The Resurrection Power

“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” Romans 8:11 KJV

There is a relationship between Spirit and Power similar to the relationship between electric current and electromotive force in physics. When the Spirit moves, power is generated. The Spirit that raised Christ from the dead generated power for the resurrection. If that same Spirit comes into you, He will heal you, restore you, and empower you to fulfil God’s purpose for your life. This is the Spirit that empowers a man for the assignment that God gave him. The resurrection power is the secret behind a spirit-assisted life.

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Acts 1:8

“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Mark 16:17-18

Beloved, the supernatural life is the spirit-assisted life. This is the normal life for all believers in Christ. Believers live by the principle of the word of God, empowered by the Holy Spirit. This makes us His witnesses on earth. We are doing greater work than He did. We talk in tongues by His Spirit. We know what to do in every situation by His Spirit. We deal with the serpents and scorpions by His Spirit. This is because the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in us. We demonstrate power by His Spirit.

May you walk in the resurrection power, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Let the Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwell in me, in Jesus’ name.

Salvation: Lord Jesus, I believe in the forgiveness of sin and in the redemption from the power of darkness through your blood. I confess you as my Savior and Lord.  I invite you into my life to save my soul. Holy Spirit, come into my heart and make me what you want me to be. Thank you Lord for saving me in Jesus name.

Jesus is alive!

“I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.” Revelation 1:18KJV

The truth that Jesus is alive symbolizes victory over sin and death, and offers hope for eternal life. A song writer wrote, “Alive, alive. My Saviour is alive. The sting of death is gone. And now, He lives, I have eternal life, since Jesus is alive.” Jesus has swallowed death in victory. He holds the keys of hell and death. Satan is forever defeated. When we pray in the name of Jesus, no one has the power to resist. When we follow the way of Jesus, we live in the victory that He has provided for us.

“And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.” Luke 24:5-7

“But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.” 1 Corinthians 2:7-8

Two things are important: The first is that if you are a Christian, you must walk in the provision of Jesus death and resurrection. The power that raised Jesus from the dead must be at work in your life to make you a wonder to your generation. The second is that every non-Christian must be given the opportunity to hear that Jesus is alive and has obtained victory for all who will receive Him.

Let every good thing that is dead in your life come back to life, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Let the power that raise Jesus from the dead enter into my life, in Jesus’ name.

Your deliverance is secured

His water and His blood

“But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.” John 19:34KJV

We have a song in my local language that goes this way: Jesus, who has the water and the blood, repair and restore my life with your water and blood. The water is the cure for your mindset. It washes you and changes you. You know your life cannot really change until your mindset changes and conforms to the word of God. The word of God is likened to water (Eph 5:26, John 17:17, John 3:5). The blood is your security against the kingdom of darkness. The blood brings you into a new covenant with God, where all promises are accessed and satan is defeated.

“This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.” 1 John 5:6

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:2

Jesus gave us the water and the blood. You must use both for the newness of life. Mediate on the word until your thinking aligns with the word. The principles of life are embedded in the word of God. If you live by the word, you walk in the supernatural. The blood will secure you and protect you against the enemy (Exodus 12:13). If the blood of the new covenant is in place in your life, you cannot be defeated.

May you be transformed by the water and the blood, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God change my life and fortify me by the water and the blood of Jesus, in Jesus’ name.

His wounds and His death

“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.” Isaiah 53:4-5 KJV

His wounds and His death are vicarious liabilities! Our iniquities were laid on Him!! We were supposed to die and be punished for our sins, Jesus took the punishment on our behalf and died for our sins. Jesus took our place of sin so that we might take His place of righteousness. His wounds and His death secured our deliverance from contrary covenants and curses that held us bound and gave satan access to our lives..

“Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” Galatians 3:13-14

“Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.” Colossians 2:14-15

The sins are paid for, the covenants and evil dedications are broken, and the curses are turned into blessings. The implication is that satan’s hold is broken. We are free to be who God wants us to be. We must live and speak with the mindset of those who have received victory. We must walk in the light of what Jesus did for us.

Jesus set you free, you cannot be bound, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: I received the victory that His wound and His death bought for me, in Jesus’ name.

In His presence 2.

“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.” Psalm 100:4 KJV

Your access key to the presence of God is thanksgiving, praise, and boldness. Thanksgiving is appreciating God for what He has done; this takes you through the gates. Praise is exalting God for who He is, this takes you right into His courts, where He dwells. Boldness is confidence in God without condemnation in our hearts that takes us into the throne of grace, where judgment is bound and rendered powerless.

