When God gives you a vision 1

“And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me.” Genesis 37:9

“Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams.” Genesis 37:20

When God gives you a vision, beware of those who are stars but have not seen it. If you share your vision with such they will make killing you or your vision their visions.

No vision is better than the other. There is enough room for everyone who has a vision. Unfortunately, many do not know this. Instead of getting their own vision and locating the star in them, they see the one who has received his own vision as a threat. Don’t join such camp if you have not received your own vision. Sit down and ask God for your own, He will reveal it to you. Joseph saw in his vision the stars in his brothers but they could not see that they were stars in their envious state.

When Herod heard about the child Jesus through the wise men, he made it his vision to kill the child. Mathew 2:16 says, “Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently inquired of the wise men.”

Beloved, there are people who must help you with the vision, the people whose visions are the fulfillment of your vision. When God gives you a vision, ask him for direction so that you will share the vision with such people.

May you be marvelously helped to fulfil your vision in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: O God deliver me from the hands of vision Killers in Jesus name.

God has a vision for you

“I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.  And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.” Habakkuk 2:1-2

What vision are you running with? Is it a vision borrowed from a friend or a vision given to you by your parents? Some are even running with a vision to make money. While money is good, it is a reward of running with the right vision and not a vision itself. God asked me to tell you this morning that He has a vision for you. Ask Him for what He wants you to do with your life. If you get a vision, run with it.

In Acts of Apostles, Paul was running with a vision given to him by the Pharisees and Religious Leaders of his days. He was killing Christians until God arrested him and gave him a vision. In his testimony to Agrippa in Acts 26:19, “Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:” As a result of this encounter about 14 books in new testament were written and may parts of the world were reached with the Gospel. At the end of his journey, he wrote in 2 Timothy 4:7-8, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:  Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.”

The brothers of Joseph were busy plotting his death when he was busy receiving a vision from God. In their envious state they helped him fulfill his vision. A vision from God will make you indestructible and bring you fulfilment in life if you receive one and run with it.

May God give you a vision from heaven in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: O God show me what you want me to do with my life in Jesus name.

Four breakthrough Christian experiences 4

“Now when the turn of Esther, the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her for his daughter, was come to go in unto the king, she required nothing but what Hegai the king's chamberlain, the keeper of the women, appointed. And Esther obtained favour in the sight of all them that looked upon her.” Esther 2:15

The fourth breakthrough Christian experience is baptism of favour. This kind of favour is as a result of God’s presence and His hands upon your life. It does not depend on what you can or cannot do. It is as a result of God’s choice of you which makes men to prefer you above others. In our text the bible says, “Esther obtained favour in the sight of all them that looked upon her.” She was carrying favour because she was wrapped with favour by God. Joseph obtained favour from Pharaoh because God gave him favour in the sight of Pharaoh (Acts 7:10). The bible says concerning Jesus in Luke 2:52, “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.” You are entitled to this kind of favour because you are a Christian and in a covenant of relationship with God. Ask God for this baptism until you experience it.

May God choose you and anoint you with favour in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, baptist me with favour in Jesus name. Let your favor speaks for me wherever I am in Jesus name.

Four breakthrough Christian experiences 3

“For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.” Luke 21:15

“But wisdom is justified of all her children.” Luke 7:35

The third breakthrough experience you need as a Christian is the baptism of wisdom. Don’t let us deceive ourselves, the world will hate us because we are Christians and because of our ways (John 15:18-19). But the good thing is that the world doesn’t care whether you are a Christian or not if you have results and power. If you operate in God’s given wisdom, results are inevitable (Luke 7:35). John 12:18 says, “The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, perceive ye how ye prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after him.”

When you have this experience, you will be able to deal wisely in all affairs of life. You will know what to do and what to say at every point in time.  Joseph and David had this wisdom and Paul prayed for the Christians to experience it.

“And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him, And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and WISDOM in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.” Acts 7:9-10

“There is a man in thy kingdom, in whom is the spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of thy father light and understanding and WISDOM, like the wisdom of the gods, was found in him; whom the king Nebuchadnezzar thy father, the king, I say, thy father, made master of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers;” Daniel 5:11

“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of WISDOM and revelation in the knowledge of him:” Ephesians 1:17

This baptism is experienced by praying through. I ask God to give you this experience in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: O God baptize me with wisdom in Jesus name.

