21 Days of Glorious destiny 5

“Let thy garments be always white; and let thy head lack no ointment.” Ecclesiastes 9:8

On this fifth day of glorious destiny, we are still on the anointing. The anointing is the oil of God on your head. The anointing breaks all yoke, removes all burdens and makes you stronger than all oppositions. The anointing goes with the purity of life. If you desire the anointing you must leave sin alone. Let your garments be always while and your head will not lack oil.

“Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.” Hebrews 1:9
“And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.” Isaiah 10:27

The prerequisite to a strong anointing upon your life is your love for righteousness and hatred of iniquity. God wants to pour His oil upon you. He wants you to carry His power and His presence in your life, but you must be hungry for His anointing. Let the hunger drives you to His presence, makes you to walk in His righteousness and to hate what He hates.

May God anoint you today in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: Oh God endue me with power from on high in Jesus name.
Call to Salvation: Lord Jesus, I believe in the forgiveness of sin and in the redemption from the power of darkness through your blood. I confess you as my Savior and Lord.  I invite you into my life to save my soul. Holy Spirit, come into my heart and make me what you want me to be. Thank you Lord for saving me in Jesus name.

21 Days of Glorious destiny 4

“And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.” Luke 24:49

On this fourth day of glorious destiny, get anointed for the fulfillment of your destiny. Your destiny requires power and that is available at the place of anointing. If Jesus could not do without it, you surely would not be able to do without it. Jesus told His disciples in our text today that they must tarry until they get anointed. Since nothing is presently contesting for your time, except television, spend time today with God and ask Him to anoint you. I know you need to spend time with your wife and children too, let them also join you. We all need to be anointed.

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” Act 10:38
“He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes; Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.” Psalms 105:14-15

The anointing will not only protect you but will enable you to get results as if it is God at work. The anointing is God’s Spirit upon you to make things happen through you. When you are anointed the strength or weakness of yourself or the instrument you have does not matter. That was why David was able to kill Goliath. That was why the unlearned disciples were able to get supernatural results and turned the world upside down.

May God anoint you today in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: Oh God anoint me with the Holy Ghost and power in Jesus name.

21 Days of Glorious destiny 3

“Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.” Jude 1:9

On this third day of glorious destiny, prepare yourself for the move of God in your life. The Devil will definitely want to contend for your life and destiny, but you can rebuke him. He knows that you are a threat to his activities in this world. The only way to beat him is to organize your affairs and be confident in your relationship with God. He likes to operate where there is disorder, fear, and disobedience to God.  Do not give him any room.

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” James 4:7
“And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.” 2 Corinthians 10:6

Separate yourself from the iniquity of your father’s house using the blood of Jesus. Destroy any contrary covenant or curses that might be in operation in your lineage using the blood of Jesus. Tell the devil he has no legal right over your life anymore and put him where he belongs. He is under your feet. Consecrate your life fully unto God and prepare yourself as His instrument in this world.

May God dwell in you and pour His glory into you in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: I consecrate my body, my soul and my spirit unto God in Jesus name.

21 Days of Glorious destiny 2

“As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.” Psalms 42:1

Be desperate for God. Seek God with your whole heart. Nothing matters more than God in this world. Nothing can take the place of God, you should have realized this as a big lesson from coronavirus attacks. Where are the world powers? Where are the rich? Where are the successful? Life without God is life in futility. Life without God is vanity. If you don’t know God at this hour, fear will grip you. On this second day of glorious destiny, God asked me to tell you to seek Him.

“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13
“For God gives wisdom and knowledge and joy to a man who is good in His sight; but to the sinner He gives the work of gathering and collecting, that he may give to him who is good before God. This also is vanity and grasping for the wind.” Ecclesiastes 2:26

See how long you have been going to church but, yet you have not found God. God wants to talk to you about Himself and about your relevance in His plan for the world at this time. Pray desperately that God will reveal Himself to you and will speak to you. Maybe you are reading this message and you have not given your heart to Jesus Christ. Do it now because now is the acceptable time. Now is the day of Salvation. Tomorrow may be too late.

May you find God today in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: Oh God, let the heavens open, let me see the vision of You, let Your hand be upon me and let Your Spirit come upon me in Jesus name.

21 Days of Glorious destiny 1

“Then Jacob was left alone; and a Man wrestled with him until the breaking of day.” Genesis 32:24

Purposeful isolation is the price every champion pays for greatness in destiny. It is the period of isolation where the question of what to do, how to do it, where to do it and when to do it are answered. It is also the period when greatness is conceived, incubated and taken towards bringing to reality. It is a period of concentration and meditation for illumination. Beloved, if you are not happy with where you are, the power of purposeful isolation can turn things around. The good news is that twenty-one days are enough. And one good thing about this period is that coronavirus has compelled the government to make it a law for everyone to stay indoors for the next twenty-one days.