“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 4:16

“Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.” 1 John 3:21

Have a grateful heart, no matter your situation or condition. Giving thanks is the will of God for you, and He will give you access to Him. If there is praise in your mouth, God’s presence comes to you (2 Chronicles 20; Psalm 149:6). Let there be forgiveness in your heart for yourself and others. If you sin, repent and accept God’s forgiveness. Let there be no condemnation in your heart so that you can get right into God’s presence.

May you enjoy God’s presence wherever you are, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, take me into your dwelling place, in Jesus’ name.

In His presence 1.

“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 4:16KJV

I will like to share with you about the benefit of God’s presence and access into His presence. In the presence of God, you will find grace, mercy, timely help, and a and a fullness of joy and pleasure. You cannot have these and fail in life and destiny. In fact, one of them is enough to change your life forever. Uzziah became great because he was marvelously helped. Whenever mercy shows up, judgment always loses its power.

“Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” Psalm 16:11

“……. for he was marvellously helped, till he was strong.” 2 Chronicles 26:15

Grace gives you unusual enablement to do what otherwise or naturally you are not able to do. Mercy suspends judgment and commands favor. Help makes available what you don’t have. Joy is the real strength for living. It is God’s goodness that makes a man enjoy life and live at peace. I think you should ask God for these in your life. I believe every New Testament believer is a carrier of His presence and should naturally walk in what His presence gives.

May you be a carrier of His presence, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, give me grace, show me mercy and let me experience timely help in Jesus’ name.

Purpose, Passion, and Pursuit 3.

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33KJV

Pursuit implies actively seeking or striving after something. Believers in Christ are called to pursue God and His righteousness above all else. We must prioritize seeking God's kingdom and aligning our lives with His purposes. We must pursue holiness and spiritual growth. We must actively pursue a life of obedience, characterized by righteousness and holiness. People get what they pursue. If you pursue God and find Him, you will not only fulfill your destiny, but you will also be able to handle any challenges the world and satan throw at you (Jeremiah 29:11–13).

“Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:” Hebrews 14:12

“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:” Matthew 7:7

Pursuit is key in life to the extent that if you pursue nothing, you get nothing. Matthew 7:7 says you get what you pursue (my interpretation). However, you must be sure you are pursuing the right thing. You cannot pursue God and be wrong. You cannot pursue solving people’s problems and be wrong. Read Matthew 22:37–39. You cannot pursue faith, hope, and love and be wrong. You cannot pursue a sound mind and be wrong. You cannot pursue the anointing of the Holy Spirit and be wrong. You cannot pursue knowledge of the word and be wrong. You cannot pursue holiness and be wrong.

May you be at the center of God’s will for your life, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, if I am wrongly located, relocate me, in Jesus’ name.

Purpose, Passion, and Pursuit 2.

“Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;” Romans 12:11KJV

Passion also involves pursuing righteousness and God's kingdom with zeal and fervor. Passion also refers to an intense desire for or enthusiasm for something. In the biblical context, passion is closely linked to love—both for God and for others. Jesus identifies the greatest commandments as loving God with all our heart, soul, and mind and loving our neighbor as ourselves. This passionate love motivates believers to seek God wholeheartedly and to serve others sacrificially.

“Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.” Matthew 22:37-39

“His disciples remembered that it is written: “Zeal for your house will consume me.” John 2:17

To be passionate about a matter is to be sold out to that matter. To go beyond one's best. When the disciples saw the way Jesus pursued the traders out of the temple, they remembered that His zeal for the house would consume Him. Paul said he was not disobedient to heavenly vision (Acts 26:19). If you have passion for souls, you will pursue their recovery from hell with an intense desire. You should be passionate about both your personal assignment and the assignments given to you by God.

May you be consumed by a zeal from the Lord, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, put a passion for souls in my heart, in Jesus’ name.

Purpose, Passion, and Pursuit 1.

“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.” Rev 4:11KJV

Purpose, passion, and pursuit are foundational principles in the Christian faith. These can help a believer to discover his or her God-given purpose, cultivating a passionate love for God and others, and actively pursuing righteousness and God's kingdom. These principles provide a framework for living a meaningful and fulfilling life centered on God's will and purposes. The concepts of purpose, passion, and pursuit are deeply intertwined with the overarching narrative of God's plan for humanity and individual lives. These principles guide believers in understanding their identity, calling, and mission in the world. It is impossible to practically succeed at anything on earth without knowing its purpose and pursuing it with passion.