Four breakthrough Christian experiences 2

“And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.  And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.” Revelation 5:4-5

The second breakthrough Christian experience is access into the mystery of God’s word. You must have unhindered access into the understanding and application of the word of God, and be sure of it to be a breakthrough Christian. Christian life becomes difficult when the book is sealed and the word is inaccessible. The bible speaks, you must be able to hear it, speak it and do it otherwise you will not be different from people who are not Christians (Joshua 1:8).

“And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest? And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.” Acts 8:30-31

Some Christians read the bible but because they don’t have this access, it does not benefit them. Such people must ask God to grant them access. Jesus has removed the seal and opened the book. Some Christians don’t even read the bible at all.

“The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.” Psalm 119:30

“Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word. With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.” Psalm 119:9-11

“Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.” Psalms 119:18

May you hear when God speaks; May His light be on your path; May you have passion for His word and understanding when you read the bible in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: O God grant me access into the mysteries of your word in Jesus name.

Four breakthrough Christian experiences 1

“And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about…… the Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,” Luke 4:14-18

You don’t need to become a Christian to become financially rich but you need to be a Christian to be anointed of the Holy Spirit. To be a breakthrough Christian, you must be anointed and stay anointed. A Christian has been translated from the Kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of Jesus Christ (1 Peter 2:9). You must be anointed not only to operate effectively in the kingdom but also to have dominion over the kingdom of darkness you left. Your breakthrough comes when you are anointed and you know it. It is an indication that God is with you. Acts 10:38 says, “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.”  Acts 3:6 says, “Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.” You need the anointing to be effective and make a difference as a Christian.

Beloved, we thank God that you are a Christian but please get anointed.

Prayer for today: O God anoint me with the Holy Ghost and power in Jesus name.

How to kill your fear

“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:32

Fear gives devil permission to intervene in your life just as faith gives God permission to intervene in your life. Job said in Job 3:25, “For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.” In Mark 9:23, the Bible says ” Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.” Fear is a product of the spirit of bondage, it paralyzes its captives. Romans 8:15 says, “For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.” The fear in your life must die and shall die in Jesus name.

Three things are necessary to kill the fear harassing your life.

1.    Change what you are hearing. Mark 5:35-36 says,” While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue's house certain which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further? As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.”

2.    Change what you are seeing. 2 Kings 6:15-17,” And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do? And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.”

3.    Speak to the spirit of fear to die. Mathew 18:18 says, “Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”

I see the source of your fear drying up in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Spirit of fear die in my life in Jesus name.

Anointing for rest

“Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the Lord's hand double for all her sins.” Isaiah 40:2

“When a man's ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.” Proverbs 16:7

If you have had to fight all the time to get a little breakthrough this message will change your life.

First you must know and believe that there is a place of rest in this tempestuous life. Your family foundation does not matter, you don’t have to fight all the time, you must connect to the anointing that brings rest in the midst of life’s battles. God told David in 1 Chronicles 22:9, “Behold, a son shall be born to thee, who shall be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from all his enemies round about: for his name shall be Solomon, and I will give peace and quietness unto Israel in his days.”

Secondly you must know that this rest is only available in God. If you want it, your way must please the Lord. You must be willing to do whatever God tells you. You must stay where He wants you to stay and act on all His instructions for your life.

Lastly you must ask God to anointing you for rest. This anointing compels your enemies to be at peace with you. Laban was prevented from doing any harm to Jacob (Genesis 31:24). Esau who was coming with four hundred soldiers to attack Jacob changed his mind and made peace him (Genesis 33:1). Jacob prayed in Genesis 32:11,” Deliver me, I pray thee, from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau: for I fear him, lest he will come and smite me, and the mother with the children.”

God asked me to prophesy to you this morning, your battles are over, your sins are forgiven in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: O God, anoint me for rest in the midst of life’s battles in Jesus name.

Nothing is final until …..

