Faith indicators

“I will show you my faith by my work” James 1:18
“When Jesus saw their faith, he said, “Friend, your sins are forgiven.”” Luke 5:17

Your faith is indicated by what you do and what you say. Desperate faith provokes desperate actions. Active faith provokes active declarations. Violent faith provokes violent prayers.

“And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four.  And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.” Mark 2:3-4
“And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.” Numbers 13:30

“And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.” Mark 10:47

What are you going to do about what God told you? Declare it, pray it through and start doing something about it.

I see your faith getting results in Jesus name

Prayer for today: O God, do what only you can do in my life in Jesus name.

Divine rescue

“Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O Lord God of truth.” Psalms 31:5

There is a divine arrangement to rescue you from all troubles. Let God be God in your life.
God uses man to bless man but He will never share His glory with any man. Never exchange the place of God in your life for any man. You will always experience divine recue if you trust in the Lord. Learn to turn to the Lord first and to wait on Him until your deliverance comes. But more importantly learn to always abide in His presence whether there is trouble or not.

“They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.” Psalms 125:1
“Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.” Psalms 34:19

Whether there is a red sea to be parted or a Jericho wall to be subdued, God is able. Even, if there is famine to be conquered or a failure situation to be turned around, God is able. Yes whether a Lion is roaring against you or a goliath is threatening you, God is able. Never doubt God no matter how terrible your situation look. Simply ask God to recue you and believe that He has heard you based on His promises.

I see a glorious week ahead of you, just trust Him that is able to rescue you at all times.

Prayer for today: O Lord, in you do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in your righteousness in your Holy name.

If Jezebel had been a Christian…..

“Now therefore send, and gather to me all Israel unto mount Carmel, and the prophets of Baal four hundred and fifty, and the prophets of the groves four hundred, which eat at Jezebel's table.” 1 kings 18:19

You remember Jezebel, the wife of King Ahab? Jezebel was totally sold out to Baal and the goddess Asherah. She personally sponsored 450 prophets of Baal and 400 prophets of the goddess Asherah. She influenced king Ahab to do evil and the entire land of Israel to serve Baal and the goddess Asherah.  She was totally committed to the gods she believed in and used her influence and position to spread the worship of the gods in the land of Israel.

If Jezebel had been a Christian, she would have sponsored the Gospel and ensured that the entire people of Israel served God. She would have influenced King Ahab to serve God and ensure that the Prophets of God were sponsored to do what God had called them to do. The land would have been blessed by God as a result of her commitment to God and His worship.

There are two important messages from this. The first is that if you are a Christian, where is the fruit of your commitment? Coming to church is a problem to some so called Christians not to talk of getting involved in the work of God. Every other thing is important to them except the Gospel. Jezebel is more important to her gods than many Christians to the living God. The second is if the people in power do not know the Gospel they will influence the Nation to serve the devil. Most of the things that are happening in our Nations today are as a result of people in leadership who are committed to satan rather than God.

Two things are important. First, review your Christianity and decide to be involved in the Gospel. Second, pray for our nations that the power of evil be broken over the people in leadership.

May the power of God bring revival to His church in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Let the earth be filled with the glory of God as water covers the sea in Jesus name.

Conquering Your Fear

“I have killed lions and bears, and I will do the same to this heathen Philistine, who has defied the army of the living God.” 1Samuel 17:36(GNB)

When you conquer the fear within, you conquer the challenge without. Someone said FEAR is Fake Evidence Appearing Real. The strength of your fear is the strength you give it.