“Then Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and news of Him went out through all the surrounding region.” Luke 4:14
“As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.” Acts 13:2

If you will set the goal of making the next twenty-one days profitable, then let us do it together. I will be sharing with you daily messages that will help you to make these days profitable. Jesus isolated Himself and returned in the power of the spirit. Paul, Moses other great men in the scripture used the period of isolation to hear God and to receive an impartation of grace, wisdom, favor, and power to fulfill their destinies, you too can do so.

May God give you answers to your life questions within the next twenty-one days in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: Oh God, help me to change my life for better within the next twenty-one days in Jesus name.

Pray until you get result

“And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint:” Luke 18:1

Never stop praying until you get the desired result. This is an indication of faith. Jesus taught that persistence in prayer is needed to get answers to stubborn situations and it is an evidence of faith at work in Luke 18:1-8. The woman petitioned the ungodly judge until he avenged her of her adversary. Jesus admonished us to do the same. He actually said that we must pray day and night if the situation is serious (Luke 18:7).

“Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” James 5:16
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians 6:9

Beloved, be fervent and don’t faint in prayer. Prayer harvest is coming. The result will overwhelm you. If there are any faults, let us confess them one to another. It is time to pray for one another. It is time to pray for our community. It is time to pray for our Nation. We must not stop until everyone is healed and our land is saved from virus attacks.

May God heal our land in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: Oh God, let your Spirit move over the face of the earth, let every disorder end in Jesus name.

My Bible based thought

“Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:” Isaiah 55:6

Is God angry with the world? No, I don’t believe so! Is the time of grace and mercy over? No, we are still in the dispensation of grace and the mercy of God is still available. However, God is calling the whole world to seek Him. Can you believe before this time that the busy world could have a standstill? Most people will not even have time for God because they are “too busy.” Thank God, it is not death that is keeping us from “being too busy, “it is a virus which can be avoided physically and dealt with spiritually.

“As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.” Revelation 3:19
“For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.” Galatians 12:6

I believe strongly that God is showing His love to the world more than ever. He did not want any to perish. He is giving us the opportunity to yield to His love by repenting and turning to Him. This is a time of self-evaluation. Are you still in faith? It is time for every strayed sheep to come back home. Never take the love of God for judgement. This is to prevent us from going through His judgement. Read Rev 22:12, 1 Corinthians 3:9-15, Mathew 24, 1 Corinthians 15:50-58, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18.

May the love of God abide with you is such a time like this in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: Oh God, reveal yourself to me and reveal myself to me this period in Jesus name.

Fear not, only believe!

“While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue's house certain which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further?  As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.” Mark 5:35-36

It does not matter what you have heard or seen, God asked me to tell you to fear not. Fear has the capacity to paralyze, kill and destroy. Fear comes by hearing as faith comes by hearing. Jesus knew this when he heard what was said to Jairus. He knew that the fact that Jairus had been told that his daughter was dead would bring fear and torment into his life. He told him not to afraid but only believe.

“And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.  And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.”2 kings 6:16-17
“And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.” Numbers 13:30

The question is what are you going to believe? For Jairus, he only needed to believe that his daughter was not dead, despite what he has been told and that the people were not lying. When Jesus got to his house, he said that the girl was not dead but sleeping. Was He lying? No. He was seeing what the physical eyes could not see. Just like the servant Elijah saw what his physical eyes could not see and his fear disappeared. Beloved, I challenge you to believe God to protect and heal you in such a time like this. Read Psalm 91.

I declare that no evil shall befall you in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: Oh God, let your Spirit move all over the earth and let every source of fear be terminated in Jesus name.

Important scriptures in such a time like this

“My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.  Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.  For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.” Proverbs 4:22

If you feed on the word of God, you will be fortified against any form of attack, physical or spiritual. Let me share with you a few scriptures that will help you in a time like this.

“And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.” Deuteronomy 7:15
“And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.” Exodus 15:26
“There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.” Psalm 91:10
“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” Psalm 23:4
“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.” Isaiah 43:2
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:10
“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5
“As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.” Mark 5:36

Prayer for today: Oh God, Let our land be delivered from all forms of evil in Jesus name.

