Be praiseful

“…... O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.” Psalm 47:1

Today is an extra day for this year that makes it a leap year. God is giving you an extra 24 hours to do something about your life, about others and about God Himself. Apart from this, it is the end of another month this year. God has given you, hands and voices. Will you not give Him praise this day, clapping your hands and shouting unto Him with the voice of triumph?  You have triumphed over all oppositions and attacks of the enemy. Your joy is about to be full because God has been faithful to you

““Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.” Psalm 107:8-9
“Who is like unto thee, O Lord, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?” Exodus 15:11

Why should you praise God? Because His goodness and His wonderful works in your life and in the life of others. Because He never disappoints a longing and a hungry soul, He always gives them more than enough of His goodness. Because there is no one like Him, who does wonders in our lives and among the children of men. You may not feel like it, but this passes feelings. It is a prerequisite to engaging the God that does marvelous things.

May you have an encounter with God in all situations, as you are full of His praise in Jesus name.
.
Prayer for today: Oh God, let my mouth be full of praise today and always in Jesus name.
Call to Salvation: Lord Jesus, I believe in the forgiveness of sin and in the redemption from the power of darkness through your blood. I confess you as my Savior and Lord.  I invite you into my life to save my soul. Holy Spirit, come into my heart and make me what you want me to be. Thank you Lord for saving me in Jesus name.

Winning attitude 5

“For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.” Luke 14:11

Another winning attitude I will like to share with you is Humility. There are many ways to talk about humility, but here I refer to an attitude of inadequacy that helps you to receive from God and learn from men. This positions you to continually receive grace from God and help from men. If you have an attitude of “too know” or “holier than thou,” you will always miss the best of God and the best of men. You need to learn from others and receive from God in order to win in life.

if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14
“And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean?” 2 kings 5:13

Humility makes you seek God. One thing you can never do without in this life is the grace of God. If you have the attitude of humility, God will always pour His grace into you. Humility also makes you listen to and learn from others. Naaman would have missed God, if not for the fact he humbled himself and listened to his servants. Even as great as he was, he needed to learn from others to overcome his weakness.

May you walk in humility that will make God exalt you in Jesus name.
.
Prayer for today: Oh God, let the same mind of humility that was in Jesus be found in me in Jesus name.

Winning attitude 4

“Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.” Matthew 5:6

Another winning attitude I will like to share with you is Passion. This is a desperate hunger to win or get results. Passion gives birth to self-motivation. Passion is the inner zeal that drives every winner. You will always obtain or attain to something for which you are hungry enough. Passion makes obstacles and barriers look like none existing.

“For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.” Psalms 69:9
“And David spake to the men that stood by him, saying, What shall be done to the man that killeth this Philistine, and taketh away the reproach from Israel? for who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?” 1 Samuel 17:26

To develop a passion, you must first be convincingly convinced about what you desire to do. Secondly, you must focus on and keep the desired result before you.  You must also believe God and the ability He has put on the inside of you to make things happen.

Ask God to give you passion for souls, for righteousness, and to pursue His plans for your life.
Receive the energy within to see results in every area of your life in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: Oh God, give me the passion to pursue your will for my life in Jesus name.

Winning attitude 3

“And he said, Take the arrows. And he took them. And he said unto the king of Israel, Smite upon the ground. And he smote thrice, and stayed. And the man of God was wroth with him, and said, Thou shouldest have smitten five or six times;…..” 2 Kings 13:18-19

Another winning attitude I will like to share with you is Persistence. This is a resolution to see any task or vision to completion no matter the obstacle. You must have known by now that every great vision will be resisted both by the enemy and by nature. The fact that you are facing one obstacle or the other does not mean that your vision is not from God. It only means that the enemy is really afraid of your vision. Don’t give up until you get the desired result. This attitude must be maintained in order to win in life and in destiny.

“And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” Luke 9:62
“Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.” Luke 18:5

Persistence pays. You will always turn failure into success if you persist. While you are persisting, keep on praying, keep on developing yourself, keep on looking for a better way to get the work done. But never give up.

