Winning the destiny war 8

“And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.” 2 Cor 10:6

Beloved, working in obedience is key to defeating the strongman, pulling down strongholds and winning the destiny war. There is a point where obedience, faith, and wisdom are the same. This point is when you respond positively to the instruction of God for your life. At this point, you cannot lose come what may. The master of disobedience is our archenemy, satan himself; when we walk in disobedience we give him free access into our lives. However, when we walk in obedience we render him powerless in our lives.

“And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king.” 1 Samuel 15:22-23
“His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.’ John 2:5

Your greatest power over the enemy is still your obedience to God. You access the best of God by obeying His word. The act of obedience will be sacrificial most times because it will involve doing things that are not convenient but are the will of God. Our prosperity, security, promotion, and safety that we so much desire will not be an issue if we can hear God and obey Him.

Let the blood of Jesus wash away every act of disobedience in your life and bring defeat to the strongman attached to such in Jesus name,

Prayer for today: I kill every seed of disobedience to the word of God in my life in Jesus name.

Winning the destiny war 7

“Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.” 2 Cor 10:5

Anything that does not want you to experience God is against your destiny. You cannot fulfill your destiny alone. You were not sent into this world to do it alone. You must experience God in every aspect of your life to win the destiny war. Every imagination, argument, thought that does not want you to experience God must be cast down.

“And one told David, saying, Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom. And David said, O Lord, I pray thee, turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness.” 2 Samuel 15:31
“But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith. Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him.’ Acts 13:8-9

The carriers of information that is against your destiny must be uprooted. The personality opposing God and the knowledge of Him in your life must be uprooted.  The Ahithopels and Elymas the sorcerers must be uprooted. Your destiny must become dangerous to be resisted. May you generate power to frustrate every imagination, plan, thought that is against God in your life in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God let me experience you in every area of my life in Jesus name.

Winning the destiny war 6

“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.” Proverbs 23:7

You must have the mindset of a winner to win the destiny war. Any mindset that is supporting a stronghold must be pulled down. Any pattern of thinking that supports fear, failure and defeat must be changed. A new pattern of thinking that supports faith, success, and victory must be embraced. Your mindset determines your life. Your mindset determines what you say and what you do.

“And David said to Saul, Let no man's heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine.” 1 Samuel 17:32
“And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, If I be a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And there came down fire from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.’ 2 Kings 1:10

The fact that poverty or failure has been in your lineage does not mean it must continue with you. Your acceptance of Christ changes everything. 2 Cor 5:17 says, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” What do you need to do? Meditate on the word of God, spend time with Jesus until the mind of Christ manifests in you. Romans 12:2 says, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Beloved, don’t conform but be transformed in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I pull down every stronghold in my life in Jesus name.

Winning the destiny war 5

“Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.” 1 Samuel 17:46

Making a decree in the name of the Lord cannot be overemphasized in dealing with strongholds and strongmen in our lives. Beloved, you need to be convincingly convinced that you are anointed and that you can speak in the name of the Lord and see results. Such a bold declaration is a decree that can uproot any strongman or stronghold no matter how long they have been in place. David said those words against Goliath in the name of the Lord, knowing fully well that he was anointed. Consequently, Goliath was wasted using an ordinary instrument despite his strength, armory, experience, and height.

“Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.” Job 22:28
“Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.’ Matthew 18:18

There is power in your spoken words. This kind of faith-filled words do not depend on your size, skills, and qualifications, they depend on the unlimited size of your God. When you speak, you must expect results and it will be so.

May you continually see the results of your declaration in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Strongman in my life, submit your power in Jesus name.

Winning the destiny war 4

“And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.” Isaiah 10:27

Getting anointed and staying anointed is not negotiable in order to subdue the strongman that wants to service strongholds on our lives. The anointing is an empowerment that makes a man to operate in the strength and authority of God. It is God’s spirit upon a man’s spirit. Jesus our senior brother and the firstborn in our family was and is still called the anointed so also we must carry the anointing. Yokes are broken, burdens are lifted when the anointing is in place.

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” Acts 10:38
“And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.’ Luke 24:49

Beloved, we cannot make it without the anointing!! The mystery of the anointing is in the fellowship with Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit. Stay in the fellowship until you are anointed and when you become anointed, don’t leave the fellowship.

May the ancient strongman in your family be defeated in your life forever in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God anoint me with the Holy Ghost and power in Jesus name.