Put your trust in the Lord

“They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.” Psalm 125:1

Put your trust in the Lord and in His power to protect you. Every other can fail, but the Lord cannot fail you. He is a trusted Father that has promised not to leave you or forsake you. Nothing can take the place of the Lord in your life, not even money or position or human connection. You are blessed when you put your trust is the Lord.

“Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.” Jeremiah 17:7
“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” Psalm 23:4

The Lord is with you, trust in Him so that He can guide and guard you, even if you are in the valley of the shadow of death. Do not be afraid, but listen carefully to His instructions for your life and do whatever He tells you. Be bold to declare that no virus can afflict or kill you because you are trusting in the Lord. Be bold to declare that an end has come to the virus in our land because your trust is in the Lord.

May your trust in the Lord be rewarded with the song of victory in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: Father, my trust is in You, guide and guard me throughout this season and beyond in Jesus name.

Logosotherapy

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” Proverb 18:21

If you use your tongue correctly, you are releasing your faith. The power to kill any demon even any virus for that matter is in your tongue. Declare again and again sudden destruction against the destroying virus in the name of Jesus. Don’t stop until the destroying virus is annihilated from our land.

“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” Mark 11:23
“We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;” 2 Corinthians 4:13
“For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.” Matthew 12:37
“Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied. This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.  And all this assembly shall know that the Lord saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the Lord's, and he will give you into our hands.” 1 Samuel 17:45-47

It is enough talking about what the virus could do and is doing. It is time to speak against it. Wherever you are, speak against the evil virus ravaging our lands in Jesus name.

I decree that the virus shall spread no more in Jesus name. I decree that every reported case shall receive deliverance and healing in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: We break the power of the devil over our land. We destroy the attacking-virus and the destroying-virus in Jesus name.

How do you hear?

“Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.” Luke 8:18

How you hear or receive information is important. This is because how you hear can birth either faith or fear in you. Faith makes a man go up while fear makes a man go down. It is your responsibility to take heed about how you hear so that you ensure that the information you have received gives you faith and not fear.

“But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.” Isaiah 43:1
“Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;  And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.” Hebrews 2:14-15

Don’t allow any information on coronavirus to create fear in you. Take positive, fearless and faithful actions based on the information but don’t let fear grip you. There are always two sides to a coin. The winning side is the faithful and positive side. Remain on that side. Apart from this, no matter the physical evidence on coronavirus, the spiritual evidence is stronger. The spiritual evidence says that the virus cannot afflict you because God is with you.

May you remain positive in such a time like this in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: Father, I am in confident by your word that no killer virus can afflict me, I therefore declare the virus to die in Jesus name.

Two are enough

“Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.  For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” Mathew 18:8-19

Two people are enough to bring divine intervention into a land. Two people are enough to secure answers to prayers. If the two agree in the name of Jesus, they can secure help for their land. It does not matter how powerful or how numerous the host of hell that is attacking a land, two people who are in agreement in the name of Jesus can stop them.

“And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. But Moses hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.” Exodus 17:11-12
“Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.” Acts 12:5

Beloved, wherever you are, as a Christian, you can defend your land against any form of virus or demonic attack. You only need another Christian of like mind to agree with you in the name of Jesus. It takes only two people to form a church. The Church is the only body that can stop Satan and his cohorts. Let us stay in agreement today to protect our land against any form of evil.

May the presence of God be seen in this land in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: Father, I am in agreement with my brother and sister this morning that every strange virus be uprooted from our land in Jesus name.

Fear or Faith?

For we live by faith, not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:7

As Christians, we do not approach any issue from the perspective of fear, but from that of faith. Therefore, when you take the necessary physical precaution against coronavirus, you don’t do it because of fear. Anything we do must be based on faith and not on fear. You must know that coronavirus cannot touch you because of three things: you are in covenant with God, you have the Spirit of God in you, you have the blood of Jesus to protect you.

“And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.” Romans 14:23
“What I feared has come upon me;  what I dreaded has happened to me.” Job 3:25

When you sanitize your hand or take any precaution, do it in faith, not because of fear. When you pray, do it in faith and not in fear. Whatever is not of faith is sin. Fear is a torment. Fear opens someone’s life for attacks. No matter the case, be assured that God has got your back.

May the power of God protect you against all forms of attack in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: I declare, Oh God, You are my refuge and my fortress, in You will I trust in Jesus name.

Prayer against virus invasion

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14

As Christians, we have authority over any demonic invasion of our land (Matthew 16:18-19, Matthew 18:18-19, Mark 11:23-24, Job 22:28). Our text this morning tells us that if we that are called by the name of the living God shall humble ourselves, and pray, and seek God’s face, and turn from our wicked ways, God will hear from heaven, forgive our sins and heal our land. Beloved, you can stop this menace called coronavirus.

