Your Garment and Your Head 2

“Then Jacob said unto his household, and to all that were with him, Put away the strange gods that are among you, and be clean, and change your garments:” Genesis 35:2

One of the Hymns says, “Are you washed in the blood, In the soul-cleansing blood of the Lamb? Are your garments spotless? Are they white as snow?   Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?” The provision for our clean garments is made complete in the finished work of Christ through His blood. Now the question is should we neglect this grace and continue in sin, taking God’s mercy for granted? Should we not bear the fruit that meets repentance?

“Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:” Matthew 3:8

‘And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus.” Mark 10:50

I think the things that really make a new testament believer to have filthy garment is idolatry and disobedience. Idolatry is giving the space that belongs to God to another, particularly in our hearts.  God demands the whole of our hearts. Disobedience is taking deliberate actions against the will of God. These actually strengthen the enemy to resist us.  Jacob told his family to put away strange gods, to get clean and change their garments because they were preparing for God’s visitation. May the spirit of the Lord reveal to you the state of your garment in Jesus name. May you come into the fullness of God in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, wash me and cleanse me from all my sins and fill me with the Holy Ghost in Jesus name.

Salvation: Lord Jesus, I believe in the forgiveness of sin and in the redemption from the power of darkness through your blood. I confess you as my Savior and Lord.  I invite you into my life to save my soul. Holy Spirit, come into my heart and make me what you want me to be. Thank you Lord for saving me in Jesus name.

Your Garment and Your Head 1

“Let thy garments be always white; and let thy head lack no ointment..” Ecclesiastes 9:8

There are few basic things that when they are taken care of, our lives will be in order.  Two of them are our garments and our heads. Physically speaking, the way you look is the way you will be addressed. This is also true to an extent spiritually. Your spiritual garment determines who you will attract while your head determines the authority you carry. We cause confusion in our lives when we put on garments to attract our arch-enemy, satan, despite the fact that we desire to have God in our lives. God’s best for us will always come in the midst of the enemy, so we cannot afford to have a dried head.

“And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him…… Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.” Zechariah 3:1-3

‘Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.” Psalms 23:5

Our garments must be white, while our heads must carry oil for us to position ourselves for all of God in this wild world. I will be sharing what we need to do to ensure this for the next few days. We must desire to keep our garments white and our heads oily. This may cause us to be distinct from the world and its ways but has both temporal and eternal benefits.

Prayer for today: Oh God, sanctify me and anointing me with the Holy Ghost in Jesus name.

Let God drive

“……. for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.” 2 Timothy 1:12

The way to scale through this world victoriously is to allow the Lord to do the driving of your life. Don’t be like many people who say that Jesus is their Lord and Savior, but neglect Him when they want to make decisions about their lives. The truth is that there will be different seasons and challenges to pass through, but the Lord sees all and is above all. If we trust Him enough to lead, we will always go through and come out with positive testimonies.

“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13

‘Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6

Beloved, do not have an alternative to God, that is how to allow Him to do the driving. Seek Him until you hear Him and you are conscious of His presence with you. Let Him guide you in all that you do. Be willing to commit all things into His hands because He cannot mismanage you and He is greater than any opposition that may come against you.

Prayer for today: Holy Spirit, carry me in Jesus name.

Deliverance 5

“Deliver Me from the sword, My precious life from the power of the dog.” Psalms 22:20 (NKJV)

You can engage the power of praise and prayer to enforce your deliverance. Prayer reinforced with praise is powerful enough to break yokes and to make the enemy to submit. God’s instruction to give praise or bible based prayers can be all you need to terminate stubborn yoke or limitations. You remember that the people of Israel only needed to shout to bring the wall of Jericho down.

“And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.” Acts 16:25-26

‘And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.” Psalms 50:15

As I close this teaching today, let it be settled in your mind that it is God’s will for you to experience deliverance and to live peacefully in this tempestuous world. It does not matter what you are going through you can call unto God and He will deliver you. You can praise God to your breakthrough. I am in agreement with you this day for your deliverance in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: O God, deliver me from all my trouble in Jesus name.

Deliverance 4

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:2 (NKJV)

All spiritual deliverance can only become a physical reality when there is a corresponding mental or mind deliverance. The truth you know, believe, and act on is a reflection of your mind. This is the determinant of your physical experience vis-a-vis the change of situation and your newness of life. It is possible to have experienced spiritual deliverance and yet not experience physical changes because of the state of the mind. You must allow your mind to conform to the word of God by spending time with the word.

