Making this December the best

“And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.” John 2:10

The story of the miracle at the marriage of Cana of Galilee is a very familiar story. Jesus was in at the wedding with His disciples. His mother was there too. Then the wine finished and Jesus’ mother approached him.  Jesus told them what to do.  When they did it, the water became wine. When the ruler of the feast tasted it, he was surprised. He said the best wine had come at the last hour. In this last month, God will replace your finished wine with the best wine in Jesus name.

There are few things that I want us to learn from this story.
The first is the fact that the presence of Jesus alone will not change the course of things. He has to be approached or brought in. Yes, the wine had to finish because people were drinking it. The fact that Jesus was present did not prevent the wine from finishing. Just like the story in Mark 4, there was a storm despite the fact that Jesus was in the boat. But when His attention was called into the matter, He spoke to stop the storm. Learn to get Jesus into the situations that are not in order in your life. Learn to talk to Him about what you even consider small in your life. He is willing to reverse the irreversible, do the impossible and change your situation.
The second is that it does not matter the hour if there is a word, there will be an opportunity to experience a miracle. The word may come as a command or as an instruction or even as a blessing. God’s manifestation in this world is through His word and His Spirit.
“He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.” Psalms 107:20
The third is that the manifestation of God in your life depends on your response to His word.
“For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.” Hebrews 4:2
To enjoy the miracle of God, you only have to believe and act on His word.  The best wine came not because it was the last hour but because they did the word.
The fourth is that the least of God is better than the best of men. You have time for every other thing except for God. You can give to any other cause but not God’s. You depend so much on your strength and you think that is what has been working for you. You are really missing on what God can do for a submissive and obedient child of His. Walking in God’s grace is far better than merely surviving on man’s strength.
May you receive an instruction from the Lord. May you trust and obey Him. May you experience the best of this year in this last month in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: Oh God let your good days break on me in Jesus name.

You need this wisdom!

“And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands?” Mark 6:2

Wisdom is the principal thing in this life. When you operate with God-given wisdom, your results will be mighty works. When you have access to God-given wisdom you will know what to do at any time in any situation you find yourself.  You cannot be beaten by the kingdom of darkness and its power, when you operate with God-given wisdom. This wisdom will promote you and put you above the people that operate with the wisdom of this world.

“There is a man in thy kingdom, in whom is the spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of thy father light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, was found in him; whom the king Nebuchadnezzar thy father, the king, I say, thy father, made master of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers;” Daniel 5:11
“And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is? And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art:” Genesis 41:38-39

Jesus did mighty works by this wisdom. Daniel became the head of the magicians and astrologers by this wisdom. Joseph was promoted from being a prisoner to becoming a prime minister by this wisdom. They all  had access to this wisdom because they had in them the Holy Spirit. They had this wisdom because God showed them something. Beloved as a Christian, you must ask God for access into this wisdom which only comes by the indwelling Spirit of God in you.
May you be full of the Holy Ghost and the wisdom of God in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: O God grant me access into your supernatural wisdom for unusual results in Jesus name.

You need this power!

“And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.” Luke 24:49

Power makes things work. The promises of God, the word of God and victorious Christian lives are all enforced by the power of the Holy Ghost. Anybody can speak, but not everyone speaks with power. As a Christian you are expected to speak and to walk in power. The presence of God in the lives of believers always generates power.

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” Acts 10:38
“And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:” 1 Cor 2:4

The release of the power of the Holy Ghost upon a believer is activated by holy desperacy. This kind of desperacy will draw you into being alone with God despite your tight schedules. The power of the Holy is as real today as it was in the bible time. But a lot of things are competing for our time to seek God for this most important experience in our Christian lives. Beloved, you need the power of the Holy Ghost in order for your Christian life to find expression in this world today.
May you carry the power of God in your life in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: O God anoint me with the Holy Ghost and with power in Jesus name.

Self-esteem

“But the Lord said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.” Jeremiah 1:7

How do you see yourself? You need to have a correct perspective of yourself in order to execute your God’s given assignments. God sees you as His image. If God cannot fail, you cannot fail. If God cannot be defeated, you cannot be defeated. If all things are possible with God, all things are possible with you. Never doubt your God’s given ability and grace.

“Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.” Joshua 1:6
“And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him, and said unto him, The Lord is with thee, thou mighty man of valour.” Judges 6:12

Your past does not matter; God has a glorious future for you. I discovered from the scriptures that God always made sure that the man He wanted to use had the right perspective of himself. He told Joshua to be strong and courageous. He told a timid Gideon that he was a man of valor. Your situation does not determine who you are and what you can do. You have what it takes to turn the situation around inside you. God sees you as a co-creator with him, a winner, and a success. Do not see yourself less than the way God sees you.
I see you becoming what God wants you to be in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: O God help me to see myself the way you see me in Jesus name.

Let Him take away your burden

And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.” Isaiah 10:27

Whatever burden you have, I have good news for you, there is a personality who is willing to remove the burden. He is a trusted burden removal.

Three big Nations came against Jehoshaphat and Israel in 2 Chronicles 20, God said to them, “don’t worry about it, you would not need to fight, I am taking over.” When Moses wanted to cry to Him in Exodus 14, He said to him, “you don’t need to cry to me just stretch the rod in your hand and part the sea.” He only had to take the hand of Peter in Mathew 14 for both of them to walk on water despite the fact that the wind was still boisterous. Trust Him with your burden, whatever it is, He will take it away.

Hear what He is saying to you:
“Cast your burden on the Lord, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.” Psalm 55:2
casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7
“For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’” Isaiah 41:13
“Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?” Mathew 6:25
“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” Mathew 11:28-29

As you go to church this morning, talk to Him about your situation and then stop worrying about it. Give Him praise believing that He is in control. Do whatever He tells you to do.
Your burdens are lifted from your shoulder in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, I believe you care for me, remove these burdens from my shoulder by the anointing in Jesus name.

Breakthrough

“And the three mighty men BRAKE THROUGH the host of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well of Bethlehem, that was by the gate, and took it, and brought it to David: nevertheless he would not drink thereof, but poured it out unto the Lord.” 2 Samuel 23:16 (KJV)

Any time the word breakthrough was mentioned in the bible, a major obstacle had been overcome. Beloved, if you facing a major or a minor obstacle in your progress, I decree a breakthrough testimony in Jesus name. Mark 2:4 says, “And when they could not come near Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was. So when they had BROKEN THROUGH, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying.” Mark 2:4 (NKJV)

Some barriers are like the red sea and the Jericho walls. You need divine intervention and instructions to break through such. As such, faith in God, prayer of faith, sensitivity to God’s voice, prophetic declaration, prayer of agreement and sacrificial offering are necessary instruments to invoke the power of God and get through them.

Some breakthroughs are like an harvest, they only come as a result of consistently and persistently doing something. In such case, you must not give up but set your eyes on the prize until you get there. If you are in such situation may you be helped by God to get through in Jesus name.

I see you breaking through all barriers, physical and spiritual, in Jesus name. I see a greater and better testimony in your life as this year is rounding off in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: Barriers on my way, submit your power in Jesus name.

Repairing the broken hedge

“He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him.” Ecclesiastes 10:8
Beloved, you are covered as child of God, there is a hedge around you that protects you from satanic (serpent) attacks (Job 1:10) Unless the hedge is broken you are not vulnerable. There are four major things that can break the hedge: fear, unbelief, un-forgiveness and unrepentance. You must watch out for these in your life. If the hedge is broken, you must do four things to repair the broken hedge.
1.           Forgive whosoever has offended you. Mathew 6:12 says, “And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.”
2.           Repent and confess any known sin. 1 John 1:9,” If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
3.           Deal with any doubt of God in your life. Ask God to kill doubt in your life and help you to believe. Mark 9:24 says, “And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.”
4.           Deal with any fear in your life. Cry unto God if you are afraid of anything. Mathew 14:30 say, “But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.”
May the broken hedge in your life be repaired. May you be protected against all evil as the year is running to an end.
Prayer for today: Oh God let the broken hedge be repaired in my life in Jesus name.

Understanding times and seasons

“Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.” John 2:4

Although we all have the same calendar times and seasons, individual times and seasons are different. That is why you cannot compare yourself with another person, if you are wise. Even Jesus was not a miracle worker at all times and seasons, He had to wait for His own time of manifestation. When a man’s time comes, he gets results without stress. It is dangerous to be against a man whose time has come. Life is exciting when you know that it will soon be your turn for glory and manifestation.

