The impossible is possible!

“Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.” Mark 9:23 KJV

If you are a reader of the Bible, you ought to know by now that what people call the impossible is possible. Impossibility exists only in the realm of men who do not believe. The Israelites walked through the Red Sea on dry land. The wall of Jericho sank before them. David killed an experienced, well-protected giant called Goliath. Mary, a virgin, became pregnant. Jesus fed five thousand men with two loaves and five fishes. Paul, beaten by a venomous serpent, did not feel anything. I am sure you could add your own, giving testimony of an impossible situation that has been made possible by the power of God operating through you.

“But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it.” Numbers 14:24KJV

“And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.” Luke 1:35KJV

You need the spirit of faith to come into you to turn the impossibility into possibility. This was what Caleb had, and he did not mind the giant but believed God to take the promised land. You need the Holy Spirit to come upon you. This was what happened to Mary that made her conceive as a virgin. As a Christian, you must have the Holy Spirit upon you and the spirit of faith in you.

May you do the impossible this month, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, Let the spirit of faith possess me, in Jesus’ name.

Salvation: Lord Jesus, I believe in the forgiveness of sin and in the redemption from the power of darkness through your blood. I confess you as my Savior and Lord.  I invite you into my life to save my soul. Holy Spirit, come into my heart and make me what you want me to be. Thank you Lord for saving me in Jesus name.

Never doubt God!

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV

If you have a promise from God, never doubt Him, no matter your physical condition or situation. If you are not sure there is a promise for you, spend time with God until you are convinced of His promises to you.  The promises of God will sustain you if you don’t doubt Him. His words and His promises are yes and amen. God is true, the devil is a liar, and man is a liar. God never fails. His word never fails. His word is more real than any situation you are passing through.

“For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.” 2 Corinthians 1:20KJV

“They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.” Psalms 125:1KJV

If you decide not to doubt God, your future is predictable, and it will be good. The outcome of your life depends on what you believe or doubt. Your life also depends on who you believe or doubt. You must not doubt the word of God; rather, you must doubt any situation that is contrary to the word of God in your life (2 Cor 4:18). You must not doubt God, no matter the situation. If you don’t doubt God, you will be standing, no matter the storm of life.

May you trust God with your whole heart, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, my trust is in YOU; help me, in Jesus’ name.

Get ready for a new thing!

“Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:18-19 KJV

Hear the word of the Lord: Get ready for a new thing. The enemy of new things is old things, whether good or bad. Never attach yourself to an old thing; get ready for the new. Whenever God is involved, the new is supernatural. There will be a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. In other words, the impossible will become possible. I think the first step to getting ready for new things is to engage the God of new things.

“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13-14KJV

“And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles.” Mark 2:22KJV

No man can actually grow beyond his level of thinking. The next thing to do is to change your thinking. You can never encounter God and think on the same level. If you are given a new opportunity and your thinking cannot sustain it, the opportunity will be wasted. Your thinking also determines your actions. You can reach for big things when your thinking is small. You cannot reach out to new things with old thinking. Renew your mind with the word of God, which is the word of faith. Stop moving in the association of pessimists; join the association of faithful. Faith in the word of God will take you into a new experience.

Your breakthrough is now, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, do new and greater things in my life, in Jesus’ name.

Go forward!

“The Lord our God spake unto us in Horeb, saying, Ye have dwelt long enough in this mount:... Behold, I have set the land before you: go in and possess the land which the Lord sware unto your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give unto them and to their seed after them.” Deuteronomy 1:6-8KJV

I have a commandment from the Lord to you: go forward. You have dwelt long enough on this mount; go forward. Fear not; go forward. This year must not be like the past; go forward. No barrier or obstacle can stop you; go forward. This is your time to do new things; go forward. Let the spirit of faith enter you; go forward. Don’t go backward; go forward. Don’t remain in the same spot; go forward. Don’t maintain the status quo; go forward.