Winning the destiny war 3

“And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Mathew 16:17-18

You are a threat to the gates of hell. Your destiny, your assignment is a threat to the gates of hell. They will not just watch you cause havoc. They will dispatch strongmen to maintain a stronghold in your life. The effect of this attack can be clearly seen most times but it needs revelation prayers to deal with them. Prayer is effective and powerful but it must be specific and based on revelation to dismantle strongmen that want to disgrace your life. When the battle against your destiny is tough, ask God what you should do and don’t stop until you have received a clear word from him. Flesh and blood cannot handle the gates of hell; it takes a revelation from the Holy Spirit.

“And David enquired of the Lord, saying, Shall I go up to the Philistines? wilt thou deliver them into mine hand? And the Lord said unto David, Go up: for I will doubtless deliver the Philistines into thine hand……. And the Philistines came up yet again, and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim. And when David enquired of the Lord, he said, Thou shalt not go up; but fetch a compass behind them, and come upon them over against the mulberry trees.” 2 Samuel 5:19-23

There is a specific prayer point for a specific battle, ask God for it. What worked yesterday may not work today, ask God for fresh revelation. If you have instructions from the Lord of Host who has never lost a battle, you cannot lose any battle.

This battle shall not swallow you in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: It was a rod that parted the red sea, it was a noise that sank the Jericho wall, Oh God give me an instrument that will terminate my battles in Jesus name.

Winning the destiny war 2

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)” 2 Cor 10:3-4

You must understand and deal with the mystery of strongholds if you want to win the destiny war. Strongholds are situations or patterns that are holding a man strongly because they are being enforced by a supernatural being or by a mindset. Deliverance from a stronghold can only be achieved by dealing with the supernatural being or the mindset behind it. Beloved, if there is any unwanted situation in your life that has become a pattern either in your family or in your life; it may be a stronghold you need to deal with for you to fulfill your destiny.

“When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace:  But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils.” Luke 11:21-2

Let’s talk about dealing with the personality enforcing negative patterns first. You must know that as a child of God you have the authority to dismantle and uproot any personality that wants to enforce any situation on you.  Most times, this personality wants to hide under a legal ground to perpetrate evil in the victim’s life. Jesus came to break all legal grounds that are contrary to us (Col 2:14-15). Three things are important to deal with the personality; they are revelation, anointing, and decree.

Let the stronghold in your life be pulled down in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I crush the personality enforcing any contrary situation my life in Jesus name.

Winning the destiny war 1

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)” 2 Cor 10:3-4

You are too important for the enemy to neglect that is why your destiny and its fulfillment is war. The good news is that as a child of God, you have been programmed to win and make your destiny count. However, it is important for you to walk with the Lord of host and follow His instructions for you to remain unwounded in the destiny journey. Destiny wars involve strongholds, imaginations, and thoughts that cannot be handled after the flesh. These must be dealt with in the spirit and in the mind for positive results in the physical world.

“(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)” 2 Cor 5:7
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:2

Perhaps you are reading this message and your destiny has been besieged. What you are seeing in your life is contrary to your expectations and the promises of God in your life. I have a good news for you, the siege shall be over, the glory of God shall manifest in your life in Jesus name. I will be sharing with you the mysteries that will help you to win the destiny war and be who God wants you to be.

May you experience victory in every battle of life in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I subdue every power sustaining the war against my destiny in Jesus name.

Pray always

“Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up” Luke 18:1 (NIV)

In all that you do, pray always. This is an instruction from our Lord Jesus Christ Himself. If there is one thing you must not give up doing, it is praying. Jesus lived His earthly life in prayer and instructed us to do the same. The only thing you will not obtain in this world is the thing for which you are not willing to pray. The only way the power of darkness can prevail against you is if you give up in prayer.  Prayer brings the impartation of the power and the Spirit of God. Prayer brings revelation of secret and hidden things. Prayer brings the power of God into the realm of men.

“Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime” Daniel 6:10.
“Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.” James 5:17-18

Anything or anyone that try to stop you from praying is trying to stop your destiny. Daniel was brilliant, hardworking but he outlived three kings and kingdoms, and lived as God among men because he prayed always. No matter how comfortable or prosperous you think you are, never downplay the power of prayer.  If you are still far from God’s purposes and plans for your life, prayer will take you there. Just like Elijah did, you can close and open doors using the power of prayer.

