They will soon change their mind

“Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god.” Acts 28:6 (KJV)

I have a prophetic word for someone going through one battle or another because of righteousness or destiny or call or a divine assignment. Specifically for someone who people are already speaking evil about you or thinking things will go worse.  Receive the word of the Lord: They will soon change their mind. The negative they are expecting will not come to pass. You will come out of the battle victoriously in Jesus.

“And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand.  And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live. And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm.” Acts 28:3-5KJV

“Let them not say in their hearts, Ah, so would we have it: let them not say, We have swallowed him up.” Psalms 35:25KJV

The people of the Island of Melita saw the deadly snake attach itself to Paul. They concluded that vengeance had come upon him, and he would soon fall down and die. He just shook the beast inside the fire and continued to warm himself. When they saw that he didn’t die and knew that many people had been killed by the snake, they changed their minds and concluded he was a god. Beloved, your case is different, this battle will not kill you. The same people who are mocking you will gather together to celebrate you in Jesus' name.

May you shake the “serpent” inside the fire in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God arise and give me victory this month, don’t let people say they have swallowed me up in Jesus' name.

Salvation: Lord Jesus, I believe in the forgiveness of sin and in the redemption from the power of darkness through your blood. I confess you as my Savior and Lord.  I invite you into my life to save my soul. Holy Spirit, come into my heart and make me what you want me to be. Thank you Lord for saving me in Jesus name.

Know His ways

“He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.” Psalms 103:7 (KJV)

There is a big difference between a Christian who seeks the ways of the Lord and one that is seeking miracles (the act of God). If you seek and find the ways of the Lord, you will not need to seek miracles, you will be the miracle. Christians who know the ways of the Lord walk in His wisdom and power. If you desire to know God’s ways, you will give the word of God and fellowship with the Holy Spirit the first priority in your life.

“And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.” Daniel 11:32KJV

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28KJV

Your true strength as a Christian is your knowledge of the way of the Lord and obedience to His will. This is what gives you confidence and stability in any season of life. This is also your guarantee of victory and exploits no matter what is happening around you. You can accurately predict the future if you know the ways of God.

May you know and walk in the ways of the Lord in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God reveal Your ways to me in Jesus' name.

You and words 6

“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:” Deuteronomy 30:19 (KJV)

You can choose life or death by the words of your mouth. Any spoken word is never neutral, it is either positive or negative, a blessing or a curse, faith-filled or fear-filled. Negative words kill while positive words give life. No matter how talented or hardworking you are, your words can give life to your results or kill them. Use words to your advantage; stop cursing yourself and start blessing yourself.

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: And they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” Proverbs 18:21 KJV

“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” John 6:63 KJV

Stop also listening to negative words. Words are seeds, and your mind is fertile soil. If you keep on listening to fear-filled, negative, cursed words, you will produce death. But if you keep on listening to faith-filled, positive, and blessed words, you will produce life. Your choice of life is based on the word you hear and speak.

Be blessed in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: I choose life in every area of my life, I shall live and not die in Jesus' name.

You and words 5

“But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” Psalm 1:2-3 (KJV)

Delight in God’s word. The word of God will change your life, change your situation and empower you to change your world. You will be fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God, if you study the word, think the word, act on the word, and speak the word. The word of God will change your thinking to God’s way of thinking and will help you to follow Him more closely. As a matter of fact, your Christianity is questionable if you don’t delight in God’s word.

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15KJV

“And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.” Acts 20:32KJV

Don’t be a fire brigade Christian build yourself in the word of God. The Bible is the foundation for doctrine, the words in it will reproof, correct, and instruct you in righteousness (to live like God on earth). Attend bible study, study Bible on your own, and read books on biblical topics. God will reveal His way to you if you give yourself to meditating on His word (Psalm 103:7).

May you grow in the knowledge of God’s word in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, baptize me with a hunger and a thirst for Your word in Jesus' name.

You and words 4

“And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.” Genesis 1:3 (KJV)

Our worlds are created by our words. The truth is that two people may live in the same area and yet exist in different worlds. The way you use or don’t use words will determine the world you live in. Storms, mountains, hardship, sickness, poverty, and failure cannot exist where the word of God is allowed and declared. Jesus was peacefully sleeping in the same boat where the disciples were tormented by a storm. He only had to speak a word to establish a world of peace around them.

