, and anointing, is available in the secret place. If you don’t set aside time to meet with God in the secret place you will be in danger of the arrows that fly both in the day and in the night, and your Christian life will be shaky.

“And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.” Luke 5:16

“As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?” Psalm 42:1-2

If Jesus needed the secret place, I can assure you, you cannot make it without it. You will be a toothless lion Christian if you don’t have a secret place with the Lord. Your life cannot be different from those who are not in covenant with God without the secret place. The secret place is where you talk to the Lord and listen to Him. It is the place where Christian champions are made. It is the evidence of your passion and love for the Lord and His presence.

You will not be a powerless Christian in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let me hunger and thirst for your presence daily in my life in Jesus' name.

Victorious Christian Life 3

““Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.” Matthew 7:24-25 (NKJV)

A victorious Christian life is a life of obedience:  obedience to both the written and spoken word of God. This is the wisdom for victorious Christian living: Do whatever He tells you (John 2:5). The victorious Christian life does not mean that challenges will not come; rather, it means that no matter the challenge, you will be on top. It also means that you will live the way you should, no matter what is happening around you. You will do well in the midst of scarcity. You live healthy in the midst of sickness and disease. You will be peaceful in the midst of battles. This is guaranteed if you can hear God and obey him.

“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,  casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.” 2 Corinthians 10:4-6

“Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” James 4:7-8

Knowing the word and the voice of the Lord is the foundation of victorious Christian living. You cannot follow God and the world at the same time. This is the difference between church attendees and those who have had an encounter with the Lord. If you willfully choose your way against the Lord, your way will be hard. But if you choose the way of the Lord, you will live in victory.

May you live in obedience in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let your wisdom and your grace be enthroned in every area of my life in Jesus' name.

Victorious Christian life 2

“And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck.” Genesis 27:40

Yesterday, I explained that a victorious Christian life is both a life in the spirit and a life of faith. Today I want to explain that the victorious Christian life is a life of dominion and not a life of servitude. Every Christian is expected to be a believer and not a doubter of the word and the power of God. Every believer has been given authority over all contrary spirits and situations. You have to exercise your dominion from the perspective of a victorious Christian.

“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Mark 16:17-18

“And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Matthew 16:19

If you operate in the dominion that you have, then you cannot be harassed and you cannot live in fear. You cannot have dominion and live a defeated life.  You must carry the mentality of a king; your word carries power (Ecclesiastes 8:4). What you permit happens, what you don’t permit does not happen. This makes you to be in charge. This makes you walk in victory.

You have dominion, use it in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: I take authority over all contrary spirits in my environment, I bind them and I cast them out in Jesus' name.

Victorious Christian life 1

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” 1 John 5:4

There are two kinds of birth: physical birth and spiritual birth. Physical birth comes as a result of a union between a woman and a man. The Bible calls it being born of flesh and blood. Living in the flesh is subject to all manner of defeats. Spiritual birth comes as a result of being born of God: of water and of the spirit. Living by the spirit brings victory (Romans 8:6). Every true Christian has experienced a spiritual birth. Every victorious Christian lives in the reality of faith.

“For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.” Romans 1:17

“And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.” Daniel 11:32

The evidence of being born of God is victorious living—victory over sin, satan and the world. This victory is not actually possible until a Christian walks in the reality of faith (1 John 5:4). You must understand this position of victory and walk in it. This is both a perspective and a mentality. You must carry this mentality and perspective every day and confront whatever the enemy throws at you with the conviction that you have victory over him.

I decree that the last defeat you experienced shall be the last forever, in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Let the mind of the victorious Christian be in me in Jesus' name.

Light from heaven

“And it came to pass, that, as I made my journey, and was come nigh unto Damascus about noon, suddenly there shone from heaven a great light round about me. And I fell unto the ground, and heard a voice saying unto me, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?” Acts 22:6-8

Beloved, never accept defeat in any situation as long as you are alive. All situations are subject to change. Seasons change, and challenges fizzle out. Having said that, you need to move in the direction of light from heaven. Don’t move away from the light, no matter what faces you. You cannot receive the light and remain the same. You cannot receive the light and still dwell in obscurity. For Saul, who later became Paul, there was nothing that could change him except the light from heaven. No hardened situation can withstand a light from heaven.

