Divine expectations of us

“Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.” Matthew 22:37-39

Does God have some expectations from us? Yes, He does.  Basically, He expects us to walk in love toward Him and our neighbors. Our love for Him involves obedience, worship, faith in Him, and walking in His will. Our love for our neighbors requires that we do no harm to them; we should do to them what we expect others to do to us. The expectation of God is not grievous, but the way of the transgressor is hard. I believe if we are consecrated to Him, He will work through us for us to meet His expectations.

“For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.” 1 John 5:3

“Good understanding giveth favour: but the way of transgressors is hard.” Proverbs 13:15

My counsel to all believers in Christ is that we should take responsibility for our walk and relationship with God. God relates with us through His word. If we understand His word, we will walk in His wisdom and obtain His favor.  He relates with us as individuals. He is not a respecter of persons and what He says to one, He says to all. You can move God with sacrifice, worship, praise, faith, love, and obedience.

May God be pleased with you in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, sanctify me and make me Your sanctuary and dominion in Jesus name.

Salvation: Lord Jesus, I believe in the forgiveness of sin and in the redemption from the power of darkness through your blood. I confess you as my Savior and Lord.  I invite you into my life to save my soul. Holy Spirit, come into my heart and make me what you want me to be. Thank you Lord for saving me in Jesus name.

Divine qualification

“But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7

Divine qualification is a prerequisite to the fullness of God. God qualifies men based on their hearts. Specifically, God is looking for a humble heart and an obedient heart. Beloved, whether human beings certify you or not, please make sure God qualifies you. Divine qualification is what makes God pour Himself into you. If God qualifies you, your weaknesses and limitations will not matter anymore, you will be the best person God wants you to be.

“And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:” Philippians 2:8-9

“Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.” John 15:14

David was not certified by his father, but he was qualified by God. God anointed him, and he became the light of Israel. Even Saul, the first king of Israel, was made king because of his humble heart, but he became proud and disobedient and lost the throne (1 Samuel 15:17-23). Humility and obedience work together and, if found in your heart, will make your heart right with God.

May your heart be right with God in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, break me and mold me, fill me and use me in Jesus name.

Divine authority

“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Mark 16:17-18

Divine authority is the power delegated to believers. It is the authority of the believers. This is what gives us dominion over the power of darkness and its work. Technically speaking, only the believers in Christ can stop satan and his agents in this dark world. We have the authority to do so, backed up by the Word of God, the power of the Holy Ghost, and the name of Jesus.

“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Luke 10:19

“Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.” Job 22:28

This authority is exercised by speaking. We decree in the name of Jesus, and we see results. This authority is also backed up by the spirit of faith, so when we speak, we do not doubt. The degree of our authority is enhanced by the time we spend with Jesus and our obedience to His will (Acts 4:13, John 15:7, 2 Tim 1;7, Matthew 8:8-10). As a believer, you should not keep quiet but speak out boldly against the work of darkness and expect results.

You have authority over serpents and scorpions in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I take authority over the work of satan and his demons, and I terminate their activities in Jesus name.

Divine peace

“And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7

Divine peace makes you unshakable in the midst of storms and challenges.  This is the result of our confidence in God and in His ability to deliver us from all trouble. Divine peace comes because of our faith in God and in His promises. You don’t have to be moved by anything in this world if you are conscious of the presence of God with you. The storm cannot swallow you, and neither can the fire burn you if the presence of God is with you. Divine peace is an inheritance of all saints of God.

“And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.” Exodus 33:14

“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.” Isaiah 43:2

Jesus Himself is the Prince of Peace. In Mark 4:38, even in the midst of storms, He was restful. He told the disciples in Matthew 7:24-25 that if they hear His sayings and do it, they will be unshakable when the storms of life come. He said in John 16:33, that in me you might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. He said in John 14:1, let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. You can enjoy peace at all times if you are conscious of God’s presence, believe in Him, and walk in obedience to His word.

May the peace of God reign within you in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, heal my troubled heart and fill my heart with Your peace in Jesus name.

Divine inheritance

“The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.” Ephesians 1:18

Everything I have been talking about for more than a week now is captured in a divine inheritance. The saints of God are to be envied, not pitied. We have a divine inheritance that is rich in glory without limit. The Bible talks about all the nations being our inheritance (temporal) (Psalm 2:8). The Bible also talks about our eternal inheritance (Hebrews 9:15). We are entitled to both the temporal and eternal inheritances (divine inheritance) when we become the saints of God (Mathew 6:33).