“And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.” Mark 4:39KJV

“Run now, I pray thee, to meet her, and say unto her, Is it well with thee? is it well with thy husband? is it well with the child? And she answered, It is well:” 2 Kings 4:26kJV

What you continually say matters, it creates your world. You can change your world by changing your word. If you start to fill your heart with the word of God, you begin to build your power to change your world. Never declare what you don’t want in your life. It is better to keep quiet than to declare what you don’t want in your life or what God has not spoken concerning you

May your word align with the word of God in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Let there be peace and prosperity in my world in Jesus' name.

You and words 3

“The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.” Matthew 8:8 (KJV)

All spiritual battles are won or lost with words. And you know spiritual victory precedes physical victory. Also, there is power in your words. You can bring healing and deliverance into your life and the lives of others by speaking the word of God. You can defeat the enemies by speaking against them. Never speak defeat into your life, no matter the situation you are going through. You are responsible for the word that comes out of your mouth.

“No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.” Isaiah 54:17KJV

“He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their d Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.” 1 Samuel 17:44kJV

Most times the evidence of the condemnation of the enemies in our lives is the affliction that we go through. The tongue of the enemy is his weapon against you. God has said his weapon cannot prosper against you, so don’t join the enemy to speak the word of condemnation against yourself. Rather, bring judgement against the enemy and his activities in your life.

May you judge the enemy by the word of your mouth in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: I judge the enemies in my life and condemn their work in Jesus' name.

You and words 2

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17 (KJV)

The most important word you must hear and believe is the word of God. The word of God is the origin of faith, which is the key to receiving from God. When faith is in place on any issue of life, victory is inevitable. The easiest way to get a solution to any problem is to listen to the word of God repeatedly on the problem until faith is born within you. At that point, you walk into your breakthrough and discovered that you have received something from God.

“And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother's womb, who never had walked: THE SAME HEARD PAUL SPEAK: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed, Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked.” Acts 14:8-9KJV emphasis mine

“He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.” Psalms 107:20KJV

Every need in a man’s life is a faith need. Perhaps you need healing or deliverance in any area of your life, let the word of God be played for you until you receive the faith that you need. The centurion in Matthew 8:8 said to Jesus, “… speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.” He understood the mystery of the working of the word of God. Stop listening to fear-filled words and start listening to faith-filled words for positive results in your life. The word of God is the word of faith.

May faith be born in you in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, give me the grace to give priority to Your word in my life in Jesus' name.

You and words 1

“But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” Matthew 4:4 (KJV)

Man is a triune being; he is a spirit, he has a soul and lives in a body. Your body feeds on physical food, but your spirit and soul feed on words. Your life depends on words you heard or didn’t hear, believed or doubted, acted upon or rejected, spoken or unspoken. Words are not ordinary, they are personalities. Actually, a man is his word. A man is as powerful as his word. You can be broken by a word, and you can be revived by a word.

“Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?” Ecclesiastes 8:4KJV

“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” John 1:14KJV

You cannot be casual with words, it is our lives and form our worlds. If you reject a word you should believe, you will be in trouble. Can you imagine a person who is told the gospel and rejected; the person rejects the gospel at the risk of eternal damnation. From today, I will be sharing about you and words. You can use words to bind and you can use words to lose. Words can wound you, words can heal you.

May you use your words to your destiny's advantage in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let me hear the right word today and always in Jesus' name.

The art of waiting upon the Lord

“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31(KJV)

When you need direction or your strength is inadequate, the answer is in waiting upon the lord. When your goal is beyond you and your weakness is obvious, the answer is in waiting upon the Lord.  If you desire to engage in the marathon of life without getting weary or tired, then you must understand the art of waiting on the Lord. God’s wisdom, grace, strength, and power are made available through His word and His Spirit. The art of waiting on the Lord is the ACT of separation or isolation to refuel.  The fuel is His word and His Spirit in and upon our lives.

“And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.” Luke 4:14KJV

“And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the Lord God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.” 1 Kings 17:1KJV

The crowd is like a “grave” when you need a new direction or a new strength for your destiny. You must separate yourself from the crowd and isolate yourself from their noise. This is the first step in waiting on the Lord. Leave television and phone alone unless there is a message relevant to the waiting that you want to listen to or watch. The art of waiting involves reading the bible, listening to messages, praying, and keeping quiet before the Lord until His Spirit enters into you and His word comes to you.

May you be empowered by God in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Let the Word of the Lord come unto me, and let His Spirit possess me in Jesus' name.

