Seeking God

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:10-13

Seeking precedes finding. Jeremiah revealed to us the mystery behind seeking and finding God. I will simply explore this morning. How desperate are you to find God? You cannot find God and remain the same. It does not matter your history or present situation, there is always a radical transformation in the life of a person who finds God, both physically and spiritually. May you seek and find God early in Jesus name. Three actions are important in seeking God. The first is trust, the second is pray, the third is wholehearted.

Trust: God wants to give you an expected end. You can trust God with your life. You can be confident that He can take good care of you. If you don’t trust God, you cannot seek Him successfully. God has a good plan for you. His plan may be different from yours, but I can assure you that His plan is the best for you. God can be trusted more than your mother that gave birth to you (Isaiah 49:15-16)

Pray: If you trust God, you will turn to Him in prayer. Jeremiah said if you trust Him and pray, He will answer you. We have many promises from Him that He will hear us: Jeremiah 33:3, Mathew 7:7, Luke 18:7. When seeking God in prayer, never stop until you have been visited by Him. If you trust Him, you will stay long enough in prayer for Him to visit you.

Wholehearted: You must seek him with an undivided heart (mind). The enemy of wholeheartedness is an alternative. If you have an alternative you cannot seek God with your whole heart. When you seek Him in prayer don’t let your mind waver. James 1:6-8. You want to get to the land where you will find God, you must seek Him with your whole heart and not a divided heart. Don’t put a leg in the water and another on the land. You must put both legs in the water if you want the water to divide.

May God visit you today in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God give me a personal encounter that will change my life in Jesus name.

Call to Salvation: Lord Jesus, I believe in the forgiveness of sin and in the redemption from the power of darkness through your blood. I confess you as my Savior and Lord.  I invite you into my life to save my soul. Holy Spirit, come into my heart and make me what you want me to be. Thank you Lord for saving me in Jesus name.

Fasting and prayer

“Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.” Matthew 17:21

We dwell in a realm of man that is being controlled indirectly by spirits. Spirits cannot do anything on earth without a physical container. Since Adams opened the door to satan, men have been under the influence of demonic spirits as well. Your redemption positions you to be an instrument of God in this world through the fullness of the Holy Spirit. Prayer and fasting will remove spiritual barriers and position you for God’s visitation. Prayer and fasting bring power to overcome demonic spirits.

“Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.” Esther 4:16

“And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.” Acts 9:9

You can stop the activities of demons, recover what has been stolen from you, and stop demonically motivated men from attacking you in every way by engaging the weapon of prayer and fasting. Powerlessness, which is a major cause of destiny failure, can be overcome by prayer and fasting. You can remove mountains, and enforce your breakthrough using the instrument of prayer and fasting. If you are tired of your present position, you can enforce your promotion to the next level through prayer and fasting. As this month is running to an end, I want to encourage you to join me in a 3-day prayer and fasting for breakthrough starting today and ending on Friday. Please connect with me on my Facebook page at 5pm South African time. May you experience divine intervention in every area of your life in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, visit me by fire and change my story in Jesus name.

Total Recovery 5

“Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.” Matthew 12:29

Recovery is a fight but you are doing the fighting from the winning side. If you are on the Lord’s side, you cannot lose the recovery battle if you are persistent, consistent, and violent in the spirit. The robber is satan, you have dominion over him, total recovery is possible, you only need to do the recovery on your knee and pray through. The major prayer point for total recovery is the prayer of binding and loosing. If you can bind the strongman, you can recover what he took from you. The good news is that you can.

“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.” Mathew 11:12
“And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Matthew 16:19

Have you identified anything that the enemy stole from you? Are you ready to take it back? If so, this is what you should do: You should be prepared to take a single prayer point and pray it for hours or until you have the assurance that you have got through. Fasting and vigil are great boosters for speedy and quick results. After giving God praise, repenting from your sin, sanctifying yourself with the blood of Jesus, and asking for a fresh anointing, you will pray like this: I bind the robbers and I take back everything you took from me in Jesus name. If you are sensitive to the Holy Spirit, He will give you a specific prayer point for your case. You shall surely recover all in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I bind the strongman and I take back what belongs to me in Jesus name.

Total Recovery 4

“And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck.” Genesis 27:40

No servitude or robbery experience can continue beyond the acquisition of dominion. When a man gets dominion and he puts it to use, the activity of the strongman and the robber is over. Jesus came to restore dominion to as many as would believe. If you are a Christian, you actually have what it takes to end demonic robbery in your life and to recover all that the enemy has stolen from you.