Let me share with you five anchors to conquer the fear within.
1. Your testimony: if God has helped you to kill a Lion before, He can help you to kill a Goliath now. The higher challenge is a sign that you have graduated. The testimony of yesterday came to establish your confidence to win against the challenges of today.
2. God’s promises: God has promised not to leave you or forsake you and His promises can never fail. So you are not alone.
3. Other People’s testimonies: God is not a respecter of person, what He does for others, He will do for you. Someone somewhere has been helped by God to conquer this same kind of challenge, God will also help you.
4. Thanksgiving: Maintain a thanksgiving attitude at all times. If you are praiseful you cannot be a prey.
5. Face the challenge: when you face your fear it will phase out. The fear you are not willing to confront, you cannot conquer. It is more risky not to take risk. Just as David moved to confront Goliath, move to confront your fear.1Sam 17:48

If you are reading this message and have not given your life to Christ, I encourage you to repent from your sin and accept Jesus as your Savior and Lord. He will give you a new life.

You are more than conquerors says the Lord.

Prayer for today: I break the grip of fear over my life in Jesus name.

Be desperate for God

“Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.” Psalms 51:11-12

You cannot find God and miss it in life. If you find God, your weakness shall turn to strength. Your defeat shall turn to victory. Your story shall turn to glory. God has manifested Himself to us through the Word became Flesh, Jesus Christ His son, and the Holy Spirit. David knew that he was nothing without God and cried that he might remained in God’s presence and full of His spirit.

“And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest. And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence.” Exodus 33:14-15.
“And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him,” Acts 7:9

Your guarantee of rest in this stormy world is God’s presence, be desperate for Him. It does not matter what any man does against you, if God is with you, everything will turn to good for you. If the governor gave you an appointment, won’t you cancel other appointments to attend to Him? Make an appointment with God a priority, daily in your life.

May the presence of God abide with you always in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Do not cast me away from your presence and neither take your Holy Spirit from me Oh God in Jesus name.

Connecting to the supernatural 4

“And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.” Luke 24:49

You can connect to the supernatural by spending time with God daily and consistently. God is the source of true supernatural. When you spend time with Him, He will anoint you; put His grace, wisdom and power upon you for the supernatural.

“And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the Lord God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.” 1 kings 17:1.
“Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.” Acts 4:13

Beloved, if you make spending time with God a priority, you will definitely walk in the supernatural. When you do this, you must keep all the noise away: the phones, the people. You must be alone with Him. Elijah came out from God’s presence to decide what happened in Israel. Even the religious leaders could testify that Peter and others walked in power because they had been with Jesus.

May you be disciplined to spend enough time with God daily in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God anoint me to walk in the supernatural daily in Jesus name.

Connecting to the supernatural 3

“And when the sons of the prophets which were to view at Jericho saw him, they said, The spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha. And they came to meet him, and bowed themselves to the ground before him.” John 10:34-35

You can also connect to the supernatural by being mentored by a man who knows how and walks in the supernatural. The spirit is transferrable. Elisha got the double portion of Elijah’s spirit. This became obvious to the sons of the prophet because they saw him divided Jordan by the power of God. They concluded that the spirit of Elijah had rested on him.

“And the Lord came down in a cloud, and spake unto him, and took of the spirit that was upon him, and gave it unto the seventy elders: and it came to pass, that, when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, and did not cease.” Numbers 11:25.
“And the Lord said unto Moses, Take thee Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the spirit, and lay thine hand upon him;” Numbers 27:18

If you follow a man upon whom is God’s Spirit faithfully, you can connect to the same spirit of the supernatural. This can be done by serving the man whole-heartedly. It can also be done by listening to his messages over and over again and sowing into his life. This is also possible by the man laying his hands on you but your spirit must connect with him first. You cannot talk negatively about a man or disobey him and expect to connect with his spirit.

May God give you the wisdom to connect to the supernatural in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God connect me to the supernatural in Jesus name.

Connecting to the supernatural 2

“Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;” John 10:34-35

When the word of God come to you, it connects you to the supernatural. The word of God empowers you to behave as God. When you hear God and run with the word, you obtain supernatural results. In all your getting, get a word from God.

“And the Lord said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward: But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.” Exodus 14:15-16.
“For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve, Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.” Acts 27:23-24

Moses was able to divide the red sea because God told him what to do and he did it. Paul and others escaped death on the sea because the angel of God told him that no one would lose his life.