I see you winning in every area of your life in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: Oh God, give me the grace to persist until I obtain my desired result in Jesus name.

Winning attitude 2

“That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” Hebrews 6:12

The second winning attitude you need to have is Patience. Patience keeps you on when what you believe seems delayed. Patience is hard work, you cannot be lazy and have patience (Hebrews 6:12). God’s time is different from our time. It takes patience to see the fulfillment of what God has promised despite the fact that you believe. Patience makes you believe until you see the result.

“And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;:” Romans 4:19-20
“And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience;…...” 2 Peter 1:6

Impatience can change a believer to an unbeliever. Your adversity shall soon be over, but add patience to your faith. Your miracle shall soon manifest, but add patience to your faith. Your mountain shall soon move, but add patience to your faith. Faith cannot make it without patience because your faith will be tested. Not only by your enemy, but by the laws of this earth. Everything takes time, even your noodles takes a few minutes. Within that time that is needed, patience must be in place.

May you walk in patience and see your desired result in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: Oh God, help me to add patience to my faith in Jesus name.

Winning attitude 1

“Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.” Mark 9:23

The first winning attitude I want to share with you is the believing attitude. Let me quickly mention that everyone is a believer, also everyone is a doubter.  When you believe God, you doubt satan. When you believe satan, you doubt God. When you believe the positive, you doubt the negative and vice versa. Believing attitude has a positive disposition towards life. He believes in God and His promises. He believes that all things are working together for his good. You need this kind of attitude to always win in life.

“For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:” Job 19:25
“Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” Romans 8:37

If you are going through a challenge, that is not final. When God is involved in your matter, the actual final is victory. You have to believe this and maintain this attitude come what may. Your story cannot be complete without a breakthrough testimony. No matter the strength of the storm or the height of the mountain, a believing attitude keeps on seeing God in the situation. God is bigger than any mountain or storm that may confront your life. This kind of attitude gives you the assurance that all will be well, and keeps you excited towards your victory.

May you see God and not the mountain in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: Oh God, help me to have a believing attitude in all situations in Jesus name.

The Turning Point 7

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:13

Maintain a consistent, daily action towards your turning point.  Take knowledge-based actions. Pray, think, meditate, read, strategize and take action towards your turning point. Never doubt the grace that God has put in you. Never doubt God’s strength in you. Your turning point is closer than you have thought.

“But the Lord said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.” Jeremiah 1:7
“For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.” Philippians 2:13

Beloved, God is at work in you. You cannot walk with God and not experience a turning point. Open your arms to the Lord and He will carry you. You must have faith that He is with you, and take necessary actions to make things happen. Your limitations and weakness will not matter if you will surrender to the working power of God in your life and take necessary actions.

May you enjoy the best of God as you take action towards your turning point in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: I claim my victory right now in Jesus name.

The Turning Point 6

“Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.” Joel 3:14

At your turning point, you will find yourself at the valley of decision. This decision is important; It will determine whether you will move to the mountain of victory or not. You must make the decision based on the truth. You must not allow the situation that will soon change to influence your decision. You must not be afraid to take a risk and change your strategy if you want to experience a turning point.

“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Exodus 14:16
“I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.?” Luke 15:18-19

You need a truthful and correct assessment of the situation for which you desire a turning point. This will help you to make a quality decision that will change your life. Only decisions based on the truth can bring freedom. The prodigal son’s situation changed when he analyzed his situation; and made a quality decision. What kind of company do you keep? What books do you read? Do you read your bible? What kind of church do you attend? What kind of program do you watch on your television or your computer? How desperate are you for a turning point? The answers to these questions are important for you to make the right decision that will change your life.

I see you leaving the valley of decision for a mountain of testimony in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: O God, take me out of the valley of decision into a mountain of victory in Jesus name.

