“And Caleb stilled the people before Moses,
and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to
overcome it. But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up
against the people; for they are stronger than we.” Number 13:30-31
Remaining positive to the promise of God in
the face of great and difficult opposition is key to realizing the promises.
God is bigger than the opposition. God is true to His word and committed to His
promises.
Insist on seeing the fulfillment of what God
has promised you and the opposition will give way. Caleb told the people to
remain positive by neglecting the giants and believing God. He got the Promised
Land despite the fact that the giants were there and truly stronger than the
people.
“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the
world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” 1
John 5:4
“Ye are of God, little children, and have
overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the
world.” 1 John 4:4
Think of these two truth : (1) anything that is
born of God has the potential to overcome any opposition in this world. (2) God
in you is greater than all the forces of hell in this world. If you believe these
two biblical truth then you can remain positive that the promises of God will
come to pass in your life. That you will not be swallowed up in your present
challenges.
May you be confident in God’s promises despite
the challenges facing you in Jesus name.
Prayer
for today: I pray victory into my life in this present situation;
I receive the fulfilment of God’s promises in Jesus name.