“And the Lord said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:” Exodus 14:15 KJV

“And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.” Matthew 14:28-29 KJV

If you have dwelt long in the same spot, you need to hear a new voice. The voice of the Lord is coming to you this day; go forward. Your prayers are answered; go forward. Your mindset must be different from the mindset that has kept you stagnant and backward. Ask that the mind that was in Christ Jesus be in you. Ask that the spirit of faith possess you. Ask that God show you new things. Believe that God is with you, and take a step forward. Do what you have never done before; read books you have not read before, pray as you have never prayed before, and think the way you have never thought before.

You are going forward this year, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, take me to a new and greater height this year, in Jesus’ name.

Be strong in the Lord 9

“….. and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints” Ephesians 6:18KJV

Christians who are strong in the Lord are watchmen; they persevere and are intercessors. Watchmen are greater than intercessors because, apart from the grace to pray, they also have the grace to see. And much more importantly, strong Christians know how to persevere until they see the hand of God in a church, a community, and a nation. Having said all this, you need to reassess your Christianity. Please visit what has been said in the last eight days in this daily message and probe your Christian stand. This will make you adjust and become a certified army of the Lord Jesus.

“Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:” Ephesians 1:15-17KJV

“And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.” Ezekiel 22:30KJV

If you have entered the ministry of an intercessor, you are sharing a divine assignment with our Lord Jesus Himself and the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is at the right hand of the Father, making intercession for us (Romans 8:34). The Holy Spirit is interceding for us with groanings that cannot be uttered (Romans 8:26–27). You see, if you really want to grow as a Christian, the place to start is to join the intercessors. And if you are already an intercessor, grow into becoming a watchman.

May you be strong in the Lord, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, make me an intercessor and a watchman, in Jesus’ name.

Be strong in the Lord 8

“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit……” Ephesians 6:18KJV

In the past seven days, we have seen from the scriptures that for us to be strong in the Lord, we must put on the whole armor of God. We have also seen that the armor being in place in our lives depends on our responses to the word of God. In addition to the whole armor, we must also pray always with all prayers and supplications in the Spirit for us to be strong in the Lord. Meditating on the word of God and having a strong prayer life are the foundations of our strength in the Lord.

“And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” Matthew 4:3-4KJV

“And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.” Luke 6:12KJV

If you don’t meditate daily on the word of God and spend time with God in prayer, your Christianity is not only questionable, but you will also be weak spiritually, and the enemy can do to you whatever he likes. Even our Lord Jesus Christ was strong, both in the word and prayer. He quoted the word against the enemy and regularly prayed all night. You should not only pray in your understanding, but you must also pray in tongue regularly (1 Corinthians 14:14-15).

May you be strong in the Lord, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, fortify me by Your Word and Your Spirit, in Jesus’ name.

Be strong in the Lord 7

“……., and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:” Ephesians 6:17KJV

Your weapon for fighting is a sword of the spirit, which is the word of God. Your armor is not complete without the sword. All other armor protects you only, but the sword is both for protection and attack. It has been said that the best form of defense is attack. The word of God will defend you and will also enable you to damage and destroy the enemy. Your ability to use the word of God is a strong indication of your strength in the Lord. The word of God will defend you and will fight for you.

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12KJV

“Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.” Proverbs 30:5 KJV

The word of God is both a shield and a sword. If you study Ephesians 6:13–17 very well, you will observe that all the armor is centered on the word of God. The truth is the word of God. Righteousness is about your response to the word of God. The preparation of the gospel of peace is about preaching the word of God. Faith is about acting on the word of God, and then your own fighting weapon is the word of God. If you desire to be strong in the Lord, you must prioritize the word of God in your life.

May your life be rooted in the word of God, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let me be hungry for Your word, in Jesus’ name.

Be strong in the Lord 6

“And take the helmet of salvation,……..” Ephesians 6:17KJV

If salvation is not in place, we cannot be talking about being strong in the Lord. Salvation is a helmet on the list of armor; it protects the head. I learned that in warfare, when the head is damaged, life is finished. This was why Goliath could not survive the stone of David; it went straight to his unprotected forehead (1 Samuel 17:49). Anyone who is not saved, is not safe. Thinking is done using the head; anyone who is not saved cannot think in alignment with the word of God. No unsaved person is thinking correctly.

