Painless deliveries

“Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child. Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.” Isaiah 66:7-8.

Welcome to the month of the wisdom and power of God. This is the key to painless deliveries. Can a woman deliver without pain? Yes, if God is the one providing the push. A nation can be born in a day if God is the power and wisdom behind it. Perhaps you have been struggling and hustling alone; it is time to connect to the wisdom and power of God for supernatural deliveries. Let God work through you and supply His strength for the pushing.

“I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel: speak unto them, saying, At even ye shall eat flesh, and in the morning ye shall be filled with bread; and ye shall know that I am the Lord your God.  And it came to pass, that at even the quails came up, and covered the camp: and in the morning the dew lay round about the host.” Exodus 16:12-13

“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31

Have you ever considered asking how many quails the children of Israel could catch if they hunted by themselves? It could only be a few. However, when God did the hunting, quails fell on their laps.  You must connect to the wisdom and power of God for your daily living, and then you will realize that you can deliver exceptional results without stress. Learn to wait on the Lord until He fills you with the food and drinks of heaven.

May you experience painless deliveries this month, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let your wisdom and power be at work in me, in Jesus’ name.

Salvation: Lord Jesus, I believe in the forgiveness of sin and in the redemption from the power of darkness through your blood. I confess you as my Savior and Lord.  I invite you into my life to save my soul. Holy Spirit, come into my heart and make me what you want me to be. Thank you Lord for saving me in Jesus name.

Thanksgiving

”In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18.

Thanksgiving is the will of God for you. You can never be wrong when you give thanks. Thanksgiving is an indication of a grateful heart. Be grateful to God at all times and in all seasons. Thanksgiving is both emotional and spiritual. Thanksgiving grants you access to the presence of God. As the month of August 2023 ends today, be grateful to God and give thanks.

“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” Philippians 4:6

“Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the Lord, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the Lord, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.” Exodus 15:1-2

God cannot reject your gratitude. If you want answers to prayers at all times, wrap your request with thanksgiving. Start with thanksgiving and end with thanksgiving. Let your thanksgiving be more than your request. Perhaps you have a situation that is worrisome to you, don’t be anxious, give thanks, present your request to God; and give thanks again. You can expect divine intervention and manifestation.

This is your season of supernatural delivery, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, thank You for what You have done, thank You for what You are doing, and thank You for what You will do for me, in Jesus’ name.

The secret of God

”As I was in the days of my youth, when the secret of God was upon my tabernacle” Job 29:4.

You can have access to the secret of God. This is key to staying on top of situations in this world. When you access the secret of men, you rule like men, but when you access the secret of God, you rule like “god” among men. Study the lives of Joseph and Daniel. They understood the secrets of men and had access to the secrets of God, and that was why they ruled like God among men. Job became the richest man of his time because he had access to the secret of God.

"If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;” John 10:35

“The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; And he will shew them his covenant.” Psalms 25:14

Now you can access the secrets of men by listening to them, reading the books they wrote, and relating to them. You must not be lazy at doing that, but as a Christian in this end time, what will make you stand out is access to the secret of God. There is an information bank beyond the mental realm of men that belongs to you as a Child of God. This bank is what I call the Secret of God, which you must explore. This secret can be accessed by walking in the fear of God (Psalm 25:14), meditating on the word of God (Joshua 1:8), Praying in tongues regularly, and asking God specifically to grant you access to His secret in prayer.

May the secret of God be upon your tabernacle, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, reveal to me Your secret, in Jesus’ name.

Reinforced prayer

“And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.” Acts 10:4.

When you are praying for prosperity and financial breakthroughs, you must reinforce your prayer by giving. If you are seeking a turnaround in your destiny or fighting a foundational battle, add sacrificial giving to your prayer. At any level you find yourself, there is a sacrificial seed in your hand. If you withhold the seed for any reason, you short-circuit yourself. The law of seed and harvest can never be broken.

“While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.” Genesis 8:22

“And when the king of Moab saw that the battle was too sore for him, he took with him seven hundred men that drew swords, to break through even unto the king of Edom: but they could not. Then he took his eldest son that should have reigned in his stead, and offered him for a burnt offering upon the wall. And there was great indignation against Israel: and they departed from him, and returned to their own land.” 2 Kings 3:26-27

As you are praying for a financial breakthrough, give to the poor, give to the widow, give to the church, and support ministries. Engage in painful and sacrificial giving to enter into a gainful and supernatural harvest. God can never turn down prayers reinforced with sacrificial giving.

