Fear not!

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:10

Fear is a weapon of the enemy. Its supporting instruments are doubt and unbelief. Whenever a man responds to God’s word with doubt and unbelief, fear sets in. When fear sets in, it opens the door to the enemy to operate. It does not matter what you have heard or what you are going through, God’s word is powerful enough to change things and handle the situation. As you are getting ready to enter the year 2020, God asked me to tell you to fear not, only believe.

“As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.” Mark 5:36

“Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.” Acts 27:25

The consciousness of God’s presence, the infallibility of His word and the power of His love must give you boldness to conquer your fear and move into your destiny. The ruler of the Synagogue was told that his daughter was dead but Jesus told him not to fear but believe. He believed Jesus and the situation turned to his favor. Paul and others went through a great storm that made the people not to eat for at least 14 days. God told Paul that none of them would die. Paul believed God and communicated the same word to the people. None of them was lost in the storm. Beloved, I see God manifesting in that situation and bringing you victory. Fear not and enter the year 20220 with confidence that God is turning things around for your favor.

May fear die, may faith be alive in you in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God manifest your power in my life and let my situation of fear turn to miracle testimony in Jesus name.

A deeper experience with God

“He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.” Psalm 103:7

There are many differences between desiring who God is and what God has. A shallow relationship desires to receive what God has while a deeper relationship desires to receive His person. You will never have to worry about receiving what He has if you have received His person and have a personal understanding of His ways. Majority is interested in the acts of God, but only a few are interested to know His ways. This is what separates the real Christians from the crowd of churchgoers.

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33

“As I was in the days of my youth, when the secret of God was upon my tabernacle.” Job 29:4

You can continually experience the act of God if you have access to the secrets of God. The great news is that God is willing to share His secrets with you if you desire it. Job walked in prosperity and dominion because he had access to the secrets of God. He had a deeper experience with God. Daniel could do what only the gods could do because he had access to the secret of God (Daniel 2, 5, 6; John 10:35). Beloved as we are ending 2019 and approaching 2020, change your approach towards God. Desire a deeper experience with Him to know His ways and His secrets and to walk in it. If you do, you will no longer worry about the benefits of the kingdom that include prosperity, security, dominion and the supernatural.

As you seek God with the whole of your heart, you will find Him in Jesus name.

Birthing your vision in 2020

“And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ.” Luke 2:26.

Do you know that the bible mentioned at least two intercessors who were praying concerning the birth of Jesus Christ? The bible mentioned Simeon and Anna the Prophetess.  It was revealed to Simon that he would not see death until he had seen Christ Jesus. If God needed to raise intercessors to deliver His plan to send Jesus to the world, you too may need intercessors if you have received a vision from God for 2020. Soak yourself in prayers, be in the midst of praying saints, and secure the spiritual strength to birth your vision in 2020. Do not just use this holiday for eating and drinking alone. Even if you have not received a vision, it is not too late to seek God for one.

“Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.” Isaiah 66:8

“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.” Matthew 11:12

God has a vision for you. God wants to help you. God wants to replace your weakness with His strength. God wants to subdue your adversary and give you your portion. God wants to change your story. Be hungry for God’s presence and for fellowship with Him, don’t be carried away with jesting around with people. You can have 2020 before it arrives, although it is coming in three days’ time.

May you have an encounter with God, may you enter the new year with confidence of victory in Jesus name.

The man God uses

“And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.” Luke 1:38.

Do you know Mary could have refused to be used by God? The Angel told her the intention of God to use her and spoke about the fact that the results she would get would be supernatural. What God was about to use her for could  bring her “shame” for a season. Mary received the word, believed the word and submitted to the will of God so God used her.

“Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision.” Acts 26:19

“But if thou fear to go down, go thou with Phurah thy servant down to the host: And thou shalt hear what they say; and afterward shall thine hands be strengthened to go down unto the host. Then went he down with Phurah his servant unto the outside of the armed men that were in the host..” Judges 7:10-11

God still need men to deliver the supernatural among men in order to execute His plan on earth. God’s pattern has not changed. If you are willing to be used of God, you must hear Him, believe Him and submit to His will for your life. Paul was used because he submitted to the will of God as revealed to him in an heavenly vision. Gideon could only be used by God if he cast away fear and embrace the vision of God for his life. God arranged that he could hear what the enemies were saying so that he could do away with fear and believe God. May you hear God as you are preparing for 2020, may you believe Him and accept His will for your life in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let your word come unto me, reveal to me what you want me to do with my life in Jesus name.