May you live in prayer as Jesus did in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I refuse to give up in prayer in Jesus name.

More of you Lord!

“He must increase, but I must decrease.” John 3:30

If you are a Christian, you must know few things about yourself that include the following: you are an instrument of the Lord; you are God’s house; you are God’s oracle; you are God’s mouthpiece; you are God’s weapon of war; you are God’s representative. The summary of these is that you are a light and you are salt. In all that you think, say or do, the Lord must be at the center of it. Your results depend on the level of God you carry. The more of Him, the better it gets with you in terms of you being a light and being salt in this wild world.

“For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.” Acts 17:28
“For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.” Philippians 2:23

Your life is no longer about you but about the Lord. You must be keen to hear Him at all times and be willing to do whatever He says.  Now the implication of this is that your burden is no longer your burden but His, your load is no longer your load but His, your enemies are no longer yours but His, your battles are no longer yours but His.
May you have more of God in your life in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: Oh God increase in my life in Jesus name.

Nothing is final until …..

“In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live. Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the Lord, saying,” 2 Kings 20:1-2

Nothing is final until you accept it to be final. All things are subject to change. Hezekiah was sick unto death, physically speaking it was clear he was going to die. On top of that, a “confirmed” Prophet as some people would say today came and spoke by the word of the Lord that he was going to die. So physically and spiritually speaking, he was going to die but yet he rejected death. He prayed and asked for an extension of lifetime. He got a new message from the same prophet even before the prophet got out of the palace.

“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” 2 Cor 4:18 (NIV)
“Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.” Isaiah 45:11

Beloved, I don’t care to know who gave the message, whether an expert or a spiritual personality, until you accept it, it cannot come to pass in your life. Learn to accept what you want and reject what you do not want on your knee.
I decree that change is coming to every unwanted situation in your life in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: Let the moveable be moved in my life and let all the shakable be shaken in Jesus name.

Stay in the covenant

““Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.” Job 1:10.

The new covenant guarantees your security, protection and blessing. This means the enemy no matter how strong cannot wound you. It also mean that you cannot go down no matter the situation you find yourself. Your way of life, your thinking patterns and your declaration must reflect your consciousness of an active new covenant with God through the blood of Jesus.

The covenant has two parts, Gods commitment to you and your commitment to Him. God cannot fail neither can your faith in Him fail. God expects you to trust and obey Him in all your decisions and actions. He is not a respecter of person but He is a respecter of faith. You must always take actions based on faith and not on fear if you want to enjoy the best of God. Your declaration must also reflect faith and not fear for you to enjoy the covenant.

“We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;” 2 Corinthians 4:13
“…… for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.” 2 Timothy 1:12b

Beloved, stay in the covenant. Be committed to God and live in obedience to Him. He can take care of you. I see you ending this year better than you started it in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I activate the power of the new covenant in every area of my life in Jesus name.

The blessing

“And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.” Genesis 32:26

One of the things that are very important for a man’s life and destiny is the blessing. The blessing is a word became flesh to help you to succeed. The blessing has the power to swallow curses, death, and failures. The blessing makes a man’s weakness hidden and his strength visible. The blessing opens a man’s life to grace, mercy, and favor. When a man is desperate for a change, the blessing has the power to bring the change. That was why Jacob was desperate for the blessing; he said I will not let you go unless you bless me.

“Let Reuben live, and not die; and let not his men be few.” Deuteronomy 33:6
“Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” Galatians 3:13-14

I don’t know if there is any word that has been spoken against you but I know that Jesus came to connect you to the blessing of Abraham. Your redemption sets you up for the blessing. God has placed some people who have the authority to bless in our lives just as Moses was placed in the life of Reuben to bless him and terminate death and fewness in his life. May the Lord bless you. May death and fewness be terminated in every area of your life in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God bless me indeed and enlarge my territory in Jesus name.

The time is “now”

“For he says, “In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, NOW is the time of God’s favor, NOW is the day of salvation.” 2 Corinthians 6:2

“Now” is the time that belongs to you. If you are going to change your life and experience the favor of God, it is “now.” If you are going to complete a “mountain like” project, you must do something about it “now.” What you do “now” affects everything about your life. Take a step “now” towards your goal if you want to achieve it. Your deliverance is “now.” Your salvation is “now.” Your breakthrough is “now.”