“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:32

‘For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. “Eat and drink!” he says to you, But his heart is not with you.” Proverb 23:7

You need to have a winner mentality, a conqueror mentality, and a victor mentality based on the scriptures before you even have the physical reality of your victory over sin, sickness, poverty, and the power of darkness. The people of Israel already had deliverance in the spirit, God was backing them up, but they failed in their thinking. They thought they were grasshoppers compared to the enemy despite what God has said and done for them. They could not enter the reality of their deliverance. Beloved, check what you are hearing and reading if you want to have total deliverance.

Prayer for today: I claim all that the scriptures have written about me and the new covenant in Christ Jesus.

Deliverance 3

“Deliver Me from the sword, My precious life from the power of the dog.” Psalms 22:20 (NKJV)

The most important deliverance you will need to experience after salvation and deliverance from sin is the deliverance from the power of the dog. This is the deliverance from the wickedness that is very close to you. David prayed this prayer because he was thrown into the bush early in life. After he was anointed in his father’s house, Eliab spoke against him at the battle against the philistine. Saul ran after him for about 13 years. But, God delivered him.

“But thus says the Lord: “Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, And the prey of the terrible be delivered; For I will contend with him who contends with you, And I will save your children.” Isaiah 49:25

‘So they spoke to him, saying, “No, but we will tie you securely and deliver you into their hand; but we will surely not kill you.” And they bound him with two new ropes and brought him up from the rock.” Judges 15:13

The anointing of the Holy Ghost shall bring deliverance to you. Many great destinies today are suffering from the powers of household wickedness, household enemies, and household witches. The Bible refers to these as dogs. If you are passing through strange experiences particularly concerning prosperity and sound health, you may need to ask God to deliver you from the power of the dogs. May you experience your deliverance right now in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: O God, deliver me from the power of the dogs in Jesus name.

Deliverance 2

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,” Luke 4:18

Deliverance must be preached, believed, and received for the captives to be set free. This is one of the major purposes of the anointing. Jesus was anointed to preach deliverance to the captives. I wish the challenges that people go through are just natural then human strength will be enough to handle them. But no, the problems of men have satanic undertones. The good news is that deliverance is available in Jesus Christ.

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” Acts 10:38

‘And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?” Luke 13:16

It does not matter what the devil has done against you, you shall be set free in Jesus name. The truth is that Jesus in you is greater than the wickedness of this world. Connect to the wisdom and the power of God this morning and decree that all bondages be broken in your life in Jesus name. I don’t know what the devil has thrown at you, is it an addiction? Is it affliction? Whatever it may be, I decree your deliverance in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: O God, deliver me from all my afflictions in Jesus name.

Deliverance 1

“But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.” Matthew 15:26

Deliverance is the children’s bread. This statement implies that you cannot be in any form of bondage if you have received this bread. As a child of God, it is absurd for you to be held captive by any strongman or demonic situation. You must take the bread today and be free in Jesus name.

“And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.” Acts 12:7

‘Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron: Until the time that his word came: the word of the Lord tried him. The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free.” Psalms 105:18-20

Joseph was held bound until His word, the necessary bread came. Peter was kept in prison, until the word came as the appearance of an Angel. He received the bread, his chains fell off from his hands, the prison doors consequently opened on its own accord. For anyone reading this message this morning, receive the bread of life for total deliverance in Jesus name. I will share more on this for the rest of the week.

Prayer for today: O God, give me the bread of life for my total deliverance in Jesus name.

Increasing your faith capacity

“And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.” Luke 17:5

When faith is present, the result is guaranteed. Faith attracts God, doubt attracts the devil. It will always be unto you according to your faith. Your faith capacity is the determination of the manifestation of God in your life (Heb : 11:6).

Let me share with you four ways to increase your faith capacity

1.              Increase your word capacity. Romans 10:17 says, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

2.              Increase your persistence in place of prayer. Luke 18:7-8 says, “And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?”

3.               Do not stop declaring it until you see it. Mark 11:23 says, “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”

4.              Be bold to act on God’s word. Acts 3:6-7 says, “Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.  And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.”

May God increase your faith. May you be promoted to the next level by the power of God in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, increase my faith in Jesus name.

