This is your best month!

“….. But you have kept the best for the last!” John 2:10 (NLT)

I have a prophetic word for you: God has kept the best for you this month. You will have the best “wine,” the best result, and the best reward this month in Jesus’ name. This is your best month in the year 2023. Your expectations will be fulfilled. Your godly patience will be rewarded. God will remember you for good. All your good deeds towards His work and His servants shall be rewarded. You will receive a bountiful harvest for your good deeds.

“Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.” Ecclesiastes 7:8

“…in the twelfth month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, that Evilmerodach king of Babylon in the year that he began to reign did lift up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah out of prison; And he spake kindly to him, and set his throne above the throne of the kings that were with him in Babylon.” 2 Kings 25:27-28

When God is involved in a matter, the end is always better than the beginning. Also, He reserved the best for last. So, you must expect the best, ask God to give you the best, and thank Him because He will give you the best.

Your best month of this year is this month, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, give me all that You have for me this year in this last month, in Jesus’ name.

Salvation: Lord Jesus, I believe in the forgiveness of sin and in the redemption from the power of darkness through your blood. I confess you as my Savior and Lord.  I invite you into my life to save my soul. Holy Spirit, come into my heart and make me what you want me to be. Thank you Lord for saving me in Jesus name.Holy Spirit, come into my heart and make me what you want me to be. Thank you Lord for saving me in Jesus name.

Covenant of rest 3

“He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes; Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.” Psalms 105:14-15

The anointing of the Holy Spirit upon your head will activate the covenant of rest in your life. The anointing is a divine covering upon you to forbid the enemy from causing you unrest. Your head must not lack oil if you want to enjoy rest in this wicked and tempestuous world. The world is full of trouble and unrest, but the anointing is an indicator of divine presence with you. He said to Moses, my presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.

“And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.” Exodus 33:14

“I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him: With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him. The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him.” Psalms 89:20-22

If you love righteousness and hate iniquity, God will anoint you (Hebrews 1:9). If you spend time daily and consistently with God, you will be anointed. Your goal should be that you become God’s sanctuary and dominion (Psalm 114). You must become God’s mobile altar through His indwelling Spirit. Ask that the Holy Spirit anoint you and possess you.

May you enjoy God-given rest at all times, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God anoint me with the Holy Spirit and power, in Jesus’ name.

Salvation: Lord Jesus, I believe in the forgiveness of sin and in the redemption from the power of darkness through your blood. I confess you as my Savior and Lord.  I invite you into my life to save my soul. Holy Spirit, come into my heart and make me what you want me to be. Thank you Lord for saving me in Jesus name.

Covenant of rest 2

“When a man's ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.” Proverbs 16:7

The covenant of rest is only available with God. If you want it, your way must please God. You must be willing to do whatever God tells you. You must stay where He wants you to stay and act on all His instructions for your life. This covenant will compel your enemies to be at peace with you. Laban was prevented from doing any harm to Jacob (Genesis 31:24). Esau who was coming with four hundred soldiers to attack Jacob changed his mind and made peace him (Genesis 33:1).

“If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:” Isaiah 1:19

“And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.” 2 Corinthians 10:6

You must stay in this covenant through obedience if you want to walk in this covenant of rest. You cannot doubt God or disobey Him. The price of obedience is a prerequisite. Your arch enemy, satan, will want you to doubt or disobey God so that he can steal the rest from you. He did exactly that to Adam and Eve (Genesis 3). The good news is that we only have to meditate regularly on the word of God so that we can walk according to His word (Joshua 1:8).

May the spirit of obedience be in you, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: I receive the grace to walk in the covenant of rest, in Jesus’ name.

Covenant of rest 1

“Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the Lord's hand double for all her sins.” Isaiah 40:2

You don’t have to live your life fighting battles all the time. There is a covenant that can give you rest in this tempestuous world. God’s word is the basis of all His covenants. You must receive God’s word for rest and activate the word in your life by believing the word (Hebrews 4:1-3).  Never doubt the word that can bring you rest, no matter where you come from or the experience in your lineage. You don’t have to fight all the time; you must connect to the covenant that brings rest amid life’s battles.

