Dealing with the spirit of failure (5)

“And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live. And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm.” Acts 28:4-5

Never confuse a passage with a destination. You may experience failure for a season for any reason, just shake it off and keep on going. If you don’t give up the season of failure will not last. Sometimes, the passage to success is temporary failure. Unfortunately, people have tendency to measure you by what you are going through. However, don’t worry about that, they always easily change their mind when they see results.

Paul was gathering sticks to make fire to warm himself after the ordeal of sea storms. Suddenly a venomous beast hanged on his hand but he shook it off and kept on going. The people thought he was a wicked man and were expecting him to fall down and die. However, when they saw that he did not die they changed their mind and concluded he was a god. Beloved I see your story changing in Jesus name. I see your people celebrating you where you have been rejected.

“Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god.” Acts 28:6
“When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.” Psalms 126:1

Your failure shall turn to success in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: Oh God, let the season of failure come to an end and let the season of success begin in my life in Jesus name.