“For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.” Psalm 139:13-14

“There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand.” Proverbs 19:21

Purpose refers to the reason for which something is created or exists. You were created with a unique purpose designed by God. God puts in you a great value and crafted a purpose for your existence. If you discover God’s purpose for your life and align yourself with His will, you will fulfill your destiny. It is important for you to surrender your personal ambitions to God's greater purpose, trusting in His wisdom and sovereignty.

Oh God, reveal myself to me, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, do whatever You want with my life, in Jesus’ name.

Have a healthy prayer life.

“Now it came to pass in those days that He went out to the mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.” Luke 6:12KJV

Jesus had a healthy and successful prayer life. He continued to pray all night. Sometimes he would wake up early in the morning to pray. The Son of the Living God prioritized prayer during His time on earth. What was He praying for? Why would He spend all night praying? This is because He must hear God and judge the way God judges. He was not praying for food and clothing. He was praying for God’s empowerment to succeed in His assignment. And then He did not have to worry about food, clothing, or shelter.

“And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.” Mark 1:35

“I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.” John 5:30

If you have a healthy prayer life, you will be able to avoid wrong decisions, wrong steps, wrong people, and wrong business. You will walk in the center of God’s will for your life because God will make His light available to you. Most of our struggles in life are because we do not know what we are supposed to know. A healthy prayer life will help you deal with matters with God’s help.

May you know the mind of God daily, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, show me your way and lead me in the right path, in Jesus’ name.

Keys to solving life’s problems 5.

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.’” 2 Timothy 1:7KJV

There are solutions in your mind; only if you “mine” your mind can you see them. You have a sound mind; God gave it to you. You can “mine” your mind by thinking. You will not believe what God has put into your mind until you begin to exercise your mind through thinking. You can actually think through a problem and know what to do to solve it. Put your mind to work through thinking.

“And Jacob took him rods of green poplar, and of the hazel and chesnut tree; and pilled white strakes in them, and made the white appear which was in the rods.” Genesis 30:37

“And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.” Genesis 11:6

There is creativity in your mind. There is innovation in your mind. As you pray, think also. You can see profitable things through your mind. Your mind is powerful. Your imagination is powerful. Separate time to think. Your mind can be made more productive through active learning and meditation on the word of God. More importantly, you have the mind of Christ, so you too can do mighty works (Philippians 2:5, Mark 6:2).

May your mind produce results, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God put Your mind in me, in Jesus’ name.

Keys to solving life’s problems 4.

“So the king of Israel answered and said, “Tell him, ‘Let not the one who puts on his armor boast like the one who takes it off.’” 1 Kings 20:11 NKJV

One of the greatest ways to solve any problem is to be tutored or mentored by someone who has gone through a similar situation. Daddy Isaac Omolehin shared a story of a crisis he went through several years ago. He fasted for forty days, and the crisis did not go away. Someone took him to Baba Obadare. Baba did not even pray but told him what to do. Baba said he had the same problem many years ago. Daddy Omolehin did the same thing, and that was the end of the crisis.

“He who walks with wise men will be wise, But the companion of fools will be destroyed.” Proverbs 13:20

““Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: 25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.” Matthew 7:24-25

The people you have surrounded yourself with may determine whether you will overcome a challenge or not. If you walk with wise men, you will be wise, but a companion of fools will be swallowed up. Who you listen to and follow matters. You need light to solve life’s problems. If you follow carriers of light, you cannot walk in darkness.

May you be blessed with the right people, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God bless me with wise and caring men and women, in Jesus’ name.

Keys to solving life’s problems 3.

“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Luke 10:19

Some of life’s problems will not go away unless you exercise the authority given to you by God through the Holy Spirit. As a Christian, you are not powerless. You are anointed and have authority given to you by God. You have power over satan and the problems he has thrown your way. You must exercise your authority over the works of the enemy that are against you. You must bind the forces that are sustaining adversity against you. You must also learn to talk directly to your situation. No matter the challenge that comes your way, always speak against it in the name of the Lord. Speak until you see results.

