What can you perceive?

“The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.” John 4:19

You will surely need a strong and accurate perception to finish well at this end-time as a Christian. You will meet different kinds of people on your journey. Some will come to deceive you and take you away from your God-given assignment while some will come to help you fulfill them.  If you can perceive correctly, you will not have trouble identifying and giving opportunities to the right people in your life. The woman in our text perceived that Jesus was a prophet, the experience changed her life.

“And, lo, I perceived that God had not sent him; but that he pronounced this prophecy against me: for Tobiah and Sanballat had hired him.” Nehemiah 6:12

“And she said unto her husband, Behold now, I perceive that this is an holy man of God, which passeth by us continually.” 2 Kings 4:9

Shemaiah who was described as a secret informer came to prophesy to Nehemiah that he should go into hiding because the enemy would come and kill him. Nehemiah quickly perceived that Shemaiah had been hired by the enemy so that the work could be stopped.  In 2 kings 4, the Shunamite woman perceived that Elisha was a Man of God. That was the perception that took her out of the company of the barren. Strong perception comes from a strong commitment to something. Then the enemy will be exposed when he comes to you disguised as a friend. Strong perception is developed by a deep understanding of your assignment. Strong perception is developed by adequate fellowship with God through prayer and His word.

I perceive that you will have breakthroughs this month in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, Let me perceive the people you have sent to me for a change of level in Jesus name.

Salvation: Lord Jesus, I believe in the forgiveness of sin and in the redemption from the power of darkness through your blood. I confess you as my Savior and Lord.  I invite you into my life to save my soul. Holy Spirit, come into my heart and make me what you want me to be. Thank you Lord for saving me in Jesus name.

Desperate desire 4

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” Hosea 4:6

One of the main limitation of people’s destinies is knowledge. Lack of knowledge incapacitates a man. Even God says His own people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. That is one of the main reasons that God raises pastors, to impart knowledge (Jeremiah 3:15). You must desperately desire knowledge. Be excited about training, reading books, and mentorship. This is the cure for a lame destiny.

“But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.” 2 Peter 3:18.

“The labour of the foolish wearieth every one of them, because he knoweth not how to go to the city.” Ecclesiastes 10:15

One of the definition of grace is the intrinsic ability to make things happen without stress. This comes with knowledge. If you have not mastered the knowledge of the bible, you will be a weak Christian. If you have not mastered the knowledge of at least a skill, poverty is guaranteed. Desperately desire knowledge, this may be the key to your deliverance.

May you be filled with the hunger for knowledge in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, Let me know you and your power in Jesus name.

Desperate desire 3

“Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.” Isaiah 55:1

One of the things that money cannot buy is the anointing. The purchasing instrument for the anointing is desperate desire: thirst and hunger.  As a Christian, you would not be able to do without the anointing of the Holy Spirit on your life.  The anointing is your defense in this wicked world. The anointing is the seal of God on your sonship. The anointing is what differentiates you from the crowd. The anointing is the teacher within you.

““But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.” Acts 8:20.

“Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.” Matthew 5:6

Pray until you get anointed. Your head must lack no oil. Let the oil of His power rest on you. Your present personality may not be able to sustain your destiny or the purpose of God for your life. If you get anointed, you will become another man. Be desperate for the anointing of God upon your life. This may be all you need for a change of story.

Let the oil of God flow over you in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, anoint me with the Holy Spirit and power in Jesus name.

Desperate desire 2

“The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding.” Proverbs 4:7 (NIV)

Get wisdom at all costs. Be desperate for wisdom. No man can make it without wisdom. It takes wisdom to turn things around and become a wonder to many. If you desperately desire God’s wisdom and receive it, you will produce signs and wonders. The forerunner of wisdom is understanding, hunger for knowledge and understanding, then wisdom shall be your companion.

“When the Sabbath came, he began to teach in the synagogue, and many who heard him were amazed. “Where did this man get these things?” they asked. “What’s this wisdom that has been given him? What are these remarkable miracles he is performing?” Mark 6:2 (NIV)

“Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.” Joshua 1:8 (NIV)

God has decided to make His wisdom available to the children of men. You can ask Him to give you wisdom. You can meditate on the word of God to access wisdom. Be desperate enough to meditate on His word and to pray until you access this God-given wisdom. It is what we need to beat the onslaught of the wicked in this generation.

