Anointing for rest 2

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” Isaiah 26:3

In this wild world, the rest of the many are taken away by fear, anxiety, uncertainty, challenges and troubles. However, it does not have to be so. Where your mind is and who you trust can determine whether you will have rest in this midst of trouble or not. When your mind is stayed on God and you trust Him totally with your life, the anointing for rest will rest on you.

“And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?” Mark 4:37-38
“And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the Lord, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the Lord; for his mercy endureth for ever.” 2 Chronicles 20:21

What will make a man to be asleep in the midst of the storm while others were thinking they would perish? What would make a king to lead a choir into the midst of battle? This is the anointing for rest based on consciousness of God’s presence and absolute faith in Him. Whose you are, is more important than who you are. You are a child of the living God who made the heavens and the earth. The bible says He is beautiful for all situations. He said fear not. If there is any trouble, pray, trust and obey Him.

May you enjoy God’s rest in the midst of trouble in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: Let my mind stay on the Lord, let my trust be in Him and let me enjoy His rest at all times in Jesus name.