Your prayers and giving shall ascend to the throne of grace, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, give me a supernatural financial breakthrough, in Jesus’ name.

Rehearse your past victories

“Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God.” 1 Samuel 17:36.

God is not intimidated by the size of your challenges, whether big or small. If He has handled “small challenges” before, you just need to trust Him again to handle “big challenges.” All challenges are the same before God. If you allow Him to work through you, you will always have victory. David knew that the same God who helped him kill a Lion and a bear could help him kill Goliath. And God did, notwithstanding the instruments he had in his hand.

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.” Ephesians 3:20-21

“They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.” Psalms 125:1

The fact that God has done something for you before is an indication that He can do greater things again and again. I don’t care to know how big your present challenge is, but I do care to announce to you that if you can rehearse your past victories, then you can experience greater victory even now.

I decree that your Goliath shall come down and God will give you new victories, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let me experience victory daily in my life, in Jesus’ name.

Fear thou not!

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:10

Fear is a weapon of the enemy. Its supporting structures are doubt and unbelief. Whenever a man responds to God’s word with doubt and unbelief, fear sets in. When fear sets in, it opens the door for the enemy to operate. It does not matter what you have heard or what you are going through, God’s word is powerful enough to change things and handle the situation. God asked me to tell you not to fear; only believe.

“As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.” Mark 5:36

“Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.” Acts 27:25

The consciousness of God’s presence, the infallibility of His word, and the power of His love must give you the boldness to conquer your fear and move into your destiny. The ruler of the Synagogue was told that his daughter was dead, but Jesus told him not to fear but to believe. He believed Jesus, and the situation turned into a miracle. Paul and others went through a great storm that made the people not eat for at least 14 days. God told Paul that none of them would die. Paul believed God and communicated the same word to the people. None of them were lost in the storm. Beloved, I see God manifesting in that situation and bringing you victory. Fear not, and enter the new week with confidence that God is turning things around for your miracle.

May fear die, may faith be alive in you, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God manifest your power in my life and let my situation of fear turn to miracle testimony, in Jesus’ name.

Dealing with discouragement

“Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; For I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God.” Psalm 43:5

No matter how strong you are, there is a moment of weakness. There will be a time when you need encouragement; when things seem not to be going as planned or when it seems things are going wrong. In such a situation, what do you do? David went through such a situation several times. In each of those times, he spoke to his soul, encouraged himself, and turned to God for help. I believe what your soul is receiving at a moment of discouragement is of the utmost importance. The word of God you have heard and the word of God you are hearing are your keys to overcoming discouragement. It is your responsibility to choose to hear the right words.

“And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God.” 1 Samuel 30:6

“Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me. Yet the Lord will command his lovingkindness in the day time, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life.” Psalms 42:7-8

I have always remembered two statements from the Lord whenever discouragement set in. The first is that “if you stay with God, all shall be well.” The second is that “you are alone except for God and whoever He sends to you.” These two statements indicate that you must never be discouraged from seeking God and that you should never give up on God, no matter the situation. It has always worked for me. Perhaps you are going through discouragement right now, God asked me to tell you it is well with your soul.

Let your spirit be lifted, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, help me, in Jesus’ name.

Defeating defeats 5

“And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,” Luke 15:17-18

Anyone can make mistakes, but as a Christian, never run away from the bosom of the Father. Outside the bosom of the Father is defeat. You can always overcome any defeat when you are in fellowship with the Father. Abide in Him and let Him abide in you. When the prodigal son left the bosom of the Father, he suffered defeat. However, when he returned, hoping to just be a servant, the father received him as his son. You will always be a son in the heart of the Father, no matter what you have done or how you have missed it, abide in Him.

“Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” John 15:4-5

“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?” Romans 8:31-32

The kind of wisdom and power you will have depends on who you fellowship with and with whom you have an intimacy. You can never be intimate with God and be defeated. No physical or spiritual enemy or situation can withstand His presence. If you commit a sin, repent and stay in His presence. If you are facing any hardship, stay in His presence. When God is for you, nothing can be against you.

You have victory, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let your presence be with me and give me rest, in Jesus’ name.