The Turning Point 5

“And he took his staff in his hand, and chose him five smooth stones out of the brook, and put them in a shepherd's bag which he had, even in a scrip; and his sling was in his hand: and he drew near to the Philistine.” 1 Samuel 17:40

Some levels of abnormal thinking may be needed to experience a turning point. How do you explain the fact that David went against Goliath with five stones and a sling?  He believed he could slay a giant with a seemingly useless instrument! That thinking was abnormal, but that was what brought him out of obscurity into the limelight.

“But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.” Exodus 14:16
“One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, saith unto him, There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?” John 6:8-9

What I have called abnormal thinking is what others called possibility thinking. When you begin to think that you can divide the red sea with a rod in your hand. When your thinking pattern says you can feed more than five thousand people with two loaves and five fishes. Then you are ready for your turning point. This kind of thinking only comes when you walk with God or you keep company with people who believe God.

May your thinking be aligned with your miracle in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: O God, let my heart be filled with your kind of thought for me to experience a turning point in my life in Jesus name.

The Turning Point 4

“And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.” Genesis 32:26

There is a blessing you must receive to experience a turning point in your life and your destiny. May you experience the blessing today in Jesus name. Jacob experienced a turning point when the Angel blessed him and changed his name (Genesis 32:27-29). Even his grandfather Abraham experienced the turning point when he heard God’s voice and God blessed him (Genesis 12). Jabesh’s story changed when he asked for God’s blessing and God heard him (1 Chro 4:9-10). You will always experience a turning point if you connect to God’s blessing for your life and destiny.

“And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.” Deuteronomy 28:2
“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:” Matthew 7:7

There are two key ways to receive the blessing for a turning point. The first is hearing God and obeying Him. If you walk in obedience to God’s word and instruction for you, He will bless you. The second is asking God to bless you in prayer until He blesses you.

I see the blessing of God resting upon you in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: O God, bless me indeed and enlarge my coast in Jesus name.

The Turning Point 3

“And a certain man found him, and, behold, he was wandering in the field: and the man asked him, saying, What seekest thou?” Genesis 37:15

There is a person you must meet if you must experience a turning point. This person carries the information that you need for your struggle to end and your life to change. You may not really meet him in person. You may come across his books or his messages through any available means. Joseph was wandering in the field until he met the man who told him where the answer was. Everyone must meet with Jesus to experience the turning point called salvation.

“Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.” Luke 5:4
“And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.” Acts 9:6

Peter’s turning point came when he met Jesus at a junction when he was about to give up. Jesus told him what to do and his situation changed from that of a failure to success. When Saul, who later became Paul met Jesus on his way to Damascus. Jesus led him into the city where he was told what he must do. May you meet the person who has the information that will bring your turning point in Jesus name.

Your turning point is today in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: O God, order my steps to meet the person that I need for my turning point in Jesus name.

The Turning Point 2

“And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.” 1 Chronicles 4:10

Your turning point can be enforced by praying through. When God answers your prayers, you experience a change of season and situation. This unwanted situation can change and will change if you engage the power of prayer. Nothing was working for Jabesh until he prayed and God heard him. His life was filled with sorrow until his turning point came through prayer. He became an honorable person among his people.

“And it came to pass in process of time, that the king of Egypt died: and the children of Israel sighed by reason of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up unto God by reason of the bondage. And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.:” Exodus 2:23-24
“And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou son of David, have mercy on me. And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee.” Mark 10:46-49

If you have identified the change you need; be specific, be consistent, be persistent and in faith call unto God and He will hear you. Jeremiah 33:3 says, “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” The same God that heard the people of Israel and ended their bondage will hear you today. The same God that turned the situation of Bartimaeus around for good shall visit you today. Only pray.

Your tuning point is here in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: O God, let my story change to glory today in Jesus name.

The Turning Point 1

“Until the time that his word came: the word of the Lord tried him.” Psalms 105:19

Whatever you are passing through has a season. Your adversity will pass with its season. However, you need to put your heart to wisdom for you to experience a turning point. Wisdom is acquired primarily through the word of God. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Joseph went through a season of adversity, but his turning point came when his word came. Within twenty-four hours, he went from being a prisoner to become a prime minister.

“Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:” Genesis 12:1
“And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake..” Luke 5:5-6

I don’t know what kind of adversity you are going through right now, but one thing I know, your turning point is near. Separate time to exercise your mind through the word of God. You cannot remain the same if your word comes; you must experience a turning point. Abraham was a poor, stagnant and backward person until the word of the Lord came to him. Peter was going to give up, but his turning point came when God’s word came to him. Separate time to study the word of God, then you will receive wisdom for a change of story.

I see your sadness turning to joy in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: O God, let me receive a timely word to experience a turning point this season in Jesus name.

The power of wisdom

“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.” Proverbs 4:7

One thing you can never do without in this world is wisdom. Wisdom brings creativity and ideas for exploits in life. Wisdom is what is needed for a change of story and a change of levels. Wisdom makes a man stand out from the crowd. Wisdom is the origin of witty inventions. Wisdom is the key to making a meaningful impact in this life.

“I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.” Proverbs 8:12
“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” James 1:5

It is frustrating to stand before a door without the key. Wisdom is the key that opens the door for an exciting and prosperous life. The good news is that as a Christian, God your father is the source of the wisdom you need. Psalms 104:24 says, “O Lord, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.” Proverbs 2:6 says, “For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.” Your relationship with God guarantees you access to divine wisdom. What should you do? Spend time God and ask Him to grant you access into His wisdom.

May you receive wisdom from God today and always in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: O God, give me the wisdom I need for distinction in life and destiny in Jesus name.

The power of a praying church

“Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.” Acts 12:5

The only thing the church will not achieve, attain, obtain or possess is the thing she is not willing to constantly pray for. When the church prays, wickedness is broken, contrary authority is subdued, righteousness prevails. A praying church is more powerful than any human king no matter how powerful he is.

In our text today, the church prayed without ceasing for the release of Peter. Note that the chapter opened with the arrest of Judah, who Herod killed because the church did nothing about it. And when Herod found that the enemies were pleased, he proceeded to arrest Peter also so that he could kill him. The church suddenly woke up and prayed. Despite the fact that Peter was kept in a way that humanly speaking it was impossible for him to come out. God rescued him. He was surprised so also was the praying church.

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicle 7:14
“For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” Mathew 18:20

The good news is that it takes only two to make the church. If at least two can gather and pray without ceasing, the destiny of nations can be changed, deliverance can be obtained.

May God raise a praying church in every nation of the world in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: O God arise and put a passion for constant and fervent prayer in your church in Jesus name.

Power of Love

“And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.” 1 Corinthians 13:13

Where there is love, there is hope and there is faith. That is why love is greater than hope and faith. The greatest need of the world today is true love.  At the center of this true love is God. God Himself is love (1 John 4:8) and His commandments are about love (Mat 22:37-39). You cannot love God and hate your neighbor. You cannot love without giving. You cannot truly love without sacrifice. The true evidence that you know God is that you walk in love.

“I am distressed for thee, my brother Jonathan: very pleasant hast thou been unto me: thy love to me was wonderful, passing the love of women.” 2 Samuel 1:26
“No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” Matthew 6:24

Beloved, love is not sex neither is love money. In fact, both sex and money have deprived this world of true love, which is God Himself. The only way to conquer evil, poverty, sickness, war is through agape love, that is, the selfless and unconditional love. The closest description of this is 1 Samuel 18:4 that says, “Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul.” Read 1 Corinthians 13. As the world is celebrating valentine today, it is important for us to know that the greatest love that can happen to the world today is God Himself. This is only through Jesus Christ.

May you be an expression of love and may you find the love you need in every area of your life in Jesus name.
I truly love you.
Prayer point: Oh God, let your love swallow this wild world in Jesus name.

How to enforce change

“And David enquired at the Lord, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.” 1 Samuel 30:8

If you want to enforce a change either in your life or your situation, you need three things. You need information, motivation, and action. Being sentimental or emotional will not change things, it is only motivated action based on accurate information that changes things or lives.