“And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.” Acts 20:32

“Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.” Psalms 2:8

“And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.” Hebrews 9:15

We need the spirit of wisdom and revelation to enlighten our eyes of understanding for us to know and receive our inheritance. We must devote ourselves to the word of His grace in order to be built up, as well as to unceasing prayer. You must make this your lifestyle to grow into the fullness of God and walk in your divine inheritance (Galatians 4:1-6).

May you be a man to be envied on earth in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I claim my divine inheritance in Jesus name.

Divine health

“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” Romans 8:11

Divine health is superior to divine healing; it is a state of no form of health affliction at all times, in any situation, no matter the age. We can reach a point where the Holy Spirit has permeated our bodies so thoroughly that sickness is not permitted. At this level, no virus, no bacteria, no pathogen, no demon, can afflict our bodies. We become immune to all diseases. I believe this is part of our consecration unto the Lord and we must not give up until we attain it.

“For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.” Jeremiah 30:17

“And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live. And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm. Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god.” Acts 28:4-6

What Jesus said in Mark 16:17-18 is true, and we must press into God until it becomes a reality in our lives. A venomous viper fastened on Paul’s hand.  The natives expected him to die. They had witnessed several people killed by this beast, so they were not expecting an exception. However, when they observed that the poison could not kill Paul, they changed their mind and concluded he was a god.

May the Spirit of God possess your body so that you become immune to sickness and diseases in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Holy Spirit, possess my body, soul, and spirit in Jesus name.

Divine healing

“Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.” 1 Peter 2:24

The fall of Adam brought about sickness and diseases. The death and resurrection of Jesus generated the power for our healing. In actual fact, Jesus took our infirmities and bare our sicknesses (Matthew 8:17) on the cross of Calvary. There is a legal spiritual provision for healing for every believer in Christ Jesus. I believe none of us should remain sick if this provision has been received and is at work in our lives.

“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” Romans 8:11

“My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.” Proverbs 4:20-22

I believe we can receive healing from any disease through the Holy Spirit (pneumatotherapy) or the Word of God (logosotherapy) or both. If your body allows the Holy Spirit to go through, the movement is like an electric current that generates virtues for your healing (Mark 5:25-34). Also, you can kill the sickness in your body by believing the Word of God and declaring the Word. You can receive your healing through the operations of spiritual gifts (faith, healings, and working of miracles). You can receive your healing through contact with the anointing and through prayer of faith.

Be healed in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I curse every sickness in my body to die in Jesus name.

Divine provision

“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19

As a Christian, God must be your source of provision, and you must live by faith, whether you have a high-paying job or not. Work is very important primarily as your contribution to humanity and secondarily as an instrument of provision. If God is your source, your provision is not limited to one instrument. He can use anything, including your jobs, businesses, and even a ravine or a fish to provide for you. If God is your source, your provision will not be affected by the economy or challenges of this world. If God can trust you with resources, your provision will know no bounds. God delights in your prosperity.

“I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.” Isaiah 45:2-3

“And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the Lord of hosts. The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the Lord of hosts.” Haggai 2:7-8

“Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.” Isaiah 48:17

If you don’t have provisions as a Christian, it is not because you don’t have a big job. It is because you are either not hearing God or you are not doing what he asked you to do. The voice of the Lord is your key to any divine manifestation in your life. Your response to His voice should be trust and obedience. Then you will be blessed and prosperous. Read Joshua 1:8, Deuteronomy 28:1-13, Psalm 1, Luke 5:1-6, Matthew 17:27, and Psalm 23.

You shall not lack anything good in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, teach me to profit and lead me by the way I should go in Jesus name.

Divine help

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:10

Your strength can be determined by the help available to you. If God is helping you, nothing can defeat you. Russia would have taken over Ukraine but for the help of NATO. However, Russia has been able to inflict much damage on Ukraine. If God is the one helping you, nothing can be missing and nothing can be broken, no matter the strength of your adversary. Greatness in life is a product of divine help. Divine help is timely help. Divine help is marvelous help.

