Nothing is final except…

“While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:18

Nothing is final except the Word of God. If it can be perceived by the five physical senses, then it’s not permanent. Not having enough money is subject to change. Incurable diseases are subject to change. Jesus said the mountains are subject to change. Fig trees are subject to change. Dead bodies are subject to change. You can see it throughout the Bible. When you get a revelation of that, it will change your life forever.

“But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.” 1 Peter 1:25

“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” Mark 11:23

The truth is that everything, including situations, has the capacity to hear the word of God and obey. Never accept any situation you do not want in your life as final. You already know from this message that the situation is subject to change. When you go through issues, don’t forget to find the word of God and declare the word over the issues. Don’t stop until you see your desired change.

The power of God shall change your situation for good in Jesus name.

What are you expecting?

 “And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.” Acts 3:5

As the month of February ends today, I have a question for you, what are you expecting? You will always get what you are expecting from God. Although He is able to do more than our expectations, we still need to expect something from Him; and express it to Him in words. Expect that God will always show up in your matter and don’t limit Him. There are two major factors that indicate our expectations: our thought and our asking.

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,” Ephesians 3:20

“Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.” Psalms 2:8

What are you thinking concerning yourself and your situation? Don’t be afraid to think big, because if you think big, God will do big. What are you going to ask the Lord as this month comes to an end? I believe we must ask God everything. God will always do beyond our asking and imagination, but we must ask and imagine Him doing great things in our lives. Stop imagining that things will go wrong, stop declaring what you don’t expect. Learn to think big and to ask big.

I ask God to grant your requests in Jesus name.

Your heavenly account

 “But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” Mathew 6:20-21

In our world of uncertainties, your certainty is your heavenly bank account. Anything can happen to the earthly bank account, but the heavenly bank account is secured. Your heavenly bank account guarantees your future in the midst of uncertainties. What you do particularly in the area of giving is credited to your heavenly account. This is your basis for receiving a harvest, particularly in a time of need.

“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” Galatians 6:7

“For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity. Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account……… But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:16-19

Your tithe is both your security against the devourers and an expression of your faith in God as your source. Your other giving to the work of God is your seed for your future harvest. These are credited into your heavenly bank account from where you can confidently make a withdrawal at the time of need. The famous Philippians 4:19 is actually for Christians whose fruits abound to their accounts through giving.

May you be financially secure in this uncertain world in Jesus name.

You are in God’s mind

 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Jeremiah 29:11

God has a thought towards you, you are in His mind. Can you imagine the President of your Country calling you and telling you that he is thinking about you? I am sure you will be confident that your life will be turned around for good. How much more the God of heaven and earth, who has power over all things, temporal and eternal. I don’t know what you are going through right now, but I am excited to inform you that you are in God’s mind. He will help you and give you an expected end.

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:10

“Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.” Isaiah 49:15-16

Stop worrying, you cannot be forgotten. Don’t be afraid, He has graven you upon the palms of His hands. However, declare your expected end because He is committed to making it happen. Stop complaining, but start praising Him, He is committed to His word.

Your case is different

 “Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.” Mathew 7:24-25

Everything about the world is the Word. All things are shakable and changeable, only the word of God abides forever. Your positive response to the word makes your case to be different at all times. The storms of life cannot overcome you neither can your adversaries subdue you because your case is different. Your case is different if you are a hearer of the word of God, the believer of the word, and the doer of the word. The word of God is the wisdom of God to beat all challenges of life.

“And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.” Hebrews 12:27

Beloved, this is the word from the Lord to you, what you are going through is subject to change. Your financial trouble is over in Jesus name because your case is different. Your case is different if you can continually declare the word of God you have believed over the situation and do whatever God tells you.