“Behold, a son shall be born to thee, who shall be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from all his enemies round about: for his name shall be Solomon, and I will give peace and quietness unto Israel in his days.” 1 Chronicles 22:9

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.” Psalms 23:4-5

Jesus said in Matthew 11:28, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” This is the “Word” became “Flesh” speaking to you. You can eat in the midst of your enemies. You can have peace and quietness in the midst of turmoil. Your battle is over, and your peace has come. You must meditate on words like this until you believe them, and then you can boldly declare them. This is how to activate any covenant in your life.

Peace, be still, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: I decree let there be rest within and around me, in Jesus’ name.

Though hard, but possible

“And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so.” 2Kings 2:10.

The fact that a situation is hard does not make it impossible. Never interpret a hard situation to mean an impossible situation. Your turnaround is possible, no matter how hard the situation seems. If you consider a situation impossible, then the case is closed. Any situation that looks hard is an indication of a search for what will make it possible. When Elisha asked Elijah for the double portion of anointing, Elijah told him that it was a hard thing but gave a condition that could make it possible. All that Elisha had to do was see Elijah so that what was hard could be possible. There is something that can make a hard thing possible; it is called faith.

“Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.”  Mark 9:23

“Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the Lord; Thus saith the Lord, To morrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria. Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, if the Lord would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.” 2 Kings 7:1-2

Please don’t exclude yourself from a miracle because the situation looks hard. This was what happened to the lord on whose hand the king leaned in 2 kings 7. He thought the situation was impossible even with God’s intervention. All things are possible with God and also to him that believes. Faith makes hard things possible. Pray about the situation without ceasing (Luke 18). Confess that you believe and you receive your miracle (Mark 11:24). Expect a miracle.

It is your turn to experience a miracle, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, that does hard thing, solve hard and difficult problems in my life, in Jesus’ name.

Dealing with evil hands

“And it came to pass, when king Jeroboam heard the saying of the man of God, which had cried against the altar in Bethel, that he put forth his hand from the altar, saying, Lay hold on him. And his hand, which he put forth against him, dried up, so that he could not pull it in again to him.” 1 Kings 13:4

The Bible speaks about the hand of the Lord that profits a man’s life. May the hand of the Lord be upon you (1 Kings 18:46, Ezekiel 1:3, Luke 4:18). The bible also speaks about evil hands (the hand of the enemy) that are meant to bring damage and destruction to a man’s life. May the evil hands extended against you dry up in Jesus’ name. Many have been afflicted by the hands of the enemy, bringing strange sicknesses, inexplainable lack, poverty, failure or even untimely death. Never permit the evil hands in your life.

.“Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”  Ephesians 6:13

“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Luke 10:19

Evil hands are evil arrows, attacks from the enemy, and its wickedness. Every believer in Christ has authority over them (Mark 16:17-18, Matthew 16:19). Don’t keep quiet when an evil hand has been stretched against you. You can decree what should happen to such hands (Job 22:28). Putting on the whole armor of God is your secure defense against evil hands. If there is no crack in your wall of defense, the enemy cannot bite you (Ecclesiastes 10:8). Deal with unbelief, unforgiveness, and deliberate sins that can open the door for the enemy in your life.

May the hand of the enemy dry up in your life, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let the altars and the hands behind my afflictions be destroyed by the fire of the Holy Ghost, in Jesus’ name.

The spirit of understanding

“That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.” Mark 4:12

Understanding converts information into action. Understanding converts knowledge into wisdom. Training or learning without understanding keeps a man in the same spot. Many of the situations that we are expecting to change are waiting for us to change first. In the realm of men, you can always change by learning new things. However, if you lack understanding, you go nowhere, even with first-class training. When you receive the spirit of understanding, you profit from your learning.

“And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;” Isaiah 11:1-2

“The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple” Psalms 119:130

You cannot be converted without the spirit of understanding. Your sins cannot be forgiven without the spirit of understanding. You cannot reign in life without the spirit of understanding, nor can you fulfill your destiny without the spirit of understanding. You must understand who you are, the environment you are in, and the assignment God has given you to make your life count on earth. If you have access to the mystery of God’s word, you receive the spirit of understanding through which the spirit of wisdom and revelation operates in your life. This is the key to supernatural change and access to the inheritance of the saint.