“And he made in Jerusalem engines, invented by cunning men, to be on the towers and upon the bulwarks, to shoot arrows and great stones withal. And his name spread far abroad; for he was marvellously helped, till he was strong.” 2 Chronicle 26:15

“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace,  that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 4:16

Divine help is available through a covenant relationship with God. If you have given your life to Jesus, divine help is part of your entitlement. You can boldly come to the throne of grace and obtain the help you need. I don’t care to know how weak or strong you are, but I want to announce that divine help is available for you. God has promised to help you in your time of need.

You shall be marvelously helped in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, help me in Jesus name.

Divine speed

“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)

Speed, with respect to a man's agenda, is about your outputs or results compared to your years or age. If your output is not commensurate with your age or all you can show is what your own strength can deliver, you need divine speed. Actually, divine speed is a vital component of divine restoration when God restores your lost years. This is done by giving you many results within a short time. I am happy to announce to you that you can still achieve great results in your life if you will allow God to bless you with His speed.

“and the Lord gave special strength to Elijah so that he was able to run ahead of Ahab’s chariot to the entrance of the city!” 1 Kings 18:46 (NL)

“The Lord replied to me: If racing with mere men—these men of Anathoth—has wearied you, how will you race against horses, against the king, his court, and all his evil priests?[” Jeremiah 12:5 (NL)

God will give you the strength and the wisdom to overcome your limitations and excel in life. Maybe you are already feeling that your mates are better than you or that you are far behind in the game of life. Go to God and receive an impartation of His Spirit. You will be surprised at what He will do through you.

May God grant you speed in life and destiny in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, lay Your hand upon me for uncommon results in Jesus name.

Divine empowerment

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33

If, as a Christian, you are not seeking after God, you are missing a lot. If all you are seeking is what the people of the world are seeking, you will be powerless, susceptible, and vulnerable to all forms of attack.  This is more important, the reality of the scriptural promises of God depends on your experience of God and His power. If you don’t have power with God, you will think that the testimonies of divine acts of God are not true because you are not experiencing them.

“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:” Matthew 7:7

“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31

How long can you tarry in God’s presence? How long can you wait on God? The power you need to fulfill your destiny can only be given to you by God and is available in His presence. It is high time you left the outer court and came into the Holy of Holies. Then you shall be divinely empowered to be an instrument of wonder in this generation.

May you be divinely empowered in Jesus name.

Your week is blessed in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let Your power come upon me in Jesus name.

Divine lifting

“And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.” Acts 7:10

It is very accurate to say that without force, nothing lifts. It is also true that the height of the lift depends on the strength or capacity of the force. There is a limit to the lifting you can bring about in your life on your own.  If the power of God is at work in you, there is no limit to the height you can achieve. No matter your present level, you can be lifted by God if you allow His power to be at work in you. He lifts the poor from the dust and the needy from the garbage dump. He sets them among princes, placing them in seats of honor (1 Samuel 2:8).

“He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.” 1 Samuel 2:9

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.” Ephesians 3:20

Turn the power of God on in your life and you will be supernaturally lifted. You need faith, inspiration, and impartation to generate the power of God for divine lifting. All of these are available by spending time in His presence. Don’t attend any church service casually, attend with expectations. Have a deliberate, conscious, consistent, and regular quiet time with God. When God gives you an instruction, don’t delay, obey promptly. Be a giver, no matter your level.

May you be divinely lifted in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let Your power be at work in me in Jesus name.

Divine access

“I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:” Isaiah 45:2

Most of the things our destiny needs are precious and also "gated." I was very excited one early morning when I was meditating, and then God told me that everything my life and destiny need is possible. The truth is that you can have access to everything you need if God goes ahead of you. When God goes ahead of you, nothing can stop you; not even the gates of brass or the bars of iron. Gates opened on their own accord, the sea fled, Jordan was driven back, protocols are broken, at the presence of God.

“Judah was his sanctuary, and Israel his dominion. The sea saw it, and fled: Jordan was driven back..” Psalms 114:2-3

“When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from him.” Acts 12:10

I believe we should operate from a level where we are God’s sanctuary and dominion. Then nothing can hinder us. We will not even need to pray to have access; we just go through, and barriers flee of their own accord. This is the level at which a Spirit-filled believer who is constantly in fellowship with God and walks in total obedience to Him should be. This is what you need for divine access.