“In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live. Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the Lord, saying,” 2 Kings 20:1-2

Nothing is final until you accept it to be final. All things are subject to change. Hezekiah was sick unto death, physically speaking it was clear he was going to die. On top of that, a “confirmed” Prophet as some people would say today came and spoke by the word of the Lord that he was going to die. So physically and spiritually speaking, he was going to die but yet he rejected death. He prayed and asked for extension of life time. He got a new message from the same prophet even before the prophet got out of the palace.

Beloved, I don’t care to know who gave the message, whether an expert or a spiritual personality, until you accept it, it cannot come to pass in your life. Learn to accept what you want and reject what you do not want on your knee.

I decree that change is coming to every unwanted situation in your life in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Let the moveable be moved in my life and let all the shakable be shaken in Jesus name.

You can begin again

“And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?” Exodus 3:11

“Howbeit the hair of his head began to grow again after he was shaven.” Judges 16:22

Don’t give up on your passion or your dream even if you have failed before. Pick it up again.

Moses in our text today, failed in his passion to safe Israel. The reason for his failure at that time was wrong timing and the assignment needed a spiritual authority which he did not have in his first attempt. It took God some preaching to convince Moses to go back there and get the results he had wanted all his life. Samson lost his source of strength to his major weakness which was women. However, his hair grew again, his source of supernatural strength returned and he did greater exploit at the point of death than when he was strong, active and moving about.

Beloved, something might have gone wrong in your attempts but if you know deep down within you that it is what you are supposed to do, you can begin again! You can start that business again, you can start that ministry again, you can work on that invention again, you can pursue that career again, you can go back to that university again. Yes, you can begin again. Find out what you did wrong before, consult with people that have done it before, spend time with God who can turn things around for your good BUT please don’t drop the dream!

May you be inspired to take your dream and passion back in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: O God help me to succeed where I have failed before, teach me what to do and lead me in the way I should go in Jesus name.

How to have an exciting life

“For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.” 1 Cor 10:12
The race of life is individualistic in nature. Everyone has his or her own lane. Everyone has grace, talents and ability different from others. Although we are all allocated 24 hours in a day, divine program for each of us is different.  This means that time is not the same for two people, and time and chance guide things in this world. If you want to have an exciting life, recognize your grace, run with your vision and be passionate about what you do.
Several years ago, I went fishing with my friends, we caught many small fishes. I was particularly attracted to one of them which was struggling and seemed to be near death because it was out of water. I took it to make it lick some water but it slipped from my hand into the river and quickly swam away gloriously in the river.  I learnt a beautiful lesson, life becomes frustrating when we are out of our “grace” zone. Someone said that, “Everyone is a genius but tell a fish to climb a tree, it will look stupid”
Beloved, stop comparing yourself with another person. What God did for one He will do for another. But recognize your grace and stay in it.
I decree that you are unstoppable in the race of life in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: O God help me to walk with you all through my life, do great things through me and give me strength in the areas of my weaknesses in Jesus name.

The danger of pseudo prophetic ministry

“He said unto him, I am a prophet also as thou art; and an angel spake unto me by the word of the Lord, saying, Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he lied unto him.” 1 Kings 13:18
Encounter with true prophetic ministry can change your life forever but pseudo prophetic ministries are destiny destroyers.
Some of these pseudo-prophetic ministries could be psychological liars like the prophet in our text who would tell you what you want to hear, sweet to your hearing, but move you away from God into sudden destruction. While others are actually witchcraft ministries like that of Simon the sorcerer in Acts 8 pretending to be of God but are actually demonic.  These pseudo ministries prey on impatient and ignorant Christians who think that the super jet age is applicable to spiritual matters. Beloved, it is only in computer applications that you have instant money transfer; in spiritual matters, discipline, waiting on God, steadfastness and consistency in His word are important ingredients of true Godly interventions even in this 21st century.
To deal with these false prophetic ministries you must be rooted in the word of God and be sound in the things of the spirit as a result of consistent personal fellowship with God. You must also trust God with your life and be willing to walk in obedience with him. John advised today’s Christians in 1 John 4:1
“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.”
I decree that every encounter planned by the devil to truncate your destiny shall be frustrated in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: O God arise, expose and disgrace all pseudo prophetic ministries around me in Jesus name.