Gaining mastery in all things 7

“But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name.” Philippians 2:7-9 (KJV)

I want to conclude this series by stating that the way of mastery is the same as the way of humility. Who is your spiritual mentor? Who is your father in the Lord? I believe that your Pastor should have the role of both a spiritual mentor and father in your life. The other way to ask this question is to say, who talks to you and you listen? And who is speaking into your life? If you are walking in rebellion in any form, you cannot master anything. Please don’t confuse spiritual gifts with spiritual maturity. You can have spiritual gifts and not mature spiritually. Also, attitude determines altitude in all business of life. A humble attitude is a prerequisite to divine lifting.

“But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.” James 4:6KJV

“Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.” 1 Peter 5:5KJV

Beloved, pride is a dead end while humility is a thoroughfare. The Bible says pride goes before destruction (Prov 16:18). If you are driven by the spirit of humility, you will learn obedience that is able to empower you for spiritual mastery. Don’t be too big or too old to learn. It is by grace and not by age.

May God give us understanding in this matter in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let the mind of Christ be in me in Jesus' name.

Gaining mastery in all things 6

“Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.” Zechariah 4:6 (KJV)

You must know how to yield to the Holy Spirit and walk in His counsel to gain mastery in all things. The Holy Spirit has been sent to abide with us forever, to teach us, lead us, counsel us, comfort us, and help us. If we yield to Him, we will win over the flesh and the power of darkness and we will through His wisdom gain mastery in all things. There is actually little or nothing we can achieve without the Holy Spirit. Jesus said it was better for Him to go so that the Holy Spirit could come and be with us.

“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” John 6:63KJV

“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” Romans 8:11KJV

Don’t just speak in tongues, learn to listen to the Holy Spirit and to yield to His voice every day. You know you have the best teacher in Him who is a master in all things Himself. He is our key access into the mystery of God’s word. He is our power to make things happen. If you begin to understand and prioritize fellowship with the Holy Spirit, you will gain mastery in all things.

May you give the Holy Spirit room in your life in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Holy Spirit possess me, teach me and lead me in Jesus' name.

Gaining mastery in all things 5

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled me.” Matthew 5:6 (KJV)

You must hunger and thirst for more of God, if you want mastery in spiritual matters. I wish we could be done learning about God but no, we cannot finish in the school of the spirit. We must stay at the feet of Jesus till we leave this temporal world. You must desire more of God and never get satisfied. As we do so, we will be exposed to more of God’s wisdom and power. Those who know God shall be strong and do great exploits.

“As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?.” Psalms 42:12KJV

“Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.” John 6:67-68KJV

As long as you remain empty God will fill you. You must never get to a state of satisfaction in spiritual matters. Read your bible over and over again. Be active in Christian fellowship and make yourself available for the use of God. Covet all spiritual gifts. This is the only situation that covetousness is allowed. Only the things that God reveals to you belong to you and I am glad that if you stay hungry and thirsty, God will reveal more to you.

May you never be satisfied in your knowledge of God in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, make me hunger and thirst for more of you in Jesus' name.

Gaining mastery in all things 4

“I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.” John 5:30 (KJV)

Let us talk about the discipline of hearing and obeying God as one of the most important actions for gaining mastery to obtain an incorruptible crown. Every man on earth is hearing and obeying someone, whether consciously or unconsciously. It depends on what you are seeking. Jesus said He sought the will of God and not His own will, because of this, He totally depended on God and listened to Him. This was the reason why He had mastery of all things. The truth is that you cannot gain mastery in spiritual matters without hearing God as a lifestyle.

“And the Lord came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth.” 1 Samuel 3:10KJV

“Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.” John 6:67-68KJV

You cannot hear without listening, although you can listen without hearing. Discipline yourself to listen and to hear.  Spend time in fellowship with God and meditate on His word. If you hear God and obey Him, you will always make wise decisions and take wise actions. More importantly, you will have mastery in spiritual matters. The best results are for those who listen to God and obey Him. Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.

May you live on God’s word in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, speak, for I am listening to hear you in Jesus' name.

Gaining mastery in all things 3

“No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.  And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.” 2 Timothy 2:4-5 (KJV)

We cannot afford to be spiritually mediocre, we must master the things of the spirit for us to prevail on earth. We need a soldier mentality and also an understanding of spiritual laws to avoid spiritual mediocrity. Soldiers go through training that civilians don’t. This is what builds resilience in them and also the capability to strategically win in battles. The training is done in a simulated environment for the kind of hardship they may face in battle.  Now it becomes difficult for the army when the soldiers begin to drop discipline and copy civilians in their way of doing things. This is the situation of the church and the world today. This explains why the church is losing power, specifically in matters relating to worldliness and sinful lifestyles.