May you receive wisdom for destiny fulfillment in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let Your wisdom be given to me in Jesus name.

Desperate desire 1

“As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?” Psalm 42:1-2

You are probably desperate for many things right now. However, as a believer in Christ Jesus, you do not need to. You only need to be desperate for God and more of Him. Misdirected desire or passion is the reason for delays in the life of many Christians. The fullness of God is the answer to the fullest of worries. Hunger and thirst after God and you shall be filled. When you are filled, you will become a wonder to many no matter your present situation.

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33

“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” John 1:14

When God becomes flesh to you, you gain access to the grace and the truth you need for a glorious destiny. This is a result of your unwavering desire for God. Can you imagine a deer in need of water? Nothing else matters except the water. You must come to a point of nothing else matters except God. At that point, nothing can stop you from receiving an encounter with God that will change your life forever.

May you have an encounter with God in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let Your fullness come to me in Jesus name.

The storm shall pass

“And when they were escaped, then they knew that the island was called Melita.” Acts 28:1

Perhaps you are passing through a storm right now, I have good news for you: the storm shall pass away and you shall be standing. You shall escape and only see the storm behind you. Paul and other people on the voyage to Rome had been attacked by a storm called Euroclydon for many days. In the midst of the storm, the Angel of the Lord appeared to him and told him that all of them would outlast the storm and they did. They landed on an island called Melita. You also shall outlast your storm in Jesus name.

“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.” Isaiah 43:2

“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9

You only need a word from the Lord and an assurance of His presence to overcome any storm no matter how tough it is. This is what gives you boldness and confidence to speak to the storm.  God has assured you of His presence and He is saying to you this morning that He will see you through. Just as Jesus took the hand of Peter and they both walked on the water (Matthew 14:31-32), God will hold your hand and take you through in Jesus name.

Your testimony shall come quickly in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let Your presence abide with me and let Your word come to me in Jesus name.

The only constant factor

“Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness. Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.” Psalm 48:1-2

The only constant factor in this life is God, all others are variable. Situations can change, but God remains the same and He is beautiful for all situations. He is the God of the valley and the God of the mountain. Only God can be trusted, all others are given the benefit of the doubt. Now if you claim to be a child of God, you have nothing to worry about in this life. Your main concern should be that the Spirit of God and the hand of God must be upon your life. If that is the case, your challenges cannot overcome you.

“And there came a man of God, and spake unto the king of Israel, and said, Thus saith the Lord, Because the Syrians have said, The Lord is God of the hills, but he is not God of the valleys, therefore will I deliver all this great multitude into thine hand, and ye shall know that I am the Lord.” 1 Kings 20:28

“While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:18

Many are worried about the dwindling economy of many nations as a result of Covid19 and the associated consequences. Some are worried about the unresolved issues in their lives. While others are concerned that some of their prayers are not answered.  I am glad to announce to you that you do not need to worry about any of these and such like them. This is because they are all subject to change, and God is able to handle them all. Maintain fellowship with Him and obedience to Him until you get your answers.

I see God manifesting in every area of your life in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let your glory rise upon me, let your light come unto me for me to rise and shine in Jesus name.

Receive and achieve

“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.” Isaiah 60:1

God’s grace, wisdom, and anointing are available for results in your life.  As a Child of God, your achievement will depend on what you receive from God and not your own strength. God is willing to pour Himself into you for supernatural results.  Your shining will depend on your positioning for the glory of God to rise upon you just as the moon needs the glory of the sun to shine. You do not need to generate the light just position yourself to reflect the light of God. The limit of your achievements is the limit of your receiving.

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:13

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.” Luke 4:18

What should you do? Spend time with God until you become emptied of unbelief, doubt and fear, and you are filled with His spirit. Connect to His grace and wisdom through meditation on the word of God. Go forward in the consciousness of His grace upon your life. I see God putting His strength on you for extraordinary achievement in all your endeavors.

May you be filled with the wisdom and the power of God in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let your glory rise upon me, let your light come unto me for me to rise and shine in Jesus name.