“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Acts 4:12KJV

“For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloak.” Isaiah 59:17KJV

If Goliath had been saved, he would not have challenged the army of the living God. The enemy is not saved, so he is already exposed. Anyway, that is not really my point this morning. My point is that you must have a relationship with Jesus based on the blood covenant for you to be saved; this is the beginning of Christ's life (John 3:1–16). Also, you must grow in grace through an increase in your knowledge of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. These are the keys for you to be strong in the Lord and to be protected by the helmet of salvation.

May you grow in the grace of our Lord Jesus, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, if there is anything in me that is against you, kill it, in Jesus’ name.

Be strong in the Lord 5

“Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.” Ephesians 6:16KJV

Faith is a shield that quenches the fiery darts of the wicked. In this world that has become a habitation of cruelty, faith is your protection. No man can survive without faith, and even the righteous will die without faith. Faith is your strong defense, so you must understand faith and walk by faith. Faith is believing God above any physical evidence. Faith is esteeming the word of God above the word of men and the word of satan. Faith is the fourth eye that sees things beyond the natural and engages the force of God in the natural realm. Faith is both a gift and a fruit; faith is also a spirit. You cannot be strong in the Lord without growing in faith.

“He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.” Isaiah 52:7KJV

“For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.” Romans 1:17KJV

Please don’t die cheaply; believe God in all things. Don’t fear; only believe. Don’t doubt; only believe. The proven way to have faith is to spend time with God and His word. Faith is not in place when God has not spoken. Faith is not in place when the word of God is not believed. Faith is not in place when the word of God is not spoken or acted upon. Wake up; you cannot be defeated if your shield of faith is intact.

May the spirit of faith enter into you, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, kill unbelief in me and increase my faith, in Jesus’ name.

Be strong in the Lord 4

“And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;” Ephesians 6:15KJV

It is a mystery that preparation of the gospel of peace is one of the armor a Christian soldier must put on for him to be strong in the Lord and be able to withstand the opposition. This emphasizes the importance of being involved in sharing the gospel. Get ready to preach the gospel. This provides a boot for your feet. Your feet will be protected against thorns, dangerous animals like snakes and ants, and unseen germs on the battlefield. Your feet will be beautified by the boot. Your feet will be swift and take you to high places. The boot will keep your feet firm and make you ready to subdue the enemy.

“How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!.” Isaiah 52:7KJV

“The Lord God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.” Habakkuk 3:19KJV

You will receive God’s strength, hinds’ feet, and open doors to go places if you have a passion for sharing the gospel. Hinds’ feet are swift, firm, and steady. This is what you receive from the Lord if you are involved in the preparation of the gospel of peace. You cannot fold your arms in sharing the gospel if you desire to be strong in the Lord. You must be prepared. You must be ready. You must be instant when it comes to giving the gospel of our Lord Jesus to the perishing world.

May you be baptized with a zeal for the gospel, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, give me the wisdom to be a soul winner, in Jesus’ name.

Be strong in the Lord 3

“……….., and having on the breastplate of righteousness;” Ephesians 6:14KJV

The second armor is the breastplate of righteousness. This protects your chest, where your heart is located. Righteousness will protect your heart. Righteousness is standing right before God. To stand right before God, you must guard your heart and fill it with the word of God.  The heart is the source of every spoken word and action taken by men. If you guide your heart, you have guided your life. Righteousness is received by believing the word of God (2 Cor 5:21) and is revealed by living according to the word of God (Romans 1:17).

“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” Proverbs 4:23 KJV

“For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:  All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.” Mark 7:21-23 KJV

What you do or say reveals the state of your heart. This also depends on whether you are protected from the opposition or not. Apart from this, the opposition will try to plant a negative seed in your heart so that he can make you misbehave. You must take charge of what you watch and listen to, if you want your heart to produce the right fruit. If you desire to change your life, you must take charge of the information you feed your heart with, consciously or unconsciously.