“The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it hath lighted upon Israel.” Isaiah 9:8

“Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron: Until the time that his word came: the word of the Lord tried him. The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free.” Psalms 105:18-20

Light from heaven is the same as the word of the Lord entering into you. It is also the same as the word of the Lord coming to you. At the appearance of light from heaven, chains are broken, yokes are destroyed, and difficult and impossible situations experience remarkable change. I decree that you will receive the light from heaven over all challenging situations in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, send your light in Jesus' name.

How to change your thinking

“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.” Proverbs 23:7

If you don't like the fruit you are bearing with your life, you have to change your thinking.  The question is, how do you think of abundance in the midst of scarcity? How do you think sound health in the midst of sickness? How do you think success in the midst of failure? You can change your thinking by feeding your mind with the word of God. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Meditate on the word until you begin to think like God.

“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” Romans 12:2(NLT)

“Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.” Joshua 1:8

You cannot be casual about what you feed your mind; unfortunately, most people are. This is the reason why their mind is feeble and they are not getting the right fruit in their lives. Be deliberate and intentional about what you read, watch, or listen to. If you desire a thing, if you can conceive and believe it, nothing can stop you from achieving it (Genesis 11:6, Mark 9:23). Get your mind into the scriptures without distraction until you change your thinking.

You have the mind of Christ to think like Him in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let my mind be fruitful and profitable in Jesus' name.

Taking your portion 3

“Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.” Isaiah 48:17

Submit yourself to both God’s teaching and leading. You cannot afford to be ignorant, nor can you afford to be confused if you desire to take your portion. If you know what you should know, the devil cannot hold unto what belongs to you. If you submit yourself to God, you can take control over the devil (James 4:7). God knows all things, think about the fact that He taught Peter how to fish. One instruction from God will change your life forever.

“And David enquired at the Lord, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.” 1 Samuel 30:8

“But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.” 1 Corinthians 2:7-8

God is the best strategist when it comes to recovery, so you cannot learn from Him and fail to take your portion. Don’t go to church to only dance, deliberately listen to hear God. When you are taught, you gain wisdom and understanding. Read books, and meditate on the word of God. Watch and listen to God’s word on every available medium. If you do, you will be confident and have a direction for your life.

Take what belongs to you in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, teach me to profit and lead me by the way I should go in Jesus' name.

Taking your portion 2

“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.” Ephesians 1:17-18

You will not be able to take the portion the devil stole with the wisdom of men; you need the wisdom of God. Fortunately for all believers in Christ, we have access to this wisdom. You can always get it by asking, by meditating on God’s word, or by receiving the spirit of wisdom.

“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.” James 1:5-6

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua 1:8

Your age or sex does not matter, you can take your portion and even possess the inheritance that the devil stole from you. You cannot operate in the wisdom and the power of God and not experience the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints. Stop worrying about what the enemy has done or is doing. Go for the wisdom and the power of God, and you will take what belongs to you (1 Samuel 30).

You are blessed in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: I receive the wisdom and the power of God in Jesus' name.

Taking your portion 1

“He swallows down riches. And vomits them up again; God casts them out of his belly.” Job 20:15NKJV

All of the material blessings that most Christians are praying for are no longer with God. They were released a long time ago, but most are trapped in the second heaven by the power of darkness. Wisdom and power are needed for the power of darkness to release them. You must break the power of the devil over your portion and take it. The fact that wrestling is needed for you to possess your possession cannot be overemphasized. But God is not in opposition to you, Satan and his hosts are. I am glad to announce to you that since God is for you, no power of darkness can succeed against you.

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12

“Then he said to me, “Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia.” Daniel 10:12-13

I think wrestling is both ruleless and strategic at the same time. However, spiritual stamina is key to winning against spiritual enemies. Be willing to stay in God’s presence, just like Daniel did, until you cause the enemy to release your portion. Your spiritual advantage as a New Testament believer is the fact that you can bind satan and his host of darkness (Matthew 16:19). And when you use this authority, you can take your portion (Matthew 12:29).

May you take your portion in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: I break the power of the enemy over my portion, and I take my portion in Jesus' name.