Prevail for your birthrights

“For Judah prevailed above his brethren, and of him came the chief ruler; but the birthright was Joseph's:” 1 Chronicle 5:2

You have birthrights. Even as a Christian, your second birth gives you birthrights in the kingdom of God. However, what is the importance of a right you have but cannot enjoy? The scepter belongs to those who prevail and not those who have birthrights. That is why you must prevail with God and with men if you want to enforce your birthright. Reuben was supposed to have the birthright, but he lost it to iniquity, he slept with his father’s wife (1 Chronicle 5:1). Joseph got the birthright, but he could not enforce it, he did not prevail. He had the document but did not have its reality. However, Judah prevailed; he had the reality, although he did not have the document.

“I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth.” Ecclesiastes 10:7

“And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.” Genesis 32:28

As a Christian, many things are yours according to the scriptures, but where is the reality in your life? You must prevail with God and with men if you want to enjoy what has been written concerning you. Jacob was blessed years before he entered the reality of the blessing. Until he prevailed, he was living as if he had not been blessed.

May you prevail to experience the blessings of God in your life in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God empower me to prevail with You and with men in Jesus name.

Live a prayerful life

“And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.” Mark 1:35

If you are a Christian, prayer must be a daily and consistent part of your life. Prayer is a right action that can help you know what next to do and empower you to do it. In the place of prayer, you get two major things that lead to a breakthrough. You get impartation and revelation. Impartation brings an aura of favor and power upon you while revelation gives you answers to your questions. Revelation is the master key to all challenges in life. You cannot do without either of the two as a Christian in this wicked world.

“And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?” Luke 18:7-8

“Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.” Daniel 6:10

Jesus Christ, the word of God incarnate lived a life of prayer. You cannot make it in this endtime without having a life soaked in prayer. Anyone who says you are praying too much is an enemy of first, your destiny, second, your future and third, your Christian life. Jesus said when you are praying day and night, you are showing faith (Luke 18:7-8) and you know what, the just shall live by faith. Prayer empowers you to live. Daniel prayed three times every day so he became a god in his generation. Beloved, pray until something happens, when something happens, pray until another thing happens. Prayer is as important as your daily food. Make up your mind to live a life of prayer, then your destiny fulfilment is guaranteed.

I see God doing great and unusual things through you in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, do whatever you want with my life in Jesus name.

The rod in your hand 3

“Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go." Isaiah 48:7

There is something God has placed in your hand for your breakthrough. What you need to change your life is in your hand right now. If you cannot see it or it seems the situation you are in right now is not in agreement with this statement, please go back to God. When you do, it should not be with an attitude of a complaint. You should ask God to teach you and to lead you. Fortunately, God is willing to show us how to profit with the rod He has given us.

“But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.” 1 John 2:27

“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” James 1:5

Add to the rod you have in your hand, the wisdom and the anointing to make the rod profitable. When you allow God to lead you and to teach you, He will impart on you the wisdom and the anointing that you need. Even if there is any power trying to limit you and prevent you from identifying or using your rod, the power shall be dealt with.

May you receive the leading of the Lord for profit in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God anoint me and give me wisdom to use what you have given me in Jesus name.

The rod in your hand 2

“For ye have the poor with you always, and whensoever ye will ye may do them good: but me ye have not always." Mark 14:7

The money in your hand is a rod for your breakthrough. It is easier to be need-conscious than to be seed-conscious when it comes to money. This is because of the many needs that are around us. It becomes sacrificial either to invest or give to experience a future increase or breakthrough. This may be the sacrifice you need to do in order to break free from a certain level, to go up and secure your future. If you withhold when you are supposed to give, you miss God. You must give regularly to the poor, but when you desire a definite breakthrough, sacrificial giving of something precious to the gospel may be needed.

“And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.” Genesis 22:2

“Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things. Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” Galatians 6:6-7

It is your responsibility to discern what the money in your hand should be used for (2 Kings 4:8-17, 1 Kings 17:10-15, Mark 14:3-9). However, you cannot miss it when you give to the gospel and take good care of your pastor. Add giving to your praying. When a man of God tells you of a need in the ministry, it is an opportunity of you to connect to the supernatural. Giving is both spiritual and physical, your sensitivity to the voice of God and obedience to Him will change your life forever.

May you experience the breakthrough you desire in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God teach me to profit and lead me by the way I should go in Jesus name.

