Spirit empowered 1

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Acts 1:8

You are welcome to the year 2022. For us as a ministry, it is a year of supernatural manifestations. These manifestations are empowered and enabled by the Holy Spirit. We are going to give the Holy Spirit all the rooms and give Him preeminence over our lives to obtain supernatural results. We will prioritize our fellowship with Him and hearken unto His voice. We will walk in the wisdom and in the power of God through our relationship with the Holy Spirit.

“And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.” Luke 1:35

“Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.” Isaiah 32:15

Expect restoration, fruitfulness, uncommon results as you give the Holy Spirit first place in your life. Tell Him that you have no strength of your own, but you are totally dependent on the strength He will give you. And separate yourself daily for a time of fellowship with Him. I decree that every good testimony you have missed in the previous years shall not elude you this year in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Holy Spirit, empower me for supernatural manifestations in Jesus name.

Salvation: Lord Jesus, I believe in the forgiveness of sin and in the redemption from the power of darkness through your blood. I confess you as my Savior and Lord.  I invite you into my life to save my soul. Holy Spirit, come into my heart and make me what you want me to be. Thank you Lord for saving me in Jesus name.

Give thanks

“O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.” Psalm 118:1

It’s the last day of the year 2021, let us give thanks unto the Lord. Many are no more, but you are alive, give thanks. For all your victories and even defeats this year 2021, give thanks. For His faithfulness at all times and in all seasons, give thanks. Where others passed and are no more, you passed through unscathed, give thanks. For His mercies where you have been found inadequate give thanks. There are many reasons to give thanks for seeing the end of this tempestuous year 2021.

“I called upon the Lord in distress: the Lord answered me, and set me in a large place.” Psalms 118:5

“It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.” Lamentation 3:22-24

Qualifications, strength, beauty have failed many, but you are standing and hopeful because of His mercies. What consumed others could not consume you, give thanks. More importantly, because of the new mercies and new help you are going to enjoy, give thanks. Beloved, let every living soul hear the voice of your gratitude this day.

Prayer for today: Oh God, I am grateful, thank you; have mercy on me and help me in Jesus name.

Something good is about to happen!

“But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.” Luke 1:13

Things that you have given up on, are about to happen in Jesus name. Zechariah had given up on childbearing because he was old and also his wife was old. But he was connected to the covenant. When you are connected to the covenant, you can expect the unexpected. About the time God was preparing for Jesus Christ to come, Zechariah was visited while he was in God’s duty post, and the Angel told him that what he thought would never happen would soon happen. His wife would be a mother. Joseph's miracle came when he thought it would never happen. Pharaoh had a dream that no one could interpret. Joseph was brought out of prison, he interpreted the dream and was promoted.

“Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved himself, and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh.” Genesis 41:14

“And he said, About this season, according to the time of life, thou shalt embrace a son. And she said, Nay, my lord, thou man of God, do not lie unto thine handmaid.” 2 Kings 4:16

The Shunamite woman is similar to the story of Zechariah's story. She had lost the expectation of having a child, however, she got herself connected to the covenant by providing for God’s prophet. Within a year she was carrying a son. Beloved, hear the word of the Lord; your prayers are answered, but stay in the covenant by obeying God no matter how inconvenient it may be.

Something good will soon happen to you in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let your goodness and mercy follow me in Jesus name.

You cannot go wrong .…

“And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense and myrrh.” Matthew 2:11.

You can never go wrong giving to God and His servants, whether by instruction or by personal decision. When you give, what you give may leave your hands, it has not left your life because it will come back as a harvest. Giving is part of spiritual worship and when done in faith, connects you to the supernatural. The wise men presented Jesus with gifts as an act of worship and faith.

“And she said unto her husband, Behold now, I perceive that this is an holy man of God, which passeth by us continually. Let us make a little chamber, I pray thee, on the wall; and let us set for him there a bed, and a table, and a stool, and a candlestick: and it shall be, when he cometh to us, that he shall turn in thither.” 2 Kings 4:9-10

“Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:7

You can be confident of God’s love if you are a cheerful giver. Let me ask you, have you ever given to your pastor this year? The man of God who teaches you the word of God and prays for you, what have you done for him in this season of celebration? What should be the excuse that could prevent you from experiencing the blessings that come with giving to God and his servants? The woman’s in our text decided to make the Man of God happy, as a result, God visited her.

