Self esteem

“Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.” Joshua 1:6
" And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him, and said unto him, The Lord is with thee, thou mighty man of valour.” Judges 6:12

How do you see yourself? You need to have a correct perspective of yourself in order to execute your God’s given assignments. God sees you as His image. If God cannot fail, you cannot fail. If God cannot be defeated, you cannot be defeated. If all things are possible with God, all things are possible with you. Never doubt your God’s given ability and grace.

Your past does not matter; God has a glorious future for you. I discovered from the scriptures that God always made sure that the man He wanted to use had the right perspective of himself. He told Joshua to be strong and courageous. He told a timid Gideon that he was a man of valour. Your situation does not determine who you are and what you can do. You have what it takes to turn the situation around inside you. God sees you as a co-creator with him, a winner, and a success. Do not see yourself less than the way God sees you.

I see you becoming what God wants you to be in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: O God help me to see myself the way you see me in Jesus name.

Still on prayer….

"And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.” 1 John 5:14-15
Pray from the answer and pray with confidence.
Once you have established your request through His word, you have aligned your request with His will. This is what I called praying from the answer. Your answer is guaranteed because God cannot deny His words. The fact that you are praying according to His will gives you confidence. And your confidence cannot go without reward. Hebrews 11:35 say, “Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.”
I have seen it over and over again that praying with confidence becomes easy when you are convinced that it is what God wants. Also when you spend time in personal fellowship with Him you will not only develop confidence but you will be sensitive to His will. Lastly, you can always find your answer first in the bible and then build confidence to pray through.
“Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.” Acts 4:13
“If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” John15:7.
Let me quickly says this: never doubt the will of God to heal you, to bless you and to answer your prayer if you belong to Him.
I see God showing Himself mighty on your behalf in every situation in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: Father I declare I have confidence to come before your throne of mercy and obtain help at all times in Jesus name.

Pray until what you expect happens

“And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain.  So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees, And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, There is nothing. And he said, Go again seven times. And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man's hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down that the rain stop thee not.” 1 Kings 18:41-44
The weapon of prayer cannot fail unless you stop praying before your breakthrough. Once you start praying, your breakthrough begins. You must persist in prayer to see your desired result.
Elijah was used as an example of a man whose prayer was effectual and fervent in the new testament (James 5). But he did not get answers to some of his prayers immediately. In our text today, after Elijah declared to Ahab that rain was coming, he had to pray seven times before the rain came. Jesus even in Luke 18 gave a parable to inform us to persist in prayer until our answers come.
Beloved, hear the word of the Lord, your answer is coming, pray until you receive it.
Prayer for today: I receive grace not to give up in prayer, I receive grace to obtain my requests in prayer in Jesus name.

Choose to pray

“Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God.” Philippians 4:6.(AMP)
Choose to pray and not to worry. Worry is like a rocking chair; it keeps you busy but takes you nowhere. Worry is energy consuming but achieving zero result. Worry is easy but yet destructive. Prayer is not easy but always brings results. Worry about nothing, pray about everything. Worry is acceptance of defeat; prayer is acceptance of victory.
If no one is willing to listen to you, there is a God who will not only listen but will help you through the situation. If everyone has giving up on you, there is a God who is willing to give you as many chances as you need. If people have written you off, there is a God who believes in you.
“Ask and keep on asking and it will be given to you; seek and keep on seeking and you will find; knock and keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who keeps on asking receives, and he who keeps on seeking finds, and to him who keeps on knocking, it will be opened.” Mathew 7:7-8 (AMP)
God asked me to tell you, stop worrying, start praying.
Prayer for today: O God help me to pray and not to worry; intervene in the situations that are giving me burdens in Jesus name.

When the church prays

“Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.” Acts 12:5
The only thing the church will not achieve, attain, obtain or possess is the thing she is not willing to constantly pray for. When the church prays, wickedness is broken, contrary authority is subdued, righteousness prevails. The prayer of the church is stronger than the authority of human kings no matter how powerful they are.
In our text today, the church prayed without ceasing for the release of Peter. Note that the chapter opened with the arrest of Judah who Herod killed because the church did nothing about it. And when Herod found that the enemies were pleased, he proceeded to arrest Peter also so that he could kill him. The church suddenly woke up and prayed. Despite the fact that Peter was kept in a way that humanly speaking it was impossible for him to come out. God rescued him. He was surprised so also was the praying church.
The good news is that it takes only two to make the church. Mathew 18:20, “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” If at least two can gather and pray without ceasing, destiny of nations can be changed, deliverance can be obtained.
May God raise a praying church in every nation of the world in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: O God arise and put passion for constant and fervent prayer in your church in Jesus name.