Divine sense

 “But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.” James 3:17

The Bible spoke about four kinds of senses or wisdom. These are common sense, intellectual sense, demonic sense, and divine sense. Common sense will solve common problems, actually, most problems that people get themselves into today can be solved if they engage simple common sense. The intellectual sense will solve intellectual problems, unfortunately, it is possible to have intellectual sense and still fail in common sense. Demonic sense may give you temporary succor, but it will not only lead you to eternal damnation, it will also put your lineage in perpetual bondage. Every man needs the divine sense because of a lot of uncertainties in the world today.

“This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.” James 3:15

“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,.” Ephesians 1:17-18

Divine sense comes through the spirit of wisdom and revelation that is given by the Holy Spirit. When you have this, your heart of understanding will be enlightened and you will know what to do at any point in time. Jesus always knew what he would do, Paul also knew what he would do and Christians who have divine senses always know what to do. You too should always know what to do through divine sense. How do you get this? Ask God to give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation, also ask Him to grant you access to the mystery of His word.

Spiritual experience

 “That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” John 3:6

Every biblical Christian has had a spiritual experience called second birth, born of the Spirit or being born again. This is a spirit-controlled life that empowers a man to relate with God here on earth and in eternity. Now every Christian must grow in spiritual experience through fellowship with God and obedience to him. Spiritual authority is a product of spiritual experience. As Christians, we must have spiritual experience continually in order to have the spiritual authority to deal with issues on earth.

“Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” John 1:13

“… that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God. In the fifth day of the month, which was the fifth year of king Jehoiachin's captivity, The word of the Lord came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the Lord was there upon him.” Ezekiel 1:1-3

Ezekiel had four distinct spiritual experiences which I believe every Christian must experience regularly. The heavens were opened. This was similar to what happened when Jesus was baptized by John in Jordan. It means direct access to God and His kingdom. He saws visions of God. This is access to divine programs. The word of the Lord came to him expressly. This is access to God’s mystery to be as God on earth (John 10:35). The hand of the Lord was upon him. This is the capacity for God to do and execute assignments through him.

May you have the spiritual experience that will position you for the authority of God on earth in Jesus name.

The life of faith 7

 “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.” James 2:17

A life of faith is revealed by action. Faith is simply acting on what you believe. Now every man do that all the time. However, the life of faith I am talking about is the life that is lived by acting on the word of God. This is what provoked supernatural results. This kind of life primarily hunger for the word of God and run with the Word without looking back. The promises and the instructions of God are esteemed above feelings, personal considerations, and negative thoughts.

“Don’t you remember that even our father Abraham was declared good because of what he did when he was willing to obey God, even if it meant offering his son Isaac to die on the altar? You see, he was trusting God so much that he was willing to do whatever God told him to; his faith was made complete by what he did—by his actions, his good deeds.” James 2:21-22 (LB)

“And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.” Matthew 14:28-29

You surely want to live above sickness, poverty, debt, and defeat, the most assured way to do this is to hear what God has to say and do it. This way of life will be the best way to live in this endtime. Gloria Copeland said,” Hearing from heaven is the most important thing in your entire life, because man has never faced a problem big enough to stump God. God always has an answer. He always has a way to bring you out of any trial victoriously, no matter how serious it is." The life of faith the key way to ride on the challenges of life.

The life of faith 6

 “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” Mark 11:24

A life of faith is lived by praying to receive. Prayer is a significant part of a life of faith. This prayer is offered in confidence because the will of God is known. The word of God is the will of God. A man of faith prays always. A man of faith is persistent in prayer because he is sure of the answer. A life of faith is lived by asking in prayer without doubting.

“And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;” Luke 18:1

“But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.” James 1:6

 A life of faith does not permit worry in any form. This is because he believes he can receive answers and divine intervention when he prays. A life of faith is lived by confessing the answer after praying. This is because you will always receive when you believe.

May you live a lifestyle of prayer in Jesus name.

The life of faith 5

 “We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;” 2 Corinthians 4:13

A life of faith is lived by speaking what you believe. Faith is released by speaking God’s word. People actually live in defeat because they believe their doubt and always express it by speaking. To live a life of faith you must learn to keep quiet if the word you want to speak does not agree with the word of God. This is because what you say will come to pass the same way God spoke and it came to pass.