I am grateful, Oh Lord

“What shall I render to the Lord. For all His benefits toward me? I will take up the cup of salvation,

And call upon the name of the Lord.” Psalm 116:12-13

As I celebrate my birthday today, the word “gratitude” keeps ringing in my heart, more so because we receive daily benefits from the Lord. The benefits of being alive, the benefits of provision, security, and protection, and more importantly, the benefits that we enjoy because we are in covenant with God. God is saying to us that we should not wait for any special day to express our gratitude to Him. We must be grateful each and every day.

“Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits, The God of our salvation! Selah.” Psalms 68:19

“Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul,

And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,” Psalms 103:1-3

Gratitude is expressed through thanksgiving, praise, and worship. These are keys to accessing God (Psalm 100). They are keys to engaging God in our battles (2 Chronicles 20, Psalm 149, Acts 16:25-26). They position us to receive more blessings from God. Let your thanksgiving be longer than asking. Whether you feel like it or not, no matter what you are going through, be grateful.

May your heart be full of God’s praise in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, I am grateful in Jesus' name.

Secrets of Miracle 3

“If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;” John 10:35

You cannot hear God, obey Him, and not walk in miracles. If you receive a revelation from God over a situation, you become “god” over the situation. You cannot hear God and still be a fool, unless you neglect what God says to you. The word of God is the basis for winning faith. The greatest thing that can happen to a man in this world is for him to hear God and be anointed by the Holy Spirit.

“He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.” 1 Kings 18:46

“The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.” Psalms 119:130

God has so many channels through which He can communicate with us, but the foundation of it all is the written word, the Bible. If the Bible is unlocked and opened for you, you will have revelation from God and walk in miracles. The Bible is sealed; only the blood of Jesus removed the seal. Ask God to grant you access to the mystery of His word.

May the word of the Lord come to you in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Send me a word for my life and destiny, Oh God, in Jesus' name.

Secrets of Miracle 2

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” Genesis 1:1-2

There is a song in my local language, which in English, is as follows, “The Power of the Holy Spirit enters into my life and performs wonders. Is there anything too difficult for our God? All things are possible with our God.” The truth is that there is no necessary and needed miracle in your life that the Holy Spirit cannot perform.

“And the hand of the Lord was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.” 1 Kings 18:46

“And when he came unto Lehi, the Philistines shouted against him: and the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon him, and the cords that were upon his arms became as flax that was burnt with fire, and his bands loosed from off his hands.” Judges 15:14

The greatest need of any man who is in any kind of trouble is the Holy Spirit. Fortunately, Jesus has assigned Him to us. So if you reach out to Him, He will help you and give you a miracle. If you are dealing with situations that have persisted and resisted all your efforts, ask that the fire of the Holy Spirit fall on you. Perhaps you need a miracle right now, ask the Holy Spirit to help you.

Your help is right within and around you in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Holy Spirit, overshadow me in Jesus' name.

Secrets of miracle 1

“And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.” Luke 1:35

The first miracle secret I want to share with you is the Holy Spirit. If you want to walk in miracles or the supernatural, you must relate to the Holy Spirit as a person. The Holy Spirit speaks, hears, anoints, and empowers. The Holy Spirit teaches, comforts, and helps. The Holy Spirit can be grieved. The Holy Spirit is the third person in the Trinity, and He is responsible for the power of God. When the Holy Spirit moves, supernatural power is generated. It was He who gave Mary the Virgin the power to conceive supernaturally.

“And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;  Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.” John 14:16-17

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Acts 1:8

As a believer in Christ, you must be filled with the Holy Spirit and power. You must fellowship with the Holy Spirit and learn to hear His voice. He will anoint you and give you supernatural gifts. He will lead you in the right direction and teach you to walk in the supernatural.

Receive the Holy Spirit in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Holy Spirit, fill me and empower me in Jesus' name.

Authority of believers

“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Luke 10:19

Only believers in Christ can stop satan and his agents in this dark world. We have been given power and authority over serpents and scorpions. Our authority is backed up by the Word of God, the power of the Holy Ghost, and the name of Jesus. The authority of the believers is the power delegated to us by God. This is what gives us dominion over the power of darkness and its work.