Unusual alternative

“And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.” Luke 2:7

You may have to accept an unusual alternative for a while on your way to destiny fulfilment. As long as there is life, there is hope (Job 14:7). The only available alternative was for Jesus to be laid in a manger. There was no room in the inn. Not that they could not afford an inn but there was no room for them. Jesus did not stay long in the manger because the wise men met them in a house (Matthew 2:11). Don’t kill yourself forcing a door to open. It does not matter to start small, it is more important not to end small. If the job you are qualified for is not available, accept what is available and work yourself to the top. Don’t be afraid to start the business with what you have. If you are waiting for the condition to be perfect you may not start anything (Ecc 11:4).

“For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the Lord, which run to and fro through the whole earth.” Mark 6:3

“Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.” Job 8:7

Most times, what you have in your hand is enough but if you neglect it, you may waste your years. As we celebrate the birth of Jesus, do not forget that His first abode was a manger despite the fact that He was the king of kings. He started in a manger but He did not stay there. Never stay idle, do something with your time and grow out of smallness.

May you get to your destination in the name of Jesus name.

Between a child and a Son

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6

When a child is born, he is born fully packaged for what heaven has designed him to be. However, he has to grow to become a Son for the full manifestation of heaven’s design about him. Until a child grows into a son, he looks ordinary. Jesus even came to this world as a child for the purpose to bring salvation to this world. He grew up like a normal child and was recognized as a carpenter. He looked ordinary to his friends and the people He grew up with.  He was not only growing physically, but He was growing in wisdom and in favor until He became a Son to be who God wanted Him to be.

“Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.” Mark 6:3

“Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all” Galatians 4:1

Beloved, the child in you must grow to become a son if you are going to be who God wants you to be. All the training, the experience, the contact with people are supposed to help you grow into becoming a son. Do not be discouraged if you are not there yet. Learn from what you are going through but do not be tied down by it. As we are celebrating the birth of Christ, be convinced that you have been born for a purpose and as you grow in grace and in knowledge, the purpose of God shall be fulfilled in your life.

May the child in you grow to becoming a son in the name of Jesus name.

Celebrating the birth of Christ 2

“And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” Luke 2:13-14.

What the heavenly host said at the birth of Jesus indicated that His birth was a manifestation of the glory and the peace of God among men. Jesus was conceived of a virgin without the involvement of the seed of man and in the fulfilment of prophecy and the plan of God for the redemption of mankind. He came as a seed of the woman to bruise the head of the serpent and bring peace and deliverance to all men. As we celebrate the birth of Jesus, we must worship, praise and thank God for this season, we must ask God for His peace to prevail on the earth in which we live and we must share our love with others and be a blessing to them.

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6

“And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.” 1 Timothy 3:15

More importantly, we must pray that the gospel be preached in all part of the world, and get involved. We can only experience the true reason behind His birth if many accept Him as Lord and Savior.  May the peace brought by the Prince of peace fill your heart, your family and your nation in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God as we celebrate the birth of Jesus, let your glory and peace fill our lives in Jesus name.

Celebrating the birth of Christ 1

“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.” Mathew 1:2

God ordained that Jesus Christ be born so that He (God) can touch the world and meet her needs. Jesus is the Word became flesh and we are flesh. It is the flesh that can save, help and deliver the flesh. The main reason behind the birth of Jesus was to save people. Beloved, I know you have your own plans as to how you will celebrate this Christmas but do your plans include touching other people’s lives? Do you have around you people that do not have cloth, shoes, food and the necessities of life? Then you will be doing the same thing God did by bringing about the birth of Christ if you move to meet their physical needs.

“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” John 1:14

“Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds” Hebrews 1:2

Just as Jesus is the answer to the redemption from sin, you are God’s answer to the need of your neighbor. You are God’s answer to someone’s prayer. More importantly, you are God’s answer to someone who needs to hear the Gospel today. In the spirit of this celebration, may you connect to the person who needs you, may the person you need connect with you in Jesus name. Celebration of good things will not cease in your home in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God use me to fulfil your purpose this season and always in Jesus name.