May you have divine access in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let my struggle end, and let me experience a supernatural breakthrough in Jesus name.

Divine inspiration

“But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.” Job 32:8KJV

Divine inspiration is divine intelligence. You have access to the intelligence of God through His indwelling Spirit. You can solve any problem with divine touch and accuracy through divine inspiration. Divine inspiration is a product of divine qualification. If your heart is with God, He will qualify you and give you access into His infinite intelligence. Another translation calls the inspiration of the Almighty the breath of the Almighty. Divine inspiration is God breathing on your life and what you do to give you divine results.

“But there is a spirit within people, the breath of the Almighty within them, that makes them intelligent.” Job 32:8 (NLT)

“The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.” Job 33:4KJV

Divine inspiration is what you need for a change of level. This is what you need to terminate your struggle, failure, and stagnancy. We need divine inspiration to turn around our lives and ministries. Divine inspiration is the source of divine innovation and creativity. Spend time with God and His word, and ask Him to grant you access into His infinite intelligence.

May you be inspired by God in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, breathe on me and all that I do in Jesus name.

Divine exception

“For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.” Isaiah 60:2

We live in a troubled world, but you don't have to be troubled. Your exception from this troubled world is the Lord. His light and glory separate you from the darkness that has come over the world. You are strange and unusual because the light and the glory of God are upon you. The reality of your peculiarity is that you heard the word, you believed the word, you are walking in the word, and you are anointed by the Holy Ghost.

“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;” 1 Peter 2:9

“When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up; and he shall save the humble person.” Job 22:29

What you have learned and believed gives you strength and exempts you from the troubles of this world. Always get into the word of God and spend time in His presence. In His presence, you hear what the world is not hearing, and you see what the world is not seeing. Consequently, you believe what the world is not believing and do what the world cannot do.

You shall not go down with the world in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let my light come, and let Your glory rise upon me in Jesus name.

Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit

“And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.” Ephesians 4:30

As Christians, the Holy Spirit is our sure help when we are still on earth; He is the one that will take us through challenges, obstacles, and attacks from the enemy. He is our helper, teacher, comforter, counselor, giver of gifts, and the source of our power. None of us can do without Him in this dark and challenging world. He is our guarantee that we will make it to the end. We must not grieve Him or cause Him sorrow by the way we live. We must not neglect Him, we must recognize His presence, listen to Him and obey Him.

“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.” 2 Corinthians 13:14

“Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.” Psalms 51:11

Even David in the Old Testament highly esteemed the Holy Spirit and would not want the Holy Spirit to be taken from him. We must live in communion with the Holy Spirit and give Him first place in our lives. This is more than speaking in tongues. It is a conscious relationship of total surrender, love, and honor.

May your life not grieve the Holy Spirit in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Holy Spirit, I welcome you afresh into my life, walk with me throughout my entire life in Jesus name.

A prompting to pray

“And said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation.” Luke 22:46

Sleep is refreshing and necessary, but please don’t sleep when you receive prompting from the Holy Spirit to pray. You may need to rise and pray instead of sleeping to avert certain challenges and deal with the hour and the power of darkness. We suffer too much when we are not sensitive to the Holy Spirit and do not yield to His voice. Please don’t sleep when you are supposed to pray.

“And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.” Matthew 6:13

“But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.” Matthew 13:25

The enemy has chosen the night time to do his work of darkness. The night time is a sleep time, but ironically, it is also a war time. This is why one of my favorite verses in the Bible is Psalm 121:5, “Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.” This means I can sleep and enjoy my sleep at any time because He keeps me. However, when it is Him asking you to pray, if you are tired, ask Him for strength. Then it will not be only you praying, but the Holy Spirit with you.

You shall not enter into temptation in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, help me to be sensitive to Your prompting in Jesus name.

Praise and Honor

“For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.” 1 Corinthians 6:20

You cannot praise God amiss, nor can you be wrong honoring God.  Praise and honor will commit God to you if you consistently engage in them. Praise is exalting God for who He is. Honor is about using yourself to please God, this involves obeying God and giving to Him. When you praise and honor God as a lifestyle, you are glorifying God in your body and in your spirit. Many people find it easier to pray than to praise and honor God. God is God, no matter what you are going through. However, if God is involved in your matter, you will enjoy a swift and sweet victory. Praise and honor is your key to getting God involved in your matter. Praise and honor are the ways to make your prayers produce results.