May you be baptized with the spirit of understanding, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let my eyes of understanding be enlightened, in Jesus’ name.

There is always a way out!

“Thus saith the Lord, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;” Isaiah 43:16

You may be feeling trapped like the people of Israel who were between the Egyptian soldiers and the red sea, yet God made a way for them (Exodus 14). The truth is that there is always a way out of any difficulty or trouble. Moreover, as a child of God, you cannot be trapped by any situation. There is always a way, whether you are confronted by a sea or mighty water. Even if a Jericho wall or a troop confronts you, there is a way out for you. My prayer for you is that you will find the way God is showing you in Jesus’ name. However, if you walk with the Lord, you will always find the way. He is the way, the truth, and the life. If only you could hear Him and walk in His counsel, you could never be stranded.

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6

““Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.” Isaiah 48:17

You need to turn to the Lord for the veil to be removed and for your ear to be opened. Ask Him to show you what to do, and expect direction from Him. Meditate on the scriptures; if the word is in your heart and in your mouth, you will always know what to do. Do not be a casual Christian; develop a personal relationship with the Lord. You cannot walk with Him and be a fool.

May you receive a direction from the Lord, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Holy Spirit, show me what to do in every situation I find myself in, in Jesus’ name.

Be a believer!

“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Mark 16:17-18 (KJV)

Only believers get results, not doubters, be a believer. Dare to believe God, believe in yourself, and believe that all things are possible for remarkable results in your life. Note that it is possible to be religious and still be a doubter. “Then he (Jesus) said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”” John 20:27 (NIV). It is also necessary for you to know that a belief in something is actually a doubt about the opposite.

“Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.” Mark 9:23

“God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.” Romans 3:4

Don’t believe the liar; believe God. Believe what God has spoken or revealed about you. Believe what God has put in your heart and throw your whole life into it. More importantly, believe in the name of Jesus. The devil is not a threat to the believers in Jesus; they cast him out. Believers in the name of Jesus don’t speak the same language the world speaks. The world speaks failure, defeat, poverty, sickness, war, famine and such. But believers speak in tongues that are different from those of the world. They speak victory, success, sound health, abundance and such. Believers in the name of Jesus are risk-takers. They are as bold as lions and do not turn away from opposition. Serpents are no threat to them, neither is any deadly drink. Lastly, believers are solution-givers; they solve problems.

No matter what you are going through, I challenge you to dare to believe in a total positive turnaround of your situation, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: The lines are falling unto me in pleasant places in Jesus’ name.

More than Conquerors!

“Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” Romans 8:37

To be more than conquerors is to win without fighting. If you see a fighter that wins, you see the scars of the battle on him. He who is a conqueror is greater than he who fights to win because he enjoys the bounty of the battle without fighting. Perhaps you are in a situation where you need to fight and yet fighting is not reasonable. I have good news for you: you can win without fighting. If you engage God in your battle and turn the battle over to Him, you can win without fighting. You must learn to position yourself to win without fighting.

“You will not need to fight in this battle. POSITION YOURSELVES, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you.” 2 Chronicles 20:17 Emphasis mine

“And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.” Exodus 14:13-145

The question is, how do you position yourself to win without fighting against a dangerous and powerful opposition? You must stand still and see the salvation of God. Stop running helter-skelter but stand still and expect victory. Biblically, standing still means waiting on God to hear what He will say to you (Habakkuk 2:1; Isaiah 40:31). Whatever He says to you, do (John 2:5). You must be confident that God loves you, He is with you, and that He is fighting your battles. Beloved, there is no situation neither is there any opposition that can withstand our God (Psalm 144). Do not entertain fear, but believe God for your victory.

I see you in the victory, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God I am standing still before you, speak to me, give me confidence and boldness, and take care of my present situation in Jesus’ name.

Take calculated risks!