Decide to be a blessing to your Pastor today at your present level.

Prayer for today: Oh God, make all grace abound toward me; that I, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work in Jesus name.

Just believe God

“For with God nothing shall be impossible.” Luke 1:37.

There is no impossibility with God. When God is involved in a man’s life, he will begin to experience things like a virgin conceiving, an old woman becoming pregnant. He will also experience situations like an ax head floating, Jericho walls coming down, and the red sea dividing. The limit is removed from a man who believes the God that does wonderful things.

“Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.” Mark 9:23

“And, behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season.” Luke 1:20

Zechariah wanted to shut down the plan of God for him and his wife through unbelief, so the Angel quickly closed his mouth for a season, he became dumb. Beloved, the fact that it looks impossible does not make it impossible. May people have truncated the plans of God for their lives by impossibility thinking and impossibility speaking. If God has said it, you only have to believe it in order to experience it. Believing it means declaring it. 2 Cor 4:13 says, “We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak.” Mary said to the Angel in Luke 1:38, “. Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.”

May you experience your breakthrough even if it looks impossible in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: The God that does wonders, manifest Yourself in my life today and everyday in Jesus name.

A breakthrough on December 27!

“And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, that Evilmerodach king of Babylon in the year that he began to reign did lift up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah out of prison;” 2 Kings 25:27

Jehoiachin had been in captivity for 37 years, but he received his breakthrough on the 27th December of a certain year. His head was lifted up and he was taken out of prison. The God of last hour miracle showed up for him and his testimony came before the end of that year. For someone reading this message, today is the manifestation of your long-expected breakthrough in Jesus name.

“The breaker is come up before them: they have broken up, and have passed through the gate, and are gone out by it: and their king shall pass before them, and the Lord on the head of them.” Micah 2:13

“Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.” Ezekiel 37:12

This day, you are coming out of every limitation, barrier, and spiritual imprisonment in Jesus name. If it has happened before, it can happen again. Now it is your turn. What should you do? Expect a breakthrough today and ask the God who did it for Jehoiachin on the 27th of December to do it for you in Jesus name.

It is your turn to experience last-hour deliverance and breakthrough in the name of Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, change my story today the same way you did for Jehoiachin in Jesus name.

Joy in the manger!

“And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.16 And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.” Luke 2:15-16

The manger is a smelly, dirty, unattractive place, but the birth of Jesus brought joy to the manger. Angels visited the manger because the baby Jesus was there. The Shepherd heard and saw what was never before because Jesus was born in their manger. If Jesus is in your life, your manger-life story will soon change. Joy shall be found in your life. Angels shall visit your life. You will soon experience the testimony and breakthrough you never experienced before.

“Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. …..  And there was great joy in that city.” Acts 8:5-8

“And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.” Mark 5:15

Where Jesus is invited and permitted, satan and his demons are hindered and totally defeated. When Jesus is in charge, evil cannot be displayed. I don’t know what your situation is currently and what people are saying about you, but what I know is this, if you give room to Jesus, He will bring joy to your manger.

Let the challenging situation turn to joy in the name of Jesus name.

Merry Christmas

Prayer for today: Oh God, give unto me beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness in Jesus name.

Prophecy fulfilled!

“Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.” Isaiah 7:14

Christ is born, of a virgin, in Bethlehem; Prophecy fulfilled. Naturally, a woman cannot be pregnant unless a seed of the man is involved. But it was prophesied that Jesus would be born of a virgin, so it came to pass. Bethlehem was a small town and was not expected to be a birthplace of a king. However, it was prophesied and it came to pass. As we celebrate the birth of Christ today, I decree that every good prophecy you have received shall come to pass in Jesus name.

“But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.” Micah 5:2

“And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.” Luke 1:38

Prophecy is not really about you, but about the plan of God. So the difficulty of your situation or your preconceived inadequacies cannot stop it. Prophecy is beyond human calculations and intellectual capability, so it will come to pass whether your mental capacity agrees with it or not. If you doubt it in your head, please don’t doubt it in your heart. This is because what God has spoken about you shall come to pass.

I decree that you shall enter your divine inheritance and fulfilment the name of Jesus name.

Merry Christmas

Prayer for today: I pray all the positive prophecies that I have receive into manifestations in Jesus name.