Let us pray:

1.       Oh God, we confess our sins and we ask for forgiveness because of the precious blood of your Son Jesus Christ.
2.       We plead the blood of Jesus over our land in Jesus name.
3.       We ask God to raise a standard against the demonic invasion of our land in Jesus name.
4.       We bind the spirit of coronavirus and we cast it back to hell where it came from in Jesus name.
5.       We sanitize our land with the blood of Jesus.
6.       Holy Ghost fire, consume every coronavirus in our land in Jesus name.
7.       We declare God’s healing power over everyone infected in Jesus name.
8.       I claim divine immunity against the attack of coronavirus in Jesus name.
9.       Coronavirus hear the word of the Lord, die in the name of Jesus.
10.   Thank you Lord for answering our prayers.

This is the confidence that we have when we pray according to the will of God He answers us. God does not want anyone of us to be sick. Let us stay in agreement concerning this prayer and see our land delivered from this demonic invasion.

May the power of God invade our land in Jesus name.

Unbroken confidence

“Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.” Hebrew 11:35

If you want to go forward, you must keep your confidence. Your confidence in God, in your God-given ability and also in your sonship relationship with God is important for you to go forward. If the enemy succeeds in breaking your confidence, he has succeeded to ground you.

“If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.  But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.” Daniel 3:17-18
“David said moreover, The Lord that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the Lord be with thee.” 1 Samuel 17:37

Situations can happen. Challenges may come. Storms may arise. Enemies may attack. If your confidence is intact, you will be rewarded with victory. God is greater than anything that may come against you. You are God’s own child. He will never leave you or forsake you.  He loves you beyond human description. He is committed to fulfilling His promises in your life. He has given you His own strength to handle any situation. Even if you have sinned, He is committed to forgiving you all your sins. Let your confidence in God be renewed at this hour.

May the confidence of your enemy be broken. May your own confidence be renewed in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: O God help me to get my confidence back in Jesus name. I declare that I belong to God and I can do all things through His strength in Jesus name.

The only good fight

“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.” 2 Timothy 6:12

Faith is a fight and it is a good fight. It is a fight because many times what you want God to do seems to be impossible. It is a good fight because if you fight the faith fight, you will always win. The enemy will therefore, try to discourage you or ensure that you give up the fight because he knows that if you continue the fight you will always have the supernatural result.

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:” 2 Timothy 4:7
“He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.” Romans 4:20-21

What do you do when your condition is saying no but the promise of God is saying yes? What do you do when what you believe seems not to come to pass?  What do you do when the wind is blowing and you are already on the water? What do you do when what you can see is contrary to what you believe? You must fight the good fight of faith. You must keep declaring what you believe as if it is already there. You must say no to whatever wants to discourage you from the fight and remain expectant that the result will come. You must surround yourself with people who have gone through such. Look for an Elizabeth if your virgin believes God for a pregnancy.

May you not give up the fight of faith in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: O God let your promises be fulfilled in my life in Jesus name.

Let us go to the other side

“And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side.” Mark 4:35

The other side of defeat is victory. The other side of failure is success. The other side of sickness is sound health. The other side of poverty is wealth. The other side of stagnancy is progress. It is time to go to the other side because Jesus said so. Immediately he said so, they got into the boat and moved. Beloved, get into the boat and let us go to the other side. Get into the boat of the wisdom and the power of God. Let your eyes be opened and your strength be renewed by the power of the Holy Ghost.

“Then said Elkanah her husband to her, Hannah, why weepest thou? and why eatest thou not? and why is thy heart grieved? am not I better to thee than ten sons?” 1 Samuel 1:8
“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:” Matthew 7:7

If you are comfortable on this side you cannot go to the other side. When Jabesh became tired of the side of shame and reproach, he went to God and God moved him to the other side. He became honourable among his brethren. Hannah also crossed from the side of barrenness to the side of fruitfulness when the double portion of food could no longer satisfy her. Whatever is making you comfortable on this side must be removed so that you can get into the boat and move to the other side. Beloved, you cannot change what you tolerate. Spend time with God for a clear direction. Read the bible and other books for a change of thinking. Ask for the grace and power needed to go to the other side. Check your association and make sure they are not keeping you on this side. Jesus said we must go to the other and we must obey him. You must break free from whatever that is tying you down and go to the side of testimony where God has placed you

May you experience the power of God to cross over the obstacles into the goodness of God in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: O God empower me for a change of story in Jesus name.