Defeating defeats 4

“Come now therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people; for they are too mighty for me: peradventure I shall prevail, that we may smite them, and that I may drive them out of the land: for I wot that he whom thou blessest is blessed, and he whom thou cursest is cursed.” Numbers 22:6

All major and significant defeats in the life of anyone originate from a curse, a jinx, or hexes. As a believer, you are not under any curse because Jesus Christ has redeemed us from all curses. However, if defeats are evident in any area of your life, you have to invoke the finished work of Christ to curse the curse, connect to the blessing, and defeat the defeat. If you don't, you may suffer like mere men. Balak asked Balaam to come and curse Israel because he wanted to defeat them. Goliath cursed David first because he wanted to defeat David. You must be blessed and anointed to turn defeat into victory

“And the Philistine said unto David, Am I a dog, that thou comest to me with staves? And the Philistine cursed David by his gods.” 1 Samuel 17:43

“Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” Galatians 3:13-14

A curse is the primary reason behind financial hardship, barrenness, and failure of any form. A curse is the empowerment to suffer defeat. The blessing on the underside is the empowerment to have victory and to succeed. You can curse the curse and proclaim the blessing as a child of God. Do not keep quiet if you have been harassed by defeat in any area of life.

I curse the curse and proclaim the blessing over you, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, bless me indeed and enlarge my coast, in Jesus’ name.

Defeating defeats 3

“If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken John 10:35

To be ignorant is to be in darkness. To be ignorant is to be susceptible to defeat. You cannot afford to be ignorant, both physically and spiritually. You are a god; don’t die like mere men. You need revelation to defeat defeat and stay victorious. The enemy likes to attack from hiding; only revelation can expose him. If you knew, you would not have experienced defeat. You must defeat ignorance to turn things around and defeat defeat. When Joshua did not know, AI defeated Israel. However, when he knew the root cause and took the necessary action, he defeated the defeats.

“I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.” Psalms 82:6-7

“And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” John 1:5

The enemy likes to attack in hiding. He does not want to be exposed. Unfortunately, most Christians are defeated by hidden enemies. The enemies must be exposed so that you can defeat them. You must receive and radiate a light that defeats any darkness that is against you. Ask God to reveal the secret of what you are going through. Ask him to expose the enemy within and without you.

You will never be overcome by darkness, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, reveal to me the secret of any battle in my life, in Jesus’ name.

Defeating defeats 2

“I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him: With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him. The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him. And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him.” Psalms 89:20-23

The anointing is the antidote to all defeats. You cannot be anointed and be defeated. David was anointed, and Goliath could not kill him. He only carried five stones and a sling to fight goliath. You must be anointed. This is because the earth is a habitation of wickedness. Your contention is not with flesh and blood. You are contending with spirits. Your battles are not just physical. They are spiritual. Dealing with poverty is spiritual. Dealing with failure and infirmities is spiritual. Stay in God’s presence until you are anointed.

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” Acts 10:38

“He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes; Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.” Psalms 105:14-15

Beloved, you can turn the battle against the enemy if you are anointed. You can beat the enemy at his gates. You can go back to where you were defeated and defeat the enemy. You can recover all that the enemy took from you. No Christian can do without the anointing. You must hunger and thirst for the anointing until you are anointed. This is your key to subduing the adversary and even taking his territory.

Your head shall lack no oil in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, anoint me with the Holy Ghost and power in Jesus’ name.

Defeating defeats 1

“O Lord, what shall I say, when Israel turneth their backs before their enemies!” Joshua 7:8

You can turn things around and defeat what defeated you. As a child of God, nothing should defeat you. Poverty, sickness, strong men, and evil personalities should never defeat you. If it ever happens, something is wrong. You must find the root cause and deal with it. You must take the battle back to the gate of the enemy and defeat him there. Your first action should be to ask God to show you the root cause, and you must deal with whatever He shows. You must act on God’s instructions.

“Israel hath sinned, and they have also transgressed my covenant which I commanded them: for they have even taken of the accursed thing, and have also stolen, and dissembled also, and they have put it even among their own stuff. Therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies, but turned their backs before their enemies, because they were accursed: neither will I be with you any more, except ye destroy the accursed from among you.” Proverbs 24:10

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” 1 John 5:4

Most of the time, when a child of God goes through a defeat, God’s covenant has been violated. God is committed to His covenant with you, and the enemy is forbidden from prevailing over you. But when you bring in the accursed things, you turn a blessing into a curse. When you break the covenant, you open the door to attack from the enemy. The enemy is also always looking for an opening to come in. I decree that whatever door is opened for the enemy in your life is shut down by the blood of Jesus.

The covenant of God shall give you strength in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: I decree that you are blessed in Jesus’ name.

To know and to do!

“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:32

Everyone has two major responsibilities in this world: to know the truth and to do the truth. If anything is wrong with your life, the reason can be traced to what you are supposed to know that you do not know or what you know that you are not doing. You must be intentional about knowing what you should know to be who you are supposed to be. You must do what you are supposed to do, whether it is convenient or not.