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;).” 2 Corinthians 10:3-4KJV

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua 1:8KJV

A carnally-minded soldier is in danger of becoming a casualty in the midst of battle. You must discipline yourself in the word and in prayer for you to develop the spiritual mind of a faithful Christian soldier on earth. This is where your spiritual mastery lies. You cannot copy the way of the world for any reason. Our kingdom is higher and superior to this world. Our kingdom is everlasting, beginning from temporal to extending into eternity.

You are a soldier of the Lord, may you master spiritual discipline in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, deliver me from carnality and worldliness in Jesus' name.

Gaining mastery in all things 2

“And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.” 1 Corinthians 9:25 (KJV)

If your goal is mastery in anything in this world, then you must exercise discipline and self-control. To exercise discipline and self-control is to say no to certain things because of your goal and to make yourself do what you are supposed to, whether it is convenient or not. I have heard of people who trained for hours for many years because they wanted to be a champion in a game. They will avoid food that others would love to eat and refrain from things that can damage their fitness. I have seen people go through discipline and self-control because they have targets in their secular work. They desired to excel and be at the top. However, these same people will complain about biblical discipline. They want to live anyhow and still be Christians. The truth is that grace is available for us to engage in biblical discipline and self-control to obtain the incorruptible crown. Grace is not an excuse to avoid the discipline and the self-control we need to engage in.

“Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.” Matthew 16:24KJV

“But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.” 1 Corinthians 15:10KJV

Beloved, if you desire spiritual mastery, you will separate yourself from the way the people of this world live particularly the things they do against God and His word. You will discipline yourself to listen to God and to walk in His ways. No man that wars entangles himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who has chosen him to be a soldier. And if a man also strives for masteries, he is not crowned, except he strives lawfully.

May you strive lawfully in spiritual matters in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, break me, mold me, fill me, and use me in Jesus' name.

Gaining mastery in all things 1

“And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.” 1 Corinthians 9:25 (KJV)

From today and in the next few days, I will like to share with you the art of gaining mastery in all things. I mean all things because we will be talking about mastery for both the corruptible and incorruptible crown. Let me differentiate between the two. The corruptible crown is temporal, but the incorruptible crown is eternal. If you gain mastery in obtaining the incorruptible crown, you will also have the potential and capacity to master the corruptible. This is because gaining mastery for the incorruptible crown is not a religious issue but a relationship issue. A relationship of learning at the feet of Jesus and doing whatever He tells you.

“And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Matthew 4:19KJV

“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” Mark 8:36-37KJV

If you gain mastery for the corruptible crown, you may gain the whole world. However, what shall it profit you if you don’t have mastery for the incorruptible crown and you lose your soul? Luke 16:19-31, Luke 10:38-42). Having said that we will discuss tomorrow the fact that every man that strives for the mastery is temperate (disciplined and exercises self-control) in all things.

May you gain understanding in this matter in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, give me the grace to listen to you in all things in Jesus' name.

The secret you must know

“The king answered and said to the Chaldeans, The thing is gone from me: if ye will not make known unto me the dream, with the interpretation thereof, ye shall be cut in pieces, and your houses shall be made a dunghill.” Daniel 2:5 (KJV)

Nebuchadnezzar told the Chaldeans that if they did not reveal his dream and the interpretation, he would kill them and make them desolate. These people are knowledgeable in something that gave them the opportunity to serve the king. However, they were going to be destroyed for a secret that they did know. The problem is that a lot of Christians are suffering today for the secret that they must know but did know.

“The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.” Deuteronomy 29:29KJV

“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,  And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,,” Ephesians 1:17-19KJV

You are born of God as a believer in Christ, please don’t die cheaply, and don’t live below your divine destiny. We live in a strange and wicked world. But the good news is that if we walk with God in the light of His word, we will not live a defeated life. You cannot be ignorant about the wickedness that surrounds you and the power you have over them. Ask God to reveal to you the secrets you must know. It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honor of kings is to search out a matter.

May you not be ignorant of what you should know in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, give me the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in Jesus' name.

Is there not a cause?