“NOW faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1
“You have heard these things; look at them all. Will you not admit them? “From now on I will tell you of new things, of hidden things unknown to you. They are created NOW, and not long ago; you have not heard of them before today. So you cannot say, Yes, I knew of them.’ ” Isaiah 48:6-7

The power of faith is in “now.” If you have received an important information, you must use it “now.” If you are going to create a new thing, the time is “now.” Beloved, “now” is another chance that God has given you to change your life. Pray that prayer now. Read that book now. Take that action now. “Now” has been given to you, use it to bring your expectation into manifestation

May the power of procrastination be broken over your life in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God arise and change my life NOW in Jesus name.

God will do a new thing!

“Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.  Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:18-19.

I have a word from the Lord for you: God is about to make you to experience new things.  God is saying to you, forget your past failures, it is time to experience success. Forget your pass disappointments; it is time to experience appointments. Forget your past rejection, it is time to experience acceptance. God is saying to you, forget your past success, it is time for a new success and breakthrough. He says, the new things shall manifest now.

Let us examine two major things God mentioned in our text:
1. A way in the wilderness: Wilderness situation is a situation of stagnancy, putting efforts without results. Wilderness situation is a lonely situation where there are no helpers. Note that there may be people but none of them is a helper. Wilderness situation is a situation of speaking without making sound; a situation where a man is speaking and no one is hearing. God is going to make a way for you. You will come out of your wilderness situation and experience a breakthrough in Jesus name.
2. Rivers in the desert. Desert situation is a situation of dryness. It indicates financial hardship and lack. God is saying that abundance will replace your desert situation.

What must you do to expertise these new things?
1.Believe. “…Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.” 2 Chronicles 20:20.
2. Declare. “Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the Lord, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you” Numbers 14:18
3.Obey. “His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.” John 2:5
I see God doing new things in your life this week in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: I declare that God will do new things in my life today, this week and this year in Jesus name.

When the night is prolonged 8

“Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.” Philippians 4:4

Another light that you need when the night is prolonged is that you must rejoice always. Never allow the darkness of the nighttime to get into you. The darkness that is around you but never get into you cannot last. When you keep your joy, you keep your strength and your light. This light, darkness of the nighttime cannot overcome it.

“And Joseph came in unto them in the morning, and looked upon them, and, behold, they were sad. And he asked Pharaoh's officers that were with him in the ward of his lord's house, saying, Wherefore look ye so sadly to day?” Genesis 40:6-7
“Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.” Psalms 42:5

Joseph remained excited despite the fact that he was in a nighttime of imprisonment. He helped the Pharaoh officers to come out of sadness despite the fact that he was in prison for an unjust reason. He kept on believing the promise of God and that the nighttime would be over. His connection with the Pharaoh Officer was key to the opportunity he eventually had to get out of the prison and be established in the palace. David addressed the nighttime of his life by remembering the promises of God to help and rejoicing in it. May the joy of the Lord fill your heart. May you keep your joy in the nighttime of your life in Jesus name.

Let your nighttime expire and let your daytime begin in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: My soul rejoice always and let myr nighttime be over in Jesus name.

When the night is prolonged 7

“And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.” Acts 3:5

Expectation comes before manifestation. You are only qualified to receive what you expect. It is important that you direct your expectations to the God that can never fail.  Jesus Christ has solutions to the prolonged nighttime. Give heed to Him and expect Him to terminate your nighttime.

“And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the Lord, and wept sore. And she vowed a vow, and said, O Lord of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the Lord all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.” 1 Samuel 1:10-11
“And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.” Mark 10:47

In a great expectation, Anna turned to God to terminate her nighttime of barrenness and got what she expected. Bartimeus did the same thing and his nighttime of blindness came to an end. In 1 Chronicles 4, Jabesh got solution to the nighttime of curses ranging against his life when he turned to God expecting an answer. May you receive answer as you expect God to intervene in your nighttime in Jesus name.

Let your nighttime expire and let your daytime begin in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, I expect my nighttime to come to an end, let it be so in Jesus name.

When the night is prolonged 6

“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” 1 Thess 5:18

Thanksgiving, praise and prayer have power to switch on the light in the midst of the darkness of the nighttime. Maintaining your gratitude towards God and spending time with Him in prayer is the key to ensuring continuous light when the night is prolonged. It does not matter how thick the darkness of a night is, as long as there is light, the darkness loses its power.