How to have good success

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein; for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua 1:8

You must become a good success if you want have a good success. One English correct term is calling man a human being. This mean a man must “be” before he can “do.” If you don’t receive enough formation (training) to become a doctor, you cannot do the work of a doctor.

In order to become a good success, you must check what you are eating: YOU MUST EAT THE WORD. Psalms 1 says, but his delight is in the law of the lord, and in his law he meditates. He does not just read, but he meditates, he thinks. If a man eats and it doesn’t digest, he will still be weak but a man that eats and gets the food digested, what happens? the vitamins goes to his bone, into his flesh, he becomes strengthened, and becomes energized to do work. The same happens to a lot of us except that most people don’t read the bible and few people meditate on the bible, so we lack spiritual strength to have good success. What empowers a man to become a success is revelation. And revelation comes by meditation. Reading the scriptures, thinking about it and asking for interpretation from the Holy Spirit is what will make you get the “vitamins” for good success.

But a lot of believers are neglecting the word, I observed that in many churches today, when the message is being preached, a lot of people are sleeping, they don’t listen, they are waiting for when the prayers will be called. And in some churches now, they are waiting for when the pastor will want to prophesy. If you’re not hearing the word, you are not going anywhere. The thing that will be build your destiny, that will build your life is revelation, and revelation comes by meditation. The Bible says, in His law he meditates day and night, he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water.

May you be hungry for revelation in the word. May you be equipped to be a good success in order to have good success in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: O God make me hungry for your word in Jesus name.

One important thing you must do!

“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,” Philippians 3:13

There is one important thing you must remember to do, forget the past, both the good and the bad, the successes and the failures.  You can learn from them but you cannot hold unto them. A lot of people are busy doing two things, they want to go to the new thing but they are still holding to the past thing so they are struggling. The enemy of the glorious future is the past, whether good or bad, you know some people are still celebrating the trophy they won seven years ago, they are on the same spot, while some people are still lamenting the failure they had three years ago.

The success of yesterday is gone so also the failure of yesterday. You used to speak in tongues and cast out devils, thank God for that, what is happening with your life now, you used to be the best in your class, yes, we give God the Glory but tell us what the story is right now. Even if you failed yesterday, don’t stay there. The past is always going to be the way it was, stop trying to change it. A man of God said don’t lament what you cannot amend.

God asked me to tell you, there is a glorious future ahead of you. Go for it, don’t allow you past to steal your energy.

Prayer for today: I am going into my promised land, nothing can stop me in Jesus name.

The King’s word

Kings know the importance of words and they don’t joke with it. The lives of people and the territory is determined by the words of the King. Kings are in control through their words. The bible calls you a king, this means your words are powerful. Rev 5:10 says, “And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.” Hear what a centurion said to the First Born in our family in Mathew 8:8, “The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.” And in Luke 10:17, “And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.” Beloved, your words can heal the sick, cast out devils, change situations, change your life and that of others. This is because you are a king and belong to the family of kings.

Two old testament scriptures are important to this revelation. The fist is Job 22: 28 which says, “Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.” The other is Isaiah 45:11, “Thus saith the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.”

The implication of this is that you can make things happen and change things around you through the use of your words.

You are a king equipped with words of power.

Prayer for today: I take authority over my divine allocation and territory, I subdue all opposing forces and I enforce the plans and the purposes of God in Jesus name.

The King’s heart

“It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter. The heaven for height, and the earth for depth, and the heart of kings is unsearchable. Take away the dross from the silver, and there shall come forth a vessel for the finer.” Proverbs 25:2-4

“The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.” Deuteronomy 29:29

The king’s heart is unsearchable but searches out a matter. Every real king has access to secrets and has been privileged to have answers to what others consider as mystery. The bible calls Christians, kings. Rev 5:10 says, “And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.” However, it is possible to be a “potential” king and still live as slave on earth. This happens if the king’s heart in you is not activated. If you always look for easy way and turn in another direction when you hit a wall instead of searching out things you may not realize the king in you. You must find out why things are not working the way you expected. You must find out the new things that can make your environment better. You must find out answers to your personal questions and that of others if you really want the honour of a king.

