“He must increase, but I must
decrease.” John 3:30
If you are a Christian, you must
know few things about yourself that include the following: you are an
instrument of the Lord; you are God’s house; you are God’s oracle; you are God’s
mouthpiece; you are God’s weapon of war; you are God’s representative. The
summary of these is that you are a light and you are salt . In all that you
think, say or do, the Lord must be at the center of it. Your results depend on
the level of God you carry . The more of Him, the better it gets with you in
terms of you being a light and being salt in this wild world.
“For in him we live, and move, and
have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also
his offspring.” Acts 17:28
“For it is God which worketh in
you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.” Philippians 2:23
Your life is no longer about you
but about the Lord. You must be keen to hear Him at all times and be willing to
do whatever He says. Now the implication
of this is that your burden is no longer your burden but His, your load is no
longer your load but His, your enemies are no longer yours but His, your
battles are no longer yours but His.
May you have more of God in your
life in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: Oh God increase in my
life in Jesus name.