“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” Mark 11:23

“Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” Hebrews 11:3

All things are subject to change if you can speak the word of God to them. You can call those things that are not as though they were through the word of faith. If the word is in your heart and in your mouth, you experience its power. This is the way of victory. The change you desire in every area of your life can be secured through the word of faith.

The life of faith 4

 “(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)” 2 Corinthians 5:7

A life of faith is lived by believing the word of God. This does not depend on your feeling, what you can see, or the situation around you. The situation around you may be contrary, but because God has spoken and you believe, you are no longer afraid. You are now confident that the situation will turn around for your good. The life of faith is, “Believing is Seeing.” You believe and then you see what you believed. Can you believe what you cannot see? Yes, you can!! We do so all the time, although most times negatively. Faith does so positively. Faith believes in a positive situation, it cannot see.

“Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.” Acts 27:25

“(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.” Romans 4:17-18

Paul and others were in a voyage attacked by a deadly storm. They all could not eat for fourteen days and all hope that they would come out alive was gone. Then Paul heard God that they would all survive the storm. He believed God's word and started eating, encouraging others to do so. Abraham became the father of faith because he believed God for a child even at old age.

May you believe God every day of your life in Jesus name.

The life of faith 3

 “Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.” 1 Timothy 4:15

A life of faith is built on the word of God. The bible is the written word of God. It is God’s law. It is God talking to you. You must meditate on God’s word for you to build your faith. Casual reading or reading just for the sake of telling yourself that you have fulfilled your church’s teaching of reading the Bible daily does not work. You must study the Bible, prayerfully ponder on the written word for the word to be part of you to build your faith.

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua 1:8

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” 2 Timothy 3:16

If you gain an understanding of the word through meditation, it becomes easy for you to say it and do it. Schedule a time daily for the word. If your faith is being challenged in any area of your life, find all the scriptures about the area and meditate on them. Once you build your faith, you have the power to overcome.

May you give attention to the word daily in your life in Jesus name.

The life of faith 2

 “And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.” Mark 4:20

A life of faith cannot be lived without the word of God being rooted in your heart. This is because faith is actually speaking or acting on the word of God, and you cannot do this unless the word of God is in your heart. Devil will do everything to stop you from putting the word in your heart. He will even try to steal it from your heart. He will not stop you from any activity, but studying the word or listening to the word. Please don’t allow him. You must have the word in your heart to live the victorious life that only faith can give.

“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” Proverbs 4:23

“For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:10

Beloved, the life of faith is a must for all saints that want to live in victory. The word of God in your heart is key to this life. When you attend any service be hungry for the word. Spend time daily in the word asking God to speak to you. Deal firmly with anything that wants to distract you from the word. You must give God’s word first place in your life.

May you receive God’s word daily in your life in Jesus name.

The life of faith 1

 “But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” Matthew 4:4

The life of faith begins with the word of God. Can you observe the similarity between today’s text and the text I shared yesterday? Today’s text says that man shall live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God while yesterday’s text says the just shall live by faith. In order words, the life of the just is a life of faith that depends on the word of God he feeds on. Beloved, the word of God you have received and believed is your key to living by faith.

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17

“But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;” Romans 10:8

Labor to fill your heart with the word. This is what separates strong Christians from weak ones. You can only say or speak what is in your heart. You can only live or express what is in your heart. Whatever is in your heart is the faith that determines your fate in life. It is high time you took God’s word seriously if you desire the life of faith.

The necessity of faith

 “For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.” Romans 1:17

True living is faith living. No one can make it without faith. If you want to live successfully, you have to understand faith, know how you can have faith, and consciously acquire faith. The measure of God you can enjoy is determined by your level of faith. Fortunately, every believer has a level of faith but you can grow your faith. If you cannot handle your life right now, it means the strength of your faith is lower than the strength of your challenges. If you make the effort to grow your faith, you will soon testify of your victory over the challenge.