“And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.” Acts 16:25-26

“Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.” Proverbs 3:9-10

Sing praises to God, no matter what you are going through. Honor God with your body, no matter what you are going through. Honor God with your substance, no matter what you are going through. You can never be wrong if you do these. You can be confident that God will definitely show up in your life if you praise and honor Him. Make praise and honor your lifestyle.

May you receive answers to your prayers as you praise and honor God in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, help me to glorify You through praise and honor in Jesus name.

Purity and Power

“Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.” 2 Corinthians 6:17-18

Purity and power are the results of a separated and consecrated Christian life. Sanctification, holiness, and dedication are God’s call to all believers and are the underlining factors for a Christian to walk in purity and power. We are in this world, but we are not of this world. We are the light of the world. We are the ambassadors of God’s kingdom in the kingdom of this world, we must uphold the constitution of God’s kingdom among men by walking in purity and power.

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:2

“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.” Matthew 5:14

Light is an indication of purity and power. We cannot change the world if our light is hidden and we are just like them. We must surrender to the work of the Holy Spirit and the word of God to live a pure life full of power. We must leave sin alone deliberately. Otherwise, we will only be Christians by religion. And that is not profitable to us, the world, and God.

May your life lighten the world through purity and power in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, sanctify and consecrate me unto Yourself in Jesus name.

Another Spirit

“But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it.” Numbers 14:24

By default, human beings are losers since the fall of man in the garden Eden. This is the reason why the natural man cannot receive the things of the Spirit of God. I will not blame anyone if he struggles as a man. However, I will blame him if he refuses to turn to God. God will give you another Spirit that will enable you to believe and receive from Him, if you turn to Him. This another Spirit is called the Spirit of faith. This was the Spirit that was in Caleb and Joshua that made them believe God for the Promised Land despite the fact that the giants were there. This is the Spirit you need to believe God for anything and to receive. This is the Spirit you need to take what belongs to you.

“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” 1 Corinthians 2:14

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7

You may need a miracle from God, but you are finding it difficult to believe. That is natural. It means you need another spirit. Your first step will be to ask God for help and then get into the written word of God concerning the matter. Faith comes by hearing God or through the revelation of His word. If you are baptized in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues, you can engage your spirit by praying in tongues. The final step is to lift up your hands and worship God, declaring that you believe you receive in Jesus name. When the Spirit of faith comes up you, you will believe God for anything and receive from Him.

May you receive your miracle right now in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God give me the Spirit of faith to walk in the supernatural in Jesus name.

Upholding the finished work

“Since you died with Christ to the elemental spiritual forces of this world, why, as though you still belonged to the world, do you submit to its rules:” Colossians 2:20 (NIV)

If you submit to the rule of the elemental spiritual forces of this world, you are not upholding the finished work of the cross. This happens when a Christian lives a defeated life dominated by sin, sickness, and poverty. Nothing pleases the devil more than for a child of God to still live a defeated life. The devil knows that it was finished on the cross. These issues were dealt with on the cross. You must be violent in the spirit and take the provision of victory available through the cross of Christ, our Lord. You must hate sin, sickness, and poverty with all your heart and breakthrough in prayer.

“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.” Mathew 11:12

“When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.” John 19:30

If you really understand your position in Christ, then you can appropriate the benefits of the finished work of Christ on the cross of Calvary. You can cast out the devil and terminate his activities in your life. God is happy to see the victorious saint putting the devil where he belongs. Beloved, Jesus set you free on the cross, you cannot be bound. Enforce the victory given to you at the cross and walk in the liberty by praying through.

Prayer for today: I enforce my victory in every area of my life in Jesus name.

The reality of our redemption package

“Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:” Colossians 1:13-14

As Christians, we have been redeemed from death, sickness, and poverty. We have been rescued and set free from the bondage and oppression of Satan. The kingdom of darkness is enforced through the law of sin and death. The Kingdom of God’s Son is enforced through the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus. Our redemption package is made possible through the blood of Jesus, whereby our sins are forgiven and we are no longer under the law of sin and death.