A temporary alternative

“And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.” Luke 2:7

You may have to accept a temporary alternative for a while on your way to destiny fulfilment. As long as there is life, there is hope (Job 14:7). The only available alternative was for Jesus to be laid in a manger. There was no room in the inn. Not that they could not afford an inn but there was no room for them. Jesus did not stay long in the manger because the wise men met them in a house (Matthew 2:11).  It does not matter to start small, it is more important not to end small. If the job you are qualified for is not available, accept what is available and work yourself to the top. Don’t be afraid to start the business with what you have. If you are waiting for the condition to be perfect you may not start anything (Ecc 11:4).

“For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the Lord, which run to and fro through the whole earth.” Mark 6:3

“Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.” Job 8:7

Most times, what you have in your hand is enough, but if you neglect it, you may waste your years. As we celebrate the birth of Jesus, do not forget that His first abode was a manger despite the fact that He was the king of kings. He started in a manger but He did not stay there. Never stay idle, do something with your time and grow out of smallness.

May you get to your destination in the name of Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God give me a testimony of hope in this season in Jesus name.

Supernatural Secret

“Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?  And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.” Luke 1:34-35

The secret of the supernatural life and manifestations is the Holy Spirit.  When He comes upon you, the power of God will overshadow you to obtain supernatural results and to do what only God can do. The Angel told Mary that what God wanted to do in her life is supernatural and the Holy Spirit would make it happen through her. As a Christian, you should not be satisfied with ordinary life, you should go for the supernatural through the power of the Holy Spirit.

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” Acts 10:38

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Acts 1:8

The bible speaks about the gifts of the Spirit, the fruit of the Spirit, the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation, and the Spirit of faith. These are supernatural manifestations of the Holy Spirit in the lives of believers. This is what you need to beat the adversaries and the challenges of life. This is the secret of becoming a true witness of Jesus. This is the secret of supernatural testimonies.

May you have a personal relationship with the Holy Spirit in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, anoint me with the Holy Spirit and power in Jesus name.

Nothing is impossible

“Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?  And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.” Luke 1:34-35

Nothing is impossible. It only looks impossible if you don’t know what to do. You will discover that what you thought was impossible is actually possible if you find out what you must do. Mary said to the Angel, “How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?” The Angel revealed to her how what she thought was impossible would be made possible. Yours is possible. Don’t give up on yourself, but find out what you must do.

“And the Lord said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward: But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.” Exodus 14:15-16

“And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so.” 2 King 2:10

Any situation you find yourself in is not really hard or impossible as you may think. But, it is giving you an assignment: go and find out what you need to do. Can you imagine? Moses had only to stretch out his rod for the people of Israel to walk through the red sea! Elisha only had to see Elijah to receive a double portion!! May you know what to do to receive your breakthrough in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, teach me to profit and lead me to obtain the impossible in Jesus name.

God still visit His people

“And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. For with God nothing shall be impossible.” Luke 1:36-37

One of the greatest lessons surrounding the birth of Jesus is that God still visits His people today. And when He does, the impossible becomes possible. He visited a virgin and she became pregnant with the Messiah. He visited an old barren woman who had passed the age of childbearing, and her long-time prayer was answered. I decree that He will visit you too, and answer all your prayers in Jesus name.

“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebrews 11:6

“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.” Revelation 4:11

God's visitation is based on His established purpose, the faith of His people, and His unfailing covenant with His people. If you align yourself with any or all of these, you will definitely be visited. God’s visitation is the answer to all situation that looks impossible. I decree that what you and others have considered impossible in your life shall be done by God this season in Jesus name. Make a demand for God’s visitation in prayers today and align yourself with His plan and purpose for your life.

This is your season of celebration and rejoicing in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, visit me personally in this season in Jesus name.

Someone has the answer

“And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.” Acts 9:6

When Saul asked the right question, I thought the Lord was going to give him all the answers. However, the Lord told him to go into the city where someone will tell him the answer to his question. The Lord then went to Ananias and gave him the answers Saul needed desperately. Why didn’t the Lord give him all the answers? Because the answer you are looking for is with another man. A man who God has put what you need in his mouth or in his hands. When you ask the right question in prayer, He will lead you to the right person.

“And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth, And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.” Acts 9:11-12

“And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.” Jeremiah 3:15

Yes, a man has the answer you need. But do you need to be looking for the man? NO. You only have to seek the Lord and He will lead you to the man He has prepared for you. The man may not look like it, but if He is the sent man, he has what you need. The widow of Zarephath was not rich, but she has what Elijah needed. The Jordan River had what Namaan needed.