“And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.” Acts 16:25-26
“Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand.” Psalms 149:5-6

If you engage the power of thanksgiving, praise and prayer when the nighttime is prolonged, two things will happen. Firstly, you will have access to a word, a promise from God that will see you through. Secondly, God will appear to shake the root of the darkness in your life and to terminate the nighttime.

Let your nighttime expire and let your daytime begin in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: As I pray with thanksgiving and praise, Oh God arise and appear in my nighttime in Jesus name.

When the night is prolonged 5

“Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:” Mathew 7:24

God’s word to you is your light in the darkness of the nighttime. If you have a word from the Lord, you have the light you need. Psalms 119:105 says, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” What should be your response to the word? Simple believe, obey and do it. Mary said in John 2:5, “Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.” Our text this morning says if you do the word, you are wise.

“And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean?“ 2 Kings 5:13
“And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.” Luke 5:5

The word of the Lord came as an instruction to Naaman to terminate his nighttime of leprosy but he rejected the word and was angry. Nevertheless, fortunately he had wise servants with him to whom he listened. The servants advised him to do the word and he did it. His nighttime of infirmities was over forever.  Peter obeyed the word and his nighttime of failure came to an end. It does not matter how foolish the word may sound to you, if you do it, you will be wise and your nighttime will be terminated.

Let your nighttime expire and let your daytime begin in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Let the word of the Lord come to me in Jesus name.

When the night is prolonged 4

“Then spake Joshua to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon.” Joshua 10:12

You have the power to speak to your nighttime and it will obey. All things tangible and intangible have capacity to hear and respond. Your declaration can change your life, change your situation and bring light into your darkest nighttime. God said in Genesis 1, let there be light and there was light. Joshua made declaration in the sight of the people that the sun and the moon should stand still and they both did.

“We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;“ 2 Corinthians 4:13
“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” Mark 11:23

Never neglect the power of bold declaration to put an end to the prolonged night in your life. The spirit of faith is activated by declaration of what you believe. Believe that your nighttime shall be terminated and make declaration to enforce to it.

Let your nighttime expire and let your daytime begin in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: My nighttime, hear the word of the Lord, be over forever in Jesus name.

When the night is prolonged 3

“God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” Numbers 23:19

When the night seems to be prolonged, never let go of the fact that God is committed to His promises for your life. It does not matter how dark the night it, God has promised to arise upon you. This means you can enjoy light in the midst of darkness because you trust God and believe His promises. You can have joy even when it is still night.

“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.: Isaiah 60:1-2
“(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.” Romans 4:17-18

When Abraham was in his own nighttime, he kept on believing the promises of God. Eventually the night was over; he became the father of many nations as promised by God. Beloved, I see the promises of God coming to fulfilment in your life in Jesus name.

Let your nighttime expire and let your daytime begin in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God arise, let there be light in the midst of my thickest darkness in Jesus name.

When the night is prolonged 2

“And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him, And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.” Acts 7:9-10

Your strongest light in the darkness of the night is your assurance that God is with you. The patriarchs sent Joseph to the darkest night of his life. They sold him into slavery to put an end to his dreams. But the presence of God brought light into his life. God did not only bring him out of the darkness, He ensured the fulfilment of his dreams.

“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31
“And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.” Exodus 33:14

When you are sure of His presence, you have confidence that you will overcome and the night will be over. You need this confidence to be unshakable in the night of your life. His presence guarantees victory and rest in any situation we find ourselves. As a child of God, He has promised not to leave you or forsake you (Hebrews 13:5-6; Romans 8:28). All you have to do is to maintain your love for God and spend time with Him daily. Never allow the night to take you from His presence because that is your key for total turnaround of the situation.

Let your nighttime expire and let your daytime begin in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God let your presence be with me and give me victory in this night situation in Jesus name.

When the night is prolonged 1

“For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” Psalms 30:5

You don’t have to lose your joy in the nighttime of your life. You don’t have to weep throughout the nighttime of your life. You must always have this at the back of your mind, no matter how long the night is, it will expire! When the night is prolonged, you need light to keep your joy.

