“And it shall turn to you for a testimony.”
Luke 21:13
Testimonies are hidden in challenges. It is
better to begin to see the testimonies in your adversities in order to be
motivated and encouraged to overcome. You cannot have testimony of answered
prayers if you have not needed to pray. You cannot have testimony of victory if
you have not needed to fight. You cannot have testimony of a passed examination
if you have not needed to write an examination. Every adversity is a testimony
in disguise. It is important to
understand this so that your thinking, your speaking and your acting will be in
favour of your testimony and not your challenges. Prolonged adversity is due to
wrong thinking, wrong speaking and wrong acting. Every adversity has an expiry
date.
“Run now, I pray thee, to meet her, and say
unto her, Is it well with thee? is it well with thy husband? is it well with
the child? And she answered, It is well:” 2 Kings 4:26
“For she said, If I may touch but his clothes,
I shall be whole.” Mark 5:28
“For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that
he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:” Job 19:25
What do you do? Keep on praying, keep on
declaring your testimonies, keep on acting against your challenges, keep on
believing God for your testimony. This is the word of the Lord: your testimony
is nearer to you than your adversity.
Prayer for today: I receive God’s help today
to turn my situation into a testimony in Jesus name.