“And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Matthew 16:19

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” Acts 10:38

Address both the symptoms and the root of it with authority in the name of Jesus. You are anointed to destroy the work of darkness. Now let me tell you this: you may not get results immediately, but you have to keep at it. Most people give up easily and think that it does not work. It always works. Be persistent and consistent, and see your troubles give way to the power of God in your life.

You are anointed, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: I take authority over the root cause of affliction in my life and I command the root to dry up, in Jesus’ name.

Keys to solving life’s problems 2.

“Good understanding giveth favour: But the way of transgressors is hard.” Proverbs 13:15

The wisdom of God is found in the written word of God, the Bible. A deliberate transgression against what is written amounts to foolishness and causes hardship in the lives of men. You will find in the Bible that some problems can be solved by fasting and praying. Some can be solved by giving praise. Some other problems will go away if you simply forgive. Some others can be solved if you engage in giving sacrificially. In every case, if you hear God and do whatever He says, you will have solutions. Obedience is a master key to solving life’s problems.

“His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.” John 2:5

“And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean? Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.” 2 Kings 5:13-14

Underscoring most problems in life is disobedience. Obedience is the only power to quench the fruit of disobedience. You can judge all disobedience when your obedience is complete. A discipline to obey is the discipline that will give you peace in life. Disobedience may seem sweet for a season, but it produces hardship and problems in the future. Fight disobedience in your life, particularly when it has to do with the law of God.

May you hear God and do what He is saying, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, teach me Your ways and lead me in Your path, in Jesus’ name.

Keys to solving life’s problems 1.

“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.” Proverbs 4:7

In a few days, I would like to share with you the keys to solving life’s problems. Life problems come to all. Some are easy, while others are hard. However, all problems are either wisdom problems or power problems. Most problems will be solved if you have the wisdom to handle them. Problems in life are always asking a question: What are you going to do now? If you know what to do, you have conquered that problem. This is why the greatest favor you can do to yourself is to seek wisdom. Prioritize the wisdom of God; if you have the wisdom of God, you will solve all problems. Men have acquired wisdom too, through experience and other challenges in life. Some of them put their wisdom in books; you should read the books and be wise.

“The labour of the foolish wearieth every one of them, because he knoweth not how to go to the city.” Ecclesiastes 10:15

“There is a man in thy kingdom, in whom is the spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of thy father light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, was found in him; whom the king Nebuchadnezzar thy father, the king, I say, thy father, made master of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers; Forasmuch as an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and shewing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar: now let Daniel be called, and he will shew the interpretation.” Daniel 5:11-12

You cannot neglect wisdom. Anyone who does, do so at his or her peril. Whether marriage, business, relationship, finance, or destiny, wisdom will always deliver you. Wisdom is a defense, but it also gives life to those who have it (Ecc. 7:12).

May you know what to do in very situation in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let light, understanding and wisdom from you enter into me, in Jesus’ name.

Choose to know God’s way!

“He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.” Psalm 103:7

There are many differences between wanting who God is and what God has. A shallow relationship desires to receive what God has, while a deeper relationship desires to receive His person. You will never have to worry about receiving what He has if you have received His person and have a personal understanding of His ways. The majority are interested in the acts of God, but only a few are interested in knowing His ways. This is what separates the real Christians from the crowd of churchgoers.

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33

“As I was in the days of my youth, when the secret of God was upon my tabernacle.” Job 29:4

You can continually experience the act of God if you have access to the secrets of God. The great news is that God is willing to share His secrets with you if you desire them. Job walked in prosperity and dominion because he had access to the secrets of God. He had a deeper experience with God. Daniel could do what only the gods could do because he had access to the secret of God (Daniel 2, 5, 6; John 10:35). Beloved, you may need to change your approach towards God. Desire a deeper experience with Him to know His ways and His secrets and to walk in them. If you do, you will no longer worry about the benefits of the kingdom, which include prosperity, security, dominion, and the supernatural.

As you seek God with the whole of your heart, you will find Him in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, take into a deeper and a higher experience with You, in Jesus’ name.

But God was with Him!

“And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him,And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.” Acts 7:9-10

When you build your relationship with God, you are building on the solid rock that can never fail. This is because if God is on your side, no challenges can overcome you. The presence of God is secured by daily and consistent fellowship with Him. If God’s presence is important to you, you must separate time daily to fellowship with him. It does not matter what people or this world throw at you, if God is with you, you will overcome. Spend time to meditate on God’s word and to pray. Live in obedience to God’s instruction.