In the old testaments, kings relied on prophets, magicians and astrologers to search out things. You remember Joseph interpreting the dreams of Pharaoh when the magicians of Egypt failed. You can also remember Daniel interpreting the writings for Belshazzar by the spirit of God that dwelled in him. Elisha was telling the kings of Israel the plots of the king of Syria even his discussion in his bed chambers. In this dispensation we are equipped by the spirit of wisdom and revelation as a results of indwelling Holy Spirit in us.

Perhaps you are in a situation now that needs you to search out a matter, do it! Your honour lies in your discovery. Don’t forget my statement, there are no hard ground, there are only ignorant men.

May the king’s heart in you be activated in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: O God empower me to search out matters and make new discovery in Jesus name.

Bold declaration

“Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied. This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.” 1 Samuel 17:45-46

If you are faced with a Goliath, you cannot keep quiet. This is because apart from the fact that Goliath was experienced, strong and skillful, he knew the importance of words. Words are spiritual. Words are indication of both who you are and whose you are. If you are sure of these, you will always be able to declare boldly against whatever is harassing your life and destiny.

Goliath may not be a person, it may be a situation that wants to swallow you up and treat you as if you do not have a great God. Don’t permit it, declare boldly against it in the name of the Lord.

Three things are important to make bold declarations.

1.    Know that you are anointed. Psalm 105:14-15 says,” He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes; Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.”

2.    Know that God lives on the inside of you. 1 John 4: 4 says, “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”

3.    Know that you belong to God. Isaiah 43:1 says, “But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.”

I see the Goliath confronting you subdued before you in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I declare in the name of Jesus that every situation harassing my life shall turn around for my good in Jesus name.

Walking in possibilities 4

“But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble……..Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.” James 4: 6-10 (KJV)

Abundant grace to walk in possibilities Is available to them who humble themselves before God. God wants to be the all in all in your life so that His fullness can manifest through you. Paul put it this way in Philippians 2:13, “For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.” Jesus said in John 15:5, “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” It does not matter how talented, skillful or brilliant you are, empty yourself in humility before God and He will pour His grace into you. It was said about Saul in 1 Samuel 15:17, “And Samuel said, When thou wast little in thine own sight, wast thou not made the head of the tribes of Israel, and the Lord anointed thee king over Israel?” The words of David in 2 Samuel 6: 21, “ And David said unto Michal, It was before the Lord, which chose me before thy father, and before all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the Lord, over Israel: therefore will I play before the Lord.”

Two things are important indicators of humility, the first is giving glory to God in all things. The second is making personal fellowship with God the most important priority. Running out of the presence of God because your phone rang is an indication of pride: you are telling God that the man is more important than Him in your life. Also not spending personal time with God is an indication that God is not important in your life. These kinds of attitude deprive many of the grace and power of God to walk in possibilities.

May you be empty for God to fill you in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God fill me with abundant grace to walk in possibilities.

Walking in possibilities 3

“The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed,

Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked.” Acts 19:9-10

The kind of words you are listening to will determine whether you will walk in possibility or not. If you continually listen to the messages of faith, faith will be birthed in you and you will walk in possibilities. On the other hand, if you continue to listen to messages of unbelief, doubt is the fruit and this facilitates walking in impossibilities. In our text today, a crippled man listened to Paul and faith was birthed in him. Paul saw it and prayed for him, he regained the use of his legs.

Several years ago, I was invited by a Pastor to preach, I was not even ordained then. I preached on prayer changes all things. After the preaching I started leading prayers and one woman came to me. She had a twisted leg and asked me to pray for her healings. Although fear gripped me when I saw the leg, I closed my eyes and prayed, God healed her immediately. My position as at the time of praying did not matter because the woman had heard the word of faith and faith was birthed in her, positioning her for the possibility.

May the word of God profit you to walk in possibilities in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Lord, let your word come to me, let me be empowered to walk in possibilities in Jesus name.