“So the child grew and became strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his manifestation to Israel.” Luke 1:80 (NKJV)
“Until the time that his word came: the word of the Lord tried him. The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free.” Psalm 105:19-20

There are certain breakthrough you cannot have until certain time and season come no matter how good you are. Don’t allow frustration in your life because someone else is in his season and he is not even as good as you are. Your season shall come. There are certain trouble that will not go until it is time no matter how prayerful you are.  However, it is important for you to keep on praying, keep on developing yourself, keep on doing the good work because when your time will come it will be like an harvest. Gal 6:7 says, “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

Beloved, get excited you are the next in line for breakthrough manifestation in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: Oh God give me an understating of my times and seasons, and let your glory manifest in me in Jesus name.

Time factor

“Until the time that his word came: the word of the Lord tried him. The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free.” Psalm 105:19-20

Time is a major factor in destiny, even an instant nodule takes few minutes. A breakthrough in destiny is a process and it takes time. Even every trouble is a process, when the process is completed, the trouble must expire. The bible talked about the process of time and the fullness of time.

“And it came to pass in PROCESS OF TIME, that the king of Egypt died: and the children of Israel sighed by reason of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up unto God by reason of the bondage.” Exodus 2:23
“But when the FULNESS OF THE TIME was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,” Galatians 4:4

When the process of time is completed for anything, the time turns to completion of time then you get results from the process or you get a breakthrough in life and destiny. Be encouraged that your challenges will not last forever; it will soon expire. Be encouraged that your efforts will not go unrewarded forever; breakthrough will soon come. How do you respond to this message? keep on doing what you are supposed to do and keep your eyes on your expectation.

You will get to your destination in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: My trouble shall not be prolonged, my reward shall not be delayed in Jesus name.

Anointing for rest 2

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” Isaiah 26:3

In this wild world, the rest of the many are taken away by fear, anxiety, uncertainty, challenges and troubles. However, it does not have to be so. Where your mind is and who you trust can determine whether you will have rest in this midst of trouble or not. When your mind is stayed on God and you trust Him totally with your life, the anointing for rest will rest on you.

“And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?” Mark 4:37-38
“And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the Lord, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the Lord; for his mercy endureth for ever.” 2 Chronicles 20:21

What will make a man to be asleep in the midst of the storm while others were thinking they would perish? What would make a king to lead a choir into the midst of battle? This is the anointing for rest based on consciousness of God’s presence and absolute faith in Him. Whose you are, is more important than who you are. You are a child of the living God who made the heavens and the earth. The bible says He is beautiful for all situations. He said fear not. If there is any trouble, pray, trust and obey Him.

May you enjoy God’s rest in the midst of trouble in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: Let my mind stay on the Lord, let my trust be in Him and let me enjoy His rest at all times in Jesus name.

Anointing for rest 1

“Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the Lord's hand double for all her sins.” Isaiah 40:2
“When a man's ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.” Proverbs 16:7

If you have had to fight all the time to get a little breakthrough this message will change your life.

First you must know and believe that there is a place of rest in this tempestuous world. Your family foundation does not matter, you don’t have to fight all the time, you must connect to the anointing that brings rest in the midst of life’s battles. God told David in 1 Chronicles 22:9, “Behold, a son shall be born to thee, who shall be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from all his enemies round about: for his name shall be Solomon, and I will give peace and quietness unto Israel in his days.”

Secondly you must know that this rest is only available in God. If you want it, your way must please the Lord. You must be willing to do whatever God tells you. You must stay where He wants you to stay and act on all His instructions for your life.

Lastly you must ask God to anointing you for rest. This anointing compels your enemies to be at peace with you. Laban was prevented from doing any harm to Jacob (Genesis 31:24). Esau who was coming with four hundred soldiers to attack Jacob changed his mind and made peace him (Genesis 33:1). Jacob prayed in Genesis 32:11,” Deliver me, I pray thee, from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau: for I fear him, lest he will come and smite me, and the mother with the children.”

Hear the word from the Lord: your battles are over, your sins are forgiven in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: O God, anoint me for rest in the midst of life’s battles in Jesus name.

Necessity of knowledge 2

“And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.” Daniel 11:32

Your knowledge of God will give you boldness, courage, confidence and strength to deal with the assault of the enemy. The power to do exploit will be at work in your life when you know your God. A personal experience of God is needed to confidently declare His word in every situation. It is possible to be attending church or be religious and not know God. Job said in Job 42:5, “I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee.” Be desperate to know God and to experience Him in every area of your life.

“Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.” Acts 4:13
“Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? 35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;” John 10:34-35

Beloved, as you go to church this morning, be desperate to hear God and to know Him the more. Don’t make today’s service the usual. Let it be an unusual service. One encounter with God and His word will change your life forever.

May you experience the power of God in your present situation in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let my eyes see you in Jesus name.

Necessity of knowledge 1

“According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:.” 2 Peter 1:3

Knowledge is the key that grants you access in life. Access to all the things you need to make both a good and godly living can be gained through knowledge. There are two kinds of knowledge, revelation knowledge and intellectual knowledge. Intellectual knowledge is acquired through the arm of man (flesh and blood) and all the instruments he has put in place to acquire knowledge. Revelation knowledge is acquired through God, His Spirit and His word. Revelation knowledge is superior to intellectual knowledge, but the best to have both (See lives of Paul and Peter in the bible).

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua 1:8
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15

Basically, intellectual knowledge can be acquired by studying while revelation knowledge can be acquired by meditation. May you have the knowledge you need to fulfil your destiny in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let your light shine on my path that I may know what to do to be who you want me to be in Jesus name.

Timely intervention

“And the king said, Who is in the court? Now Haman was come into the outward court of the king's house, to speak unto the king to hang Mordecai on the gallows that he had prepared for him.” Esther6:4

God will intervene in your situation. The enemy’s plan will be used by God to lift you. You will not go down in Jesus name. That was the story of Mordecai when Haman decided to hang him. The same night he made the gallows, the same night the king could not sleep and the book of remembrance had to be brought. It was decided that Mordecai must be honoured. It was at the same time Haman came to ask for Mordecai to be hanged. So he suggested to the king everything needed for Mordecai to be glorified. Everything was timely because God intervened.

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28
“He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes; Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.” Psalms 105:14-15

Beloved, just stay in the purpose of God for your life and also stay anointed. It does not matter who is working against you, God is working for you. You will have a testimony of victory.

Prayer for today: May you enjoy timely divine intervention in this situation in Jesus name.

Prevail for your birthright 4

“And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God;” Luke9:62

You must prevail against discouragement, looking back and giving up if you want to enjoy your birthright. When you have found the path that leads you to your destination, you must persist on that path until you get there. There may be red sea or Jericho wall on the way, you will have to walk through them. There may be giants on the way, you will have to subdue them. There may be thorns in the way, you will have to crush them. The good news is that you don’t have to do it alone. God is there to help you. If you are willing to get there, He will take you there.

“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.” Isaiah 43:2
“If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:” Isaiah 1:19
“Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.”

Be convinced that God is with you. Be willing. Be obedient. Be strong. Be courageous. Go forward and take that which God has given you. Begin to enjoy your birthright in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God take me to where you want me to be in Jesus name.

Prevail for your birthright 3

“And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the Lord, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:  That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;.” Genesis 22:16-17

Giving in Christianity is not a transaction but an evidence. An evidence of your faith in God. Your faith will always move God (Hebrews 11:1,6). You must prevail in giving in order to access your birthright as a Christian. The least you can do is to support the work of God with your regular tithe. More importantly, let God lead you to give specifically. You cannot give what is supposed to be used for the preaching of the Gospel to the poor and yet, you must give to the poor.

“And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard very precious; and she brake the box, and poured it on his head. And there were some that had indignation within themselves, and said, Why was this waste of the ointment made? For it might have been sold for more than three hundred pence, and have been given to the poor. And they murmured against her. And Jesus said, Let her alone; why trouble ye her? she hath wrought a good work on me.” Mark 14:3-6

Abraham prevailed and got major breakthrough into God’s inheritance when he offered Isaac, his most precious son, to God in obedience to God’s instruction to him. God sworn by Himself that Abraham must be blessed.

May you respond in faith to God and secure your birthrights in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God help me so that I will not withhold what is supposed to be released in Jesus name.

Prevail for your birthright 2

“Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” John 1:13

You have birthrights because of your second birth. These include righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost (Romans 14:17). Your birthrights also include victory (1John 5:4), prosperity (2 Cor 8:9), blessings (Gal 3:13-14), fruits of the Spirit (Gal 5:22-23) and the gifts of the Spirit (1 Cor 12:4). As a born again Christian, you must prevail in prayer in order to make these rights a reality in your life.