“For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.” Romans 12:7

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” 1 John 5:4

Faith is the wisdom and the power of God to beat life challenges. It is the key to victorious living any time, any season, in any situation. Have you heard people saying, “Do you have this money? I am not talking by faith but in reality” This kind of statement makes you think that faith is not a reality. This is the deceit of the enemy because the just can only live by faith. Invest in your faith life to dominate the situation that wants to prevail against you.

The greatest of these is love

 “There are three things that remain—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13 (NIV)

There are three factors that sustain any destiny, they are hope, faith, and love. Faith gives substance to hope, so hope cannot produce results without faith (Heb 11:1). Hope cannot disappoint when the love of God is in our hearts (Roman 5:5). Faith itself is made to work through love (Gal 5:6), so love is the greatest.  However, this kind of love is not sexually driven, neither is it friendship driven, it is unconditional love. It is agape, God's kind of love. It is not merited, but it is received. It can only be expressed and shared if has been received.

“For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.” Galatians 5:6

“And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.” Ephesians 3:19

The characteristics of this love are revealed in 1 Corinthians 13. It passes knowledge, but it grants access to the fullness of God. God is this love. This is what the world needs. The source of this kind of love is the Holy Spirit Himself (Rom 5:5). We must pray for it as Paul did in Ephesians 3. We must receive this love and walk in it.

May you have the revelation of God’s kind of love in Jesus name.

Hearing ears and an obedient heart

 “For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.” Matthew 13:15

God has a word for you that will change your life forever. You must hear the word and act in obedience to the word for you to experience this supernatural change and breakthrough. Christians suffer when they don’t hear Him or when they don’t obey Him for any reason. This is why one of your greatest prayers should be that God should give you hearing ears and an obedient heart.

“And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes……..” Luke 12:47-48

“And the Lord appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of:…… And Isaac dwelt in Gerar:” Genesis 26: 2-6

Don’t go to church just to dance. Dancing is good, but your miracle is in hearing God. You are in church, but your phone is opened for what you termed an important call. So when God is speaking, your ear is dull to Him. As a result, you prolong your affliction and delay your breakthrough. Some have made up their minds on some issues of life so they don’t want to hear God on the matter. Beloved stop hurting yourself, your breakthrough cannot be hindered if you hear God and obey Him.

Reach out your hand and take it!

 ““Lift it out,” he said. Then the man reached out his hand and took it.” 2Kings 6:7(NIV)

Beloved, you have a part in your miracle, you must reach out and take the miracle God has given you. If God has given you a vision, get into the work and do it. The servant of Elisha borrowed an axe head to help with the cutting of trees for the enlargement of their place of worship. As he was cutting the tree, the axe head fell into the river. He cried out to the man of God for help. The Man of God made the axe head float by throwing a stick inside the water. But the servant needed to reach out his hand and take the floated axe head.

“Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision: But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.” Acts 26:19-20

“……. that David hastened, and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine.” 1 Samuel 17: 48b

Beloved, don’t fold your hands, reach out and take what belongs to you. Set goals, design strategies, execute your strategies, and make things happen. Your prayers are answered already, so you have a miracle. Start that business, knock on that door, write that application, contact that potential funder, start that ministry, revisit that failed project, read that book, listen to that lesson, write that book, develop that product, launch that product, take that calculated risk.

May you take the miracle God has given you in Jesus name.

True prosperity

 “And his master saw that the Lord was with him, and that the Lord made all that he did to prosper in his hand.” Genesis 39:3

God delights in your prosperity. True prosperity is complete and total. It is all-around prosperity. It affects every area of your life and gives you success. This kind of prosperity is brought about by the presence of the Lord in your life. It gives you an aura of God, which conditions your environment positively towards you. It affects everything within and without you. This is an utmost desire of everyone, but it only responds to those who will hold the Lord’s presence in high esteem and seek Him with their whole heart.