You are the righteousness of God, and you will walk in righteousness, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, protect my life with Your righteousness, in Jesus’ name.

Be strong in the Lord 2

“Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth….” Ephesians 6:14KJV

If your armor is in place, you are a true soldier of the Lord. If your armor is in place, you will be strong in the Lord, and the enemy cannot defeat you. The first armor spoken about in Ephesians is a belt, and it is called truth. Can you imagine a soldier without his belt on? His trousers will be falling, he will not be able to focus on responding to the enemy, and he will become a victim. You must not only know the truth; you must walk in it as a true soldier of Christ. The word of God is truth.

“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” John 17:17 KJV

“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 5:32KJV

The word of God is the truth, not what your eyes can see or what you can feel. If you don’t know what God has said about you and your situation, or if you don’t believe God above your feelings, you cannot be strong in the Lord. See the story of Elisha and his servant in 2 Kings 6. The servant could only see the enemy, whereas God has provided a host of heaven to protect them. A half-truth is a lie. The servant was not seeing the whole picture. God is true, man is a liar, and the devil is a liar (Romans 3:4; John 8:44). You must know the word of God, believe the word of God, and walk in the word of God for your belt of truth to be in place.

May you know and walk in the truth, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, deliver me and sanctify me by the truth of Your word, in Jesus’ name.

Be strong in the Lord 1

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” Ephesians 6:10-11KJV

The Bible encourages us to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. The reason is that we are dealing with the wiles of the devil. We are in a wrestling battle. Our oppositions are principalities, powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in high places. These are the forces behind the evil days. Our human strength and strategies will not be useful in this battle. You cannot sit on the fence in this battle. Someone said the fence also belonged to the opposition. You must be on the side of God and be equipped to walk in victory.

“Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.” Matthew 7:24-25 KJV

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” 1 John 5:4KJV

Being strong in the Lord means putting on the whole armour. Not a partial armour but the whole. These armours include the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the boots of the preparation of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit. Just like an improperly equipped soldier is not safe in a physical battle, no one who is not adequately dressed is fit for this wrestling bowl. Unfortunately, we cannot choose not to be involved; we are already involved as true Christians. The wise thing to do is to take the whole armour and walk in victory.

May you put on the whole armour, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, help me to walk in the victory that You have given me, in Jesus’ name.

Who do you follow?

“And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”  Matthew 4:19KJV

Who do you follow? Who mentors you? This is a strong determinant of who and what you will become. Who you follow makes you into something. It is easy to become someone by following the teachings and the way he or she does things. When you read someone’s book or watch his or her video, you are following the person. I can assure you that he or she is making you into something. Determine what you want to become and follow the person who has achieved it. You must follow someone who is already a success in your chosen profession or your calling for you to succeed in the same endeavor.

“That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” Hebrews 6:12KJV

“Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.” 1 Corinthians 11:1KJV

You cannot miss it if you follow Jesus Christ. You cannot miss it if you follow someone who is following Jesus Christ. You cannot miss it if you follow people who walk by faith and with patience. You cannot miss it if you follow people who have obtained the promises of God or achieved results. Think of these when choosing who you follow. You can never be casual about who you follow; it determines your destiny. Who you follow determines what follows you.

May you engage in the right companies, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, shepherd me and take full control of my life, in Jesus’ name.

Think big!

“And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him, and said unto him, The Lord is with thee, thou mighty man of valour.”  Judges 6:12KJV

God is not seeing you as a dwarf; He sees you as a giant. Stop seeing yourself the way God has not seen you. God sees you as a mighty man of valor; don’t see yourself less. You cannot operate beyond the perspective you have of yourself. If you see yourself as a grasshopper, you cannot confront or kill a giant. Stop thinking small; start thinking big. God will do great things through you. Stop focusing on your weakness; start focusing on the strength of God. You must think big to do big things.