“And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.” Luke 24:49
“Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:.” Ephesians 1:16-18

Beloved, you must prevail in two major prayer points for you to enjoy your birthrights as a Christian. You must be endued with power from on high and you must have the spirit of wisdom and revelation.

May you prevail in prayer to enjoy your birthrights in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God endue me with power from on high and give me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in Jesus name.

Prevail for your birthright 1

“For Judah prevailed above his brethren, and of him came the chief ruler; but the birthright was Joseph's:)” 1 Chronicles 5:2

What is the importance of a right you have but you cannot enjoy? Unfortunately, this is the story of many today. The scepter belongs to those who prevail and not those who have birthrights. That is why you must prevail with God and with man if you want to enforce your birthright. Reuben was supposed to have the birthright, but he lost it to iniquity, he slept with his father’s wife (1 Chronicles 5:1). Joseph got the birthright, but he could not enforce it, he did not prevail. He had the document but did not have its reality. However, Judah prevailed; he had the reality, although he did not have the document.

“I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth.” Ecclesiastes 10:7
“And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.” Genesis 32:28

As a Christian, many things are yours according to the scriptures, but where is the reality in your life? You must prevail with God and with man if you want to enjoy what have been written concerning you. Jacob was blessed years before he entered the reality of the blessing. Until he prevailed, he was living as if he had not been blessed.

May you prevail to experience the blessings of God in your life in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God empower me to prevail with You and with men in Jesus name.

Power for your destiny 6

“Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” Proverbs 29:18

Vision is power for any great destiny. Vision is what terminates inactivity. Lack of vision brings death to a man, even though he is breathing and walking about. Vision generates passion. Vision motivates. Vision precedes provision. Vision is the evidence of an expected future. If you want power for your destiny, in all your getting, you must get a vision. A man with a vision cannot die but a man without a vision is dead already.

“And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me.” Genesis 37:9
“Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:  But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.” Acts 26:19-20

Can you see a future for yourself either by revelation or by meditation? This is the power you need to make your destiny count among men. You cannot have a vision and fold your arms, if are convinced about it.. Let your vision drive you.

May you receive a vision from God in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I receive power to fulfill my destiny in Jesus name.

Power for your destiny 5

“And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.” Acts 7:10

Another power that your destiny needs is the favor of God and men. Favor is also a product of God’s blessings upon a man. There are two kinds of favor. Merited favour and unmerited favour. Merited favour depends on what you do and it is motivated by the use of your knowledge, skills, being useful or in demand for a solution or for an assignment (Prov 22:29). Unmerited favour on the other hand does not depend on what you do or don’t do, it is God’s prerogative (Romans 9:15) although it can be motivated by obedience to God.

“Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.” Proverbs 22:29
“For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.” Romans 9:15

It is important to have a relationship with God through His only begotten son Jesus. This gives a man access to the family of God where grace and favour are multiplied. It is also important to be skillful at what you do. In your chosen profession, be your best and be diligent.

May you have favour with God and with men in Jesus name.

Power for your destiny 4

“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over……: And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over….” Genesis 1:26-28

Another power that your destiny need is the blessing and dominion. Both go hand in hand. You cannot be blessed and not have dominion, also you cannot have dominion and not be blessed. God blessed man at the Garden of Eden so that the mandate of dominion given to him could be carried out. To be blessed is to have the power to succeed, increase and multiply. The result of blessing is the dominion that is the power to be in charge, to subdue opposition and take what belongs to you.

“And Isaac his father answered and said unto him, Behold, thy dwelling shall be the fatness of the earth, and of the dew of heaven from above; And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck.” Genesis 27:39-40

As a child of God, you are blessed and should dominate. The blessing and dominion are actually yours to power your destiny into fulfillment. Your key to realizing this is obedience and fellowship. Devil robs most Christians when they choose to willfully disobey God and take lightly their personal daily fellowship with him. Beloved, spend time with God and do whatever He tells you to do.

May you walk in dominion in every area of your life Jesus name.

Power for your destiny 3

“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:” Ephesians 1:17

The Spirit of wisdom and revelation powers great destinies. You need a personal revelation of God and a personal revelation of yourself. If you know God you will be strong and you will do exploit. If you know yourself, you will have the right vision and walk in the area of your grace and strength. You need to walk in wisdom in order to solve problems and to act wisely in all affairs of life.

