It is halftime

 “For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?” Luke 14:28

Today is the last day of the sixth month in the year 2022, it is mid of the year, and it is halftime. It is time to evaluate our goals and progress in order to strategies for the second half. The next six months are enough for you to make the year remarkable and profitable. The truth is this if you want to do great things with the time God has committed into your hands, you must learn to sit down first, thinking and praying, to get a plan you will run with.

“I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.” Habakkuk 2:1-2

“And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.” Genesis 11:6

You cannot underestimate the power of imagination and consequently a clear vision if you really desire to make your years count.  Running without a clear vision and plan is one of the reasons for wasted years. Take some time alone to evaluate the last six months and make sure you come out with a clear plan of what you want to do in the next six months.

Your imagination is unstoppable in Jesus name.

Confront the giant

 “Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.” 1 Samuel 17:23

One of the signs that your goal is worthwhile is that giants will show up. A giant can show up as a situation that is bigger than you and that you need to conquer in order to achieve your dreams. It may be a financial situation, policy, or human agent that looks so impossible to surmount.   At this time, you must confront it and conquer it. Do not drop your goal for such giants, for God has put in you and around you what you need to conquer them.

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:13

“And the Lord said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward: But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.” Exodus 14:15-16

The instrument David had mastered to use was enough to deal with the giant. David was also conscious of the presence of God with him and His anointing upon him. You may not know what to do or the instrument you should use immediately, but you can think, pray and consult with the right people. The answer will be clear to you if you have a mindset that you will conquer the giant.  

You are unstoppable in Jesus name.

Strategize

 “And when David enquired of the Lord, he said, Thou shalt not go up; but fetch a compass behind them, and come upon them over against the mulberry trees.” 2 Samuel 5:23

Strategy is your step-to-step action to achieve your goals. God is strategic in His plans so you must. If you strategize, you can achieve your goals. Strategy is also a product of wisdom. If you are bold enough to get a strategy for your goals, you will achieve them. God has a strategy for you if you ask Him. You may need to think through the process, pray through or do both to obtain a winning strategy for your dreams.  

“And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature. And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way.” Luke 19:3-4

“There was a little city, and few men within it; and there came a great king against it, and besieged it, and built great bulwarks against it: Now there was found in it a poor wise man, and he by his wisdom delivered the city; yet no man remembered that same poor man.” Ecclesiastes 9:14-15

Zacchaeus wanted to see Jesus, but there was a limitation and a barrier. He was of small stature and Jesus was surrounded by the crowd. He was not deterred, however, he strategized. He ran ahead of the crowd, climbed a sycamore tree, and achieve his goal. A poor wise man produced the strategy and his little city was delivered from the hand of a great king. It can be done no matter your limitation if you can strategize.

May you know what to do to take your territory in Jesus name.

Direction

 “If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct.” Ecclesiastes 10:10

One of the profits of wisdom is direction. As long as you have a goal or destination in mind, direction is key to getting there. The earlier you get direction, the better. If you have direction, the journey becomes easier. Many struggles today because they lack direction. Some don't know what to do with their lives, while some don't know how to achieve their goals. Lack of direction is like using a blunt cutlass to clear a bush. It drains strength and obtains limited results. May you have a direction for your life in Jesus name.

“And a certain man found him, and, behold, he was wandering in the field: and the man asked him, saying, What seekest thou?” Genesis 37:15

“The labour of the foolish wearieth every one of them, because he knoweth not how to go to the city.” Ecclesiastes 10:15

Wisdom is key if you need direction. Wisdom will enable you to find direction to your destination. So if you need direction, you need wisdom. You can ask God to give you wisdom (James 1:5). You can keep company with the wise (Proverb 13:20). You can find a man who has done what you want to do or who has been where you want to be and let him give you direction.

May you know how to go into the city in Jesus name.

Get through to God

 “And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.” Genesis 32:26

You are alone except for the presence of God and the people He has sent into your life. God can talk to you and to people on your behalf. If you get through to God, He will bless you and compel people to help you. You must prevail with God first if you want to prevail with men. The fact that it seems that you don’t have people to help you does not mean you are helpless. Although it does mean you must seek God for the help He alone can give.

“And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.” Mark 5:26-27

“The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me. Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.” John 5:7-8

When God takes over your matter, your matter shall no longer matter.  Don’t waste your time looking for men. Press through to God and He will appear in the appearance of a man with an answer. The woman with the issue of blood had suffered in the hand of men until she got through to Jesus. The impotent man was looking for men until Jesus found him and help him.