Dare to see

“And the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.” Genesis 13:14-15

Not all that your two eyes can see are all that are available to see. Dare to see beyond your nose and the limits of your physical eyes. Men of distinctions see with their third and fourth eyes, the inner eyes. As a result, they create new things, dare new height, and challenge the status scopes. Men that see are bold and confident.

“I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.” Habakkuk 2:1-2

‘And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking. After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.” Mark 8:24-25

If you are tired of your present level, you must dare to see. What you cannot see, you cannot possess. What you cannot see, you cannot conceive; what you cannot conceive you cannot deliver. You can only run accurately with a vision. When Gehazi could not see correctly, Elisha had to pray that God should open his eyes. “And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.” 2 Kings 6:17. The moment he saw what he could not see, his fear disappeared.

I ask God to open your eyes to see the invisible so that you can do the impossible in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: O God, open my eyes that I may see correctly in Jesus name.

The life’s questions 5

“But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.” 1 John 2:27

The answers to the questions of life are in the anointing.  If you are born again, you have received an anointing. This anointing is in you to teach you and to reveal to you the needed answers to your questions. Never neglect the anointing, learn to tune in to it. The anointing has a voice, the anointing is power. The anointing has the truth. You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free. Some of our life’s questions are issues with a demonic origin. The answer can only come through revelation and power. The anointing will give you these.

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” Acts 10:38

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.” Luke 4:18-19

If you are feeling inadequate in the anointing, spend time with God, and ask Him to anoint you. The anointing is your defense against all demonic manipulation that wants to give you life’s unanswered questions. The anointing is the answer. May you be anointed with the Holy Ghost and power in the name of Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, help me to walk in the anointing of the Holy Spirit in Jesus name.

The life’s questions 4

“in the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, understood from the Scriptures, according to the word of the Lord given to Jeremiah the prophet, that the desolation of Jerusalem would last seventy years” Daniel 9:2

The answers to the questions of life are in the book, the scriptures called the Bible.  I don’t know what questions you probably have right now concerning your life, but if you can search the scriptures you will have the answers. My prayer for you is that the scripture should be opened for you for access into the mystery of God. Everyone on earth despite the fact that we are billions of people is in the scriptures. Whatever level you right are now and how you can change your level is in the scripture. How you can turn things around is in the scriptures.

“Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.” Psalms 119:18

“And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest? And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.” Acts 8:30-31

When you open the bible, ask God to open your eyes to see the answers. Alternatively, you can ask God to send someone to help you or get help from your church if it is a bible believing church. We are in the day of technology, you can now access books and messages that can help gain the understand and have the answers you need. May you find answers today and always in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, give me answers to my life’s questions in Jesus name.

The life’s questions 3

“The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,” Ephesians 1:18

The answers to the questions of life will give understanding and knowledge for access to both the needed solution in the time of trouble and the blessings of God.  If you have found answers to your relationship with God and your purpose on earth, the next answer you need is about your relationship with people. Most likely, your relationship with God and your knowledge of yourself (purpose) will determine the people you will attract into your life and the people your life will reject. People are instruments in the hand of God to bless you while they are also instruments in the hand of the devil to be against you.

“Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.  And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them.” Luke 22:3

“Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul.” 1 Samuel 18:3

The question of whom you hang around is a life and death issue. As long as we are on earth, there will be one problem or the other to solve. If you are surrounded by the right people, you will always be on top of your challenges. It is good for your life to be surrounded by Jonathans and not Judases (Iscariot). You may need to find answers to the question about the purpose of the people in your life.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let my eyes of understanding be enlightened in Jesus name.

The life’s questions 2

“And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.” Acts 9:6

The unanswered question of what God wants us to do with our lives is the reason behind wasted and frustrated destinies. This is the question of purpose. If you don’t find answers to this question, you will abuse and misuse yourself. This is the reason why many are running after what should be following them. This is the reason why many have become instruments for the devil. You are not ordinary neither are you without values your present situation notwithstanding. You just must find answers to find personal expression on earth.

“And the Lord looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?” Judges 6:14

“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.” Revelation 4:11

The issues of fear, lack of confidence, inner sadness, low self-esteem, and wrong pursuit are tied to the question of purpose. You must find answers if you want to overcome them and be who God wants you to be. It is better to direct this question to God in prayer. He can guide you and make you receive the answer in the way you will understand Him.

Prayer for today: Oh God, reveal to me what you want me to do with my life in Jesus name.