Walking in possibilities 2

“Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?  If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;” John 10:34-35

Impossibilities only exist in the realm of man; all things are possible with God. But God has chosen to share His possibility nature with men through His word and His Spirit.

It was said of Daniel in Daniel 5:11, “There is a man in thy kingdom, in whom is the spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of thy father light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, was found in him; whom the king Nebuchadnezzar thy father, the king, I say, thy father, made master of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers;” Peter walked on water because Jesus told him to do so. “And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.” Mary a virgin became pregnant because the Holy Ghost came upon her. Paul put it this way in Ephesians 1:17-19, “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,”

As a new covenant child of God, to walk in possibilities, you need daily and consistent meditation on the word of God, baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongue, operation in the gift of the Holy spirit, absolute obedience, and trust in God and His word.

I decree all impossible situation shall become possible for you in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I receive the Spirit of wisdom and power in Jesus name.

Walking in possibilities 1

“But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.” Mathew 19:26

Certainly some things are impossible with men but the same things are possible with God. To walk in possibilities, you must be desperate for God.

Sometimes you are faced with a situation that looks so impossible that you don’t know what to do. I have seen it over and over again that turning to God will definitely bring solutions. Several years ago as a very young boy I was seeking admission into the University. I was seventeen but I had learned from my mother that God always help man. I wrote the university examination called JAMB in Nigeria on a Saturday. The exam did not look good; it was not that it was tough but something went wrong. I marked myself and it was glaring: failure was inevitable! The following Monday, I fasted and prayed asking God to turn the situation to success. And I also asked for a sign to assure me that the prayer was answered. I got the sign by the end of the day. At that time, I was doing the lower sixth (A level) program. I could remember that any time I got to school, my colleagues would be solving the JAMB questions and I could see that my answers were wrong. But I would say to myself whether I was wrong or right, I have gotten an admission. The results came out and I was in the first batch that got admitted to study chemical engineering.

Beloved, if it looks really impossible but you need it in your life, turn to God and don’t leave until you have an answer.

Prayer for today: The God that does wonders, I am available, do your wonder in my life today in Jesus name.

Discovery

“It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.” Proverbs 25:2

“The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.” Deuteronomy 29:29

Are you tired of being swallowed up in the crowd? then separate yourself for discovery of new things. People that discover, rule in the midst of men. In these days when Facebook and the likes combined with television are taking people’s time, only those who take time to make discovery using tools including those things that are distracting others, will dominate. There are no hard places in the world, but there are ignorant men!

God wants to show you something but the noise around you is too much, separate yourself. Hear this, some of you reading this message are so important to God that He will cause the separation to happen. He will cause a situation to drive you to separate yourself. Unfortunately, the situation may not be comfortable but it will achieve the result. You will be empowered to rule in the midst of men for God. That was what He did with Moses.

“Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb. And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.” Exodus 3:1-3.

Moses failed first in the assignment and was forced to flee to Midian. The shepherd of people became a shepherd of sheep for a season until he made a discovery that empowered him to succeed in his God-given mandate.

May you enter into the pool of God’s secrets in Jesus name.

You know what…you are correct!

“Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith, be it unto you.”” Mathew 9:29.

You attract into your life whatever you believe whether consciously or unconsciously. You cannot live above your conviction. Nothing is actually impossible until you believe it is so.

If you say yours is possible, you are correct, and if you say the opposite, you are also correct. But it will always be according to your faith.

I saw an humorous video of a child asking her mother how human being came about. The woman said God created man.  The child went to her father and asked the same question. The man told her that human being came from apes. When they were together, the child asked them who was lying about the origin of man. The woman said none of them was lying. She said she spoke about her family while her husband spoke of his own family.

“Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the Lord; Thus saith the Lord, To morrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.

Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, if the Lord would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.” 2 Kings 7:1-2.

Once you doubt it, you exclude yourself. Once you believe it, you include yourself! Either way you are correct.

Beloved, God ask me to tell you to believe Him and His word and even if you must doubt, doubt your doubt.