Be full of these things

“If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth: and if the tree fall toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falleth, there it shall be.” Ecclesiastes 11:3
In the school of destiny, your results are consequent of your actions. When you are full of certain actions, destiny fulfilment is guaranteed. I want to share four of them. Our text says, when the clouds be full of rain, then the earth would be blessed with water.
1.         Be prayerful. Pray at all times, for little things and for big things; for little worries and for big worries. Prayer can be done at all times, anywhere and everywhere. It becomes easy if you can speak in tongues. When the result of prayers comes, you will not be able to handle them. It will usher you into miracles, glory and breakthrough that you cannot explain. Paul says in 1 Thessalonians 5:17, “Pray without ceasing.”
2.         Be praiseful.  Learn to praise God for who He is at all times. God has many attributes for which you can praise Him. When you are full of His praise you will be full of His presence. Acts 16:25-26 says, “And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.”
3.         Be thankful. Thank God for small things and for big things. Thank God for everything. If you are thankful you position yourself for more of His blessings. Psalm 100:4 says, “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.”
4.         Be seedful. If you are seed full, you will be harvest full. Seedtime is painful but harvest time is joyful. Psalms 126:6 says, “He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.”
I see your life full of God’s glory and power in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: I receive grace to do what I need to do to fulfill destiny in Jesus name.

Under attacks? 3

“No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.” Isaiah 54:17
The greatest attack any man will go through on earth is the attack of the tongue. Tongue carries the power of life and death. Many have been wounded and subsequently killed when the tongue was used against them by the enemy. Many have been made alive when those that are for them have used tongues for them. Tongues are used for enchantment, divination, curses, manipulations and conspiracies. Tongues are also used for blessing and for positive anointed words. In the realm of the spirit, everything is a living thing; all things talk and hear. So when you are under attack, you must know how to use your tongue to frustrate the tongue of the enemy and to appropriate the force of life on yourself.
Consider the following scriptures:
“And the Philistine said unto David, Am I a dog, that thou comest to me with staves? And the Philistine cursed David by his gods.” 1 samuel 17:43
“Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defiled. This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcasses of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.” 1 Samuel 17:45-46
“And one told David, saying, Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom. And David said, O Lord, I pray thee, turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness.” 2 Samuel 15:31
“And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursed is withered away.” Mark 11:21
Every weapon that the enemy is using against you, I curse them to die in Jesus name. Receive victory over ever attack in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: I condemn every tongue that is against me in the name of Jesus.

Under attacks? 2

“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Luke 10:19
“For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.” Luke 21:15
You have a word and a promise to handle your attacks and attackers. The word and the promises of God are yes and amen. God is fully committed to His words and His promises.
He has given you power over the attackers, just reach out and take the power. Jesus likened the attacks and the attackers to scorpions and serpents. Those are deadly enemies but He said, He had given you power over them. He has promised to give you a wisdom and a mouth that is beyond your adversaries, claim it. Some enemies are like Ahithophel, whose counsel can finish you. But Jesus said, don’t worry about them, I will give you a mouth and the wisdom to subdue them.
When you are under attack, spiritually and physically, you need power. When there is conspiracy against you, you need both wisdom and a mouth.
What them must you do? Ask God to anoint you with the Holy Ghost and power in Jesus name. Ask God also to give a mouth that your adversary cannot handle and a wisdom they cannot resist.
I decree that you have what it takes to subdue the attacks and the attackers in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: I receive power, wisdom and a mouth to deal with any attack that is against me in Jesus name.