God-consciousness

“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” 1 John 4:4

As a believer, there are three important truths you must know about God-consciousness. These are: You are God’s; God is with you and He lives on the inside of you. If you believe these, it makes a lot of difference in the way you carry yourself and handle any situation you find yourself.

“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31
“If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken.” John 10:35

The first implication of this is that there is nothing that comes against you that can defeat you. Secondly, your results in life do not depend on your weakness or your strength, but on your ability to appropriate the strength of God that lives in you. Thirdly, you can handle all things as if you are god. Lastly, you don’t have to walk in fear, doubt, and worry but have a firm belief that all things will end well.

May you walk in this truth always in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let me manifest as god in every situation I find myself in Jesus name.

The Abraham kind of faith

“He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;  And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.” Romans 4:20-21

Can you remember the song we used to sing in the 90s? The song says, “God said it, I believed it, that settled it.” That is the Abraham kind of faith which I called,” Believing is Seeing.” You believe it then you see it. This is the kind of faith that works. This is the kind of faith known in the family of God. When God told Abraham that he would become the father of many nations, his body was dead so also was Sarah’s womb. However, he believed God and he received the fulfilment of the promise.

“And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.  And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.” Matthew 14:28-29
“Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the Lord; Thus saith the Lord, To morrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria. Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, if the Lord would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.” 2 kings 7:1-2

As a believer, in whatever situation you find yourself, all you need is a word from the Lord. If you don’t have a word, stay in His presence until you get one. When you do, just believe and move on. If you believe the word, you have the faith that can never fail and that will always deliver the result. Peter heard Jesus, believed the word and walked on water.  You too can walk on water if you hear God and believe Him. When Elisha spoke about a radical change in the situation in Samaria, the king’s adviser doubted and expressed his doubt. He saw it happen, but died there.

May you hear God and believe Him every day of your life.

Prayer for today: Oh God let your word come to me in this situation in Jesus name.

The Thomas kind of faith

“Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.” John 20:29

You remember Thomas? When Jesus first appeared to the disciples, he was not there. When he was told that Jesus had resurrected, he said he would not believe until he had seen Jesus and was able to touch his side. His kind of faith is “seeing is believing.” That kind of faith does not work and is alien to the family of God. Jesus said to him, “blessed are they who have not seen, and yet have believed.” In the family of God, we believe first before seeing. That is the faith that works.
“When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.” Mark 5:27-29
“For thus saith the Lord, Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, that ye may drink, both ye, and your cattle, and your beasts.” 2 kings 3:15

The blessing of God, His supernatural manifestation and divine intervention are all accessed by believing and acting on the belief. The fact that you have not seen rain does not mean there would not be water. If you believe, there will be water, whether the season is dry or is wet. The woman with the issue of blood got over twelve years of problem by first believing. When she acted on her belief, she got her expected result.

May you believe God and see the fulfilment of His promises every day of your life.

Prayer for today: God give me the capability to believe you for the impossible in Jesus name.

God lives in you

“You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.” 1 John4:4 (NIV)

You are stronger within than the trouble without because God lives in you. God has made His abode in you through His word and His Spirit, so you are stronger than you think you are. More importantly, you are unbeatable by the adversity that is in the world because God lives on the inside of you. And He is greater than all.

“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Gal 2:20
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

The trouble that is in the world cannot overcome you neither can it take away your peace. This is because the God that lives inside of you is greater than all and has brought you peace. Let this be your thinking and let it give you boldness to overcome whatever challenges you are facing. Ask the God in you to take care of it, do whatever He tells you to do and stop worrying about it.

May you carry the consciousness of God within you every day of your life.

Prayer for today: The God within me arise and take care of all my troubles in Jesus name.

Believe your word

“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” Mark 11:23

Jesus revealed to us how to deal with any mountain confronting us. He said we should speak to it. However, when we speak to our mountains, we must believe our word for us to see the result.  Now let me add this, you may not believe the first time you speak, but speak until you believe. This is because when you believe, the mountain will obey your word.

“We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;” 2 Cor 4:13
“And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.” Genesis 1:3

Beloved, the truth is that we always face one mountain or the other. This means it is important for us to learn the God-way of dealing with them. We don’t have to panic or begin to run helter-skelter when there is any situation that looks like a mountain in our lives.   We only have to speak to them and believe our word. David in 1 Samuel 17 spoke to Goliath first before he used his sling and the stone. He said in 1 Samuel 17:46, “This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee

May the mountain confronting you move in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I receive the God-kind of faith to speak and to see the result in Jesus name.