“Then David and the people that were with him lifted up their voice and wept, until they had no more power to weep.” 1 Samuel 30:4
“And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee.” Luke 15:17-18

Any situation you have found yourself can be changed, stop weeping. When the enemy stole what David and his soldiers had, they wept. Weeping did not change the situation, it only took more things from them, their strength also. Until he came to his senses and enquired from the Lord for the information and motivation he needed, he could not take the right action. But when he did, he was able to recover all and change the situation. Beloved, find out what you need to do, be motivated that what you have found will work and take action to enforce a change in your life.

I see your story changing to glory in Jesus name.

Prayer point: Oh God reveal to me what I must do to change this situation and give me the grace to do it in Jesus name.

Implications of Victorious Christian life 7

“But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.” 1 John 2:5

The seventh implication of victorious Christian life that I will like to share with you is a “loving” life. This is a life of true love, which is God’s kind of love (Agape). It is a product of responding to God’s words and instructions in a positive way. This results in loving God with our hearts and loving our neighbors as ourselves.

“Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself..” Matthew 22:37-39
“If ye love me, keep my commandments.” John 14:15

True love is not lust (Eros). True love is manifested in and around you because of God’s dwelling in you and you are in Him. It is a product of victorious Christian life. A loving life is not a life of deception, but a life inspired by God and His word. It is not a life of selfishness, but a life sold out to the good of others. This kind of life is not possible without God in our lives (1 John 4:8). Please read the story of Ammon and Tamar in 2 Samuel 13. This kind of life will result in both your goodness and the goodness of others and will never bring hurt and defeats.

May God’s kind of love be found in your heart at all times in Jesus name.

Prayer point: Oh God fill me with your love and let my life be full of your goodness in Jesus name.

Implications of Victorious Christian life 6

“Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.” 2 Corinthians 2:14

The sixth implication of victorious Christian life is a triumphant life. This is a life of victory in every place and in every situation. It is a life of an overcomer in this wild and tempestuous world. This comes because of your knowledge of Christ. This gives you confidence that you will come out victorious in everything that you are and will pass through.

“And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.” Daniel 11:32
“Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” Romans 8:37

Beloved, we definitely pass through many adverse situations in this world. Wilderness situations. Desert situations. Battle situations and so forth. We are guaranteed victory in all these situations through Christ. The triumphant life enables you to be confident and positive that Jesus had won the victory for you and you only need to walk in it.

May you experience the triumphant life at all times in Jesus name.

Prayer point: I take dominion over all battles of life in Jesus name.

Implications of Victorious Christian life 5

“For he that is dead is freed from sin.” Romans 6:7

The fifth implication of victorious Christian life is a gracious life. This is a life of victory over sin. This comes because you believe that you have been crucified with Christ and Christ lives in you. You have received the grace to live by the faith of Jesus who died for you. You are no longer living in sin consciousness, but in righteousness consciousness, because you believe that you have exchanged your nature of sin for His nature of righteousness (2 Cor 5:21).

“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20.
“For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.” Romans 6:14

This grace enables you to consciously reject sin and accept the way of the Lord. It also enables you to repent and accept the forgiveness that is provided in Jesus if you sin. 1 John 1:8-9 says, “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

May your life be full of grace to live in dominion over sin in Jesus name.

Prayer point: Oh God pour your grace into me to be who you want me to be in Jesus name.

Implications of Victorious Christian life 4

“For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.” Romans 14:17

The fourth implication of victorious Christian life is a joyful life. A joyful life is because of the Holy Spirit in you. It does not depend on material possession or any earthly possession. This joyful life is given to you because you have received the promises of God and you believe them. This kind of life is obtained by trusting the Lord and obeying Him

“These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.” John 15:11
“Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.” Proverbs 12:25.