Under attacks? 1

“Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.” Isaiah 54:15
You are too important for the enemy to leave alone! It is normal for the enemy to attack you, and also it is normal for you to win against your enemy. In a game of soccer, a star cannot be left alone particularly if he has the ball. You are a star difficult for the enemy to neglect. The good news is that either way you have been programmed to win.
“Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” Mathew 5:10. It seems to me that we all need the enemy to attack and persecute us for us to get into our promised land.
Consider these scriptures:
“Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.” Daniel 6:4
“Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams.” Genesis 37:20
“And when it was day, certain of the Jews banded together, and bound themselves under a curse, saying that they would neither eat nor drink till they had killed Paul.” Acts 23:12
When you are under attack know that God will surely deliver, give us victory and then promote you to the next level. Any time the enemy attacks you know that promotion is coming.
“Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, in the province of Babylon.” Daniel 3:30.
I decree that you shall be stronger and wiser than your enemies in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: O God make me stronger and wiser than my adversaries in Jesus name.

It can only get better!

“And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him, And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.” Acts 7:9-10
With God, things can only get better.
Let your walk with God be consistent and progressive. Don’t look at the wind, don’t look at the circumstances but be consistent with God. If you do, things can only get better.
The most important thing in your walk with God is fellowship with Him. Daily, consistent fellowship with Him, will help you to recognize His voice and walk in His ways. The best Christians know and walk in God’s way. Psalm 103:7 says, “He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.” If you learn to know His voice and walk in His way, you will live victoriously and fulfill destiny in life.
Joseph started as a slave and grew to become a Prime Minister despite difficult circumstances he went through because he was growing with and in God. His story was similar to that of David and Daniel. The presence of Jesus at the marriage of Cana in Galilee brought the best when the wine was finished. When Jesus is involved in your life, the best is reserved for the last, you grow from the worst to the best (John 2:1-10). In the things of the spirit, grace is directly proportion to knowledge. Knowledge grows with fellowship while grace grows with knowledge.
I ask God to give you passion for daily and consistent fellowship with Him. Your life will get better daily in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: O God let me know you deeper, let me walk with you higher and let my life get better in Jesus name.

Secured, protected and blessed!

“Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.” Job 1:10.
I believe you are going to end this year well because as a child of God, you are secured, protected and blessed. Do you believe this? You should because it is going to be unto you according to your faith. God is not a respecter of person, what He does for a person, He would do for another. If He has done it before, He would do it again. Believe it and declare it to connect with it. 2 Corinthians 4:13 says, “We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;”
The implications of our text this morning are:
1.              You cannot be wounded by your enemies.
2.              You cannot fail.
3.              You cannot go down.
Beloved, stay in the covenant. Be committed to God and live in obedience to Him. He can take care of you. Paul says in 2 Timothy 1:12b, “…… for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.”
I decree that you will see the manifestation of this word in your life in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: I decree I am secured, protected and blessed in Jesus name.

Due season

“Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:” 1 Peter 5:6
“And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.” Mathew 23:12
When you are due, you cannot be denied.
There is a time to humble yourself and get your hands dirty with necessary hard work. There is a time for reward and lifting. One precedes the other. For someone reading this message, God has seen your season of humility and hard work, your due time has come, your season of manifestation is here. When you sincerely serve God and the people, God will not deny you at the due season. Learn to put in your best whether you know that someone is watching or not. Let me assure you someone is watching you that you don’t know. If no man is watching you, God is.
“And Saul said unto his servants, Provide me now a man that can play well, and bring him to me. Then answered one of the servants, and said, Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, that is cunning in playing, and a mighty valiant man, and a man of war, and prudent in matters, and a comely person, and the Lord is with him.” 1 Samuel 16:17-18.
Let me ask you, what are your contributions in the church you attend? Also, what are your contributions in your place of work? What are your contribution in the community you have found yourself? Are you still thinking that some assignments are not for you and you are too big for them? When you are too big for certain assignments, you will also be too small for the reward!
You will not miss your season of lifting in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: My season of lifting, manifest in Jesus name.