“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” John 1:12
“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Luke 10:19

Your redemption was enforced by power, so also power is needed for a victorious Christian life. The power that raised Christ from the dead is in you. Jesus has given you the power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. The enemy is aware of the power you carry, don’t be ignorant of it. Heaven has released dominion into you to recover all. May you exercise the dominion and take back what belongs to you.

Prayer for today: I take authority of every personality that has robbed me and I take back what belongs to me in Jesus name.

Total Recovery 3

“Neither give place to the devil.” Ephesians 4:27

The robbery would not have taken place if the thief had not gained access. Total recovery can be enforced by cleaning the house of your life and shutting the door against the robber. The thief is like a snake, he could not have come in except that the edge was broken. He is also a thief that always comes in the night when a man is sleeping. For many the enemy had come in before they became born again. This means the enemy needs to be driven out for total recovery to take place.

“But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.” Matthew 13:25
“He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him.” Ecclesiastes 10:8

Many good Christians suffer from the robbery of satan because of access he had into their lives before they were converted. But, our redemption right empowers us to deal with his stronghold in our lives and to drive him out. Idolatry, unknown commitments, inherited curses, unknown covenant, evil dedication and such, is the door through which the robber came. The scripture is clear that the finished work of Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary had dealt with all these (Col 2:14-15; Gal 3:13, Col 1:13-14). Use the blood of Jesus and the name of Jesus to deal with any of them and tell the enemy to leave the camp of your life.

Prayer for today: I cleanse my body, soul, and spirit from whatever gave the thief access into my life with the blood of Jesus in Jesus name.

Total Recovery 2

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” John 10:10

It does not matter the strength of the robber; total recovery is possible. However, you need to know who the real thief is. The real robber is satan. He may use human beings and even use you to rob you by manipulating you. You must know that whenever something has been stolen, the real personality behind it is satan. The overall intention is to kill and destroy you. The good news is that Jesus has come to empower you to recover all.

“And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?” Luke 13:16
“He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” 1 John 5:14

Do not make a mistake and think you are dealing with a human being if you observe that something has been stolen from you. Satan will like to hide so that you can direct your prayer effort to the wrong channel. He is the enemy and he is very subtle. He will even show up as an angel of light. You must not be ignorant of his devices if you want to recover all. May your eyes be opened, may you experience total recovery in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: You robber operating against my life and destiny, be exposed, and be disgraced in Jesus name.

Total Recovery 1

“And David enquired at the Lord, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all:” 1 Samuel 30:8

If an enemy has stolen from you, total recovery is possible. My mentor in the ministry of spiritual warfare said, “If the enemy has stolen from you, recovery is by force.” A pursuit is needed if you want it back. The good news is that you can do the pursuit on your knees; you can enforce your recovery on your knees. The first is step is an assurance that you can and will recover all.

“And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.” Joel 2:25
“And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:” 1 John 5:14

It is the will of God for you to recover all. It does not matter how long, neither does it matter how much the enemy has stolen from you. Let this confidence be in you that if you go to God in prayer, you will recover all. Get ready for a restoration that will change your story.

Prayer for today: Oh God, arise and clear all obstacles to my recovery in Jesus name.

The Spiritual Sense 4

“Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:” Acts 26:19

Your access to heavenly vision or the voice of the Lord is what gives you the spiritual sense. If you respond to such in total obedience, you cannot be swept away by the storms and challenges of this life. Christianity becomes a mere religion without spiritual sense. A personal experience of the living Christ and manifestation of the Holy Spirit is what quipped you for a glorious Christian life. If all you have is second hand information about Christ, your Christian life will be shaky.

“I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee.” Job 42:5
“I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.” 1 Corinthians 15:31

Beloved, if you are still holding to your agenda, you will not be ready to receive what the Lord has for you. The world is becoming more evil and uncertainty is the order of the day. Common sense and man’s effort will fail is such a time like this. As a Christian, you don’t have to die with the world if you choose to live with Christ. Your light will only shine in the midst of this thick darkness through the spiritual sense. Persistent and consistent fellowship with God, with a determination not to leave unless God shows up is the key. May the light of the Lord come to you always in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, lay hold on my life and do with me as you purposed to do in Jesus name.

