“And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into
Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about…… the
Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel
to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance
to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them
that are bruised,” Luke 4:14-18
You don’t need to become a Christian to become financially
rich but you need to be a Christian to be anointed of the Holy Spirit. To be a
breakthrough Christian, you must be anointed and stay anointed. A Christian has
been translated from the Kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of Jesus Christ
(1 Peter 2:9). You must be anointed not only to operate effectively in the
kingdom but also to have dominion over the kingdom of darkness you left. Your
breakthrough comes when you are anointed and you know it. It is an indication
that God is with you. Acts 10:38 says, “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with
the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that
were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” Acts 3:6 says, “Then Peter said, Silver and
gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ
of Nazareth rise up and walk.” You need the anointing to be effective and make a
difference as a Christian.
Beloved, we thank God that you are a Christian but
please get anointed.
Prayer for today: O God anoint me with the Holy
Ghost and power in Jesus name.