How to live by faith

“For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.” Romans 1:17
“(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)” 2 Corinthians 5:7
When you live by faith, nothing is a threat to you on earth. Can you imagine the kind of confidence you have when you know that there is enough money in your bank account? This is similar but not comparable to the confidence you experience when you have faith in God. Faith is powerful enough to take care of all human problems, be it financial, health or otherwise.  Faith compels God to manifest in the realm of man.
Faith is the most current and universal currency in the world. Anyone who has faith rules anywhere in the world. There are four important ingredients of living by faith.
Hunger for God’s word: The bible says in Romans 10:17, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” God must have spoken; you must have heard if you want to live by faith. God is always speaking but you must learn to tune in. Meditation on the word, praying, quiet time, fellowship, attendance of service must be directed towards hearing God.
Acting on God’s word: God told Abraham to leave, he left. God told him to go to a mountain to sacrifice his son he did. Jesus told Peter to come on water he did. Jesus told the people at the marriage of Cana of Galilee to fetch water into the pot they did. Faith is both visible and active.
Faith speaking: Mathew 17:20 says, “And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.”
Faith praying. Mark 11:24 says,” herefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”
I see you walking in miracles because you are living by faith in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: I walk by faith and not by sight. God is speaking to me, I am hearing Him and acting on His word in Jesus name.

There is a room for you!

“And he removed from thence, and digged another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it Rehoboth; and he said, For now the Lord hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.” Genesis 26:22.
God has a room for you, until you find it, there cannot be fruitfulness. In order to locate your own room there are few things you need to know and do.
1.              A life without goals is stagnant while a life with wrong goals is frustrating.
2.              You need to identify your uniqueness, your passion, your gift and set your goals based on them.
3.              You are good at something, find it and pursue it with the whole of your heart and mind.
4.              If you have found what you should pursue with your life, be prepared for several attempts until you succeed.
5.              The fact that there are challenges does not mean that you are not in the right place doing the right thing.
6.              If you are pursuing the right goals and do not give up, you will eventually land in the room God has made for you.
Isaac was instructed by God to stay in Gerar despite the famine. He stayed and prospered in the land. When he started digging wells the enemy opposed and strove with him but he continued until God made room for him.
I sense in my spirit that you are about to shine, your effort is about to yield a breakthrough because God is making room for you in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: O God arise and make room for my breakthrough and manifestation in Jesus name.

Divine sanitation

“Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.” John 14:30

“And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.  And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:  And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables; And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise.” John 2:13-16.
Don’t keep anything that belongs to satan with you if you want to enjoy your Christian life. Whether in the house you are living or in your body, don’t permit any property of satan. If satan finds his property anywhere, he will come in and work there. And I tell you his work is not good. The bible says, he steals, kills and destroys.
Can you believe that he was looking for something in Jesus? But he could not find anything. He was looking for something that would permit him to come in and hinder the work of our salvation but he found nothing.
Jesus dealt with the sellers of oxen, sheep and doves and the changers of the money in the temple with a scourge to restore the dignity of the temple. He drove them out with notable zeal. This is because when unwanted guests are welcome in a place, they change the outlook and effects of the place. Don’t permit the work of the flesh, fear, unbelief, hatred, lies, fornication and such in your life. They are the properties of the devil but your body is the temple of God.

May the power of the blood of Jesus sanitize your body. May satan and his cohorts not find a place in your life in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: Just as satan had nothing in Jesus, he shall have nothing in me in Jesus name.

Discipline and obedience

“If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:” Isaiah 1:19

Sacrifice is the price tag for anything worthwhile. If it is needed, it will cost you something. Nothing falls on your laps without doing anything. If you want it, it is your duty to find out how much it costs and you pay. Discipline and obedience are necessary sacrificial steps you must take if you want anything in both spiritual and physical situations.

If you are willing you will discipline yourself to do what must be done at all cost. A willing student will not sleep until he has finished the assignment and prepared for the test. A willing business person will wake up on time to get to work. Discipline means telling your body what to do and not the other way round. Missing some meals and sleep will not kill you neither will hard work kill you.

Obedience has to do with specific instructions given to you to obtain a goal or desire.  It also has to do with the information you have received to achieve your goal. To obey is to respond positively to the information you have heard and believed. No information brings profit unless you do something about it. I discovered it is easier to obtain information than to do it. Most people have enough information to change their lives but their unresponsiveness is stagnating their lives.

I degree that the remain months this year will count positively for you; you will achieve your goals in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: O God help me to do what I need to do to achieve my goals in Jesus name.

