“Now when the turn of Esther, the daughter of
Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her for his daughter, was come to
go in unto the king, she required nothing but what Hegai the king's
chamberlain, the keeper of the women, appointed. And Esther obtained favour in
the sight of all them that looked upon her.” Esther 2:15
The fourth breakthrough Christian experience is
baptism of favour. This kind of favour is as a result of God’s presence and His
hands upon your life. It does not depend on what you can or cannot do. It is as
a result of God’s choice of you which makes men to prefer you above others. In
our text the bible says, “Esther obtained favour in the sight of all them that
looked upon her.” She was carrying favour because she was wrapped with favour
by God. Joseph obtained favour from Pharaoh because God gave him favour in the
sight of Pharaoh (Acts 7:10). The bible says concerning Jesus in Luke 2:52, “And
Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.” You are
entitled to this kind of favour because you are a Christian and in a covenant
of relationship with God. Ask God for this baptism until you experience it.
May God choose you and anoint you with favour in
Jesus name.
Prayer for today: Oh God, baptist me with favour in
Jesus name. Let your favor speaks for me wherever I am in Jesus name.