“The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.” Psalms 34:10

“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29: 13

True prosperity is actually a reward. A reward to those who seek and find God. You don’t really need to seek it, but you need to seek God with all your heart. True prosperity is the answer to all challenges. Maybe you are currently facing one challenge or the other, please don’t give up on seeking God. True prosperity is coming.

Be desperate for His presence

 “And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.” Exodus 33:14

 Your past becomes easier to deal with when you have His presence. Also, you will have the boldness to take the future when His presence is with you. The size of your task, the affliction of the enemy, or the prevailing harsh environment cannot stop you if His presence is with you. Your rest is guaranteed if you have His presence. Beloved, be desperate for His presence.

 “Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father;” Genesis 26:3

“And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him, And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.” Acts 7: 9-10

Isaac was going to run to Egypt because of famine but God told him to stay that He would be with him and bless him. Isaac stayed and in the same place where there was famine, he planted and got a hundred-fold harvest. Joseph was a slave but he became a prime minister because God was with him. In Daniel 3, Zadrach, Meshach and Abednego had fellowship with Jesus inside the fire. Fire lost its power to burn because the presence of God was with them. In Mark 4, the storm could not destroy the disciples because Jesus was with them. He calmed the storm. Beloved, with the presence of God, fire cannot burn you, the storm cannot overcome you, your zero will turn to hero and you will experience unusual favor.

 

I decree that the presence of God shall be with you in Jesus name.

Deal with your past

 “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,” Philippians 3:13

Your past is behind you, but it can affect your future if you don’t deal with it wisely. You can learn from your past, but you cannot hold onto it. A lot of people are busy doing two things, they want to go to the new thing, but they are still holding to the past thing so they are struggling. The enemy of the glorious future is the past, whether good or bad. Stop lamenting the past you cannot amend it. You can learn faith and winning strategy from a victorious past, but don’t hold on to it.

“Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:18-19

“Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God.” 1 Samuel 17: 36

If you have killed a Lion in the past, then focus on killing a Goliath in the future. If you failed in the past, God says, forget about it, success is in the future. Either way, God is going to do a new and better thing. The success of yesterday is gone so also the failure of yesterday. The past is always going to be the way it was, stop trying to change it.

May you receive a vision of a glorious future no matter how your past has been in Jesus name.

Wisdom sources 5

 “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” James 1:5

God gives wisdom liberally to those who will ask Him. You only need to ask in faith without doubting. When Solomon was confronted with the challenge of leading the people of Israel, he simply asked for wisdom. God gave him wisdom and the other things he needed. May be you are currently facing a situation and you don’t know what to do, ask God to give you the wisdom to handle the situation.

“Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can judge this thy people, that is so great?” 2 Chronicles 1:10

“For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.” Proverbs 2:6-7

Include prayer for wisdom in your daily prayer request, it is your principal need.  You cannot even access your inheritance without wisdom. This is why Paul made it a daily prayer request for the Saints in Ephesus. May you have wisdom in every situation. May you be able to deal wisely in every affair of life in Jesus name.

Wisdom sources 4

 “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua 1:8

The wisdom you are looking for is in a book. You only need to find the book, read it, and understand it to access the wisdom you need. If you have access to the mystery of the written word of God, the bible, your ways shall be prosperous and you shall have good success. Common sense is not really common unless you are willing to dig deeper into the materials written by men and women who have it.

“In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.” Daniel 9:2

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15

When life’s questions are thrown at you in the form of challenges, the answers are in the book. It is better to have access to the answers before the question comes. What you experience in school is a model of real-life situations. Study ahead so that you can become a master of life’s situations. Readers are leaders. Reading makes you wise and takes away shameful decisions and actions from you.  

May you be wise in all your dealings in Jesus name.

Wisdom sources 3

 “Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.” John 15:14

Yesterday, I shared with you about friendship as a source of wisdom. One major important friendship you should not miss is the friendship with Jesus. This is the most important source of wisdom on earth. You cannot be His friend and not have access to the winning wisdom in life and in destiny. He says the key to His friendship is to do whatever He commands. This was the secret of Abraham. He became the friend of God by acting on God’s commandment and by teaching his children to do so.