The life’s questions 1

“Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?” Acts 2:37

Many of our challenges will be due to unanswered questions. An adage says that if your head is in support of you, it will direct your steps to the person who has answers to your life’s questions. Who and where do you turn to when you need answers to life’s questions? How aggressive are you to find answers? When the right questions are not asked and the right answers are not found, problems persist. Wisdom is profitable to direct.

“If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct.” Ecclesiastes 10:10

“And a certain man found him, and, behold, he was wandering in the field: and the man asked him, saying, What seekest thou.” Genesis 37:15

If you have unanswered questions, your priority is to seek God who has answers to all problems. He has promised that we will always find Him if we seek Him with an undivided heart (Jeremiah 29:13). The steps begin with inviting Jesus into your life to be the Lord of your life. The next step is receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit and a hunger after the written word, the bible. The third step is a direction to join a fellowship where the Spirit of God and the word of God are considered as utmost important. The last step is to learn the ability to be alone with God. May you find answers to the trouble of your life in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God let me have answers to all my challenges in Jesus name.

Build your resilience

“If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? and if in the land of peace, wherein thou trustedst, they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan?.” Jeremiah 12:5

Do not surrender your dreams to any demon whether small or big. Be ready to contend with both the men on foot and the men on horses. Be willing to go and grow above weariness. Look inward for God's deposit, look sideward for God-allocated helpers, and look upward for divine empowerment.  Be willing to cross the Jordan when it overflows and to go through the mountain no matter how wide or tall. You shall get there in Jesus name.

“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2

Position yourself for the acquisition of knowledge and impartation of grace. If your vision is worthwhile and your personality is important, you will surely be challenged. Make up your mind that you shall get to your destination and trust God all the way. It does not matter how things are looking now, God is working things out for you. You have an unbeatable combination with God, be resolute and build your resilience.

Prayer for today: Oh God give me the strength to cross the sea, subdue the mountains and to get to my destination in Jesus name.

Look up

“I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.” Psalms 121:1

Look up to God, help is coming. The direction of your look determines the direction of your seeing. What you see determines what you will have. Look up to God so that you can see and receive help from above. Look up to Jesus who is able to give you faith to conquer the storm of life. Stop looking down at the storm and the challenges that bring fear into your life.

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2

“But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.” Matthew 14:30

One of the few things I have learned in life is that when you look up to God, you receive faith to win no matter how strong the opposition or the contrary circumstances. However, when you look down at the storm you receive fear to fail. I decree you will not fail in Jesus name. To look up means to commit the situation unto God in prayer and to believe that He has taken care of it. I decree that you will not see the storm anymore in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I look up unto you oh God, let me receive timely help in Jesus name.

No more shame

“The Lord knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever. They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.” Psalm 37:18-19

Top on the list of most people’s concern is financial stability. Most people will want to stay on top of their financial needs, be able to pay their bills, and live in abundance. Unfortunately, many have failed in this aspect because of the prevailing circumstances in the world today. As a child of God, you don’t have to be put to shame in such a time like this. This is because God has promised that you shall not be ashamed in the evil time and even in the days of famine, you shall be satisfied.

“Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.” Matthew 17:27

“Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.  For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.” Jeremiah 17:7-8

Many will be swallowed by the menace of this season but you shall not n Jesus name. You are going to enjoy the promise of God to keep shame away from you by trusting in Him and listening to Him. People’s strength shall fail them. But, if you trust in God and seek Him with the whole of your heart, He will guide you into abundance is such a time like this. No matter how strong or weak you think you are, maintain your relationship with God who is stronger than all and beautiful for all situations. I see you experiencing a financial miracle this week in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, according to your word, I shall not be put to shame in Jesus name.

The future is better

“For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;” 2 Corinthians 4:17

Your future is better and more glorious but you must use your present to connect to it. The present may be nothing to talk about right now but it is still a proper investment of your present that will guarantee your glorious future. Do not dwell too much on the negative in this present. You need the investment of the gift of life given to you to connect to God, the season changer. Also, you must connect to your destiny helper and to the grace that God has put in you.

“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” Jeremiah 33:3

“Then said I, O Lord God, cease, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small.” Amos 7:5

Your present is subject to change, it is temporal. Your smallness will come to an end. Your struggle will come to an end. God is about to bring you into an experience of greatness you have never seen before. Pray that God should visit you. Pray that God should send helpers to you. Also, ask God to open your eyes to what He has deposited in you. Beloved, this is the time to focus on the glorious future and expect a change of season.