The rod in your hand 1

“But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea." Exodus 14:16

There is a rod in your hand. God put it there for your breakthrough. You must recognize it and know how to use it.  Many people are like Moses, crying to God to do something for them for which He has given them something to use. God said to Moses, use the rod in your hands and divide the sea. In other words, "Moses make it happen." The rod in your hand may be your gift, talent, or a seed. May you receive wisdom to put it to use what is in your hands for your breakthrough in Jesus name.

“And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil.” 2 Kings 4:2

“Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.” Luke 5:4

Can you imagine that the widow in 2 Kings 5 had what she could use to pay her debts and yet she was going to lose her children to the creditors? Simon’s net was just needed to be released at the right time for a breakthrough, and yet he thought he had failed. Beloved, it is not over for you. May you receive instruction to put to use what is already in your hand in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God open my eyes to what you have given me to use for my turnaround miracle in Jesus name.

Pray anyway!

“And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years." Luke 1:18

There are instances in the bible when someone or some people could not believe it when their requests were granted. This was because the situation looked so impossible and difficult. However, they prayed anyway. They were consistent and persistent in prayers. And God rewarded them. One of these situations was Zechariah’s prayers. He continually mentioned in prayers that God should give him a child. He could not believe it when the answer came, because he did not know that God would do it. Beloved, I don’t know how difficult your situation seems to be, pray and don’t stop praying even if you don’t think God will do it.

“And when she knew Peter's voice, she opened not the gate for gladness, but ran in, and told how Peter stood before the gate. And they said unto her, Thou art mad. But she constantly affirmed that it was even so. Then said they, It is his angel.  But Peter continued knocking: and when they had opened the door, and saw him, they were astonished.” Acts 12:14-16

“And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;” Luke 18:1

Another such situation was the church praying continuously for Peter’s released. When Peter arrived, they could not believe it. Some of them thought it was his Angel. The praying people even said to Rhoda that she was mad because she said Peter was at the door. They did not think God would deliver Peter but they prayed anyway. They did continuously and received answers. Pray continuously on that situation, your answer will come in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: My prayers and answered in Jesus name.

Believe and receive!

“Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them." Mark 11:24

When you pray, stop worrying; start believing. Have you ever asked a trusted person something and the person promised you that he would do it? I am sure you immediately began to feel excited as if you had received it. The feeling would be like having money in your bank account. Even when you are far from your bank, you are confident you can access your money at any time. God has promised to answer your prayers and He can be trusted more than any man can.

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” Mathew 7:7

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” Philippians 4:6

When you have prayed on a matter, keep on declaring, “I believe, I receive.” Stop worrying and start acting as if you have what you asked. The bible says concerning Hannah in 1 Samuel 1:17-18, “Eli answered, “Go in peace, and may the God of Israel grant you what you have asked of him.” She said, “May your servant find favor in your eyes.” Then she went her way and ate something, and her face was no longer downcast.”

I decree your prayers are answered in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I believe, I receive in Jesus name.

Do you know God? 4

“And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.” Daniel 11:32

Knowledge brings strength. The knowledge of God will give you the strength you need to handle any situation on earth. It does not matter how weak you seem to be, if you know God you will be strong enough to do exploits. If you compromise to get anything you desire, it is an indication that you don’t know God. People that know God are so confident in Him that they would hold unto Him until they get their breakthrough.

“There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” Genesis 39:9

“If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.” Job 14:14

Do you know God as a loving and caring God? Do you know God as the God that answers prayers? Do you know Him as the God who empowers people? Do You know Him as the God that blesses and prospers His people? The way you receive God is the way He will manifest in your life. Know Him as the all in all, omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient God.  May be you are in a situation that only God can help you, seek Him with boldness and confidence that He will show up. He always does at the right time. May you have testimonies this week in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let me experience You in every area of my life in Jesus name.

Do you know God? 3

“If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.” Job 36:11

Your knowledge of God is revealed through your service and obedience to Him. It is important to know that the mystery of God is revealed through the family of God and the Fatherhood of God. God has a family where He is known as a Father. If God is your Father, you will be active in His family, you will serve and obey Him. Your prosperity is directly a product of service and obedience to Him. The church is the body of Christ and the family of God. Your obedience and service in the church is a revelation of your knowledge of God.