“But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend.” Isaiah 41:8

“For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the Lord, to do justice and judgment; that the Lord may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.” Genesis 18:19

Can you imagine having the One who established the world by His wisdom as your friend. All you have to do is to listen to Him and do what He says for you to be on top of any situation in this world. Fortunately, He has given to us His wisdom in black and white, called the Bible, the Word of God. Your life will take shape when you commit to living your life according to the word of God.

May you become a friend of God through obedience to His commandments in Jesus name.

Wisdom sources 2

 “Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.” Proverbs 27:17

The second wisdom source I want to share with you is friendship. If you are not being positively imparted by your friends, you are in the wrong company, you cannot grow. Jesus talked about the blind leading the blinds, both shall fall into the ditch. Only iron can sharpen iron, wood cannot help. If your friends are not going to the destination you have in mind, you cannot get there, you will end up at their destination.

“Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.” Matthew 15:14

“Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.” 1 Corinthians 15:33

The easiest way to become wise is to choose wise friends and it also takes wisdom to do that. You need to have determined your vision and your destination before you choose your friends. Any habits become easy to learn if such a habit is in the company you keep. So if you desire a way of doing things, you must choose friends who know and walk in the way.

May you find the right company for your destiny in Jesus name.

Wisdom sources 1

 “Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise.” Proverbs 6:6

All life’s failures are rooted in a lack of wisdom. The good news is that wisdom rubs on people, it’s a matter of the company you keep. The first wisdom source I want to share with you is mentoring. This includes parental mentoring, pastoral mentoring, and professional mentoring. Abraham taught Isaac faith based on obedience (Genesis 22:7), Jethro taught Moses people’s management (Exodus 18:17-18); Paul taught Timothy (2 Timothy 3:10). Our text says if you go to someone wiser than you, you can learn from the person and become wise.

“Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.” Proverbs 9:9

“And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.” Jeremiah 3:15

You did not choose your biological parents, God gave them to you. Allow God to also connect you to your spiritual parents. Choose your professional mentors who are willing to train and impart you. If you are on this planet, you are in for lifelong learning. Choosing mentors correctly will facilitate this. If you are looking for answers in any area of your life, find someone who has the answers and learn from him.

Follow God’s leading

 “And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:” Exodus 13:21

Beloved, can you sense God’s direction for your life? Have you discovered what God wants to do through you and for you? Have you aligned your visions and your goals with God’s plan for your life? If you are able to do this, then you will have God’s grace and strength in your life. People struggle and labor in vain, because they are outside God’s plans and purposes for their lives. That is why you must take time to present your goals and visions to God in prayer for His green light.

“In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” John 1:4-5

“Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.” Isaiah 48:17

When you move in God’s direction, your little effort will produce great results in all areas of your life. The highest-flying bird in the world is the Eagle. What is its secret? It determines the direction of the wind and releases its wings. It always rides on the wind with little effort and achieves the greatest height. It never moves contrary to the wind.

You shall not move contrary to the wind of God in Jesus name.

Taking what belongs to you 3

 “For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.” Hebrews 10:36

If you desire to take what belongs to you, find the will of God and do it. Obedience is key to taking what belongs to you. We struggle when we fail to do His will for any reason, whether deliberately or because we don’t know His will. It is important for you to earnestly desire to know His will in every situation and to do it. This is the winning wisdom. This is the winning faith. The written word is your primary source of His will, which is the basis for His wisdom and His faith.

“If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:” Isaiah 1:19

“That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” Hebrews 6:12

The story of Isaac in Genesis 26 helps us to understand this point. He was going to run to Egypt because of the famine in Gerar. God told him to stay. Physically speaking, it did not look good, but he obeyed. As a result, God blessed him, and he took what belong to him. May you know the will of God for your life and walk in it in Jesus name.