““Now there were four leprous men at the entrance of the gate; and they said to one another, “Why are we sitting here until we die? If we say, ‘We will enter the city,’ the famine is in the city, and we shall die there. And if we sit here, we die also. Now therefore, come, let us surrender to the army of the Syrians. If they keep us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall only die.”” 2 Kings 7:3-4

Don’t be at peace in Zion; take a calculated risk to change your level. Why are you afraid to take new steps and challenge the status quo? You cannot do things the same way and expect different results. If you don’t like your present status, you will have to change your thinking, change your vision, change your dream and change your actions. It is more risky not to take a risk! You must take a calculated risk to change your levels and possess your possessions. If you prefer to stay in your comfort zone, you may never experience the best of God.

“Woe to them that are at ease in Zion, and trust in the mountain of Samaria, which are named chief of the nations, to whom the house of Israel came!” Amos 6:1

“And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four. And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay. When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.” Mark 2:3-5

The four lepers in our text this morning, without being aware of the prophetic words that have gone ahead of them, liberated themselves and the entire nation from famine. Everyone decided to stay within the city and die there except them. They engaged the power of their thinking and decided that they had a 50% chance of surviving if they visited the camp of the Assyrians. They got there only to find out that their fears had been taken care of.

Beloved, I challenge you to be desperate with God and take a positive step towards your breakthrough.

May your level change before the end of this year, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: I receive the anointing to confront my fears and to take a new step for my breakthrough in Jesus’ name.

Change is possible! 2

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:2.

Mind transformation is life transformation: when you change your mind, you change your life. The word of God in your mind is your power to break negative habits and secure a definite change. Any negative habit can be broken. Addiction can be broken. The yoke of sin can be broken. Demonically inspired and reinforced behaviors can be broken. All these changes are possible through the power of the anointed word. Perhaps there is a habit that needs to be broken in your life, start by meditating on God’s word (Psalm 119:9, 11, 105, 130; Psalm 1, Joshua 1:8, Psalms 107:20, Hebrews 4:12, John 1:14)

“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” John 6:63

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12

Jesus, the Word became fresh Himself, is the solution to the yoke of addictions today. I have seen many lives transformed by an encounter with Jesus. He told the woman condemned by men because of adultery, go and sin no more (John 8:11). That is power over sin. Invite Jesus into your life to deal with any habit that is working against your destiny. You can become new by coming into Christ Jesus (2 Cor 5:17). Your change is possible!

I break the yoke of negative habits and addiction over your life, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Let the word of God enter into me and change my life in Jesus’ name.

Change is possible! 1

“While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:18.

All physical things are subject to change. In my few years of existence on earth, I have seen God change people’s lives and situations. I see Him changing your life at this time, too. God is the unchangeable changer. An encounter with Him will bring a definite change in your life. If you are tired of your present situation, be desperate for God.  Seek His face until He speaks to you and puts His Spirit upon you (Mathew 3:16-17, Isaiah 32:15). You will find Him if you seek Him with the whole of your heart (Jeremiah 29:13, Psalms 34:10).

“For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.” Malachi 3:6

“If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.” Job 14:14

The enemy will want you to be busy running about the same way you have been since the beginning of the year. Don’t allow him. A change of mind is a change of life. And for a change of mind, fresh information is needed, both spiritual and physical. Spiritual information is called revelation. Revelation can only be accessed by separating yourself for a quiet moment between you and God.

May your life be more profitable. May you experience the change you desire in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God arise and let my story change in Jesus’ name.

Hold it fast! 2

“For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.” Romans 14:17.

Hold fast to what the Holy Ghost has given you. You are the righteousness of God; you have received the peace and the joy of the Holy Ghost. These are spiritual evidence that translates into circumstantial evidence. We cannot afford to lose our identity under any circumstances, nor can we allow anything to take away our peace and joy. Hold fast to the righteousness, peace and joy that you received from the Holy Ghost. If you do, you can defeat anything that comes against you.

“Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks. And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.” Hebrews 10:23

“There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” Genesis 39:9

We go through challenges, but we don’t allow the challenges to take hold of us. Don’t lose the kingdom because of your circumstances, but use the kingdom to change your circumstances. This was what Paul and Silas did when they were in prison. This was what Joseph did when his master wife asked for his body. They held fast to what they had received, and everything worked in their favor.