May God grant you access into the mystery of His word in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Let the word of God come to me in Jesus name.

Connecting to the supernatural 1

“And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.” Luke 1:36

The Holy Spirit upon your life is your access to the supernatural. The Holy Spirit empowers, anoints, enables and transforms people. The Holy Spirit makes the impossible possible. The Holy Spirit can turn your weakness into strength. When the Holy Spirit comes upon you and the power of God overshadows you, your results will be supernatural.

“And the Spirit of the Lord will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man.” 1 Samuel 10:6.
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.” Luke 4:18

Mary the virgin was visited by an Angel who told her that she would conceive. She asked the Angel how that could happen when she had not known any man. The Angel of God told her that the Holy Spirit would come upon her and made it possible. Saul was told that he would be turned into another man when the Spirit of God comes upon Him. Jesus did all the supernatural work because He was empowered by the Holy Spirit.

May you receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Let the Holy Spirit come upon me and let the power of the most High overshadow me in Jesus name.

How to be strong in time of weakness!

“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 Cor 12:9

Whenever you sense weakness, quickly connect to His grace.

Beloved, we are not strong at all times and in everything, God must be God, and man must be man. But God’s ability is available in man through grace. God’s grace is available to the humble. You can actually appear strong all the time even at the time of your weakness if you understand how to connect to the grace of God.

“But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.” James 4:6
“Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” 1 Peter 5:6-7

Perhaps you are in a period of weakness right now. What is confronting you is beyond you. Simply ask God to help you. Tell Him to give you grace and to take over from you. He cares so much for you and He will give you grace and help you.

You don’t have to be a superman to kill a Goliath, move a mountain or quench the mouth of a Lion. You only need to be an ordinary man who carries within himself, the Super God.

May you receive grace in this resurrection week in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Give me your grace Oh God for it is sufficient for me, in Jesus name.

Deceived by sight?

“And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do? And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.” 2 Kings 6:15-17

Beloved the fact that there is no rain does not mean that there would not be water. The fact that there is the red sea ahead does not mean that there would not be a way. The fact that you hit a wall does not mean that you cannot go forward. Physical sights deceive, spiritual sights deliver. What your physical eyes can see is not all that is available to see. The fact that it is a fire does not mean it has to burn. The fact that it is a Lion does not mean it has to eat flesh. When God happens to any situation, the situation does His will. May God happen to every situation harassing your life. May you see what God is seeing and become what God wants you to be in Jesus name.

A lot of us are afraid for nothing. We are worried for a situation that God has taken care of.  I sometimes think about what most of us suggest about God. Do you suggest that God will forget you, leave you to be put to shame or to be devoured by the enemy? Then you don’t know Him. Don’t be carried away by the size of the enemy you can see with your physical eyes; be confident in the size of God you can only see with your spiritual sight!

“Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.” Isaiah 49:16

Beloved, keep on believing God; keep on serving God, keep on making bold declarations, keep on praying, keep on sowing your seed, the mountain you are seeing will soon become a plain land.

Prayer for today: O God open my eyes to see the victory that you have given me in Jesus name.

Good but not God (2)

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” 2 Timothy 4:3-4

Beware of voices that sound good but are not godly. Voices are significant in our destinies. Voices include motivation, information, encouragement and correction. Each of the voices has its own specific purpose in our lives particularly when they are not only to make us feel good but also godly.

“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:32
“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.” 1 John 4:1.
“But Amnon had a friend, whose name was Jonadab, the son of Shimeah David's brother: and Jonadab was a very subtil man.” 2 Samuel 13:3.

You can always hear what you want to hear in this present world. The voices that will come to you depend on the preparation of your heart. If you desire fables and ungodly voices that will make you feel good you will always receive them. If you listen to a subtle man he will teach you subtlety and if you listen to a false prophet he will teach you falsehood. If you receive the truth you will be empowered to fulfil your destiny. The people that surround you will determine the voices around you.