“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Mark 16:17-18

“Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.” Job 22:28

This authority is exercised by speaking. We decree in the name of Jesus, and we see results. This authority is also backed up by the spirit of faith, so when we speak, we do not doubt. The degree of our authority is enhanced by the time we spend with Jesus and our obedience to His will (Acts 4:13, John 15:7, 2 Tim 1;7, Matthew 8:8-10). Stop weeping or complaining, but start exercising your authority over the works of darkness in Jesus' name.

Your mountain is making way for your breakthrough in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: I receive the power and authority given to me by God, in Jesus' name.

What do you seek?

“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.” Matthew 7:7-8

There are three universal laws spoken by our Lord Jesus Christ in our text this morning, but I want to emphasize one of them: Everyone who seeks, finds. Whether consciously or unconsciously, everyone is seeking something. What is in your life today is evidence of what you sought yesterday. I want you to consciously seek God today. If you seek God, you will find Him. If you find God, you will find everything else.

“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33

Please read the account of the conversation between our Lord Jesus Christ and the Samaritan woman in John 4. The woman sought the water that she would drink and be thirsty again. However, Jesus offered her living water. This water shall become a well of water springing up into everlasting life in the life of the person who received it. This is the life of a man who has received a word from the Lord and is full of His Spirit. Beloved, prioritize the word of God in your life and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit. This is an indicator of seeking God. And you can be assured that you will surely find him.

May you encounter the living God in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, reveal yourself to me in a dimension I have never known before, in Jesus' name.

Shepherd of my soul

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” Psalms 23:1

Do you remember the song by Integrity's Hosanna! Music and Marty Nystrom titled, “Shepherd of My Soul.” The first stanza says, “Shepherd of my soul, I give You full control; Wherever You may lead I will follow: I have made the choice to listen for Your voice; Wherever You may lead I will go.” If you choose to listen to God’s voice and obey, there is no mountain so mighty or a valley so dark and deep that you will not overcome. Only the sheep without shepherds are in danger.

“Then he said, I did see all Israel scattered upon the mountains, as sheep that have no shepherd: and the LORD said, These have no master; let them return therefore every man to his house in peace.” 2 Chronicles 18:16

“And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Matthew 4:19

Beloved, there is always a way out of all situations. If you see yourself as a sheep, and the Lord as your shepherd, your victory is guaranteed in all challenges. This is the answer to divine provision, security, and protection. This is the answer to known and unknown battles. No matter what you are going through, listen to what the Shepherd has to say and obey.

May God lead you always in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, shepherd my soul in Jesus name.

Still on favour…

“And the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians.” Exodus 12:36

Recovery is not possible without favour.  Dis-favour is one of the greatest instruments the enemy uses to rob people of their destinies. Dis-favour is a curse, favour is a blessing. No one can make it in life without favour. At any breakthrough in life, favour must show up, otherwise, the breakthrough will be truncated. Progressive life is sustained by an increase in favour. I decree that the favour you need for a change of season and status be released upon you in Jesus name.

“For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.” Psalms 44:3

“I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.” Luke 2:52 NIV

Basically, when a man works himself to become relevant, he should enjoy favour. You are skilful and useful, or you do your best to contribute to others and the community in which you find yourself. However, favour is not fair, just as in life, dis-favour is not fair. This is where your relationship with God counts. If God is at work in your life, you will be surrounded by favour.

May God's favor cause the restoration of all that you have lost in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, envelope me in your favour in Jesus name.

You shall find favor with God

“And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favor with God.” Luke 1:30

Mary found favor with God, and good things happened to her. Her fear was taken away. The need to fear will be completely gone when a man finds favor with God. The angel told Mary not to fear because she had found favor with God. She was visited by an angel and received a word from the Lord. When a man finds favor with God, he gains access to specific words for his destiny. That was what happened to Mary; she heard God speak through the angel about a specific assignment that God had for her. What she did not have does not matter. She told the angel that she did not have any man and that what the angel was saying would be difficult. But the angel told her that the Holy Spirit would take over. You see, when you find favor with God, what you have or do not have is not a factor; you will be helped by the power of God to deliver the expected results. She received the divine ability to conceive and deliver supernaturally. A lot of people are roaming the face of the earth, not knowing what they should do with their lives. No goal, no vision, no ambition. When a man receives favor from God, he will become pregnant with something that is beyond his abilities, and he will also be helped to make it happen. That was what happened to Mary, she was able to conceive supernaturally and deliver safely. She receives favors from men. First, Elizabeth visited her, and when she delivered, wise men came from the east to give the child gifts. When a man finds favor with God, he will also receive the favors of men.

“Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield.” Psalm 5:12 NIV

“And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.” Luke 2:52 NIV

Beloved, may you find favor with God in this season and always in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, be with me, let me be highly favored and let me be blessed among men in Jesus name.

Biblical principles of success 8

And he made in Jerusalem engines, invented by cunning men, to be on the towers and upon the bulwarks, to shoot arrows and great stones withal. And his name spread far abroad; for he was marvellously helped, till he was strong.” Leviticus 17:11

You need people's skills to succeed in life. You cannot succeed without people. At any point in time, you will have people lower than you, equal with you, and greater than you. Each one of them has a role to play in your success. You may be able to travel fast alone, but you cannot travel far alone. You have to attract the right people into your life. You are as strong as the network of support you have. More importantly, you must have the skill to deal with different kinds of people.

“And she said unto her husband, Behold now, I perceive that this is an holy man of God, which passeth by us continually. Let us make a little chamber, I pray thee, on the wall; and let us set for him there a bed, and a table, and a stool, and a candlestick: and it shall be, when he cometh to us, that he shall turn in thither.” 2 Kings 4:9-10

“Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.” Matthew 7:12

You can overcome any limitation or survive any attack if you have the right people around you. You must be able to perceive them and invite them into your life. You must imbibe the principle of putting yourself in the shoes of others. Also, communicate your dream clearly and be a source of help to others.

May you be surrounded by destiny helpers in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, give me the wisdom to relate with people and put them where they belong in my life, in Jesus name.

The blood has a voice

For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.” Leviticus 17:11

Just as the life of the flesh is in the blood, so is the voice of the flesh. This means that the blood has a voice. The message of the blood is the message of the person who carries the blood. The power of the voice of the blood depends on whose blood it is. The blood of Abel spoke vengeance, but the blood of Jesus speaks forgiveness, deliverance, and holiness. The blood of Jesus is more powerful than any other person’s blood. There is power in the blood of Jesus. The voice of the blood of Jesus is powerful enough to neutralize every blood speaking against you. Not only that, the blood can fortify you against the attacks of the enemy.

“But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,…. And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.” Hebrews 12:22-24

“Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:” Colossians 1:13-14

When you invoke the blood of Jesus, you get access to Zion, where there is an innumerable company of angels, deliverance, holiness, and breakthrough. You can expect angelic dispatch to your situation when the blood speaks. You can also expect deliverance, holiness, and breakthrough when the blood speaks to your life. Let the blood speak deliverance, healing, and breakthrough into your life. Let the blood of Jesus neutralize every voice that is against you. Let the blood speak termination to your affliction and a new beginning for your life and destiny in Jesus name.

The blood is speaking for you and not against you!

Prayer for today: I ask the Blood to speak restoration into all areas of my life. Let the Blood speak destruction into the camp of my enemies. Let the Blood speak healing to my body. Let the Blood speak life into every good thing that is dead in my life in Jesus name.

Enforce the finished work

“Since you died with Christ to the elemental spiritual forces of this world, why, as though you still belonged to the world, do you submit to its rules:” Colossians 2:20 (NIV)

Nothing pleases the devil more than for a child of God to still live in sin, sickness, poverty, curses, and evil covenants. These issues were dealt with on the cross. The devil knows that it was finished on the cross. When a child of God fails to enforce the finished work of the cross, Satan rejoices. He knows that such a Christian is making the work of the cross to be of no effect. Beloved, Jesus set you free on the cross, you cannot be bound. Enforce the victory given to you at the cross by believing and declaring it until you see results that are commensurate with the finished work of the cross.

“For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.” 1 Corinthians 1:17-18

“We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;” 2 Corinthians 4:13

Satan will not just work away, he will want to know first, if you really understand your position in Christ and, secondly, if you can appropriate the finished work on the cross. He will throw all manner of things against you. But you must be bold and reject whatever is not part of the covenant in your life. Reject sin, affliction, sickness, poverty, retrogression, curses, demonic covenants, and such things as that. God is happy to see the victorious saint putting the devil where he belongs.