You have received a kingdom; may you walk as a king on earth, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, I hold fast to the righteousness, peace, and joy You have given me in Jesus’ name.

Hold it fast! 1

“Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.” Revelation 3:11.

There are things you must let go of, and there are things you must hold fast. In the past two days, I have shared with you some of the things you must let go of. I will also like to share what you need to hold fast. You must hold fast to the profession of your faith. No matter what you are going through, don’t lose faith. Let your faith in God be unshakable. God is faithful, and He will keep His promises to you. Your end will always be better than your beginning if you keep your faith in God.

“Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)” Hebrews 10:23

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” 2 Timothy 4:7-8

If you keep the faith, you will have the crown. Your faith will always be rewarded here on earth and in the world to come. The enemy knows that if you keep your faith, he cannot defeat you. No matter what the enemy throws at you, keep the faith. Confess faith. Profess faith. Walk by faith. Live by faith. Talk by faith. After all, the just shall live by faith. Your faith in Jesus is the victory that overcomes the world.

I see you winning with your faith, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, put Your faith in me and let me remain unshakable to the end in Jesus’ name.

Let it go! 2

“And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.” Hebrews 11:15.

If your mind is in the past, you cannot enter your glorious future. You must let the past go, whether good or bad, whether painful or sweet. Your past is yesterday; let it go.  Let go of the failure of yesterday. Let go of the success of yesterday. The reason why people are stagnant is because they did not let go of yesterday. They keep looking at the past. The bible told us to remember the lot’s wife (Luke 17:32; Genesis 19:26). She looked back and became a pillar of salt. Stop looking back; start looking forward. Your yesterday must die for you to see and experience your tomorrow. You can learn from yesterday, but you must not stay there.

“Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:18-19

“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13-14

Your eyes are in front, so it is impossible to look at both the front and the back at the same time. When you are looking back, you are not looking into the future. The direction of your “looking” has the power to tell your mind what it should do because your eyes are a major gate to your mind. Whatever has entered your mind has entered your life. If you keep your eyes on the future, your mind will create the path to get you there. That is why you should not look back. Jesus said no one who looks back is fit to get to the destination (Luke 9:62). Let go of the past!

May the power of the past be broken over your life, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, break the power of yesterday over my life, move me into my glorious future in Jesus’ name.

Let it go! 1

“Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:  And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.” Ephesians 4:31-32.

Don’t keep malice, don’t keep offense; let it go. Forgiving yourself and forgiving others is the beginning of emotional healing that will bring healing to the body. Forgiveness brings healing to your soul and positions you to receive forgiveness from God. Unforgiveness, on the other hand, is a poison to your physical and spiritual health; it hinders prayer from being answered and permits sickness and disease. No man who keeps malice can walk with God. God commands us to forgive others as a prerequisite to receiving forgiveness from Him.

“For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” Matthew 6:14-15

“Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.” Matthew 18:21-22

Jesus’ instruction to all believers did not actually leave any room for us to hold anything against one another. He said we must let it go. Forgiveness keeps us together in the church and as a family. As human beings, for one reason or another, offense may come. But we should not allow offense to stay so that we can enjoy the best of God in our lives and in our midst. As believers, we must be quick to say, “I am sorry,” and also be quick to say, “I forgive you.”

Prayer for today: Oh God, give me the grace to forgive others as I have received forgiveness from you, in Jesus’ name.

Keep your heart and your joy!

“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life” Proverbs 4:23.

You can win in any situation in life if you keep your heart and your joy. Please mind what you listen to, watch, and say when you are passing through any challenge in life. Your heart is the seat of your life; it is the root of unbelief and fear on one side and faith and victory on the other. The outcome of your heart depends on the seed that your heart receives and grows. Whatever enters your heart has entered your life. You must keep your heart free from junk that can make you walk in unbelief and doubt God, for the just shall live by faith. Choose what you see and hear because they are the gates to your heart and ultimately to your life.