May the Lord lead you to the man who has your answers in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, lead me to the man you have prepared to give me what I need in Jesus name.

The question Saul asked?

“And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.” Acts 9:6

Saul was religious, but that was not enough. Paul was zealous, but that was not enough. He was doing what he thought was right, but he was dealing in ignorance. The greatest enemy of a man is ignorance. Ignorance of who you are and what God has designed you to be. At the place of encounter, Paul asked the great question whose answer would wipe his ignorance and change his life forever, “What do you want me to do Lord?”

“Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.” 1 Timothy 1:13

“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:32

If you desire a remarkable change in your life, you must sincerely ask the Lord this question and find an answer for your destiny. I don’t know how old you are, but true living cannot begin until you have an answer to this question. Stop fighting as someone that beats the air. Stop gambling with your destiny. It can definitely be better than this, if you ask the right question and find the answer.

May all forms of ignorance be terminated in your life in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, reveal to me what you want me to do in Jesus name.

Your light has come!

“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.” Isaiah 60:1

God’s light is His word. Your access to the light of God gives you access to His glory. When you receive, believe and act on God’s word, you will display His glory. It is of utmost importance for you to know what God is saying to you at all times. Your shining in this dark world depends on it. Your turning point in any situation is access to God’s light. I decree that your light has come, therefore, you are arising and you are shining in Jesus name.

“In him was life; and the life was the light of men.  And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” John 1:4-5

“There is a man in thy kingdom, in whom is the spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of thy father light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, was found in him; whom the king Nebuchadnezzar thy father, the king, I say, thy father, made master of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers;” Daniel 5:11

Light like the wisdom of the gods, was found in Daniel. That explained why he shined in His days. Jesus is the light and He lives in you. This means as a child of God, you cannot be swallowed by the darkness of this world because the light of God lives on the inside of you. Now it is important for you to yield to the light and let it shine through you. This only comes from fellowship with Jesus and a life of total obedience to Him

I see the light of God shining through you in this dark world in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God take me above every challenge of life through Your light in Jesus name.

Put this call through

“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” Jeremiah 33:3

You probably need many miracles right now and you don’t know how to handle them in prayers. Your determination to pray is a sign of your trust in the Lord. The written word and the Holy Spirit will guide you to pray correctly. However, you need to know that a single visit by the Lord can give you the multiple miracles you need. God said, you should call unto Him and He will answer. Put a call through to Him to visit you for an encounter that will change your story forever.

“And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.” Psalm 50:15

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,” Ephesians 3:20

This is a single call that can give you multiple testimonies. This is a single call that can deliver all the answers. A definite encounter with the Lord in response to your call may be your greatest need right now. When He visited Israel in Egypt, Israel experienced multiple miracles. I decree that within the remaining days of this year, the Lord shall visit you and give you multiple miracles in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, visit me by fire and let my story change in Jesus name.

Season changer

“Now yield and submit yourself to Him [agree with God and be conformed to His will] and be at peace; In this way [you will prosper and great] good will come to you.” Job 22:21(AMP)

You surely desire a change of season, all you need is to acquaint yourself with the season changer and be at peace. God is the season changer, He changes times and seasons. If you yield and submit to Him, and you quit worrying, He will change the season in your favor. Good will come to you: children will come to you, your own spouse will come to you, health will come to you, wealth will come to you. Whatever you consider good will come to you.

“And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:” Daniel 2:21KJV

“And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:” Ruth 1:16 KJV

Ruth story is a beautiful example. Her husband had died and her mother-in-law was going to leave her to return to the living God. Ruth chose to go with her. Her season changed. She did not only marry the richest man in the land, but she also became the great, great grandmother of Jesus Christ. I see your season changing as you yield totally unto God.

Prayer for today: Oh God, the season changer, change the season to my favor in Jesus name.

Faith expressed!

“And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.  And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.” Matthew 14:28-29

Can you look to the water and see a road just because the Lord says so? Can you look straight into scarcity and see abundance just because the Lord says so? Can you look at failure and see success because God has said so? Can you look at giants and see drafts because God said so? Faith is a sight.  It sees miracles because God has spoken. If you believe it, you will declare it. If you believe it, you will act on it.  This is what you need to turn things around. It is expressed based on what God said.