“And David said, What have I now done? Is there not a cause?” 1 Samuel 17:29 (KJV)

For every effect, of course, there is a cause. Finding and dealing with the root cause of a matter is the beginning of a lasting and sustainable solution to the matter. If you see a system that is working or someone that is getting results, there is a secret and there is a cause. If you find out, you also can repeat the result or you can put in place the system. Also, if something is not working, there is also a cause, if you find the root cause, you can deal with it.

“And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.” Matthew 3:10KJV

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,” Luke 13:12KJV

Some issues will keep coming back until the root cause is dealt with. If you are confronted by such a repetitive solution, you must dig through to the root. Your weapon is thinking and praying. You can think through the matter, and you can also pray through the matter. Since as a believer, the power of God is at work in you, you can always deal with the cause of any matter.

It is a week of positive testimony for you in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: I uproot the root cause of any long stand challenge in my life in Jesus' name.

Woman, why weepest thou?

“Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.” John 20:15 (KJV)

Today is Mother’s Day, for all mothers and aspiring mothers, Jesus knows your pain, weep no more. He knows your weeping particularly when you seek something that is important to your heart and it seems it has been taken by the enemy. He is available to provide and restore what you seek. He is available to respond to your need. The night of weeping is over. The morning of joy is here. Whatever is holding what you seek shall forcefully release it. Only believe, turn to the Lord, and do whatever He tells you to do.

“For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” Psalms 30:5KJV

“And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.” Luke 13:12KJV

For every woman who is presently weeping because she seeks motherhood, the Lord is saying to you weep no more. I decree that the gate of motherhood is open for you in Jesus' name. For every woman who is weeping because of the pain of seeking a caring husband or a loving child, weep no more because your joy shall be full. For every woman, even mothers, who are bound emotionally, physically, or spiritually, you are loosed from your infirmity in Jesus' name,

Mothers, stop weeping, your joy is now in Jesus' name. Happy Mother’s Day.

Prayer for today: The night of my weeping is over, my morning of joy has come in Jesus' name.

Don’t miss His voice

“Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?” John 4:14 (KJV)

No matter the situation, don’t miss the voice of the Holy Spirit, and don’t mix His voice with another. Whether at the time of planting or at the time of harvest, never miss His voice. You need to know that the enemy is always targeting His voice in your life. He knows that if you either miss or mix His voice, you will not think right, And if you don’t think right you will act wrongly.  No good or bad situation is more significant than God’s voice in your life. If His voice is clear, you will never need to worry.

“For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve,  Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee. Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.” Acts 27:23-26KJV

“And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.  And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.  But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.” Matthew 14:28-30KJV

Now this is the message, the voice of the storm may be louder, but it is not stronger. His voice is stronger than the storm and its voice. The wisdom and the power of God are made available to you through His voice. If you get it right with His voice, the outcome of any situation is predictable and it is VICTORY.

You will never be confused by the enemy, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, help me to get it right with Your voice in Jesus' name.

There is a source

“But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.” John 4:14 (KJV)

Yesterday, I shared with you about the fact that there is a course. This morning, I want you to understand that although there is a course, there is also a source that cannot run dry. If you understand this scripture and walk in it, you will always have divine provision to finish your course successfully. Here, I am talking about the source of provision of both spiritual and physical needs for your mission to be accomplished.  Whatever assignment God has given you, you are only a channel. If you are in contact with the source, you can never fail or run dry.

“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” John 15:4KJV

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:13KJV

The message is saying if you stay connected with God and His Holy Spirit, you will have nothing to worry about. In actual fact, you will be amazed at the level of results you that you will deliver continuously. You cannot be threatened by the enormous task when you understand the unlimited strength of your God. Beloved, please maintain fellowship with the Holy Spirit, listen to Him, and obey Him. If you do, the source will keep on flowing through you.

You are a channel, stay connected with the source, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, pour yourself into me and strengthen me in Jesus' name.

There is a course

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:” 2 Timothy 4:7 (KJV)

Life is a course that must be finished. Life is a mission that must be accomplished.  Until you see life this way, you may be running as though beating the air. This means that you must know your purpose and establish your aim. You must treat life with a sense of mission and direction. Life is also a fight of faith. This means that there will be challenges that will want to distract you from your mission. The challenges must be fought and overcome through faith. Faith is an indication that you have heard God. If you keep the faith, you will finish the course.