“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.” Proverbs 23:7KJV

“Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.” Mark 9:23 KJV

Believe in God; believe also in yourself. Let me tell you this: if you know how to lean on God, you are strong enough to do great and mighty things (Philippians 4:13). Think of the glory if you start winning, prospering, and conquering territories. Think of how you will feel if you regain your lost years. Start seeing light where darkness has existed. Start seeing success where you failed. Meditate on God’s word and align your thinking with His thoughts for your life.

2024 is a new and better year for you, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let Your mind be in me, in Jesus’ name.

Heavenly assisted!

“Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.”  Zechariah 4:6KJV

Whatever you plan to achieve this year, don’t do it without God; engage the help of God. Fortunately, God’s help is available to those who will ask and to those who will make themselves available to be filled with His Spirit. No matter how skilled and talented you are, you are still limited. A less skilled but heavenly-assisted person will get a better result than the most skilled person without God. See the glory of David and Goliath in 1 Samuel 17. Put your best effort into what you do, but don’t do it without God’s help.

“And the hand of the Lord was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.” 1 Kings 18:46 KJV

“And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.” Luke 5:5-6 KJV

How could a man outrun a chariot driven by horses unless he was heavenly-assisted? How could a sling and a stone kill a giant well-protected from head to toe unless the user was anointed? How could a failure turn into a sudden success unless divine assistance has been accessed? Ask God to anoint and bless you, and don’t stop until you are sure it is done.

May you be the one whom God has helped this year, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let Your hand be upon me, in Jesus’ name.

It will cost you!

“I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.”  1 Corinthians 15:31KJV

Achieving a worthwhile goal always costs something, as does walking with the Lord. I see the discipline people put in to achieve their worldly goals, but when it comes to walking with the Lord, they want to do it on their own terms. Unfortunately, it does not work that way. Walking with the Lord will cost you obedience. But I can assure you, no reward is comparable in this world or in the world to come. If you obey the Lord, you will be blessed.

“And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.” Luke 9:23KJV

“And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.” Deuteronomy 28:1-2 KJV

Obedience is a daily thing; it is not a one-time thing. The hardest life is lived by people who live in disobedience to God (Prov 13:15). Living the best life on earth is simply by hearing God, believing Him, and obeying Him. This may not be easy, but it is your guarantee of a victorious and prosperous life. Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts. Receive His voice with faith and enter into His rest in this tempestuous world.

May you hear God and walk in obedience to Him, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, help me to walk with You in my destiny journey, in Jesus’ name.

Have a strong prayer altar!

“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.”  Psalm 91:1-2KJV

You must be heavenly-assisted and heavenly-protected in this cruel, unstable, and dark world. Your guarantee of this assistance and protection is a strong prayer altar. An altar is a place where the terrestrial engages the celestial for the things that happen in the realm of men. You cannot be wasted if your prayer altar is alive and strong. You cannot be robbed of your inheritance if your prayer altar carries fresh fire. The journey you want to do in the realm of men you must first engage in through your prayer altar for you to crush demonic and human oppositions and achieve your goals.

“Oh that I were as in months past, as in the days when God preserved me; When his candle shined upon my head, and when by his light I walked through darkness; As I was in the days of my youth, when the secret of God was upon my tabernacle;” Job 29:2-4KJV

“The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.” Proverbs 18:10 KJV

Your prayer altar must be fresh and serviced daily. This is where you receive fresh fire, fresh power, and fresh wisdom to conquer the day. No matter how strong you are physically, if you are weak spiritually, your destiny is not guaranteed. The people in the dark world do not joke with their altars; don’t joke with yours. Always settle the day before daybreak on your altar to command the day and manipulate things in your favor.

You are heavenly supported and protected, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, send Your fire on my prayer altar, in Jesus’ name.

Think through

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”  Philippians 4:8KJV

You can think through and experience breakthroughs in any situation. There are answers in your mind; only thinking can explore your mind and bring out solutions. A man is not truly lazy until he is lazy at exploring his mind through productive thinking. Sit down and think to dig out the solution you are looking for that is embedded in your mind. Your mind is sound. Your mind is a gold mine. Put your mind to work and see profitable ideas and actions that will change your life. Think about the matter until the eyes of your mind see the solution.