“And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.” Luke 12:47-48

“If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct.” Ecclesiastes 10:10

Don’t be too quick to do something without knowing. But when you know, don’t delay in taking action. Your first step in changing your situation is your hunger for learning. Learn new things, learn more to know more. Learn at the feet of Jesus. Most of the time, when you conquer spiritual ignorance, it becomes easy to know what to learn physically. Put what you have learned into practice.  Be consistent and persistent. This is the secret to birthing the change you need.

May you experience the change you desire in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, teach me and lead me in Jesus’ name.

Just look unto Jesus

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:22

No matter what you are going through, just look unto Jesus. If you do, the winning faith will be born in you. He will give you faith and guide you to a victorious end. Moreover, he endured the cross, and despised the shame to achieve glory. When you look unto Jesus, you will be confident that all will end in glory for you. Jesus will speak to you, encourage you, empower you, and walk with you if you look unto Him. I believe looking unto Him means fellowshipping with Him to receive from Him until you have your victory.

“And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.  But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?  And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.” Matthew 14: 28-32

The story of Peter walking alone on the water and walking with Jesus holding his hands is an encouragement for all of us. If you are afraid, look unto Jesus. He will speak to you, and your fear will be gone. If the storm is raging against you and it seems you are sinking, ask Jesus to help you. He will hold your hand, and both of you will walk through it together. Never break your fellowship with Jesus. This fellowship is a sure way to have power over adversities and challenging times.

May you look unto Jesus and see Him in your present situation, May you advance into glory and honor in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Jesus Christ, manifest Yourself as Lord, in every area of my life..

The act of being desperate in prayer

“And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.” Genesis 32:26

The act of being desperate in prayer is dependent on two factors. The first is a desperate need; the other is an unwavering conviction that God will do it. The implication is that the one praying is willing to stay till answers come, there is no room for “NO.” This is the act of a person with a “yes” faith. The late Archbishop Idahosa of blessed memory said, if your faith says yes, God will never say no. Truly, in the scriptures, no one who engaged in desperate prayer returned without an answer. It may take time, like Job’s situation; they stayed till it was well with their request.

“If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.” Job 14:14

““And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.” 1 Samuel 1:11

Jacob said, I will not let you go unless you bless me. Rachel said, give me a man child or I die. Hannah said if you give me a man child I will give him back to you. Zacchaeus said, Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me. The Apostle said we would not leave unless you endued us with power from on high. Perhaps you are in a desperate situation, what are you going to say? You can never approach God with a single heart to receive yes and not have it (James 1:5).

It is well with your soul, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God reveal Yourself in my life as my Father, in Jesus’ name.

The name of the Lord

“The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.” Proverbs 18:10

One of the realities I have experienced as a believer in Christ is the reality of what the name of the Lord can do for me. Whether you are confronted by physical or spiritual enemies, the name of the Lord is a strong tower. Whether you are in a negative situation orchestrated by the kingdom of darkness or the kingdom of men, the name of the Lord is your defense and your rescue. I can boldly tell you that if you have the name of the Lord, you have solutions to all problems, both physical and spiritual.

“Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied. This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.” 1 Samuel 17:45-46

“Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.” Acts 2:6

For a new testament believer, the name of the Lord is the same as the name of Jesus Christ. A young lady was in a church in the northern part of Nigeria when some religious fanatics started approaching the church with cutlasses and other dangerous weapons, including fire and gasoline. She declared loudly, “Powers that want to waste me, in the name of Jesus, fall down and die.” The leader of the assailants suddenly fell down and was holding his tummy. The others saw this and fled. If you invoke the name of the Lord, you have a defense, supernatural provision, and total breakthrough.

Receive your miracle today, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Let the gates that lead into the city open for me on their own accord, in Jesus’ name.

By His Spirit

“Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.” Zechariah 4:6

God’s help for man is made available through His Word and His Spirit. There is nothing you cannot do if you receive God’s word and His Spirit. You may be physically incapable, but if you can wait on God to receive His Word and His Spirit, your results will be supernatural. Zerubbabel was given the enormous task of building the temple. It was an intimidating task. However, He received the strength to do it by receiving a word from the Lord and the Spirit of the Lord. I don’t care to know what God has laid on your heart to do, but I do care to tell you that you can do it by His Spirit. Never run without His Spirit upon you.