“…..for the joy of the Lord is your strength” Nehemiah 8:10

“And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God.” 1 Samuel 30:6

You must keep your joy because it is the source of your strength to enter your breakthrough. The devil will always want you to keep looking at what is wrong in your life so that he can steal your joy. But it is your responsibility to keep looking at what is right so that you will grow enough joy that will give you strength to overcome what is wrong. Whatever is wrong in your life cannot last if you keep your joy of the Lord, who is your strength. Fill your soul with faith-filled positive words, your joy and your heart, and consequently, your victory depends on this.

I decree that you will run through a troop and leap over a wall, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let Your joy fill my heart at all times and in all situations, in Jesus’ name.

It will surely get better!

"But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.” Proverbs 4:18 KJV.

God is on your side as a child of God, so things will surely get better with you. Don’t look at the wind, don’t look at the circumstances but be consistent with God. Let your walk with God be consistent and progressive. If you do, things can only get better. The most important thing in your walk with God is fellowship with Him and obedience to Him. Daily, consistent fellowship with Him, will help you to recognize His voice and walk in His ways. The common thing about victorious Christians is that they know and walk in God’s way.

“He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.” Psalm 103:7

“And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him, And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.” Acts 7:9-10

If you learn to know His voice and walk in His way, you will live victoriously and fulfill destiny in life. Joseph started as a slave and grew to become a Prime Minister despite difficult circumstances he went through because he was growing with and in God. His story was similar to that of David and Daniel. The presence of Jesus at the marriage of Cana in Galilee brought the best when the wine was finished. When Jesus is involved in your life, the best is reserved for the last, you grow from the worst to become the best (John 2:1-10). In the things of the spirit, grace is directly proportion to knowledge. Knowledge grows with fellowship while grace grows with knowledge. I ask God to give you passion for daily and consistent fellowship with Him so that you may enjoy His presence.

Your life will get better daily, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let me know you deeper, let me walk with you higher and let my life get better, in Jesus’ name.

Knowing God intimately

“He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.” Psalm 103:7

There are many differences between wanting who God is and what God has. A shallow relationship desires to receive what God has, while a deeper relationship desires to Know Him intimately. You will never have to worry about receiving what He has if you have an encounter with Him and have a personal understanding of His ways. The majority are interested in the acts of God, but only a few are interested in knowing His ways. This is what separates the real Christians from the crowd of churchgoers.

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33

“As I was in the days of my youth, when the secret of God was upon my tabernacle.” Job 29:4

You can continually experience the act of God if you have access to the secrets of God. The great news is that God is willing to share His secrets with you if you desire to know Him intimately. Job walked in prosperity and dominion because he had access to the secrets of God. He had a deeper experience with God. Daniel could do what only the gods could do because he had access to the secret of God (Daniel 2, 5, 6; John 10:35). Desire to know God through personal encounter with Jesus Christ and walk with the Holy Spirit. More than His acts, have a strong desire to know His ways and His secrets and to walk in them. If you do, you will no longer worry about the benefits of the kingdom, which include prosperity, security, dominion and the supernatural.

May you know God intimately, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, give me divine hunger to know You and Your ways, in Jesus’ name.

Stop doing things on your own!

“Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.” 1 Samuel 17:5 KJV

The least of God’s strength is stronger than the greatest of a man’s strength. Walking with God allows you to access His strength and makes you look stronger than you are. Men have many weaknesses, but when you have God, your weaknesses do not matter. Beloved, stop doing things on your own! When you are dealing with things with the assurance that God is with you, all fear is taken away.

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:10 (KJV)

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” Acts 10:38KJV

You must know that David was skilled at using stones and slings. He truly had killed a Lion and a bear. But, realistically speaking, those experiences could not be compared with fighting Goliath. He could not fight Goliath alone, and he knew it. I put it this way: God took care of Goliath through David because David was fighting with the help of God. Beloved, stop confronting the day on your own; pray until you are full of the Holy Spirit and power, and you know it. Even Jesus did not do anything on his own but under the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

God will help you, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God help me to deal with all the issues of my life, in Jesus’ name.