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7JKV

“And there were four leprous men at the entering in of the gate: and they said one to another, Why sit we here until we die? If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die. And they rose up in the twilight, to go unto the camp of the Syrians: and when they were come to the uttermost part of the camp of Syria, behold, there was no man there.” 2 Kings 7:3-5KJV

Don’t run this year the way you have run in the past; think. The four lepers delivered themselves and the whole nation by thinking through. They thought through the situation and found a little light if they went to the camp of the Syrians. They experienced unusual breakthroughs. Find a quiet place, and think of ideas and action plans that will change your life this year.

You will do all things well this year, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, open the eyes of my mind to see solutions and breakthroughs, in Jesus’ name.

Mining your spirit

“The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching all the inward parts of the belly.”  Proverbs 20:27 KJV

The solution and the idea you are looking for are hiding in your spirit. Ideas rule the world. One single idea mined out of your spirit can change your life forever. I guess you are looking for a breakthrough idea. It is right within you, embedded in your spirit. You must mine your spirit to dig it out and go into the world to solve problems and get rewarded. You must tune to the spirit within you and hear his voice. The spirit within you is the candle of the Lord. It is your mining tool to dig out the idea that will change your life forever.

“But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:10JKV

“It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.” Matthew 12:34KJV

For every Christian, there are instruments to use to make the spirit speak and for you to catch it for your breakthrough idea. Meditate on the written word to receive an idea in your spirit. You are probably engaged in prayer and fasting for this year now. Ask God to reveal something to you within your spirit. If you can pray in tongue, pray in tongue, and listen to the voice of your spirit. Repeat this exercise until you have a breakthrough. You cannot afford to run this year without pursuing a breakthrough idea given to you by God through the voice of your spirit. Get your pen and paper together when you are doing this exercise and write down what comes to your mind.

May you be in tune with the voice of your spirit, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, give me a breakthrough idea, in Jesus’ name.

Inner consciousness

"In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”  John 7:37-38 KJV

What is within you must be stronger than what is without you if you want to always win in life. The solution you are looking for is within you. You cannot really respond to any situation beyond what is within you. Your inner faith. Your inner resilience. Your inner character. Your inner know-how. These are what matter in the face of opposition and challenges in life. What your spirit and mind can see is more important than what your physical eye can see. Focus on building the strength within you. Drink from the Lord Jesus, and let the water of solution flow from within you to the world without you.

“If thou faint in the day of adversity, Thy strength is small.” Exodus 3:4 JKV

“O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.” Matthew 12:34KJV

You don’t really have to worry about what is happening around and outside of you, just like David did not worry at all about Goliath (1 Samuel 17:32). Build your inner strength. Your spoken word is as strong as the word that is within you. What you do is as strong as your inner conviction. Be conscious of what you feed your mind and your spirit with. Meditate on the word of God and pray in the spirit always. Your belly will be filled with the water that both you and the world need.

Your strength is God’s strength, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, feed me and give me Your water to drink, in Jesus’ name.

Turning failure into success! 2

“If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct.”  Ecclesiastes 10:10JKV

The fact that you failed at something does not mean God has not called you to do it. It, however, means that you need more wisdom and/or power. You may actually need to either withdraw to learn more about the assignment or spend more time with God, or both, for you to reposition yourself to succeed in the same endeavor. Hard work and passion are truly prerequisites for success, but they are not always enough. This was the case of Moses and Peter in the Bible.

“And when the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.” Exodus 3:4 JKV

“Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.” Luke 5:4-6KJV

Moses felt he was supposed to be the deliverer of Israel, but he failed in his first attempt. The wisdom of Egypt that he possessed, his passion for the people, and his hard work were not enough. He needed only the wisdom and power that God could give to carry out the assignment. He encountered God and went on to lead the people out of bondage. Peter struggled all night and was already giving up when Jesus came into his life and turned the story around. You may need to retreat into the presence of God to make your life count on earth.

Your success is now in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, arise, turn my failure into success, in Jesus’ name.