“I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.” 1 Corinthians 9:26-27KJV

“Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision: But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.” Acts 26:19-20 KJV

Every issue in this world is waiting for a man with a mission (Romans 8:19), and that is you. The question is, do you know the course you are engaged in? Do you know the race that is set before you? You can easily answer this question based on what you have invested your time in. Please define clearly your mission and pursue it with all your strength.

You are a man on a mission, you will finish your course, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, use me to fulfill your purpose on earth in Jesus' name.

Don’t fear failure

“The lazy one [manufactures excuses and] says, “There is a lion outside! I will be killed in the streets [if I go out to work]!”” Proverbs 22:13 (AMP)

The fear of failure is the beginning of failure. The fear of failure is one major reason why most people don’t take action on their ideas. The truth is that if you refuse to do something, you have accepted failure. However, if you start taking steps toward your dreams, you will learn along the way, but you will be successful. People who are successful have failed many times, but they don’t call it failure. They call it the learning curve. Archbishop Idahosa said it is more risky not to take risks.  The wise man says an excuse not to do something amounts to laziness.

“If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die.” 2 Kings 7:4 KJV

“For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.” Romans 8:15 KJV

The message for you today is that you should do something about the idea God has given you. If you don't, someone else will receive the idea and run with it. Put your hand on the plough and don’t look back until you are successful. Think of it this way, the God who gave you the idea is your Father, and He will see you through.

May you take the first step today and never look back, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Help me, Oh God, to do something worthwhile with my life in Jesus' name.

You can breakthrough within a day!

“Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.” Isaiah 66:8 (KJV)

Beloved, it does not take forever to break through in prayer. Hear the word of the Lord; you can break through on any issue in prayer within a day. If you are ready, focused, and passionate as a woman in childbirth, there is no issue in life you cannot get through in prayer within a day. It does not matter how long the issue has been; when you are ready, you get your breakthrough. It did not take Elijah many days to bring the rain back to Israel; when he was ready, he got the breakthrough.

“So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees, And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, There is nothing. And he said, Go again seven times. And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man's hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down that the rain stop thee not.” 1 Kings 18:42-44

“And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him. And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.” Genesis 32:24-26

What of Jacob? When he was ready to get his blessing in the right way, he did not take him many days. He prayed through in a single night. You know what? When you are ready and desperate enough, you will shut the door behind you, switch off your phone, and pray till you get an answer. The good news is that it won’t take a whole day.

You are getting your breakthrough right now, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let my story change for the better right now in Jesus' name.

The season shall change

“Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved himself, and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh.” Genesis 41:14 (KJV)

I have a word for someone who longs for a change of season this morning: The season shall change. Your harvest shall come, and your hair shall grow again. Joseph, despite his dreams, went through many seasons in life. The worst could have been his time in prison. However, it turned out to be his closest opportunity that eventually opened the door to the throne for him.  He maintained his joy and his contributions despite the odds against him. My word to you this morning is to keep your joy and keep on growing. The opportunity that will change your season will come, but you must be ready and prepared.

“Howbeit the hair of his head began to grow again after he was shaven.” Judges 16:22

“Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:” Daniel 2:21-22

Daniel called God the season changer, and I agree. When God visits a man, He changes his season. When God visits a land, He changes its season (Ruth 1:6). Get ready! God will visit you, and your season will change. Please, as you continue to pray, work on yourself. Personal development is the key to appropriating opportunities. Learn new skills and develop the ones that you already have.

You shall laugh last in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: The God that changes times and seasons, visit me and change my season in Jesus' name.

Think deep and give thanks

“I will sing of the mercies of the Lord for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.” Psalms 89:1 (KJV)

It is the first Sunday in the fifth month, and for us as a church, every first Sunday is a Thanksgiving Sunday.  Anyone who can think deeply will know how to give thanks. Our mouths must speak continuously of God’s mercy and goodness in our lives. It is by His mercy that we have not been consumed. Many are dying, and many are unable to come out of the snare of the enemy, but for us, the snare is broken and we have escaped.

“It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23

“Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.” Psalms 124:7

Just think about it this way, God has given you a brand new day, so He is giving you an opportunity to express your destiny. Give thanks. Thanksgiving is also access to His presence and more of His love. As you give thanks and praise to the Lord, may He cause your joy to be full in Jesus' name. Cast your burden on the Lord through thanksgiving, for He cares for you.

May you experience the love of God every day of your life in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, I am very grateful for all you have done for me and for what you will yet do for me in Jesus' name.