Jesus set you free on the cross of Calvary; you cannot be bound in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I enforce the victory Jesus purchased for me in every area of my life in Jesus name.

The cross of Jesus Christ

“For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.” 1 Corinthians 1:17-18

The cross of Jesus Christ is the defeat of the power of hell and death. The resurrection of Jesus is the release of power (Rev 1:128). The cross was the greatest mistake of the kingdom of darkness and the mystery of victory for all believers. When Jesus died on the cross, every believer died with Him. When He was buried, we were buried with Him. And when he resurrected, we resurrected with Him. The newness of life is not possible without the cross of Christ and His resurrection. If you catch this revelation, there is nothing the devil did against you that you cannot undo.

“Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:” Romans 6:4-5

“Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.” Matthew 16:24

Beloved, the cross also gives us responsibility. A responsibility to discipline ourselves, carry our cross, and follow Jesus. He said if we follow Him, He will make us fishers of men (Matthew 4:19). You cannot follow Jesus and the world at the same time. He also said that His yoke is easy and His burden is light (Matthew 11:28–30). The discipline to follow Christ is the pathway to realizing in our lives the finished work on the cross.

May you follow Jesus with all your heart in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, do not let the death of Christ be in vain in my life, in Jesus name.

The last word

“When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.” John 19:30

Jesus spoke seven words on the cross of Calvary, which have significant meanings and interpretations, but I want to briefly say something about the last word: It is finished. You will notice that Jesus received the vinegar and then declared that it was finished before giving up the ghost. The Lord dealt the last blow on all the troubles we would go through in life before giving up the ghost on the cross of Calvary. The vinegar, He received stands for our troubles, our challenges, and the attacks that the enemy would bring to us. But beloved, I am happy to tell you that Jesus received and swallowed them, then declared it was finished, so that you and I can be sure that no matter what we go through, our victory was determined over 2000 years ago.

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” 1 John 5:4

Beloved, I don’t care to know what you are presently going through, but I care to announce to you that you will come out victorious because of what Jesus did and said last before dying on the cross of Calvary. Don’t give up, keep pushing, your victory is sure.

May you experience victory in every area of your life in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: I claim the finished work of Christ in my life, in Jesus name.

Jesus our Passover lamb

“Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.” 1 Corinthians 5: 7-8

Yesterday, I spoke about Jesus being our sacrificial lamb. Today I want to talk about Jesus being our Passover lamb. However, when we talk about the lamb, we should also talk about the feast. The Passover is not complete without the feast. The lamb was killed, and its blood was put on the upper doorpost of the house. The lamb was then roasted as part of the feast. The feast is made up of roasted meat, unleavened bread, and the bitter herb. The feast of the unleavened bread is a call to all Christians to a life of sincerity and truth. We must all forsake malice and wickedness and be sincere and truthful in all our dealings.

“And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the Lord's passover. For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the Lord.” Exodus 12:11-12

“He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.” Isaiah 53:7

Now, the Passover itself is both our deliverance and our redemption. It is also our divine exception from the judgement that will come upon this world. Jesus did not only take on the position of our sin as the sacrificial lamb. He also became our ransom as our Passover lamb. You and I can no longer be afflicted by either the firstborn of Egypt or the gods of Egypt.

May you claim your deliverance in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: In Jesus name, the bondage and the sin of Egypt are dead in my life.

Vicarious liability

“Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53: 4-5

It is the holy week, and the weekend is the celebration of the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. This means I will have to suspend the series on Biblical success for five days. One of the themes for this weekend is vicarious liability: He who was without sin received the punishment for our sin. For all Christians, this is our song, “The sorrowful death we would have died, the punishment for sin we would have received; Jesus had carried them all away. Thank you, Jesus; you received the punishment for our sake.”

“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” 2 Corinthians 5:21

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

Jesus took the place of our sin so that we could take the place of His righteousness. You cannot behave the way the world is behaving if you have received what the world has not received. His death was not only to deal with our punishment for sin, but also to give us the grace to live a righteous life. The hold of sin and death over our lives is broken.

May His death not be in vain in our lives in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: I receive the benefits of Jesus death in my life and destiny in Jesus' name.