Breakthrough

“And the three mighty men BRAKE THROUGH the host of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well of Bethlehem, that was by the gate, and took it, and brought it to David: nevertheless he would not drink thereof, but poured it out unto the Lord.” 2 Samuel 23:16 (KJV)

Any time the word breakthrough was mentioned in the bible, a major obstacle had been overcome. Beloved, if you facing a major or minor obstacle in your progress, I decree a breakthrough testimony in Jesus name.

“And when they could not come near Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was. So when they had BROKEN THROUGH, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying.” Mark 2:4 (NKJV)

Some barriers are like the red sea and the Jericho walls. You need divine intervention and instructions to breakthrough such. At such, faith in God, prayer of faith, sensitivity to God’s voice, prophetic declaration and prayer of agreement are necessary instruments to invoke the power of God and get through them. Perhaps you are in such situation, I decree breakthrough for you in Jesus name. Do not give upon, do not turn back, speak to God and go through it.

I see you breaking through all barriers, physical and spiritual, in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: O God arise and deal with Jericho walls and red sea problems in my life, give me breakthrough that I may rejoice in you in Jesus name.

Repairing the broken hedges

“He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him.” Ecclesiastes 10:8

Beloved, you are covered as child of God, there is an hedge around you that protects you from satanic (serpent) attacks (Job 1:10) Unless the hedge is broken you are not vulnerable. There are four major things that can break the hedge: fear, unbelief, un-forgiveness and unrepentance. You must watch out for these in your life. If the hedge is broken, you must do four things to repair the broken hedge.

1.              Forgive whosoever has offended you. Mathew 6:12 says, “And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.”

2.              Repent and confess any known sin. 1 John 1:9,” If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

3.              Deal with any doubt of God in your life. Ask God to kill doubt in your life and help you to believe. Mark 9:24 says, “And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.”

4.              Deal with any fear in your life. Cry unto God if you are afraid of anything. Mathew 14:30 say, “But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.”

May the broken hedges in your life be repaired. May you be covered always by the blood of Jesus.

Prayer for today: Oh God protect me from every evil attack as the year is running to an end in Jesus name.

Reliable burden bearer

“Cast your burden on the Lord, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.” Psalm 55:2

“casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7

Whatever burden you have, I have good news for you, there is a personality who is willing to bear the burden for you. He is a trusted burden bearer. Three big Nations came against Jehoshaphat and Israel in 2 Chronicles 20, God said to them, “don’t worry about it, you would not need to fight, I am taking over.” When Moses wanted to cry to Him in Exodus 14, He said to him, “you don’t need to cry to me just stretch the rod in your hand and part the sea.” He only had to take the hand of Peter in Mathew 14 for both of them to walk on water despite the fact that the wind was still boisterous. Trust Him with your burden, whatever it is, He will bear it for you.

Hear what He is saying to you:

“For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’” Isaiah 41:13

“Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?” Mathew 6:25

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” Mathew 11:28-29

As you go to church this morning, talk to Him about your situation and then stop worrying about it. Give Him praise believing that He is in control. Do whatever He tells you to do.

Your burdens are lifted in Jesus name.

Seed of mercy

“Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.” Mathew 5:7

Mercy is an harvest. It responds to the seeds of mercy. If you are full of mercy you cannot live without enjoying mercy. If you want others to show you mercy, you must show mercy to people. Have you ever thought of how many people would run around for you if you need help?  If you have not shown mercy and been available to help others, you may be alone when you need people. Proverbs 11:17 says, “The merciful man doeth good to his own soul: but he that is cruel troubleth his own flesh.” One way to show mercy is your respond to the needy, the orphans and the widows. If you have such around you, it gives you a great land of opportunity to show your seeds of mercy for a timely harvest of mercy in your life. Proverbs 11:25, “the liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.”

No matter how self-sufficient or great you think you are, you may need the mercy of someone someday. At such time, your seed of mercy will count.

May you be full of mercy in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: O God help me to be merciful so that I can obtain mercy in Jesus name.

Covenant and obedience

“And he said, Hagar, Sarai's maid, whence camest thou? and whither wilt thou go? And she said, I flee from the face of my mistress Sarai.  And the angel of the Lord said unto her, Return to thy mistress, and submit thyself under her hands.  And the angel of the Lord said unto her, I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude.” Genesis 18:8-10

Covenants are activated by obedience.