“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” John 1:12-13

“Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.” 1 Corinthians 12:7

If you know God as a caring father and you know the church as the family of God and yourself as a member, why will it be difficult for you to be active? Examine yourself today and your knowledge of God. No one runs away from a family that he is convinced can take care of Him. God takes the best care for His people. The kind you will never get anywhere else. Praying, worshipping, and acting as the family of God is what the devil is fighting. He knows if we stay together, we shall win together. May you know God to the extent that God will know you as His child and one of His family members.

Prayer for today: Oh God, help me to take my place in Your family in Jesus name.

Do you know God? 2

“That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;” Philippians 3:10

Paul prayed for the Knowledge of God and the prayer were linked to Jesus and His death on the cross. He talked about the power, the fellowship, and taking up His nature. If you want to answer the question of your knowledge of God, the cross cannot be neglected.  Out of the death of Jesus on the cross and His resurrection proceeds the grace to receive His power, to be in fellowship with Him and to carry His nature. The question is if you claim to know God, have you been visited by the Christ who died on the cross? Do you have experience of His power? Do you fellowship with Him and display His nature?

“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:” Ephesians 1:17

“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 3:18

These questions can only be answered by someone who is ready for the fullness of God in His or her life. Many are probably carried away by the needs and their present trouble. If you know God and walked in His nature, in His power and in fellowship with Him, you will always have an upper hand on the issues of life.

Prayer for today: Oh God, help me to walk in your power and in your nature and in fellowship with you in Jesus name.

Do you know God? 1

“The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master's crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider.” Isaiah 1:3

I don’t know what you are going through right now, but I know that God is able to see you through. God is concerned about the fact that His people do not know Him.  Many have head knowledge of God, but do not know Him in their hearts and so have not experienced Him. Many confess that they are Christians but their ways of handling issues of life betray their confession. Many are limited in their results because they depend on their own wisdom more than God. And many are taken away by the worldly way of doing things. Many even think that God is slow in responding to their needs. Beloved, there is no one who loves you like God. It does not matter what your weaknesses and strengths are, the knowledge of God is what you need to manifest.

“This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.” Matthew 15:8

“(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.” Matthew 6:32

Let me quickly say this, stop looking for God because of a need, look for God for who He is. If you are able to get hold of God for who He truly is, you will be on top of any situation life and satan may throw at you. Perhaps you have been seeking God and you are not yet there, don’t give up. Your breakthrough is nearer than you think.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let me be hungry for you in Jesus name.

Deal with doubt and unbelief

“And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?” Mathew 14:31

Your situation is subject to change. Your case has a solution. It is not late for you to experience God and His power. It is not over for you. Your future is glorious. Your vision is possible. That is God’s message for all believers. Never doubt God. If you must doubt, doubt your doubt. Fight unbelief and walk in your victory. You are born of God, stop doubting start believing.

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” 1 John 5:4

“But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” James 1:6-8

Stop listen to doubters if you want to deal with your doubt and unbelief. Match your case with scriptural evidence of the power of God and start believing God for your miracle. Start testifying to yourself based on your faith in God until you see the reality of your testimony. God does great things and your own is included.

Prayer for today: Oh God, I believe, let me experience Your mighty hand in my life in Jesus name.

Not beyond God

“Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:.” Jeremiah 32:17

What is beyond you is not beyond God. What is hard for you is not hard for God. The secret of getting what is beyond you done is getting God committed. To get Him committed you must be sure you belong to Him and you are committed to Him. Be desperate for His instruction and walk in obedience to Him. Then always turn the issue to Him without fear and worry.

“Then there came some that told Jehoshaphat, saying, There cometh a great multitude against thee from beyond the sea on this side Syria; and, behold, they be in Hazazontamar, which is Engedi. And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the Lord, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.” 2 Chronicles 20:2-3

“Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips.” Psalm 16:4

Who do you trust to help you when you need to handle what is beyond you? Go to God first. Although God may use a man, never go to man first. Let God decide who He will use and guide you. Never go to the devil or a strange God to look for help. The end cannot be good. Whether you need direction for your life or you need a breakthrough, seek God with all your heart. Stay there until you show up. If God does not help, there is no help in any other place. The good news is that God will show up for you.

Prayer for today: Oh God arise and take care of all my situation in Jesus name.