“And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night: He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people.” Exodus 13:21-22
“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” Psalms 119:105

The word of God is a sure light in the nighttime of our lives. The word of God is God Himself. The first light you need is the assurance of God’s presence. The second light you need is God’s commitment to His promises for your life. The third light you need is your power to speak to your night and it will obey. The fourth light you need is the power of your obedience. The fifth light you need is the power of praise and prayer. The sixth light you need is the power of your expectation. The seventh light is that you must rejoice always. I will share each of these with you in the next seven days.

Let your nighttime expire and let your daytime begin in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God arise and deliver me from the power of the night in Jesus name.

Making news

“Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.” Daniel 3:28

When challenges come, you must see opportunities. Opportunity to make news, opportunity to make history, opportunity to experience victory and give testimony. This is called making lemonade out of lemons.

In order to do this, you must be willing to take up challenges that come your way trusting God all the way. Little challenges lead to little news; big challenges lead to big news if you have victory. If Goliath had killed David it would not have been a news. David killed Goliath and that was news, David made history. If fire roasted Zadrach, Meshack and Abednego, that would not have been news. But the fact that they went into fire without being hurt made news. You don’t make history by staying in the boat, but by getting on water and walking on it. There is someone reading my message this morning, God wants you to turn the present situation that is confronting you to news of testimonies.

Don’t change what you believe because your belief is being challenged. Don’t drop your faith when there is adversity, if you do, you will miss the opportunity to see the mighty hand of God. God wants to use you to display His power among the unbelievers. Don’t stay in the mud you have found yourself, get up and shine again. It is time to make news. It is time to make history. It is testimony time.

Arise and shine for your light has come in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Lord use me to display your glory and power among the people in Jesus name.

Your deliverance is certain

“Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.” Psalms 34:19

I may not know what you are going through right now, but one thing I know for sure, God shall deliver you from all your afflictions. He delivered Paul and Silas (Acts 16), He delivered Peter (Acts 12) and He also delivered Joseph (Acts 7) and David (1 Samuel 17). Your case will not be an exception; He will also deliver you.

“And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.” Acts 16:25-26

The source of the bondage or trouble does not matter because God is able to deliver all that trust in Him. The source is various for individuals but God is constant and has promised to deliver you. God will not leave anything out, He will deliver you from all your afflictions. Three things are important: ask Him to deliver you, trust that He has heard you and stop worrying about it, and do whatever He tells you to do.

Your testimony shall manifest speedily in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God arise and deliver me from all my afflictions in Jesus name.

God’s plan for you

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Jeremiah 29:11

God is a good God. He is a trusted Father. More importantly, He is committed to His word and promises to you. Instead of evil, you can expect peace; Instead of failure, you can expect success. Always align your expectation with His plan for your life because His plan is good towards you.

“For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.” Mark 9:23
“And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.  But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.” Numbers 13:30:31

Now, you need to understand that you may actually experience a situation that seems to say that His plan will not come to pass. Never doubt God, but rather doubt the situation that is contrary to His plan for you. Be a Caleb and a Joshua who despite the presence of the giants they believed God and took the promised land. What God said to you will come to pass if you believe Him despite all odds.

I see your situation aligning with God’s promise for your life in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God I believe you will take me to my promised land in Jesus name.

Beyond the limits

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:13

Nothing limits a man except the limit he sets for himself. To what extent are you willing to go? If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the fruit of the land. God can take you there if you are willing to go there. Paul said I can do ALL things through Christ who provides me strength. If you understand how to exchange your weakness for God’s strength, you can extend your limits.

“Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.” Mark 9:23

All things are possible for him that believes. If there is a will there will always be a way. The limit of your believing is the limit of your results. If you can believe a little more, you can see a little more results. If you say, you cannot, you have limited yourself. If you say you can, you have extended your limits. The moment you believe you can, heaven will back you up, and you will be able to dig into your thought realm to bring out actions step that will deliver the results.

Everyone was running away from Goliath until David who believed he could handle him arrived. He said in 1 Samuel 17:32, “And David said to Saul, Let no man's heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine.” This was what a believing David said. He went ahead to take stones for his sling and confronted Goliath. Who told him that a sling and a stone were enough to kill Goliath? He knew that a little instrument was enough to get a big result if you could believe in a big God. Genesis 11:6b says, “…..and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.”

Beloved, extend your limits, think big, believe big, take big steps; if it is in your heart, it can be in your hand.
Prayer for today: I am willing, I am walking in obedience, O God extend my limits in Jesus name.