May you receive the voice that will make you godly and fulfilled in life in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Help me oh God to choose to listen to the right voices for my destiny in Jesus name.

Good but not God (1)

“For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.” Romans 8:6

Beware of actions that feel good but are not godly. Check if the action will please God or it will please your flesh only. Many troubles could be avoided if we were spirit controlled rather than flesh controlled. Your knowledge of the scripture will help you to discern whether your action is godly or it only feels good.

“And when they came to Nachon's threshingfloor, Uzzah put forth his hand to the ark of God, and took hold of it; for the oxen shook it.  And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Uzzah; and God smote him there for his error; and there he died by the ark of God.” 2 Samuel 6:6-7
“And Samuel said, What hast thou done? And Saul said, Because I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that thou camest not within the days appointed, and that the Philistines gathered themselves together at Michmash; Therefore said I, The Philistines will come down now upon me to Gilgal, and I have not made supplication unto the Lord: I forced myself therefore, and offered a burnt offering.” 1 Samuel 13:11-12.

It felt good to stop the ark of God from falling, but was it godly to touch the ark for any reason? Uzzah was trying to help stop the ark from falling but he was breaking a law of God. He died doing what was supposed to be good. Saul offered the sacrifice that Samuel was supposed to do. He had a justification for doing it. The people were scattered, the enemies were coming. But was he supposed to do it? It felt good but it was not godly. Joseph refused to sleep with his master’s wife. He said, “how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” It might felt good but it was not godly so he refused. God took him to his destination. Don’t mortgage your destiny because it feels good when you know that it is not godly.

May you submit to God in every situation you find yourself in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Lord Jesus, help me to live a life that is pleasing unto you in your Holy name.

Look unto Jesus (3)

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2

When you look unto Jesus, you will learn both patience and endurance in faith, and get excited until your faith delivers. Jesus taught us that faith would always deliver if we are willing to be patient and even endure hardship when necessary. Jesus went through the pain of the cross and its shame so that the will of God could be done and the redemption of mankind could be secured.

“That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” Hebrews 6:12
“I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?” Luke 18:8.

Beloved, keep your eyes on Jesus no matter what you are going through. If you do, the situation shall change and your joy shall be full. Jesus showed us that we might pass through situations that are not comfortable but victory is guaranteed. Be persistent in prayer and in faith. Stay positive until you get results.

May your situation change for good. May you keep your eyes on Jesus in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Lord Jesus, hold my hand and take me to my expected destination in your Holy name.

Look unto Jesus (2)

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2

You cannot focus your eyes on Jesus and not have faith. You cannot have faith and not live. Jesus is the incentive for our faith and He is the one who helps us to bring our faith to maturity. If you study the four gospel, you will have a revelation of the person of Jesus and your faith shall be built.

“For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.” Romans 1:17
“And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.” Matthew 14:29-30

If you keep your eyes on your mountain, you will doubt that it can be moved. If you keep of your eyes on Jesus, you will have faith that the mountain shall move. Jesus told Peter to come to Him walking on water. Peter did. As long as his eyes were on Jesus, he was walking on water. But when he shifted his eyes from Jesus to the boisterous wind, he became afraid and started sinking. You must keep your eyes on Jesus for you to keep walking by faith.

May you keep your eyes on Jesus. May you walk on the water troubling your life. May your mountain move in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God give me a personal revelation of Jesus and let me keep on living by faith in Jesus name.

Look unto Jesus (1)

“And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.” John 3:14-15

God’s solution to man’s problem is simple and many times looks stupid but perfect and effective. He has chosen the foolish things of this word to shame the wise.  All you have to do is to simply believe and obey and you will experience the supernatural power of God.

In numbers 21 when the people of Israel were been bitten by the fiery serpents, God gave Moses the solution to their poisons. He must make a brazen serpent and whosoever shall look unto it shall be saved. The solution looked so stupid that many still died from the bites. How would you get killed from a poison that you could escape simply by looking? Beloved Jesus is still the solution to the poison of the enemy in our lives today. The poison of wickedness, hatred, destruction, and death that satan has sown into our lives can only be dealt with by simply looking at Jesus. To look at Jesus is to simply to trust and obey Him with your life. There must be no element of doubt and neither should there be half obedience. He demands total obedience and absolute trust in Him.