Joy cometh 3

“Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the Lord; Thus saith the Lord, To morrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.” 2 Kings 7:1

The joy of every Christian does not depend on anything other than the word of God and the Holy Spirit. They are answers to anything that wants to bring sadness or mourning into our lives. This is why your utmost desire is to have the word daily and the Spirit of God upon your life. The change in Samaria only happened when the right word came into the situation. Within twenty-four hours there was a 180-degree change in the situation. Someone chose not to believe, expressed his unbelief, and got the maximum punishment for it. Others experienced the change. I see you walking in joy in Jesus name.

“Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, if the Lord would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.” 2 Kings 7:2

“To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.” Isaiah 61:3

God is glorified when you walk in joy. Cast away the spirit of heaviness, shake off the dust, quench mourning, and receive the beauty of the Lord, the oil of joy, and the garment of praise. This is the word of the Lord to you. The word is what you hold until you see things that your heart's desires. Your joy comes right now in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I receive the oil of joy, the garment of praise, and the beauty of the Lord in Jesus name.

Joy cometh 2

“For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” Psalms 30:5

God says joy comes. If I were you I will say what God says, I will pray what God says. I don’t care to know what has happened in the night, but I know what is coming. What is coming is Joy. Why? Because God says so. The night might have been filled with weeping, but joy is coming. I don’t care to know what the enemy is doing, but I know what God is about to do. He is bringing joy.  Beloved, God is bringing joy to you, believe it, declare it, pray it and receive it.

“While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue's house certain which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further? As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.” Mark 5:35-36

“Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. Thus saith the Lord God unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:” Ezekiel 37:4-5

Stop listening to the voice of the enemy, start listening and believing what God is saying. I tell you if you listen to what God is saying, and you believe it. This is what will happen to you no matter the situation. Jairus had his daughter back by listening and believing Jesus, despite the fact that what those people said was true. Ezekiel got a living army out of dry bones because he prophesied what God said. God is saying to you concerning every area of your life, weep no more, joy comes.

I see joy all around you in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Let the joy of the Lord manifest in every area of my life in Jesus name.

Joy cometh 1

“For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” Psalms 30:5

For every woman reading this message, this is wishing you a happy mothers’ day. For those of you that are already mothers, your motherhood is blessed. For those aspiring to be mothers, the gate of motherhood is opened to you in Jesus name. I decree that your weeping is over, your joy comes in Jesus name. For any mother who has a child struggling or causing pain, I decree that the power of God shall touch the child, the power of the devil is broken over the child in Jesus name.

“And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me.” Genesis 21:6

“He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the Lord.” Psalm 113:9

Your womb and your children are blessed. They shall bring you joy. Your night of weeping is over, your morning of joy comes. Prophesy on your womb. Prophesy on your children. Declare your expectation in Jesus name. Don’t stop until you see the result of your prophecy. Ezekiel said, “So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.”  Dedicate yourself afresh unto the Lord. Dedicate your womb unto the Lord. Dedicate your children unto the Lord. No more weeping in Jesus name.

I see joy all around you in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: My night of weeping expire, my morning of joy appear in Jesus name.

If Elijah could, then…

“Elijah was a man with a nature like ours [with the same physical, mental, and spiritual limitations and shortcomings], and he prayed [d]intensely for it not to rain, and it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months. Then he prayed again, and the sky gave rain and the land produced its crops [as usual].” James 5:17-18 (AMP)

If Elijah could pray to get results, then you can. Beloved, one of the things that make Christianity juicy is the ability to secure answers to prayers. Then you can enforce the will of God and stop the work of the devil. That was exactly what Elijah did. Now, our text today is saying that Elijah had the same nature and limitations that we are having, and yet he did all that. You have no excuse. Let us begin to use the power of prayers to change our lives and that of others.

“And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.” 1 Chronicles 4:10

“And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me. And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou son of David, have mercy on me.” Mark 10:47-48

The present world belongs to those who know how to get answers to their prayers. The only antidote to worry is prayer. The only cure for all satanic attacks and imitations is prayer. The present generation is blessed with the name of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit. These are our guarantees in prayer. They only need persistence and consistency to see the wonder of God in their lives.

When you pray, God will answer in Jesus name.