Beyond the limit 6

“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.” Matthew 11:12

Violent faith may be needed to go beyond a certain limit, particularly if the limit has been there for a long time. You must be willing not to take no for an answer. You must be willing not to turn back until you get through the limit. Violent faith is forceful. Most times, there is no future without a force.

“And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four. And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.” Mark 2:3-4

“And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?” Luke 18:7-8

Be persistent in your prayers, pray through to break through. Be persistent in the actions you are taking towards going beyond the limit. Don’t give up. Violent faith always obtains results because it will not give up. Jesus said if you are persistent, you are demonstrating faith. Those four men had to uncover the roof to get their friend to Jesus for his healing, they did not turn back because of the obstacle. Jesus saw their actions as faith (Mark 2:5)

I see you going beyond the limit, I see you attaining your goals in the name of Jesus name.

Beyond the limit 5

“He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.” Proverbs 13:20

Breaking a limit becomes easy when you associate with people that are above the limit. The choice of mentors and friends has a lot to do with whether you will grow above the limit or not. If you know what a man knows and you do what a man does, you will get the same result he is getting. If your eagle decides to only associate with the chickens, you have finished yourself. Your association can make or break you.

“And Moses' father in law said unto him, The thing that thou doest is not good. Thou wilt surely wear away, both thou, and this people that is with thee: for this thing is too heavy for thee; thou art not able to perform it thyself alone.” Exodus 18:17-18

“And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Matthew 4:19

Any man you follow has the power to make you into something. Any association you engage in will either lead you to your destination or take you away from there. As anointed as Moses was, despite the fact that he saw God face to face, he would not have succeeded in leading the three million people of Israel if not for the wise counsel of Jethro, his father-in-law. Peter would have died a fisherman if not for the fact that he followed Jesus.

May you be connected to people that will help you to go beyond the limits in your life in the name of Jesus name.

Beyond the limit 4

“And it came to pass after this, that Benhadad king of Syria gathered all his host, and went up, and besieged Samaria.” 2 Kings 6:24

Some limits are demonically imposed. They are like spiritual roadblocks whose presence is to frustrate the physical efforts of a person. This operates as “thou shall not” and are enforced by the power of darkness. To go beyond this kind of limit, at least one of three things is needed: The anointing, the wisdom of God or prophetic prayers.

“And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.” Isaiah 10:27

“And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram's horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him.” Joshua 6:5

“Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.” Ezekiel 37:4

The anointing, at any time, can destroy every demonic limitation. A contact with the power of God will always break the power of the enemy. God can give you wisdom to know what to do to break the limit off your life. He told Joshua and Israel to match around Jericho walls seven days and to shout. This wisdom sank the Jericho wall. He told Moses to use the rod in his hand to divide the red sea. Ezekiel was instructed to prophesy upon the dry bones, you could pray prophetically or even prophesy to remove any form of limitation in your life.

The limit the enemy says you cannot cross; go beyond the limit in the name of Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I engage the power and the wisdom of God to go beyond the limit in my life in Jesus name.

Beyond the limit 3

“And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.” Luke 2:52

Some limits will be in our lives because they are indications of a need to grow. You will only go beyond such limits if you work on yourself.  You may need to read more books, attend some classes, listen to people who are operating above the limits you are trying to cross. You may need to spend more time with God to gain the wisdom, the anointing and the revelation needed to go beyond the limit. Most times limits are the expression of our capabilities.

“And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.” Matthew 25:15

“For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.” Romans 12:3

In the parable of talents, every man determined what he received. The ability of each man set the limit on what he received. The man who received one could have received two if he had more ability. Similarly, spiritual limits are set by the measure of our faith. If we have more faith, we can get more results and move above limits in our lives. As this year is running to an end, work on yourself to move above the limit you have observed in any area of your life.

May the power, the wisdom, and the favor to move above the limit be released upon you in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God let me increase in wisdom and stature and in favor with You and man in Jesus name.