Prayer for today: Lord I believe, help my unbelief in Jesus name.

The constant yet the major factor!

“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” Hebrews 13:8 (KJV)

“For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.” Malachi 3:6 (KJV).

“And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him,” Acts 7:9 (KJV)

In destiny equation, God factor is a constant factor and the major factor. Every other factor can change: weather changes, economy changes, friends can change even you yourself can change, your beauty may change, your strength may dwindle and even your IQ. Only God remains unchanged in a changing environment and situation. To maintain glorious position in a changing world, God’s factor must be intact. You cannot go down if God is with you even in a dwindling economy. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. Because the Lord is constantly with the sons of Jacob, it is impossible for them to be consumed. Joseph became a commodity in the slave market but God was with him. He ended up becoming a Prime Minister in a strange land. Beloved, if your relationship with God remains unshaken, you cannot be shaken. I don’t care about where you live, whether in a village or in a city, whether in a developed country or in a developing country, spend time with God. Every important relationship needs an investment of time. Whatever you count important you give attention and invest time. If God factor is intact in your life, no matter your qualification or capability, your future is guaranteed. Spend time with Him, listen to Him, trust Him and obey Him.

I see the glory of God shining on you as you spend time Him.

Prayer for today: Oh God let your presence abide with me at all times in Jesus name.

Beyond the obstacle

“And David was then in an hold, and the garrison of the Philistines was then in Bethlehem. And David longed, and said, Oh that one would give me drink of the water of the well of Bethlehem, which is by the gate!” 2 Samuel 23:14-15

Any time you are going against an obstacle, there are good things beyond the obstacle. If it is not important, the enemy will not put an obstacle around it. So when you see an obstacle, don’t turn back. Break through it and take what belong to you. Precious metals are found under the ground, drilling through the obstacle is needed to get them. Beyond the red sea is the promised land.

In our text today, the enemy put their garrison in Bethlehem to prevent David from getting water from the well. In verse 16, three mighty men of David broke through the obstacle and brought David the water.

Perhaps you are faced with an obstacle right now, be convinced that the obstacle is there because there are good things beyond it. So what should you do? Confront the obstacle and don’t run from it. Speak against it in the name of Jesus. Get every information you need to get about the obstacle and take an informed action against it.

I see every obstacle crumbling before you this month in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: barrier, break in the name of Jesus.

Power of seeing

“The prophet asked, “What did they see in your palace?” “They saw everything in my palace,” Hezekiah said. “There is nothing among my treasures that I did not show them.”” 2 Kings 20:15 (NIV)

Until it is seen, it cannot be taken.

You need to see your divine allocation in order to take it. Also unless the enemy sees anything that belongs to you, he cannot steal it. I pray for you that your eyes be opened and that the eyes of your enemy be shut in Jesus name.

Hezekiah took the envoys from Babylon and showed them all his treasures, nothing was hidden from them. The Prophet came to him and told him that the king of Babylon shall take them. Anything you don’t want the enemy to steal, don’t show it to him.

God told Abraham in Genesis 13:14-15, “The Lord said to Abram after Lot had parted from him, “Look around from where you are, to the north and south, to the east and west. All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever.” This means if you can see it, God will give it to you.

As you enter the new month may your eyes be opened. May you possess your possessions in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: O God open my eyes that I may see wondrous things from your law.

The script about you is good!

“See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me.” Isaiah 49:16 (NIV)

“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” James 1:17

Untimely death is not in the script, neither is poverty and infirmity. Say no to whatever that is not in the script that the devil wants to put on you in the name of Jesus.

I watched a soap opera where someone was captured by his enemy and compelled to write a suicide note. After he had written the letter he was compelled to hang himself. I thought this guy was being taking out of the soap. But lo, my thought was wrong. He was found before he died and resuscitated. He could not die because the script writer did not write it so.

I am glad to announce to you that what the script writer wrote about you is good. It does not matter what you are going through, in the end it will be a good story for you. Our text this morning says, you are engraved in the palms of His hands. Stay within the script and reject whatever the script writer has not written about you.

I decree that only what God wrote about you shall come to pass in your life in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I cancel every evil thing that devil has written about me in Jesus name.