May you trust Jesus with your life and obey Him in all things. May you experience deliverance from the wickedness of this world in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God I surrender my life unto you, be at work in all areas of my life in Jesus name.

Understanding reward

“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” Galatians 6:7

Anything you do to others has become part of your life forever because reward is a law just as harvest is a law. You may be forgiven for any act of wickedness if you repent, but forgiveness does not cancel reward. You will always be rewarded. So before you do any kind of evil to any man for any reason, think about the fact that it will still come back to you. Someone will do it back to you in a greater dimension because it is an harvest which is also a reward.

“While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.” Genesis 8:22
“For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.” Mathew 7:2.

You should not revenge for any reason. Whatever you do whether good or evil causes a chain of events which will affect many including your coming generation and people around you. This is because it is a seed that guarantees harvest. Every harvest is a reward of a seed sown. Beloved, don’t break the law to do evil. Don’t hate or attack your neighbor for any reason. Don’t do evil because you want to make money, the money will not be able to handle the reward. Let your actions be motivated by love not by hatred. God moves in an atmosphere of love while satan takes hold of people who are driven by hatred.

May you consciously always respond in love and not in hatred in Jesus name. May you permit good in your life and not evil in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God let your light shine upon me so that I will always respond to situations in the light of your word in Jesus name.

Understanding vengeance

“Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.” Romans 12:19

Beloved, never try to punish anyone who does wrong to you. Vengeance is not part of your assignment. Vengeance is totally God’s. Allow God to take care of it because if you do by yourself you will be starting a chain of events whose end you may not know. Tomorrow I will share with you about “understanding reward” so that you can understand this chain of events I am talking about. You may be angry, but you cannot revenge (Romans 12:19, Eph 4:26-27)

“Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.” Romans 12:21
“Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.” Mathew 7:21.

Take a measure to prevent further occurrence but never revenge on any evil done against you. Some issues can be so complicated that you may need to seek God’s instructions and directions or Godly counsel to handle them. Always remember that you must kill evil with good and you must not become a perpetrator of evil no matter what anyone has done against you. Never change your good way no matter the situation you find yourself. Gal 6:9 says, “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

May God give you grace to be in control of the situation in the time of adversity. May your adversary be subdued before you. May you walk in the goodness of God at all time in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God give me grace to surrender my painful situations unto you in Jesus name.

Slain to Protect the World

“Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.” Gen 3:21.

Sin brings nakedness. Sin causes loss of glory. Sin brings reproach. The solution to sin is the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus was slain to provide a covering for the nakedness of man and to restore the glory of God.

Now this truth has not changed. Modernity or civilization cannot change it. The emergence of new religions cannot change it. It becomes the responsibility of all Christians to tell the world this good news. We must do all within our God given power for the world to have the Gospel.

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” Romans 1:16
“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” John 1:12

Beloved, should that employee in your office or the neighbor of yours die in sin, the person is doomed forever. But if you tell him about the Gospel and he receives it, he will be saved.

I ask that passion for souls be revived in the heart of every Christian in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: Oh God baptize me with passion for soul winning in Jesus name.

Dealing with the spirit of failure (7)

“Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:  That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” Galatians 3:13-14

When failure becomes a personality, you must deal with it as such. You must invoke the finished work of Jesus Christ and curse failure to die in your life. Some failures are generational; some are ancestral while some are as a result of an enchantment. Such must be spoken against in the name of Jesus with the boldness and consciousness of the newness of life we have received in Jesus Christ.

“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” John 1:14
“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” Mark 11:23
“And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith the Lord, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren land.” 2 kings 2:21

Failures are curses became flesh. Successes are blessings became flesh. You may need to decree that failure should die and success should live in order to put an end to the operation of this wicked spirit in your life.