Christians in South Africa, declare today that South Africa is for Jesus, no demonic invocation and invasion shall prevail over the land of South Africa in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God manifest your signs and wonders in my life in Jesus name.

Spirit empowered!

“Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts." Zechariah 4:6

An excellent way of getting results is by being empowered by the Holy Spirit. When the spirit came upon Saul, he became another man. He became a free man to do as occasion demanded. When the Spirit came upon David, he slaughtered Goliath as if he was never a giant. Even our Lord Jesus did all that He did because He was empowered by the Holy Spirit.

“And the Spirit of the Lord will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man. And let it be, when these signs are come unto thee, that thou do as occasion serve thee; for God is with thee.” 1 Samuel 10:6-7

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,” Luke 4:18

Beloved, perhaps you are struggling with getting important things done in your life, begin to ask that God to anoint you with the Holy Spirit to get it done. I see you excelling in every way in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God anoint me to make things happen in Jesus name.

You are more than this!

"For it was little which thou hadst before I came, and it is now increased unto a multitude; and the Lord hath blessed thee since my coming: and now when shall I provide for mine own house also?” Genesis 30:30

Jacob had been a slave to Laban for more than twenty-one years. All he could show for his labor were wives and children. He was not even in control of his finances. Laban was in charge and was enjoying the moment. Suddenly, Jacob realized that he was more than this. He realized he could do better. Laban knew he had been blessed because of Jacob yet he put limitations on him and robbed him many times (Genesis 30:27). Jacob challenged the situation, used his skills, and realized God’s blessings upon his life.

“And the man increased exceedingly, and had much cattle, and maidservants, and menservants, and camels, and asses.” Genesis 30:43

“And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.”

A situation you are not willing to challenge, you cannot change. The future you are not willing to embrace you cannot conquer. Say no to stagnancy, defeat, and the limitation that has kept you from realizing your full potential. Beloved, if what you are going through is blocking your vision, you may have to turn to God to open your eyes. God wants to do great things through you. God wants you blessed and not just to survive. God wants to enlarge and increase you. Start by asking God to help you and give you grace. Sharpen your skills and dare to take new territories.

May you experience increase on every side in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God enlarge my coast and expand my territory in Jesus name.

Prevailing prayer

“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebrews 11:6

Prevailing prayer is effective and will always secure an answer from God. Prevailing prayer is a prayer of faith. It is a prayer that is based on the fact that God is alive and will always reward those who seek Him diligently. Prevailing prayer is always offered with a firm belief that the answer will come. Prevailing prayer is a prayer enabled by the Holy Spirit.

“So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees, And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, There is nothing. And he said, Go again seven times.” 1 Kings 18:42-43

“But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.” James 1:6-7

To offer prevailing prayer, you must first believe that what you are praying for is the will of God. You must also believe in the unlimited capability of God to answer the prayer. You must be diligent to persist until you see the result of the prayer. You must depend on the Holy Spirit to help you. Elijah prayed and asked his servant to go and check for the sign of the rain because he was confident that the rain will come through his prayers. The story of the persistent widow in Luke 18, the story of Jacob in Genesis 32, the story of Anna in 1 Samuel 1, and the story of Bartimeus in Mark 10 revealed how to offer a prevailing prayer that gets results.

May you prevail in prayer today and always in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I receive the passion to offer a prevailing prayer for my life and destiny in Jesus name.

Use the scriptures

“……..and the scripture cannot be broken.” John 10:35b

All other things can be broken but the scripture cannot be broken. All others can fail but the scriptures cannot fail. Use the scriptures to solve your problems. Use the scriptures to bring your mountain down. Speak the scriptures over and over again on the situation until the situation changes. The scriptures have the power to penetrate into the past, if your problem originated from the past. It has the power to take care of now and the future. It is one of the weapons that the devil cannot handle. It is your sword of the spirit.

“For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” Isaiah 55:9-10

“Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” Matthew 24:35

There are three important keys to using the scriptures. They are diligence, faith, and patience. I know we are in a generation that wants it now, now. But any man of wisdom will know that just as the problem manifesting now comes as an end of a process, the solution also is an end of a process. All things in life take a process.  Be diligent in searching the scriptures and speaking them over and over again. Do it in faith and in patience until you get the answer.

Your solution is delivered to you in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I receive my solutions right now in Jesus name.