The Spiritual Sense 3

“They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.” Psalm 37:19

In such a time like this, common sense is not enough, you need spiritual sense also. Common sense tells you to have needed service or product so that your needs can be met. Common sense tells you to take all necessary precautions against virus attacks. Yes, while it is necessary to engage the common sense, you must go further and engage the spiritual sense as well. We must know that these are evil times. In such a time like this, you must hear God, believe Him and walk in His counsel. This is what I called spiritual sense.

“And there was a famine in the land,…… And the Lord appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of: Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee;…” Genesis 26:1-3
“And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.” Luke 5:5

If you engage the spiritual sense, you will carry the presence of God and He will bless you. The implication is that you shall not be ashamed in such a time like this and on top of it, you shall be satisfied with good things. This will not depend on your strength or your weakness, but on God working through you. Spiritual sense is obtained by getting hungry for God until you have a definite encounter with Him. May you hear God daily and walk in obedience to Him in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, you are my Shepherd, lead me, guide me, protect me, and provide for me in Jesus name.

The Spiritual Sense 2

“For we live by faith, not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:7

The life of victory is lived in the midst of battle using the spiritual sense. The spiritual sense grants you access to the supernatural of God. What your eyes can see is not all that is available to see. Spiritual sense makes you see victory in the midst of challenges. It makes you see prosperity in the midst of famine. Spiritual sense is acquired by knowing what God is saying concerning your situation and believing it.

“When they came to the threshing floor of Nakon, Uzzah reached out and took hold of the ark of God, because the oxen stumbled. The Lord’s anger burned against Uzzah because of his irreverent act; therefore God struck him down, and he died there beside the ark of God.” 2 Samuel 6:6-7
“I thought, ‘Now the Philistines will come down against me at Gilgal, and I have not sought the Lord’s favor.’ So I felt compelled to offer the burnt offering.” 1 Samuel 13:12

In such a time like this, if you lack spiritual sense, you will live in fear and miss God. Whatever is not of faith is sin for the just shall live by faith (Romans 1:17, 14:23). You must learn to do things and declare things based on what God is saying and not on what your physical eyes can see. The spiritual sense makes you have the Spirit of God and follow Him with your whole heart. This is your key to realizing the promises of God in your life. May your eyes be opened to see, and your ears be opened to hear God in such a time like this in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God show me the way of victory and prosperity in such a time like this and let me walk in them in Jesus name.

The Spiritual Sense 1

“There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” Genesis 39:9

You have a destiny in God, but to fulfill this destiny, you need a spiritual sense. Spiritual sense tells you not to sin against God deliberately. Many people have mortgaged their destiny and destroyed themselves because they lack spiritual sense. They compromised their integrity and missed God because of satanic alternative as a solution to what they are going through. No matter what you are going through, if what is offered to you is against God, don’t do it.

“Israel hath sinned, and they have also transgressed my covenant which I commanded them: for they have even taken of the accursed thing, and have also stolen, and dissembled also, and they have put it even among their own stuff.” Joshua 7:11
“But the angel of the Lord said to Elijah the Tishbite, Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say unto them, Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that ye go to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron?” 2Kings 1:3

If God will not give it to you for any reason, don’t go to satan to get it. God knows the best for you. You cannot wait on God and be defeated. You cannot have God on your side and not come out of any challenges you have. Spiritual sense tells you to find the will of God for your life and stay in there. Job 14:14 says, “If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.”

Prayer for today: Oh God give me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of you in Jesus name.

He gives power

“He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.” Isaiah 40:29

Are you feeling faint and weak from the challenges of life? Do you feel like you don’t have the might to confront the situation that is against you? Are you at your wits’ end? I have good news for you: God gives power to the weak. If you are a child of God and the Holy Spirit is in your life, you don’t need to feel weak and helpless. The strength and power that you need are available to you in this troubled time.

“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9
“For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.” Psalm 27:5

The strength that you need is in you by the indwelling Spirit of God that is in you. Apart from this, the kingdom of God is within you (Luke 17:21). This kingdom is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost (Romans 14:17). This joy is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10). What should you do? Give heed to the Spirit in you and let His strength be activated in you. Use the keys of fellowship with Him, worship, and prayer to activate the victory He has given you from within. I see God give you joy that will strengthen you.

Prayer for today: Oh God give me the power, strength, and might that I need for this season in Jesus name.

He gives more grace

“But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.” James 4:6

We all need more grace in such a time like this. The presence of grace indicates the presence of timely mercy (Hebrews 4:16). Grace is the power within to make things happen, and the fragrance without that attracts favor and help. God is willing to give more grace. The key to more grace is humility.

“Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:” 1 Peter 5:6
“Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.” Proverbs 16:18

God’s pre-requisite for the release of grace is humility. The Spirit of humility was in Jesus (Philippians 2:7-9). Saul was chosen to be the first king of Israel because he had a humble heart (1 Samuel 15:17). Eliab failed because of his proud heart so God rejected him (1 Samuel 16:7). If you want this grace, you will have to humble yourself by putting God and His word first in your life. Seek to know God’s will about every situation and submit to it. He will release grace and exalt you in due season.

Prayer for today: Oh God, give me more grace and exalt me in this season  in Jesus name.

Timely mercy

“Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.” Psalms 34:10

There are two major personalities you will have to deal with in life. They are favor and judgement. Favor is the carrier of all beautiful things of life whole judgement is the carrier of all the ugly things of life. Mercy can stop judgement and it can usher in favor. When mercy appears, judgement will lose his voice and strength while favor will go through. Timely mercy is about mercy appearing when you need it most. I decree that you will always have timely mercy in Jesus name.

“For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.” James 2:13
“And it was so, when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, that she obtained favour in his sight: and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand. So Esther drew near, and touched the top of the sceptre.” Esther 5:2

Whether you need restoration or help, mercy must precede and accompany you. When Esther showed up at the time she was not supposed to, timely mercy was ahead of her so she found favor. She got all the help she needed. Mercy orchestrated the step of the Shunamite woman when she wanted a restoration of her land (2 Kings 8:5-6). She did not only get her land back, but she got the seven years wages that the land generated when she was not around. May you receive timely mercy in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let timely mercy accompany me in my destiny journey in Jesus name.

Seeking God

“The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.” Psalms 34:10

Men of strength can fail, but those who depend on God have a great future. This is because there is a time of weakness even for a young and strong Lion but if you are a God seeker, you will surely make it. Don’t just give up, be prepared for many attempts in prayers and in actions towards your expected result.  Many people give up easily in prayer. Even when you’re tired, keep on going. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, look for it again, and again. God will show up and show you something that will change your life forever.

“And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;” Luke 18:1
“Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:  But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Isaiah 40:30-31

In such a time like this, many will be confronted by situations that are beyond them. The place of refuge will be in God. You will need to get rid of thinking patterns that are against God and His word. The devil will always come to you with tempting alternatives, but the end is destruction. If you put your heart to seeking God until you find Him, you can never be defeated. May you experience a change of story as you encounter God in this season in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, as I seek you, do not let me lack any good thing in Jesus name.

Conquering failure 2

Your adversary shall be tired!

“And he removed from thence, and digged another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it Rehoboth; and he said, For now the Lord hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.” Genesis 26:22

Isaac was tough; he was not going to succumb to the Philistines who were striving with him. He kept on until his adversaries were tired and God made room for him. Your adversaries shall be tired, your opposition shall be tired, and God will make room for you. It is an abortion of destiny to give up at the edge of breakthrough because of opposition. Don’t leave your place of destiny because of satanic noise, be tough in the Spirit.

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.” Ephesians 6:10
“When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out.” Luke 11:24

If your oppositions are demonic forces, I have good news for you. Demons also get tired. The bible says an unclean spirit is seeking rest, only a tired personality seeks rest. More importantly, our victory is guaranteed by faith. Beloved, hold unto God, your adversaries shall be tired and your breakthrough shall manifest in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, give me the strength and the grace to see the end of this battle in Jesus name.

The power of purposeful self-isolation 3

“And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.” Daniel 11:32

The strength and knowledge to excel can be drawn from God during your time alone with Him. The enemy has increased his wickedness this time. He is operating at a higher degree of spiritual corruption. Those who have an intimate relationship with God are above his schemes and manipulations. The secret of the enemy is made known and the power to defeat him is released at the place of a personal encounter with the Lord. The key is purposeful self-isolation.

“Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.” Daniel 6:10
“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:” Ephesians 1:17

What do you do during a time of purposeful isolation? You spend time worshipping God. You meditate on the scripture. You ask God to anoint you with the Holy Ghost and power. You ask God to give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation. You ask God to grant you access to the mystery of His word. You ask God to reveal yourself to you. You ask God to reveal Himself to you. You ask God to reveal to you the secret of the challenges you are going through. You ask God to lead you in the way you should go and to teach you to profit.