“And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.” Daniel 11:32
“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5
“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.” Proverbs 4:7

If you don’t know God, you will always walk by the flesh, but great destinies walk by faith. If you don’t know yourself, you will not know what to do with your life. If you don’t walk in wisdom, even your labor will bring frustration. If you are struggling with destinies, three prayer points are needed. First, ask God to reveal Himself to you. Secondly, ask God to reveal yourself to you. Thirdly ask God to give you the wisdom to deal wisely in all affairs of life.

May you receive from the Lord the spirit of wisdom and revelation in Jesus name.

Power for your destiny 2

“And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.” Luke 4:14

Great destinies are powered by the Holy Spirit. When your spirit is empowered by the Holy Spirit, you become another man. When Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit, He could no longer be hidden, His fame went over the land. Jesus declared in the synagogue that He had been anointed (Luke 4:18-21). Acts 10:38 also revealed that He did all that He was able to do because He was anointed. The power of the Holy Spirit on Him is the anointing and the empowerment to fulfil His destiny.

“But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it.” Numbers 14:24
“And the Spirit of the Lord will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man.” 1 Samuel 10:6

When you are empowered by the Holy Spirit, you will have authority, boldness and wisdom to fulfil your destiny. You will be able to handle whatever the enemy throw at you. You need both the spirt of prayer and the spirit of faith to generate the power of the Holy Spirit. Your prayer empowered by faith will cause the anointing to rest on you. When you stay fresh daily under the power of the Spirit, you get fresh and daily results in your life and destiny.

May the Holy Spirit empower you to fulfill your destiny in Jesus name.

Power for your destiny 1

“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” John 15:5

The glory of any destiny is to bear fruit, to get results. Most importantly, results with God and with men, the kind of fruits recognized by heaven on earth. Now, because of resistance both physical and spiritual, power is needed to overcome obstacles and bear fruits. The Bible emphasizes the importance of relationship in powering our destinies. Relationship with God through His son Jesus and the person of Holy Spirit, and relationship with men. No one can truly bear fruit alone.

“Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.” Ecclesiastes 4:9
“By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me.” John 5:30

Jesus did not even do it alone. He had the power of God’s spirit. He had access to God’s instructions. He had disciples, both men and women who worked with Him. It is of utmost important, first, to recognize the fact that you need God to power your destiny into fulfilment. This truth must motivate you to become desperate for God in your life. Move beyond salvation experience and come into the fullness of God through His indwelling spirit then destiny fulfilment is inevitable.

May you bear fruits in every area of your life in Jesus name.

The voice of a man 3

“We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;” 2 Cor 4:13

The voice of a believing man has capacity to change things. The sound of a voice that comes out of a heart of faith is powerful to make things happen. When Jesus spoke to the storm in Mark 4, the people were surprised. But Jesus told them they could do the same thing if they had faith. The sound of Jesus’ voice stopped the storm not because he was the Son of God but because it came from a heart of faith.

“So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.” Ezekiel 37:10
“Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.” Acts 3:6

When Ezekiel spoke to the dried bones, he did so because God commanded him and he got results. When Peter spoke to the lame man at the beautiful gate, he did so because he had faith in Jesus’ name. You too can make the sound of your voice to change things, repair things or bring things into manifestation based on your faith in Jesus’s name.

May the sound of your voice be based on faith and not on fear in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, Let the sound of my voice be acceptable in your sight in Jesus name.

The voice of a man 2

“He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias.” John 1:23

You are a voice to your generation. Your voice must be heard. Your voice has a place and a target. It cannot be confused with another. What gives a man a voice is the voice of God. You cannot become the voice you are supposed to be without your personal access to the voice of God. It takes the voice of God to make the voice of a man count among men. That is why you must be desperate for God.

“And the people gave a shout, saying, It is the voice of a god, and not of a man. And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost.” Acts 12:22-23
“And the Lord said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.” Exodus 7:1

When the voice of Herod was confused for the voice of God, an Angel smote him and he died.  On the other hand, when the voice of Moses became the voice of God, Egypt and her gods could not hold Israel further in bondage. It is important for you to hear God so that you can really become a voice among men. Your redemption gives you access to God’s voice. Patiently seek God in prayer and meditation of His word. Although John was a voice in the wilderness, people came to him there because he has heard God.

May you hear God in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God make my voice your voice among men in Jesus name.