Prayer for today: Oh God arise let my dry season change to a wet and fruitful season in Jesus name.

This affliction must die

“What do ye imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.” Nahum 1:9

In the school of destiny, one may pass through affliction for a season. However, the season of the affliction must come to an end. Powers behind repeated or continuous affliction must be stopped. Every imagination against God and His plan for your life must be terminated. The season of breakthrough and refreshment must come. Suffering cannot and must not be forever.

“And it came to pass in process of time, that the king of Egypt died: and the children of Israel sighed by reason of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up unto God by reason of the bondage.  And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob..” Exodus 2:23-24

“But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.” 1 Peter 5:10

Beloved, you are not supposed to suffer forever. Even if your mistakes caused the affliction or there is a foundational power sustaining affliction in your life. I want to agree with you this morning that the affliction is over forever. The people of Israel were already spending overtime in affliction, it was supposed to end 30 years earlier. This was because they were comfortable with it and did not cry unto God. However, when they cried unto Him, He sent help to them. Help is coming to you right now in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God arise and terminate every affliction in my life in Jesus name.

Confidence boosters

“Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.” Acts 4:13

You need a level of confidence to confront oppositions and succeed in life no matter how talented you are. Confidence is an assurance that you can do what you want to do. Your confidence is boosted by the depth of knowledge you have and the kind of company you keep. Your confidence will be threatened by your past failures, derogatory comments of men, and the size of your goals. Your personal development is important and so also to whom you listen.

“And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.” Daniel 11:32

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:13

Do not leave any stone untouched in acquiring all the knowledge you need but above this, spend time with God and people who have faith in God. You cannot walk with God and be timid. Even the timid Peter became a confident Peter and the people concluded he had been with Jesus. If you know God and you are conscious of the strength He has given you, you will be confident that you cannot fail in the vision He has put in your heart. I see you going and growing higher in your endeavors in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, give me the strength and the grace that I need to be who you want me to be in Jesus name.

Call to Salvation: Lord Jesus, I believe in the forgiveness of sin and in the redemption from the power of darkness through your blood. I confess you as my Savior and Lord.  I invite you into my life to save my soul. Holy Spirit, come into my heart and make me what you want me to be. Thank you Lord for saving me in Jesus name.

When people look down on you….

“And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.” John 1:46

When people look down on you, don’t look down on yourself. No one will value you better than how you have valued yourself. When people say you cannot do it, surprise them by making it happen. Tell them to come and see. When people say you cannot amount to anything, let your results disappoint their comments. Beloved, go for the results that will shock the people that are looking down on you and make them celebrate the God that is in you.

“And Samuel said unto Jesse, Are here all thy children? And he said, There remaineth yet the youngest, and, behold, he keepeth the sheep. And Samuel said unto Jesse, Send and fetch him: for we will not sit down till he come hither.” 1 Samuel 16:11

“And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Matthew 4:19

Beloved, it is not about your look, it is in you. Let me quickly say this, you even look good to make it happen. Look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself that you are fearfully and wonderfully made. God is in you and He is with you. He can turn your weaknesses into strength. He can turn your disappointment into an appointed. But you must not look down on yourself. Jesse thought that David was not qualified for the anointing but God qualified him. The voice of men is not the voice of God. God has chosen you and He will make you.

Prayer for today: Oh God let my life disappoint the comments of my enemies in Jesus name.

Solving hard problems 5

“And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the Lord God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.” 1 Kings 17:1

What thing that is a reality just as breathing is to life, is problems. There are many troubles a man encounters in life (Job 14:1). Some are easy while some are hard. It is important for you to have a personal relationship with God who can solve all human problems. It is equally important for you to pray through your destiny. You must be equipped with the wisdom and the power to deal with any problem that may come your way.

“Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.” 1 Samuel 16:13

“And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow. And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.” 1 Chronicles 4:9-10

You cannot prevent problems from coming to you but you can be equipped to overcome them. If you would spend time regularly with God and ask Him to possess you, He will come into you and empower you. David was anointed and he was able to crush all the challenges that came his way. Jabesh came from a negative position with respect to destiny. He was cursed at birth. He went to God and God changed his story. May you experience God in every area of your life in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God give me the grace to tarry in your presence for a breakthrough in my destiny in Jesus name.