Beyond the limit 2

“And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus” Matthew 14:29

Can you hear what God is saying to you? Can you believe His word? Man’s limitation is what he has heard and believed. If you want to go beyond the limit, you must hear and believe words that have extended the limit. Do not let your negative experiences or the words of a man set a limit for your life. Many times what you can see is not all that is available to see. You must go to God and get a word from Him. Most importantly, you must guard your heart against words that put limits on your life.

“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” Proverbs 4:23

“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.” Proverbs 23:7

Jesus told Peter to come on the water. He believed and did. We all know that man does not walk on water but because he heard God and believed Him, He did. If you want to go beyond the limit, you must change what you are hearing. If you believe, all things are possible for you. You can do all things through Christ who provides you with strength. If you have it in your heart then it is in your life. Whatever a man can conceive and believe, he can experience.

May the word that puts a limit on you die, may the word that extends the limit live in Jesus name. May you believe God for new and greater things in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God open my heart to receive your word and to believe your word for my destiny in Jesus name.

Beyond the limit 1

"“How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?”" Luke 1:34 (NIV)

Can it still happen despite my human limitation? Can I have results that are bigger than my strength and ability? Can it still happen despite the fact that I have no human resources to make it happen?  The answer is YES. This is one of the revelations of the birth of Jesus. We are in the season of celebration of the birth of Jesus right now. Mary said, I am a virgin, how can I be pregnant when there is such huge limitation? The Angel told her that she should not worry about her limitation, but should connect to the Holy Ghost.

“The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.” Luke 1:35 (NIV)

“For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.” Philippians 2:13 (KJV)

You can get supernatural results through the power of the Holy Ghost. May be you have tried and failed. May be you have recognized that you do not really have what it takes to make your goal happen. I have a good news for you. It can still happen, if you will allow the Holy Spirit to work it out through you. If you are a Christian, God desires that you should do things that are beyond your limit through His power that is at work in you. If the Holy Spirt is in you, you have what it takes to break the limits. Align yourself with the purpose of God for your life and see Him work out the supernatural through you.

May you have the fullness of God’s spirit in your life in Jesus name.

Victory over all forms of death 5

" But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." Matthew 4:4

You shall live and not die in Jesus name. Your marriage shall live, your business shall live. Your finances shall live. Your children shall live. There shall be no death in any area of your life in Jesus name. You need three kinds of food to have victory over all forms of death. You are three in one, you are a spirit, you have a soul and you live in a body. Each must be fed adequately for you to have victory over all forms of death. You need a balanced diet for your body. You need correct information for your soul. You need the revelation of God’s word for your spirit. Most issues in life can be solved by receiving the correct information.

“And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.” Exodus 15:25

“My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.” Proverbs 4:20-22

You cannot hear God and not live. The voice of the Lord is the origin of faith. And when faith is in place, life is in place, so also the victory over all forms of death is in place. Perhaps you are going through a difficult situation right now, I decree that you shall come out of it victoriously in Jesus name. There is a word from the Lord for you in every situation. If you can hear His voice and respond positively you shall live and not die.

May you hunger after the voice of the Lord and may you hear Him daily Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I shall not die, I shall live and testify to the faithfulness of God in Jesus name.

Victory over all forms of death 4

"For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death." Romans 8:2

Death will not have dominion over you because the law of the spirit of life is in operation in your life. There are laws that operate in this three-dimensional world. If these laws are violated the consequence is death in any form unless there is a greater law in operation to deal with the situation. An upward lift force must overcome the force of gravity otherwise, an airplane will not fly in the air.

“And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand. And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live. And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm. Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god.” Acts 28:3-6

The venom of the viper could not kill Paul because the power of God was working in him to kill the death that the viper brought into him. Paul was walking in obedience to God and had received a word from God so a greater law was at work in his life. When you yield yourself to God through Jesus Christ, the law of the spirit will be in operation in your life. Then you can deal with Satan’s arrows of death in any form. You can speak to your dry bones to rise again. You can believe God for a total turnaround in every area of your life. You can shake off the beast from your marriage, your business, your career and your destiny in the name of Jesus.

May the poison of death be destroyed in every area of your life in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I invoke the law of the spirit of life over the law of sin and death in every area of my life in Jesus name.