“This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.” Galatian 5:16

“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” Romans 8:14

The real turning point in our lives is when we begin to see physical evidence of our redemption package. When our spirit, soul, and body are in union with God so that sin, sickness, and poverty no longer have dominion over us.  This is the essence of our individualistic fellowship with God, our growth in His word, our walking by His Spirit, and our total surrender to Him.

May you be an evidence of the redeemed man in this generation in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I claim my redemption package in Jesus name.

The law of the Spirit of life

“For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.” Romans 8:2

By default, the whole world is under the law of sin and death. This is the law that came into place after the fall of the first Adam. It is the law that puts sin, sickness, poverty, curses, bondage, and such on a man. The only way to beat this law and reject its consequences over your life is to enforce the law of the Spirit of Life. The law of the Spirit of life is only available in Christ Jesus. Death came through Adam, but life came through Jesus Christ.

“For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.” 1 Corinthians 15:21-22

“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” Romans 8:1

The only way to challenge sin, sickness, and poverty is to enforce the law of the Spirit of Life. The first step is to give your life to Jesus and become a Christian. If you are a Christian, you must give the Holy Spirit control over your life. You must not walk after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit and obey Him. You must deal with every manifestation of the law of spirit of sin and death, destroy them, and enforce the law of the Spirit of life through prayer and confessing the Word of God.

Death shall not have dominion over you in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I destroy sin, sickness, and poverty in my life and enforce the law of the Spirit of life upon my life in Jesus name.

Come to Jesus

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28

Jesus has all that your life and destiny need. Jesus is the burden bearer, yoke-breaker, and rest giver.  If you study the Gospel, you will discover that everyone who came to Jesus received help. The exceptions are those who are blinded by the religious spirit (Pharisees and Sadducees) and those who were offended at Him (Mark 6). How did he give solutions to people’s problems? He touched some. Some touched Him. He spoke to some people’s problems. He gave some people instructions. No situation was impossible or hard for Him to deal with.

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

“And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.” Luke 10:41-42

If you need true rest in this troubled world, you will have to come to Jesus and sit at His feet. This is the only place you can find rest in this whole world. An intentional fellowship is the key to experiencing the rest that only He can give. If you come to Jesus even as you are, He will in no wise cast you out (John 6:37). Wherever you are right now and whatever you are going through, Jesus is your sure help. Don’t be off and on, stay in fellowship with Him and you shall be helped.

May you experience the power of Jesus.

Prayer for today: Lord Jesus, I put my trust in You, help me and show up in my situation.

Pray always

“Pray without ceasing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:17

If you are a Christian, prayer must be a daily and consistent part of your life. Prayer is an indication that you depend on God. Pray until something happens, when something happens, pray until another thing happens. Prayer is as important as your daily food. If you make up your mind to live a life of prayer, then your destiny's fulfillment is guaranteed. Prayer cannot take the place of the right action, but prayer is a right action that can help you find the right actions and empower you to take them. In the place of prayer, you get two major things that lead to breakthroughs. You get impartation and revelation. Impartation brings an aura of favor and power upon you while revelation gives you answers to your questions.

“And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.” Mark 1:35

“And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;” Luke 18:1

Beloved, Jesus Christ, the Word became flesh, lived a life of prayer. You cannot make it in this end-time without having a life soaked in prayer. Anyone who says you are praying too much is an enemy of first, your destiny, second, your future, and third, your Christian life. Jesus said when you are praying day and night, you are showing faith (Luke 18:7-8) and you know what, the just shall live by faith. Prayer empowers you to live. Daniel prayed three times every day he became a god in his generation (Daniel 5:11-12)

May your prayer get results in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, make me evidence of divine life through an effective prayer life in Jesus name.

Making wise decisions 3

“Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;" John 10:34-35.

Making wise decisions becomes easy if you have the revelation of God’s word. This actually makes you think like God and, consequently, make decisions and act like Him. God told Joshua to meditate daily on the word so that he could deal wisely in all affairs of life. Jesus told the Sadducees that they were in error because they didn’t know the scriptures or the power of God. Decisions that are not in alignment with the scriptures and the power of God are foolish, no matter how intellectually sound they may be.