The power of purposeful self-isolation 2

“Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.” Acts 4:13

You need boldness to go ahead despite the opposition in this world. No matter how skillful or talented you are, you must be bold to take what belongs to you. There is a boldness that comes as a result of an encounter with God. Whenever it seems that things are against you and you an unable to make bold decisions. You can activate this unfailing boldness by purposeful isolation with God. You separate yourself from the business of this world to hear God and to receive the fullness of His Spirit. At the point of this breakthrough, failure and defeat will become alien to you.

“The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.” Proverbs 28:1
“Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.” Acts 3:6

Beloved, go back to the drawing board. Go to God and re-strategies to conquer your world with God-given boldness. Separate a time with God for Him to breathe on you and turn things around in your life. The journey to this unique encounter is lonely, but highly rewarding. You cannot hear God and not be bold.

Prayer for today: Oh God, I dedicate my life unto you, do whatever you want with my life in Jesus name.

The power of purposeful self-isolation 1

“Then Jacob was left alone; and a Man wrestled with him until the breaking of day.” Genesis 32:24

I will like to share with you this morning the word I shared on March 27 but in a more direct way. You need to dig deep in your relationship with God to handle the end-time challenges. You must be conscious of the word of God in your life and the Spirit of God upon you, for you to be at the top of the current situation and not fear. Purposeful self-isolation is the key.  The noise around you is too much and will not allow you to hear God. You need to separate daily an hour or two when you will be alone with God. If you can do more, it is better. A few hours in the church every week is not enough, although will help to motivate you.

“And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the Lord God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word1 Kings 17:1
“And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.” Luke 5:16

Purposeful isolation is the price every champion pays for greatness in destiny. It is the period of isolation where the question of what to do, how to do it, where to do it, and when to do it are answered. It is also the period when greatness is conceived, incubated, and taken towards bringing to reality. It is a period of concentration and meditation for illumination. Beloved, if you are not happy with where you are, the power of purposeful isolation can turn things around. This is because God will speak to you and anoint you in the place of self-isolation with Him. May you be determined to isolate yourself for God’s visitation in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let the zeal for a personal encounter with you envelop my life in Jesus name.

Prayer for deliverance

“But thus saith the Lord, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.” Isaiah 49:25

There is a clear plan and promise of God to deliver. We will stand on that promise this morning to invoke the power of God against infirmity and killer disease. When the enemy shall come like a flood, the Spirit of God shall raise a standard against him. Perhaps you are going through an affliction and oppression of the enemy apart from the fear of COVID19 that is around us. I see God contending with the strongman and bringing deliverance to you in Jesus name.

“So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.” Isaiah 59:19
“And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.” Luke 13:12-13

Wherever you are, if you are reading this message, please declare with me: In the name of Jesus, let the Spirit of the Lord invade our land to raise a standard against the enemy who has come like a flood to devour the land. We invoke the blood of Jesus and plea for mercy. Let the consequences of iniquity be taken from us and let our land be healed in Jesus name.
I pray for anyone who needs deliverance right now, let the power of God deliver you from the captivity of the mighty and let Him take you away from the hand of the terrible, let peace and freedom come to you right now in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, heal our land and heal me in Jesus name.

7 People that God found (7)

“And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.” John 1:46

Nathanael was a doubter who was fortunate to keep the company of believers, so God found him and made him to experience great things. He did not expect any good thing from Nazareth even when he was told about it. Nevertheless, he followed Phillip, who took him to Jesus. Jesus told him that he had found him and he believed. Beloved, something good is about to come out of your life because God has found you in Jesus name. God is about to do great things through you, your past history notwithstanding.

“Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee……Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these.” John 1:48-50
“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” Jeremiah 33:3

What are those great and mighty things that your heart desire to experience? What are those things that you have been praying for? What is that change you sincerely desired to happen in your life? I have good news for you: God shall find you and you shall experience great and mighty things. The Lord has asked me to tell you that you should stop doubting because of your past experience and start believing. God will do a new thing in your life.

Prayer for today: Oh God, locate me today, and do new and greater things in my life in Jesus name.

7 People that God found (6)

“And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for today I must abide at thy house.” Luke 19:5

Zacchaeus was called a sinner by the people of his days. None of them knew all the attempts that Zacchaeus had made to change his way of life. As a tax collector, he had restored four folds to any man he falsely accused. He gave to the poor. When he knew that Jesus was going to pass a certain road, he strategically positioned himself on the sycamore tree to beat his limitations and see Jesus. Jesus found him and changed his life. I don’t care to know what people are saying about you, but I care to announce to you that if God finds you, your life will be totally transformed. Jesus will change your name today.

