“When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.” John 19:38
Yes, it did. The curses, the jinxes, the hexes, the evil dedication, the demonic covenant, the sin, and all wickedness that gave satan access to afflict any man or any destiny. They all ended at Calvary. The question is, if it did, why are many Christians afflicted? What should be done to enforce the finished work? If the cross was the last card that finished the devil, why does the enemy seem to be doing what he likes against us? The truth is that satan is an illegal assailant; you must drag him to the court of the almighty and enforce your rights. The mystery of the cross is that satan is forever defeated (1 Corinthians 2:7-9)
“Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.” Colossians 2:14-156 KJV
“Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse
for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the
blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we
might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith." Galatians 3:13-14
KJV
The cross must be effective in our lives. Whatever died with the cross must not be alive in our lives. You must stay in the court of the almighty until you possess the victory that the cross purchased for you. Don’t accept to leave a defeated life. Jesus has set you free; you cannot be bound. You are blessed and anointed. You are more than a conqueror. Greater is He that is in you. You have the authority to bind and to loose. What are you waiting for? Invoke the cross against the adversary, and don’t stop until you see the results.
The enemy is defeated before you, in Jesus' name.
Prayer for today: I drag you stan to the court of the almighty and enforce the finished work of the cross against you, in Jesus’ name.
Salvation: Lord Jesus, I believe in the forgiveness of sin
and in the redemption from the power of darkness through your blood. I confess
you as my Savior and Lord. I invite you into my life to save my soul.
Holy Spirit, come into my heart and make me what you want me to be. Thank you
Lord for saving me in Jesus name.