Sarah had encouraged Abraham to go into Hagar because of her delay in child bearing. The moment Hagar saw that she was pregnant she revolted against Sarah her master. Eventually she had to flee because of the pressure from Sarah. However, God recognized the child as that of Abraham and as such he was a partaker of Abrahamic covenant and blessing. Hagar was going to make her son missed this because of her pride. An angel appeared to her and told her to swallow her pride and submit to Sarah. She obeyed, as a result, her son and his generation became blessed.

Beloved, obedience is a key factor to enjoy God’s covenant even the new covenant which is better than the old and sealed by the blood of Jesus. Whatever it may cost you, walk in obedience so that you and your coming generation shall be blessed.

May you be blessed in all your ways in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: O God help me to walk in obedience to your commandments and enjoy the blessing you have for me in Jesus name.

The wise judgement of Solomon

“And all Israel heard of the judgment which the king had judged; and they feared the king: for they saw that the wisdom of God was in him, to do judgment.” 1 Kings 3:28
Beloved, in your daily life, you will have to judge situations and people right in order to make decisions that will affect your life and the people around you. For this to be done, you need the wisdom of God.
Solomon asked God for wisdom knowing fully well that his decisions and judgement would affect the people of Israel. The first situation that confronted him was that of two women who slept at night. One slept badly to kill her son. The other slept badly to the extent that her life son was exchanged for the dead one and she knew it not. Both women wanted the living child. Solomon asked that the living child should be divided into two for both of them to share. The owner of the living child said they should give the child to the other woman because she did not want her child to be killed; but the owner of the dead child did not mind, she said the living child should be killed. Solomon used this to know who owns the living child.
Beloved, the bible says that greater than Solomon is here. You have Jesus inside of you and so you carry the wisdom and the power of God to discern and make wise judgement. Some people will come to deceive you and cheat you of your money and valuables. Some business will come which are good for you to invest in while some will come to take away your money. You must operate in the wisdom of God to know what to do. Apart from this, you must deal wisely in all areas of life in order to avoid the heartache of bad decisions.
May you operate in the wisdom of God, may sound discernment be found in you in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: O God lead me by the way that I should go and teach me to make profit in Jesus name.

The business model of Solomon

“And Solomon had horses imported from Egypt and Keveh; the king’s merchants bought them in Keveh at the current price. They also acquired and imported from Egypt a chariot for six hundred shekels of silver, and a horse for one hundred and fifty; thus, through their agents, they exported them to all the kings of the Hittites and the kings of Syria.” 1 Chronicles 1:16-17

God has a business for you. God wants you prosperous.

I want to share with you this morning the business model of Solomon which came as a result of the wisdom he received from God. Solomon asked God to give him wisdom and knowledge to lead the people of Israel and God heard him. God gave him in addition to wisdom, riches, wealth and honour.

Solomon was the first to establish an import and exporting business through an agency. He would import horses from Egypt and Keveh at the current price and export them to the kings of Hitites and Syria using agents. He became successful and wealthy using this business model.

I believe God has a business for you to profit you and the kingdom if you would ask Him. May your eyes be opened. May you receive an idea from God. May your steps be ordered by God in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: O God, give me wisdom and understanding to establish a profitable business in Jesus name.

God is counting on you

“How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!” Romans 10:14-15

The most important business of God is soul winning and God is counting on you. A sinner needs to believe in the saving grace available in Jesus but he cannot unless someone tells him. God has committed the business of telling him to you, don’t fail God!

If that your friend should die without Jesus, he will spend eternity in hell fire. Eternity is life without end and hell is a place of torment. No one should go to hell; the sacrificial death and the miraculous resurrection of Jesus was meant to rescue everyone from eternal punishment in hell. The greatest love you can show to your sinner friend, as a born again Christian, is to invite him to Jesus. Heaven rejoices when a sinner is converted. Luke 15:10 says, “Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.” Luke 19:9-10 says, “And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham. For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.”

May God count you profitable in soul wining in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I break the power of hell and death over (mention the name of the person you are praying for) in Jesus name. Let him or her be saved today in Jesus name.

God meant what He said!

“God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” Numbers 23:19

If you have heard God, then you have a breakthrough. God is committed to His word. His words and His promises are yea and amen. If you have received a word from the Lord, be confident that He will fulfill it.