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:13

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Acts 1:8

If people have called you a failure, you can change that! All you have to do is stay in God’s presence until He speaks to you and fills you with His Spirit. As a Christian, you need to prioritize the Holy Spirit in your life. You will not accomplish much without Him. Don’t be casual with your Christian life, and be willing to go all the way for the fullness of the Spirit in your life. This is our key to receiving His strength and doing all things.

May you be strengthened by the Lord, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: O God fill me with the Holy Spirit and power in Jesus’ name.

Expect great things

“When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them. The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.” Psalms 126:1-3

Expectations precede manifestations. As a person in covenant with God, you can expect a total turnaround and great things. No matter what you are going through, the Lord will do great things for you. Think great things, talk great things, and expect great things. This is because God wants to fill your mouth with laughter and your tongue with singing so that the unbelievers around you can say that God has done great things for you.

“And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.” Luke 1:36

“And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.” John 6:8-9

God gives things that are spiritual and eternal, which makes your physical life better. Your covenant relationship with Him gives you access to great things. Things that are beyond ordinary. Things like an old woman becoming pregnant and a lame man receiving strength in his legs. God is not “broke”, and nothing is too hard for Him. Do not limit Him in your life. Spend time with Him and ask Him for great things. Do not leave His presence until you believe that you have received.

God will do great things for you this week, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: O God arise, and turn again my captivity in Jesus’ name.

Miracle thinking!

“And he took his staff in his hand, and chose him five smooth stones out of the brook, and put them in a shepherd's bag which he had, even in a scrip; and his sling was in his hand: and he drew near to the Philistine.” 1 Samuel 17:40

Some levels of abnormal thinking may be needed to experience a miracle. I call it miracle thinking. Miracle thinking is, “thinking big, thinking God.” How do you explain the fact that David went against Goliath with five stones and a sling?  He believed he could slay a giant with a seemingly useless instrument! That thinking was abnormal, but that was what brought him out of obscurity into the limelight.  It was his miracle thinking that brought about his breakthrough. For it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in you. Miracle thinking is based on the belief that the power of God is at work in you. When you hear God, it is not difficult to think miracles.

“But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.” Exodus 14:16

“One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, saith unto him, There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?” John 6:8-9

What I have called miracle thinking is what others have called possibility thinking. When you begin to think that you can divide the red sea with a rod in your hand. When your thinking pattern says you can feed more than five thousand people with two loaves and five fish. Then you are ready for a miracle. This kind of thinking only comes when you walk with God or keep company with people who believe God. It is called a God-kind of faith.

May you hear God and believe him for your miracle, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: O God, give me Your kind of faith in Jesus’ name.

Subject to change!

“While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:18

All physical things are temporal and therefore subject to change. You can change things. You can change your situation. Nothing is final except the Word of God. If it can be perceived by the five physical senses, then it’s not permanent. Poverty, lack, and debt are subject to change. All diseases are subject to change. Failures and disappointments are subject to change. All things have the capacity to hear and obey and are therefore subject to change.

“Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.” Hebrews 12:26-27 KJV

“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith." Mark 11:23 KJV

To change anything, you must not permit it or manage it. You must grow in wisdom and power. Some issues will just get out of your life because you have grown. Grow in your walk with the Lord and in your relationship with the Holy Spirit. What you say is important. Use your word to accept what you want and reject what you don’t want. Be prayerful; prayer changes things.

It is a new season, in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: I decree that I am blessed and highly favored, in Jesus’ name.

It stopped at the cross!

“When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.” John 19:38

Yes, it did. The curses, the jinxes, the hexes, the evil dedication, the demonic covenant, the sin, and all wickedness that gave satan access to afflict any man or any destiny. They all ended at Calvary. The question is, if it did, why are many Christians afflicted? What should be done to enforce the finished work? If the cross was the last card that finished the devil, why does the enemy seem to be doing what he likes against us? The truth is that satan is an illegal assailant; you must drag him to the court of the almighty and enforce your rights. The mystery of the cross is that satan is forever defeated (1 Corinthians 2:7-9)

“Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.” Colossians 2:14-156 KJV

“Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith." Galatians 3:13-14 KJV

The cross must be effective in our lives. Whatever died with the cross must not be alive in our lives. You must stay in the court of the almighty until you possess the victory that the cross purchased for you. Don’t accept to leave a defeated life. Jesus has set you free; you cannot be bound. You are blessed and anointed. You are more than a conqueror. Greater is He that is in you. You have the authority to bind and to loose. What are you waiting for? Invoke the cross against the adversary, and don’t stop until you see the results.

The enemy is defeated before you, in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: I drag you stan to the court of the almighty and enforce the finished work of the cross against you, in Jesus’ name.