“And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.” Numbers 13:30

“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:19

If you want to see differently, you will have to turn to God and His word. To see differently is to see correctly. Seeing correctly precedes speaking and acting correctly, and this is how the winning faith that brings a miracle is expressed. May you begin to see the challenging situation differently in Jesus name.

Beloved, there is a way out for you because God is at work for you.

Prayer for today: Oh God, take control and work it out for me in Jesus name.

Worried? No…..

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank him for his answers.” Philippians 4:6 (NLT)

Praying is part of the winning equation. Telling God what you need is part of the winning equation. Thanking God for His answer is part of the winning equation. Worrying on the other hand is not part of the winning equation. Worrying is a natural response to a difficult or impossible situation. Worrying is a negative expectation, an expectation that the situation may go beyond control. Worrying is easy, but it does not bring the solution. Worrying is the gate for further attack.

“And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?” Mark 4:38

“Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.” Psalms 55:22

No matter be the case, always remember that God cares and He will carry your burden. When situations are beyond you, your knowledge of God and the assurance of His care is what can silence the voice of worry. I have a word for you, you shall not be put to shame, for God shall help you. Stop worrying, but start praying and thanking God.

You are coming out victoriously in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I quit worrying and I accept divine help and solution in Jesus name.

Against all odds

“So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him; but there was no sword in the hand of David.” 1 Samuel 17:50

Against all odds, believe God. The winning side is the believing side. You may not look like winning, but it is not in your look. Your situation may not look like it, but it does not matter because situations are subject to change. People’s words may also be contrary, don’t worry about that also because they will soon change their mind. If you don’t doubt God, you will surely win against all odds. David killed Goliath with a stone and a sling against all odds because he believed God.

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Jeremiah 29:11

“Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.” Acts 27:25

God is saying to you that you will have your expected end against all odds. This means for someone you will be debt-free and have abundance against all odds. For another, you will be married and have your own children against all odds. For others, you will become healthy and sickness-free against all odds. In any case, you will have your expected end against all odds, if you believe God. Paul said I believe God that it shall be as it was told me against all odds.

Your story is changing against all odds in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: O God, I believe and I receive my expectations against all odds in Jesus name.

The power of one prayer point per time

“And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.  And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.” Luke 18:3-5

Can you identify your most important prayer request at this time? Pray it until you have an answer. Pray it day and night. Pray it in every service. Don’t take another prayer point until you have an answer. You will surely have an answer. The Bible has many examples of people who focused on one prayer point per time and were not denied. One of them was the persistent widow in our text whose petition was directed to even an unjust judge. Her request was, “Avenge me of my adversary.” She got an answer. Jesus called her action, faith.

“And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me. And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou son of David, have mercy on me.” Mark 10:47-48

“And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkened to her, and opened her womb.  And she conceived, and bare a son; and said, God hath taken away my reproach:” Genesis 30:22-23

Bartimaeus’ prayer point was just one, “Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.” He didn’t change the prayer point until Jesus responded to him. Rachael’s request was “Give me a man child or I die.” God hearkened to her. Hannah’s request was also only one, “Give me a man child, then I will give him back to you.”  She got six children. Jacob prayed one prayer point for hours, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.” He received the blessings.

This is your season of answered prayer in Jesus name. Now get into the business of praying, one prayer point per time.

Prayer for today: O God, visit me by fire and let my story change in Jesus name.

Miracle-thinking

“And he took his staff in his hand, and chose him five smooth stones out of the brook, and put them in a shepherd's bag which he had, even in a scrip; and his sling was in his hand: and he drew near to the Philistine.” 1 Samuel 17:40

Some levels of abnormal thinking may be needed to experience a miracle. I call it miracle thinking. How do you explain the fact that David went against Goliath with five stones and a sling?  He believed he could slay a giant with a seemingly useless instrument! That thinking was abnormal, but that was what brought him out of obscurity into the limelight.  It was the miracle thinking that brought his breakthrough.

“But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.” Exodus 14:16

“One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, saith unto him, There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?” John 6:8-9

What I have called miracle thinking is what others called possibility thinking. When you begin to think that you can divide the red sea with a rod in your hand. When your thinking pattern says you can feed more than five thousand people with two loaves and five fish. Then you are ready for a miracle. This kind of thinking only comes when you walk with God or you keep company with people who believe God. It is called God-kind of faith.