“There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” Genesis 39:9

“Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.” Daniel 6:10.

Joseph, in our text today, is one of the characters in the Bible who proved that a relationship with God is very important. His brethren sold him to Egypt, but the presence of God in his life turned things around in his favor. Even when his master’s wife wanted an adulterous relationship with him, he refused because of his relationship with God. Another character is Daniel. In Daniel 6, some men plotted against him, but he continued his fellowship with God. They succeeded in having him thrown into Lion’s Den, but yet they could not destroy him because God was with him.

May God’s presence abide with you, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let my soul long after you as the hart long after the water brooks, in Jesus’ name.

Be willing to be used by God.

“If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:” Isaiah 1:19.

God still needs men to deliver the supernatural among men in order to execute His plans on earth. God’s pattern has not changed. If you are willing to be used by God, you must hear Him, believe Him, and submit to His will for your life. Paul was used because he submitted to the will of God as revealed to him in a heavenly vision. Even Mary accepted the assignment of God for her life, though it might cost her “shame” for a season.

“Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision.” Acts 26:19

“And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.” Luke 1:38.

You know what I normally say to people: someone is using you, whether you are conscious of it or not. It is better for you to consciously and committedly allow God to use you. You will never regret it. You may be timid like Gideon, but if you accept the call of God upon your life, He will use you. You may be a nobody like David, but if you seek the face of God, you will hear Him, and He will use you. The best that can happen to a man is for God to put him in the plans He has for the world.

May you receive a vision from God, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let Your word come unto me and let Your anointing rest on me, in Jesus’ name.

Two are better than one!

“Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.” Ecclesiastes 4:9.

Are you being confronted by an intimidating situation or circumstances? Get someone to agree with you in prayer. Are you being overwhelmed by doubt or unbelief, and you are finding it hard to pray? Then get someone who can pray with you in agreement. You can always beat any weakness of the flesh if you find a prayer partner. More importantly, if two are in agreement in prayer, God will grant their request.

“Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 18:19

“And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.” Acts 16:25-26.

The story of Paul and Silas is evidence of what prayer of agreement can do. Particularly if both people can feel each other struggles and challenges. It is really a great blessing to find someone who is not going through what you are going through, but can feel you, empathize with you, and agree with you in prayer. Two keys I have found important. The first is that you should always pray for people who are going through similar challenges as yours, even in your closet. Secondly, get involved in the work of God.

I am in agreement with you that your prayers are answered, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Get someone to agree with you and pray with you. If you are married ask your spouse to agree with you.

"Giving shape to your destiny”

The answer is in the Book!

“In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.” Daniel 9:2

The answer you are looking for is in the book of the books, the Bible. Search the scriptures. Meditate on the word. Ask God for access to the mysteries of His word. Ask that the word be opened to you. You will find healing, deliverance, direction, help, encouragement, and empowerment in the Book. The Spirit behind the Book gives life. The Book will make you wise. The Book will help you to pray correctly. The Book has the secret that your destiny needs.

"Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.” Matthew 22:29KJV

“If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken.” John 10:35

If you know the scriptures, you will not fall into error in life or in destiny. If you know the Scriptures, you will have access to the power of God. The scripture cannot be broken. Everything else can and will be shaken; only the word of God abides forever. If you do the word, act on the word, confess the word, believe the word, and pray the word, you cannot be shaken by any issue of life.

You are more than conquerors, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, open my understanding to comprehend the scriptures, in Jesus’ name.

God will lift you up!

“When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up; and he shall save the humble person.” Job 22:29

If you walk with God, He will surely lift you. I don’t care to know where you are or what you are going through, but I do care to announce to you that God is a lifter, and He will lift you. It takes humility to walk with God. It takes persistence, consistency, and focus to walk with God. If you are desperate enough for God, He will lift you. God has a word for you, and He has made His Spirit available to men. If you hear His voice and receive His Spirit, you will break your limits.

"But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.” Psalm 3:3 KJV

“He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the Lord's, and he hath set the world upon them.” 1 Samuel 2:8

Open your arms to God in humility. Let humility drive you to spend time with God. Let humility drive you to obey Him in all things. Let humility drive you to submit to Him. No matter how long it takes, stay with God and let Him lift you. I can assure you that if you find God and His secret, you can never remain on the floor.

You are going to the next level, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, lift me up and take me to the next level, in Jesus’ name.