Strength for your destiny 3

“Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your Law, ‘I have said you are “gods”’? 35 If he called them ‘gods,’ to whom the word of God came—and Scripture cannot be set aside—“John 10:35 (NIV)

The word of God gives strength for destiny delivery. A servant is as powerful as the person who sent him.  Your destiny is an assignment from God therefore you are on assignment for God. God does not expect you to carry out your assignment alone. You must stay connected to the power in heaven that has sent you on assignment on earth. Your assignment positions you as a ‘god’ on earth. The reality of this is your access to the word of God for your life. You need access to the secrets of God in order to fulfil your destiny on earth.

“As I was in the days of my youth, when the secret of God was upon my tabernacle;” Job 29:4 (KJV)

“He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant: Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron: Until the time that his word came: the word of the Lord tried him.  The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free.” Psalms 105:17-20 (JKV)

“The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.” Psalm 25:14 (KJV)

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua 1:8 (KJV)

What should you do? Meditate on the scripture until a word comes to you.

I decree that the light of God shall enter into you and you will be changed into a new person in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: O God, grant me access to the mystery of your word in Jesus name.

Strength for your destiny 2

“And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.” John 14:16-17

Another source of strength for destiny delivery is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is a Person that has been assigned to help you in this destiny journey. He is an invisible companion at all time. He will comfort you, teach you and lead you if you allow Him in your life. His presence in your life is an indication of God’s power in your life. His anointing in your life is an empowerment to make things happen. He was with Jesus in His assignment on earth. He is also with you to overcome all the evil work and ensure that you are successful. If Jesus could not do without Him, you couldn’t as well. Act 10:38 says, “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.”

What should you do? Treat the Holy Spirit as a person. Learn to talk to Him and to hear Him talk to you. He is willing to guide you in all things, spend time with Him in fellowship as you would a physical friend. I pray in the name of Jesus that you will allow the Holy Spirit to take His place in your life.

Prayer for today: Holy Spirit, I believe you are a Person. Come into my life, help me, teach me, comfort me, lead me, guard me and guide me in Jesus name.

Strength for your destiny 1

Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the Lord: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.” Isaiah 66:9

Destiny delivery requires a push. God is ready to give you the strength needed for that push. You are here on earth already because God sent you. Let God help you to make your life count. Whether you are already successful or your success is on the way, the presence of God in your life will always give you an unusual push for destiny deliveries.

The first strength you need as a child of God is faith in the name of Jesus. Peter said in Acts 3:16, “And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.” This was about the lame man at the beautiful gate of the temple who received a miracle because Peter and John prayed in the name of Jesus. Your business, career, marriage, spiritual and physical life can always receive soundness and strength through faith in the name of Jesus. Never doubt the power that is in the name of Jesus. Your destiny can never be stranded if the name is believed and is put to use.

I see you manifesting the glory of God in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I command everything that is not working in my life to receive strength in Jesus name.

It is a testimony and not an adversity!

“And it shall turn to you for a testimony.” Luke 21:13

Testimonies are hidden in challenges. It is better to begin to see the testimonies in your adversities in order to be motivated and encouraged to overcome. You cannot have testimony of answered prayers if you have not needed to pray. You cannot have testimony of victory if you have not needed to fight. You cannot have testimony of a passed examination if you have not needed to write an examination. Every adversity is a testimony in disguise.  It is important to understand this so that your thinking, your speaking and your acting will be in favour of your testimony and not your challenges. Prolonged adversity is due to wrong thinking, wrong speaking and wrong acting. Every adversity has an expiry date.

“Run now, I pray thee, to meet her, and say unto her, Is it well with thee? is it well with thy husband? is it well with the child? And she answered, It is well:” 2 Kings 4:26

“For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.” Mark 5:28

“For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:” Job 19:25

What do you do? Keep on praying, keep on declaring your testimonies, keep on acting against your challenges, keep on believing God for your testimony. This is the word of the Lord: your testimony is nearer to you than your adversity.

Prayer for today: I receive God’s help today to turn my situation into a testimony in Jesus name.