When we are used to a situation that we are not really comfortable with and suddenly we receive a word from God challenging the situation, it may be difficult to believe. This was the situation with the Shunammite woman in 2 Kings 4 and Zechariah in Luke 1. Both of them had given up receiving a child from God. Both became comfortable with a situation they did not want. However, when they received the visitation of God, both doubted the word of God. Hear the word of the Lord, God is about to delete the unwanted situation that you have become comfortable with in Jesus name.

“And he said, About this season, according to the time of life, thou shalt embrace a son. And she said, Nay, my lord, thou man of God, do not lie unto thine handmaid. And the woman conceived, and bare a son at that season that Elisha had said unto her, according to the time of life.” 2 Kings 4:16-17.

“But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John……And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years.” Luke 1:13-18.

However, God override their unbelief and delivered on His promises because of their sacrifices and their services unto Him. In this month of September, May God remember your sacrifices and your services to override your unbelief, and fulfill His promises in your life in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I receive the fulfilment of God ‘s promises in my life in Jesus name.

Beyond the limits

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:13

“Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.” Mark 9:23

Nothing limits a man except the limit he sets for himself. To what extent are you willing to go? If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the fruit of the land. God can take you there if you are willing to go there. Paul said I can do ALL things through Christ who provides me strength. If you understand how to exchange your weakness for God’s strength, you can extend your limits. All things are possible for him that believes. If there is a will there will always be a way. The limit of your believing is the limit of your results. If can believe a little more, you can see a little more results. If you say, you cannot, you have limited your life. If you say you can, you have extended your limits. The moment you believe you can, heaven will back you up, and you will be able to dig into your thought realm to bring out actions step that will deliver the results.

Everyone was running away from Goliath until David who believed he could handle him arrived. He said in 1 Samuel 17:32, “And David said to Saul, Let no man's heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine.” This was what a believing David said. He went ahead to take stones for his sling and confronted Goliath. Who told him that a sling and a stone were enough to kill Goliath? He knew that a little instrument was enough to get a big result if you could believe in a big God. Genesis 11:6b says, “…..and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.”

Beloved, extend your limits, think big, believe big, take big steps; if it is in your heart, it can be in your hand.

Prayer for today: I am willing, I am walking in obedience, O God extend my limits in Jesus name.

No surrender, No retreat!

“And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” Luke 9:62

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2

The enemy wants us to give up on our God-given vision but we shall not. In the face of attacks and oppositions, we shall not retreat neither shall we surrender. We shall get there. Our senior brother kept his eyes on the joy ahead and kept the faith so shall we.

I wish the journey to making impact and living successfully on earth as a Christian was easy but it is not. The devil hates us for aligning ourselves to the vision of God so he will throw all manners of arrows at us. He wants us to get discouraged and tired. I don’t know what you are going through right now. Have your trusted people deserted you? Is it tough financially? Do you feel alone or lonely? Do you feel sick physically and emotionally? Look unto Jesus, stretch your hand to Him. He has been there, let Him take you through it. I hear in my spirit, victory ahead.

I decree in the name of Jesus, it is your enemy that shall surrender, you shall not give up.

Prayer for today: Help me Oh God, I shall be helped; deliver me Oh God, I shall be delivered; Lift me up Oh God, I shall be lifted in the name of Jesus’

When God gives you a vision 2

“Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:” Acts 26:19

When God gives you a vision, do not be disobedient to it. Believe the vision and run with it. A vision you do not believe cannot profit you, a vision you do not run with, will slip from your hand and be given to another.

“For we also have had the good news proclaimed to us, just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, because they did not share the faith of those who obeyed.” Hebrews 4:2

“Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.” Hebrews 2:1

Most times the vision God will give you will look impossible but never doubt it. Mary was a virgin and the Angel gave her a vision of virgin birth. She believed it and received it. When you receive a vision from God, pray earnestly for God’s grace, power and direction. Look for someone who has succeeded in similar vision to mentor you. Gather all information you can lay your hand upon because the more you know the easier it is to deal with the obstacles and the challenges. Design your strategies to achieve the vision. Pray that the people whose vision is the fulfillment of your vision should come and join you. And run with the vision.

May you succeed in your God-given vision in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I am ready to run with the vision; Oh God help me in Jesus name.