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua 1:8

“Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.” Matthew 22:29

The word of God is true, unshakable, and current at all times. If your decision is based on the word, your future is guaranteed. The word of God is the basis for our faith in God. If you have heard God and you believe it, the most unreasonable decision is the breakthrough decision (2 kings 5:10-14). If you claim to be a child of God, then your decisions must be faith-based, otherwise, your walk in life will not be different from that of the people of the world (Rom 1:17, Matt 7:24-27, Matt 4:4, Psalm 82:6-7).

You are a god, you shall not die like a mere man in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, grant me access into the mystery of Your word in Jesus name.

Making wise decisions 2

“Through wisdom a house is built, And by understanding it is established; By knowledge the rooms are filled With all precious and pleasant riches." Proverbs 24:3-4.

Making wise decisions is hard, and actually impossible, without wisdom, understanding, and knowledge. Understanding is what translates knowledge into wisdom. You can make a wise decision if you have understanding. The wise man actually advised that in all your getting, get understanding. Understanding is common sense and good judgment. It comes from finding out all you need to know about a matter before making a decision.

“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.” Proverbs 24:7

“Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:” Ephesians 4:18

If the facts are confusing, give yourself time to understand them before making decisions. Please don’t make a decision on matters you don’t understand. If you do, you are gambling. Life is too short for you to gamble with your decisions. Getting understanding is work, but it is a profitable work. The devil keeps people from the life of God by darkening their understanding and thus keeping them ignorant. If you do God’s commandment, you have good understanding.

May you have understanding in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, give me a good understanding in life and in destiny in Jesus name.

Making wise decisions 1

“And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,  And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants." Luke 15:17-19.

We decide or make decisions all the time. Those decisions determine our lives and our destinies. If you make wise decisions, your life will be profitable, successful, exciting, and fulfilling. If you look at your life, you will observe certain decisions you have taken in the past that have brought you positive results. On the other hand, you could remember the decisions that caused you pain. If you look back, you may learn a few lessons that can help you in your present and future decisions. However, fortunately, the scriptures have not left us in darkness as to what to do to make wise decisions.

“And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.” Exodus 33:14

“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31

I will like to start by saying to you that you should always make decisions that will bring you closer to God. When the prodigal son made the decision to leave his father, he did not know that he was going away into destruction. You can never miss it, if you decide to get closer to God, no matter what you are going through. When the prodigal son decided to go back to his father, he got his breakthrough. Perhaps you want to make a decision right now; the question is, which of the decisions will bring you closer to God? That is the option you should take.

May the presence of God abide with you in Jesus name

Prayer for today: Oh God, help me to esteem your presence in my everyday decisions, in Jesus name.

Affliction terminators 4

“And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.” Acts 3:16.

Faith in the name of Jesus is the terminator of any affliction. I believe all Christians must have faith in the name of Jesus for their lives and to help others. The truth is that every affliction has behind it a sponsoring personality that must be dealt with. No personality can withstand or resist faith in the name of Jesus. More importantly, when you ask in the name of Jesus, it shall be done to glorify God the Father.

“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Mark 16:17-18.

“And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” John 14:13

Spend time to meditate on the Gospel and the Acts of the Apostles to develop faith in the name of Jesus. Begin to exercise faith by dealing with your life using declarations in the name of Jesus. You have authority over any affliction, if you have faith in the name of Jesus. I decree that your affliction is terminated in Jesus name.

May you have faith in the name of Jesus in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I bind the personality behind my affliction, and I cast it out in Jesus name.

Affliction terminators 3

“Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.” Ezekiel 37:4.

The prophetic word is the terminator of any affliction. All afflictions have the capacity to hear and obey. You are the first prophet of your life. If you prophesy against your affliction, it will be terminated. If you keep quiet, then it will stay.  Find a word in the scripture and declare it as a prophecy against your afflictions. If you ask Him, God will always give you a mouth against your affliction.  The power of life and death is in your mouth (tongue). If you close your mouth, you leave your case open. However, if you open your mouth, you close every case that is against you.

“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” Mark 11:23.

“……. but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.” Matthew 8:8

You may be saying in your mind, what if I prophesy and the affliction does not obey. I need to let you know that the fact that you don’t see immediate physical results does not mean that the breakthrough has not started. Keep on prophesying until the result shows physically.

This is your season of rest from all afflictions in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I curse my afflictions to die in Jesus name.
