“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for
the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is
set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2
You cannot focus your eyes on Jesus
and not have faith. You cannot have faith and not live. Jesus is the incentive
for our faith and He is the one who helps us to bring our faith to maturity. If
you study the four gospel , you will have a revelation of the person of Jesus
and your faith shall be built.
“For therein is the righteousness
of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by
faith.” Romans 1:17
“And he said, Come. And when Peter
was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when
he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried,
saying, Lord, save me.” Matthew 14:29-30
If you keep your eyes on your
mountain, you will doubt that it can be moved. If you keep of your eyes on
Jesus, you will have faith that the mountain shall move. Jesus told Peter to
come to Him walking on water. Peter did. As long as his eyes were on Jesus, he
was walking on water. But when he shifted his eyes from Jesus to the boisterous
wind, he became afraid and started sinking. You must keep your eyes on Jesus
for you to keep walking by faith.
May you keep your eyes on Jesus.
May you walk on the water troubling your life. May your mountain move in Jesus
name.
Prayer
for today: Oh God give me a personal revelation of Jesus and let me
keep on living by faith in Jesus name.