I pronounce you blessed to succeed in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: I cast the spirit of failure out of my life and I invite the spirit of success into my life in Jesus name.

Dealing with the spirit of failure (6)

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua 1:8

Hear the word, speak the word and do the word. That is the key to deal with and subdue failure in your life. Actions based on the truth you have received will turn the situation of failure to success at all times.
Your though must align with His thought. You actions must align with His instructions for your life.

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.” Isaiah 55:8
“But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the Lord his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper.” 2 Kings 5:11

Never reject the thought of God for your life if you want to deal with failure. Naaman was going to miss God because His though was not in agreement with God’s thought. Peter said in Luke 5:5, “And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.” Psalms 1:2-3 says, “But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”

May you hear God promptly and clearly. May you know what to do in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: Oh God give me clear instructions to make me a success in Jesus name.

Dealing with the spirit of failure (5)

“And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live. And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm.” Acts 28:4-5

Never confuse a passage with a destination. You may experience failure for a season for any reason, just shake it off and keep on going. If you don’t give up the season of failure will not last. Sometimes, the passage to success is temporary failure. Unfortunately, people have tendency to measure you by what you are going through. However, don’t worry about that, they always easily change their mind when they see results.

Paul was gathering sticks to make fire to warm himself after the ordeal of sea storms. Suddenly a venomous beast hanged on his hand but he shook it off and kept on going. The people thought he was a wicked man and were expecting him to fall down and die. However, when they saw that he did not die they changed their mind and concluded he was a god. Beloved I see your story changing in Jesus name. I see your people celebrating you where you have been rejected.

“Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god.” Acts 28:6
“When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.” Psalms 126:1

Your failure shall turn to success in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: Oh God, let the season of failure come to an end and let the season of success begin in my life in Jesus name.

Dealing with the spirit of failure (4)

“Therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies, but turned their backs before their enemies, because they were accursed: neither will I be with you any more, except ye destroy the accursed from among you.” Joshua 7:12

God is not an author of failure. Failure is not your portion. God’s presence in your life shall cause the death of the spirit of failure. If there be anything that attracts the spirit of failure, deal with it. Deal with laziness, distraction, ignorance, unforgiveness, sin not repented of, unbelief and fear.

In our test this morning, the children of Israel attracted failure into their midst by allowing accursed things. God said He would not be with them except they destroy the accursed things. What is that thing that is resisting God in your life? Put them away. The presence of God in your life will terminate the works of the devil and give you victory over failure.

“There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” Genesis 39:9
“Neither give place to the devil.” Ephesians 4:27

May the presence of God not depart from you in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: Oh God let your presence overshadow my life and let the yoke of failure be destroyed in Jesus name.

Dealing with the spirit of failure (3)

“Desire without knowledge is not good, and whoever makes haste with his feet misses his way.” Prov 19:2 (ESV)

Be hungry, be passionate, be aggressive, have strong desire to succeed but be smart too if you really want to deal with the spirit of failure. If you are passionate with sound knowledge, God will help you to succeed. Zeal without knowledge is not good; it makes a man to miss the mark.

“For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. For, being ignorant of the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own, they did not submit to God's righteousness.” Romans 10:2-3 (ESV)
“And the king said, Is the young man Absalom safe? And Ahimaaz answered, When Joab sent the king's servant, and me thy servant, I saw a great tumult, but I knew not what it was. And the king said unto him, Turn aside, and stand here. And he turned aside, and stood still.” 2 Samuel 18:29-30

A man with energy but without knowledge is not needed. Ahimaaaz had a lot of energy, he actually outran the guy who had the information. He wanted to give the king results too but he was not having the needed knowledge. He was asked to step aside. Beloved let the hunger to succeed drive you to feeding on the right information that will help you succeed. Mathew 4:4 says, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”

May you be passionate with knowledge in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: Oh God arise let your light shine on my path in Jesus name.