If your response to the word of God is always “I believe and I receive,” you will experience a joyful life even in the midst of adversity. Your strength corresponds directly to the joy of the Lord you carry (Neh 8:10). There is always a word for you at all times and in every situation. God’s promises can never fail. He has promised not to leave you or forsake you. You must believe Him and walk by faith in Him for you to experience a joyful life. This was the secret of the joyful life enjoyed by Joseph despite being thrown into the prison for a sin he did not commit. He was confident that the promises of God would come to past.

May your joy be full in Jesus name.

Prayer point: Oh God help me to trust you with my life and to keep the joy you have given me in Jesus name.

Implications of Victorious Christian life 3

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” John 7:37-38

The third implication of victorious Christian life is abundant life. Only Jesus gives abundant life. It is the life of victory over the thief, the killer and the destroyer who is satan himself. The life is not available outside Christ because He is the only one who defeated satan and makes the life available for all who believe.

“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues.” Mark 16:17
“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name” John 1:12.

Adam and Eve had abundant life before satan came to steal it from them. Jesus came to restore that which was lost by Adam and Eve to all believers. Abundant life is a life of dominion over satan and his activities. It is a life of spiritual authority because of obedience to the voice of Christ. It is a life of divine provision, divine security, and divine protection.

May satan dwell under your feet in every situation in Jesus name.

Prayer point: Oh God let me be attentive to the voice of Christ in order to live an abundant life in Jesus name.

Implications of Victorious Christian life 2

“In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” John 7:37-38

The second implication of victorious Christian life is overflowing life. The Holy Spirit powers victorious Christian life. Every Christian must have the fullness of the Spirit in order to be a channel of blessing to himself and the people around him. We must continually thirst and long for Him to fully dwell in us so that His life can flow through us.

“As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.” Psalms 42:1
“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. John 6:63

The indwelling Spirit of God in us enables us to possess the gifts of the Holy Spirit and to bear His fruits. These are the evidence of an overflowing life through whom others can contact God in us. The overflowing life is not flesh driven, but spirit-driven leading to supernatural results. It is God’s kind of life. Therefore, we must continually yield to the Holy Spirit in order to live this kind of life.

May you experience the overflowing life wherever you are in Jesus name.

Prayer point: Holy Spirit, possess and anoint me for your life to flow through me in Jesus name.

Implications of Victorious Christian life 1

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” Isaiah 26:3

When you are born of God, you are an overcomer. The victorious Christian life is enforced by faith (1 John 5:4). This has seven implications. The first that I want to share with you is the peaceful life. You must enjoy peace in this tempestuous world because everyone, born of God, has overcome the world. This peaceful life comes to you because your mind is on God and you trust Him through His Son Jesus Christ.

“And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.” 2 Kings 6:16
“And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?” Mark 4:38

This peaceful life is possible because you have confidence that God is in charge of your battles, your troubles, and your challenges. This comes because you have cast your cares and burdens on Him because you are convinced that He cares for you. It is a fear-free life because you believe that God is with you. You can enjoy peaceful sleep even in the midst of a raging storm because you are confident that God is in charge.

May you experience this peaceful life in Jesus name.

Prayer point: Let the peace of God, which passes all understanding keep my hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

This affliction is over 2

“What do ye imagine against the Lord? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.” Nahum 1:9

Affliction may come, but the word of the Lord is clear about God’s response to afflictions in the lives of His children.  God said affliction should not rise up the second time. God also said He should deliver you from all.  This means that it is spiritually illegal for affliction to stay in your life. It is important to know how to enforce the word of God and terminate any form of affliction that may want to harass your life.

“And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.” Exodus 2:24
“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.” Matthew 11:12

When the people of Israel cried out to God concerning their afflictions in Egypt; God heard them and delivered them.  This was because they were His covenant children. You are a Covenant Child of God. If God heard them then, He will hear you today. Pray through the will of God and terminate every affliction in your life. You must be violent in your spirit against any form of affliction and speak to it to die. Beloved, speak directly against any affliction in your life with boldness and confidence and see God manifesting His word in your life.

This affliction is over forever in Jesus name.

Prayer point: Oh God arise and put a total end to any affliction in my life in Jesus name.