“And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner.” Luke 19:7
“And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.” Genesis 32:28

What is the name that people are calling you? Barren? Poor? Failure? Sick? Nobody? I have good news for you. The name is about to change in Jesus name. God will find you, change your situation, and change your name. He is an unchangeable changer. I decree in the name of Jesus, wherever you are, at any level you are, God will find you today.

Prayer for today: Oh God, I desire an encounter with you, locate me, and change my name today in Jesus name.

7 People that God found (5)

“And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:” Ruth 1:16

Beloved, it is not over for you and it cannot be over for you if you position yourself for God to find you. Stop listening to the voices that say you cannot recover. You shall surely recover all, your glory, your career, your health, lost relationship, lost position, and such. Ruth’s husband had died and she was childless. Her mother-in-law was returning to the land of Judah and entreated her to return to her idol-worshipping people. She refused, went with her into the land of the covenant people, and God found her. Her story ended in glory and continued until today. She became the great grandmother of Jesus.

“So Boaz took Ruth, and she was his wife: and when he went in unto her, the Lord gave her conception, and she bare a son.” Ruth 4:13
“And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse;” Matthew 1:5

Covid19 has brought into the world new challenges. Many have lost their jobs, and so many cannot pay their bills. Many don’t know what to do. In such a time like this, position yourself to be found by God. If God finds you, He will speak to you and open doors for you to beat the challenges today. Read the story of Isaac in Genesis 26. May God find you and deliver you from all your afflictions in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God arise and locate me for a total recovery in Jesus name.

7 People that God found (4)

“And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.” Luke 5:5

God found Peter, turned his failure to success, and made him a fisher of men. Peter was a skillful fisherman and hardworking too. Peter had tried all his skills that faithful day and had already given up, but he was open to God’s instructions. Maybe you are skillful and hardworking but nothing is working for you, I have good news for you. God shall locate you this morning and turn your efforts to profitable ventures in Jesus name. Hear the word of the Lord: Don’t give up try again.

“And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 16:17
“Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.” Acts 5:15

God had a better plan for Peter. The same Peter who had failed became an agent of God’s revelation and power to his generation. He could receive from God and even his shadow was healing the sick. Beloved, be cheerful, God has a plan for you despite your past failures and disappointment. In this dispensation when God locates a man, He will give him His word and put His Spirit upon Him. May God locate you this morning, grant you access to the mystery of His word and anoint you with the Holy Ghost and power in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, anoint me with the Holy Ghost and power and let your word come unto me in Jesus name.

7 People that God found (3)

“Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:” Genesis 12:1

The breakthrough story of Abraham started when God found him in Genesis 12 and spoke to him. He was 75 years old and did not have any success against his name. His family was idolatry. His brother died before his father and his father died on the way to Canaan, where they were going to sojourn. His wife also was barren. God found him and change his story. He believed God and became the friend of God. I don’t care to know how old you are or how terrible your past has been, but I care to announce to you that God shall find you and change your story. It is not too late for you to make your own mark in this world.

“By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.” Hebrews 11:8
““For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.” Genesis 18:19

God was looking for a man who will believe Him and teach his children to do so in order to raise for Himself a Nation. God found it in Abraham, separated him, and blessed him. Are you willing to believe God for a great future and assignment for Him despite what you are going through. If the answer is yes, God will definitely find you. And when He does, you will become a marvel to many.

Prayer for today: Oh God, locate me, and let my testimony be great among men in Jesus name.

7 People that God found (2)

“And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.” Luke 1:28

The second person that I want to share with you is Mary. Mary was found by God so God favored her and blessed her.  For Mary what God had in mind would take her to go through shame for a season. It was shameful for a woman who was engaged to a man to be pregnant. However, God found in her a woman who would not mind the shame, but would willingly surrender to what God wanted to do and so God found her. Also, God found in her a woman who would accept the word of God, no matter how impossible the situation looked.

“And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.” Luke 1:38
“His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.” John 2:5

Mary was not just a receptor of the plan of God, she became a pointer of people to God’s word. Beloved, I don’t know who you are but I know that if you are willing to surrender to the plan of God, He will find you. When God finds you, He will favor you and bless you. Your story will then turn to glory. May you be found by God in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, locate me, favor me, and bless me in Jesus name.