May your thinking be aligned with your desired miracle in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: O God, let my heart be filled with your kind of thought for me to experience a miracle in my life in Jesus name.

What do you expect?

“And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.”  Mark 10:51

It is important for you to define clearly your expectation. Your expectation gives your energy direction. Your expectation gives your prayer direction. Expectation precedes manifestation. Never limit your expectation if you believe God. Expect the impossible to become possible. Expect hard things to be done without stress. Expect to receive from God what will change your life forever.

“And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.” Acts 3:5-6

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us” Ephesians 3:20

When you expect something and go in the direction of God, you will always get more than what you expect. When you align your expectation with His will for your life, you provoke the release of His power. Bartimaeus wanted his sight back, he put his whole energy to get Jesus’ attention. Zacchaeus only wanted to see Jesus, he climbed a tree to see Jesus, but Jesus went home with him. The lame man at the beautiful gate got more than silver and gold, he got a miracle that would ensure he never had to beg again. May God exceed your expectation in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God arise and meet me at the point of my needs in Jesus name.

Your help has come!

“I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:1-2

Are you in a position that if you don’t receive help, shame is inevitable? I have a word from the Lord for you: You shall not be put to shame, your help has come. Look up, your much-needed help is here in Jesus name. You may not see rain, you may not see the wind, but there will be divine provision. The enemy shall not overcome you. The battle shall not overcome you. The Lord shall fight for you and you shall hold your peace. God will make a way for you where there is no way. What has been withheld from you shall be released to you. This situation shall turn into a testimony for you in Jesus name.

“And they said unto the messengers that came, Thus shall ye say unto the men of Jabeshgilead, To morrow, by that time the sun be hot, ye shall have help. And the messengers came and shewed it to the men of Jabesh; and they were glad.”  1 Samuel 11:9

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:10

In 1 Samuel 11, Nahash came against the people of Jabesh Gilead. He knew he was stronger than them. The people were willing to serve him but he decided he was going to put them to shame. He wanted to make the whole city one-eyed people by removing their right eyes. The people were going to agree if they could not get help. But, Saul anointed of the Lord sent a message to them that help was coming and they were helped. Now listen to this, you are going to stop worrying right now and receive this prophetic word. You are going to worship God and thank him because your help has come. You are going to declare that you receive the needed help in the name of Jesus.

Prayer for today: Oh God, I receive help right now for this situation in the name of Jesus.

It’s a goliath, but you are anointed…

“Then said David to the Philistine (Goliath), … This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.” 1 Samuel 17:45-46 (emphasis mine)

It is a Goliath. That debt is a Goliath. That sickness is a Goliath. That relationship problem is a Goliath. The issue with that child is a Goliath. That financial issue is a Goliath. Whatever challenge you are facing right now is a Goliath. But I am glad to announce to you that you are anointed to speak to bring it down.

“Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.” 1 Samuel 16:13

“We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;” 2 Corinthians 4:13

The only reason why it took forty days to bring Goliath down was that there was no anointed man on the field of battle. Saul was an ex-anointed. David, the anointed came in; he told Goliath what would happen to him and went on to kill him with a sling and a stone. If you believe you are anointed and you speak against your Goliath, you will have the victory, the physical weapon you have notwithstanding.

Your Goliath is defeated today in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Whatever represents a Goliath in my life, be defeated in Jesus name.

Two important Ministers 7

“And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed: And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.” Isiah 29:11-12

The Holy Spirit grants you access into the scriptures. You need Him whether you are learned or not. The written word contains all that your life needs. Your intellectual capability is limited to the letters. But the letter kills only the Spirit of the Word gives life. The ministry of the Holy Spirit makes the Word work in your life.

“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” John 6:63

“Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.” 2 Corinthians 3:6

The Word must not be a parable to you if you want to experience His power to change you and your situation.  Let the Holy Spirit teach you and give you the mystery of the kingdom. The Holy Spirit generates the Spirit of faith in our lives through the Word.

May you have the revelation of the Word through the power of the Holy Spirit in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Holy Spirit, teach me the Word in my life in Jesus name.

Two important Ministers 6

“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” John 14:26

The Holy Spirit speaks. He teaches, guides, instructs, and leads. If you hear His voice in any situation, you gain access to the wisdom of God. Nothing can beat that in this whole world. He also comforts and helps.  He is the best comforter and helper available to all believers. You must recognize Him as a person and esteem a time of personal fellowship with Him.

“Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.” John 14:17

“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.” John 16:13-14

The Holy Spirit is the believers’ advantage over the rest of the world. He is the source of the wisdom and power to beat any situation in this life. He glorifies Jesus in our lives. And enable us to walk in the supernatural. He makes His dwelling within us. If you know Him and His voice, you become a winner at all times.

May you be conscious of the Holy Spirit within you and His anointing upon you in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I ask for the fullness of the Holy Spirit in my life in Jesus name.

Two important Ministers 5

“He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes; Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.” Psalm 105:14-15

The only answer to spiritual attacks is the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Your head must not lack His oil at this end time. Jesus had the anointing of the Holy Spirit in His physical walk on earth. This was His source of power to destroy the work of darkness and bring deliverance to the people. The anointing is both your security and power in this wicked world. You cannot do without this important ministry of the Holy Spirit.

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” Acts 10:38

“I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him: With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him. The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him.” Psalm 89:20-22

The anointing is your strongest defense against any form of wickedness. Every Christian must be anointed.  You must thirst and hunger after the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Your Christian life cannot be fruitful and effective without the anointing. Please spend time with God until you are anointed.

May you be anointed with the Holy Ghost in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, anoint me with the Holy Ghost and power in Jesus name.

Two important Ministers 4

“My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.” Daniel 6:22

No time has been perilous as the present time in which we are. We are surrounded by men like lions, and lions like men. In some countries today, kidnapping and ritual killings are the order of the day. Human trafficking and organ trading are growing. Also, in some places, Christians are physically attacked and assaulted. We are like sheep among wolves. In such a time like this, the ministries of Angels and the Holy Spirit cannot be overemphasized.

“For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve, Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.” Acts 27:23-24

“For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.” Psalm 91:11

Angels can shut the mouth of the lions that are against you. They can give you encouraging messages and minister to you. They can appear to you either as men or spirit beings. You can be conscious of their presence around you. All you need to enjoy their ministries is to stay in the covenant and in fellowship with God.

May you be kept safe in this wicked world by the Angelic presence in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, send your Angels to shut the mouth of lions that are against me in Jesus name.

Two important Ministers 3

“But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.” Matthew 1:20

In the New Testament, we also see the activities of Angels. The angel of the Lord ministered to Joseph in the dream before and after the birth of Jesus. We read about how the Angel of the Lord delivered Peter from chains and prison, and eventually killed Herod. We read about the appearance of Angels to the shepherds, also about Angel Gabriel appearing to Mary and Zechariah.

“And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.” Acts 12:7

“But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.” Luke 1:13

I believe strongly that the Angel of the Lord specifically works in the life of believers in Christ and complements the work of the Holy Spirit. I believe also that many of our physical deliverance from the hands of enemies is accomplished by the Angel of the Lord. This is in response to the prayers of the saints and His purpose for individual Children of God. We cannot live in fear of any kind because we have the Angel of the Lord presence with us.

May you experience deliverance from every physical and spiritual attack in Jesus name

Prayer for today: I activate the work of the Angel of the Lord in my life and destiny in Jesus name.

Two important Ministers 2

“Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.” Psal

Let us briefly look at the ministry of Angels in the Old Testament. There are many appearances of Angels in the old testament starting from Genesis when God placed the Cherubim in the garden to protect it. Angels excel in strength. Whenever there are physical actions that need to be taken that are beyond men’s strength, God always dispatches His Angels. They are on assignment for God’s purpose, they do His commandments. If you align yourself with God’s purpose, you will enjoy this important ministry.

“But the men put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door. And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door.” Genesis 19:10-11

“And as he lay and slept under a juniper tree, behold, then an angel touched him, and said unto him, Arise and eat.” 1 Kings 19:5

Angels appeared as men to Lot in Sodom and Gomorrah. He took them in, but at night the men of the city wanted to sleep with them. When they failed to listen to Lot’s plea, the Angels pull Lot into the house and smote the men with blindness. Angels fed Elijah when he was tired and discouraged. An Angel of the Lord killed 185000 Assyrians in one night (2Kings 19:35).

May you experience Angelic help every day that remains this year in Jesus name

Prayer for today: Oh God, send men like the Angels to minister to me in Jesus name.