Victory over all forms of death 3

"For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ." Romans 5:17

Death shall be far from you, abundant grace and righteousness are your portions in Jesus name. Let us talk more about the issue of doubt and disobedience. This is because they are the keys that satan used to bring death into the man. Doubt and disobedience work together. You cannot disobey God until you have doubted Him. Both doubt and disobedience are acts of foolishness that make death come on man. If you are able to deal with doubt and disobedience you cannot die cheaply, your business cannot die, your destiny cannot die, your career cannot die. Everything you do on earth has spiritual implications. As a child of God, you must not be blind to the things of the spirit.

“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:32

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” Hosea 4:6

Life is designed in the kingdom of God while death is designed in the kingdom of satan. If you are able to sense what the kingdom of God is saying and you respond in faith and obey God, you will experience life. That is why the only way to escape spiritual death is to hear the gospel, believe the gospel and obey the gospel! To experience prosperity it is the same thing because prosperity is financial life, poverty is financial death. To experience life you must believe God and you must obey Him.  We are in a world driven by information and revelation. Your response to the truth is the key to life. The just shall live by faith. I say it this: way the just shall die without faith. Miracles happen through faith. Everything depends on you removing all forms of ignorance from your life. Remove spiritual and physical ignorance from your life to cross from death into life.

I see you enjoying victory over all forms of death through faith and obedience to God in Jesus name.

Victory over all forms of death 2

"Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not come under judgment. Indeed, he has crossed over from death to life." John 5:24

The hold of death is broken over every area of your life in Jesus name. The Lord shall replace any situation of death with life. Spiritual death is separation from God. Any man or woman who is not having a relationship with God is dead. Physical death is the separation of the spirit from the body.  Now there are other forms of death. Sickness if a form of death, where the body is not functioning properly. If there is a marital death in a man, it is either the man is struggling to get married or it is a regular war in his marriage. Academic death is when someone is trying to pass an exam, or cross an academic level, but it seems like he cannot cross it, or cannot achieve academic success. Business death is when the business is not performing, or is not bringing profit. Death is a state of ineffectiveness. Anything that is not working is in a state of death. May the power of God rescue you from any form of death in Jesus name.

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” John 10:10

“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” Romans 8:11

All forms of death are primarily planned in the kingdom of darkness but it requires the foolishness or the ignorance of man to make it happen. The first spiritual death happened to Adam and Eve. What did Satan do? He first told them to doubt God. Any time a man doubts God, he is permitting a form of death. The second thing Satan did was to cause them to disobey God and that is an act of foolishness. Those were the two things the devil did to bring death upon Adam and Eve, and to introduce death into man. However, thank God, Jesus undid what Satan did and we have life again and for evermore through our faith in Jesus Christ.

May you trust and obey God in every area of your life in Jesus name. May the power of death be broken in every area of your life in Jesus name.

Victory over all forms of death 1

"And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations. He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it." Isaiah 25:7-8

You shall not die but live to declare the glory of God in Jesus name. Your business shall not die. Your career shall not die. Your marriage shall not die. Your loved ones shall not die. No good thing shall die in your life in Jesus name. The seed and fruit of the enemy shall be destroyed in your life in Jesus name. Death is the greatest enemy of destiny. Death is the weapon of Satan against men. Death thrives on the ignorance of men. It is what a man does not know that kills him.  All forms of death, whether physical or spiritual, is a spiritual transaction facilitated on earth by the foolishness and/or ignorance of man. Our scriptural text says in order to destroy death, God is going to destroy the covering cast over the people. God will deal with ignorance of the people first and then swallow up death. Until ignorance is dealt with, death will still continue to sting men.

“I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” Psalm 118:19

“With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.” Psalm 91:16

Let me share a testimony of something that happened in 2011 in Nigeria. One of our Elders called me, he said, “I am in the hospital my son is sick, please come.” On getting there, for the first time in my life, I saw the spirit of a man trying to come out of him. I could see how the spirit of the boy would want to come out of him, then we prayed his spirit back into him. We fought the battle for over one hour, eventually, we won. And less than twenty-four hours later the paternal grandmother of the boy died. In other words, there was a spiritual transaction to replace the soul of the boy with the grandmother’s but the power of prayer stopped her. Anytime you don’t know what is going on in the spirit you are likely to act in ignorance and death can set in.

May your eyes be opened. May the work of the wicked be stopped in your life in Jesus name.

Walking in your God-given victory 6

"...but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits." Daniel 11:32b.

If you know God, you will trust Him. If you trust God, you will walk in the victory He has given you. You must not only know, but you must also grow in the knowledge of God for you to continually walk in victory. When you grow in knowledge, you grow in the grace and in the ability to do great exploit. The depth of your knowledge of God puts you in charge and gives you boldness.

“Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God.” 1 Samuel 17:36

“For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:” Job 19:25

“For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.” 2 Tim 1:12

Your knowledge of God will affect your thinking, your belief, your spoken words, and your actions. These are what determine the results of your life.  As a man thinks in his heart so is he. All things are possible for him that believes. Your word will bring you either justification or condemnation. Faith is not complete without action.  Therefore, it does not matter the magnitude of your challenges if you know God and walk in that knowledge, victory is guaranteed.

Walking in your God-given victory 5

 “And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. …...” Luke 12:47-48

The song of victory is preceded by the cry of battles. Challenges come to all but your victory is guaranteed as a child of God. You must walk in your God-given victory. The only reason why a child of God can be beaten by life’s challenges is if he or she is out of the will of God.  This can happen if you don’t know God’s will or you know but don’t do it. Our text says that the servant who knew the Lord’s will and did not do it would be beaten with many stripes while the one who did not know shall be beaten with few stripes. Either way, the person gets beaten. I do not want to be beaten in the battle of life, whether with few stripes or many. I don’t think you want to be beaten either. So what should you do? Seek to know the face of God in every situation you find yourself and do whatever He tells you.

“Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:  And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.  And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.” Matthew 7:24-27

You will always enjoy God’s covering, protection and security when you deliberately live in His will for your life and in obedience to Him.

Walking in your God-given victory 4

 “Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm.” Proverbs 13:20

I mentioned the importance of faith in the first message on walking in your God-given victory. Faith is necessary in life’s journey. The bible says the just shall live by faith. You will need to keep friends who encourage your faith if you really want to walk in victory. The company you keep can determine whether you are a fool or a wise person; so also it can determine whether you will live in faith or unbelief.

“And David said, What have I now done? Is there not a cause?  And he turned from him toward another, and spake after the same manner: and the people answered him again after the former manner.” 1 Samuel 17:29-30

“Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.” John 20:27

If a person is not encouraging you to trust God, he will make you to suffer harm. This is because faith is key for you to walk in victory. Friendship is by choice and it is detrimental to be sentimental. You may have to turn away from people who discourage you from faith as David turned away from Eliab, so that you can enjoy your victory in God. Examine the company you are keeping today and determine whether you are a fool or a wise person. If you want to have a victorious life, you will have to choose friends who will encourage your faith in God, in yourself and in the vision that God has given you. If you are married to a spouse who does not encourage your faith, you will need to work on yourself and your spouse, and ask God to help you. Getting a family friend who can help both of you to grow in faith is important.

Walking in your God-given victory 3

“He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.”  Romans 4:20-21.

Hold onto God’s promises until they manifest if you want to walk in your God-given victory. Be persuaded (convincingly convinced) that God is able to do what He promised. Trusting God and His word is a major component of our victorious walk in Him. I love the song we usually sang in those days:

He has promised, He will never fail.

I will trust in Him, I will trust in Him

He has promised, He will never fail.

His faithfulness is forevermore; His faithfulness is forevermore.

Beloved, don’t give up trusting God if you want to enjoy the victory He has given you. His promises are yes and amen, they will come to pass.

“God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” Numbers 23:19

“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” Isaiah 55:11

Abraham received the promised child so you will receive your own. You will need to learn how to enjoy God’s promises until you see the manifestation. Imagine that a rich man has promised you certain amount to do your business. You will always act as if you already have the money and be joyful if you know that the man has the money and keeps his promises. Beloved, God is capable and also keeps His words so be expectant. Expectation has the power to keep you excited until manifestation.

May you have confident in God’s word and enjoy His victory in your life in Jesus name.