May you get through to God on your concerns in Jesus name.

Your greatest help is in God

 “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Psalms 46:1

If you have made God your refuge and strength, you will always have a timely and the greatest help in times of trouble. You can always turn to Him, and you don’t need to be afraid. He will guide you and deliver you. Don’t run helter-skelter, turn to your refuge and the source of your strength. Don’t run to other gods because it only causes a multiplication of sorrows (Psalms 16:4). There are two common things about the prayers of David, they are the prayer of deliverance and the prayer of guidance. These two prayer points were his secret to getting the greatest help that only comes from God.

“Make haste, o God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O Lord.” Psalms 70:1

“Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.” Psalms 61:1-2

Focus on God and your help and deliverance shall come. You have to make up your mind that the miracle will have to come from God. You cannot trust God and not have victory. The crises shall be over and you will have the song of victory.

May you have a new song as you turn to Him in Jesus name.

Give God the driver's seat

 “……. for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.” 2 Timothy 1:12

The way to scale through this world victoriously is to allow the Lord to sit on the driver's seat in your life. Don’t be like many people who say that Jesus is their Lord and Savior, but neglect Him when they want to make decisions about their lives. The truth is that there will be different seasons and challenges to pass through, but the Lord sees all and is above all. If we trust Him enough to lead, we will always go through and come out with positive testimonies.

“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13

‘Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6

Cultivate the habit of asking God for direction in your life. He is not deaf or dumb. He will speak to you the way you would understand. Let Him guide you in all that you do. Be willing to commit all things into His hands because He cannot mismanage you and He is greater than any opposition that may come against you.

Spirit-empowered life

 “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Acts 1:8.

The spirit-empowered life is a result of a spirit-controlled life.  A spiritually-minded life causes a spirit-controlled life that leads to spirit-empowered life. As a Christian, your life should be spirit empowered. Jesus told the disciples that the Holy Spirit upon them shall generate power. Please tarry in God’s presence for a regular power generation for a supernatural life.

“And the Spirit of the Lord will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man. And let it be, when these signs are come unto thee, that thou do as occasion serve thee; for God is with thee.” 1 Samuel 10:6-7

“Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.” Zechariah 4:6

The spirit-empowered life shall make you a sign and a wonder to the unbelievers around you. This is what makes you both a true witness and a solution provider to your generation. The fruits and the gifts of the Holy Spirit are products of a spirit-empowered life. This is where you acquire true liberty as a Christian to be a full expression of God’s glory.

May you be empowered by the Holy Spirit in Jesus name.

Spirit-controlled life

“For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.” Romans 8:6.

A spirit-controlled life is a spiritually-minded life. This is the kind of life that puts God first. His word and His Holy Spirit are prioritized above others. Your mind is set on things that are above and not on things on the earth. You desire all of God and you are passionate about His voice. The result of this life is a spiritual advantage that produces supernatural evidence, including Spirit-empowered life and peace.

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33

“If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” Colossians 3:1-2

In this kind of life, fellowship with God is considered more important than discussion with men. Obedience to God is esteemed more than the emotional attachment or sentiments of men. This kind of life entails choosing to suffer affliction with the people of God, rather than enjoying the pleasures of sin for a season. It involves emptying oneself for the fullness of God.

May you give your mind to the Holy Spirit in Jesus name.

Mind breakthrough

 “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.” Proverbs 23:7.

Any progress or breakthrough you desire must first happen in your mind. If it has not happened in your mind, it will never happen in your life. Even if you have it in your spirit, it must be received in your mind for you to have it in your life. Mind breakthrough is a life breakthrough. You must have a mind shift for you to have a life shift. Your “mindful” is your “life full.”

“And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.” Hebrews 11:15

“But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.” Genesis 19:26

Your mind care is your life care. Your life cannot reach what your mind has not reached. You need three things to take care of your mind; they are information, motivation, and revelation. Your mind breakthrough takes place at the place of revelation. You must cultivate a listening mind, a reading mind, and more importantly a meditative mind, if you want to experience a mind breakthrough for a life breakthrough. A thinking mind is a productive mind. God has given you a sound mind.

May your mind receive what you need for your breakthrough in Jesus name.

It shall turn to a testimony

 “And it shall turn to you for a testimony.” Luke 21:13.

The situation you are going through shall turn into a testimony. What the enemy meant for evil, God shall turn to good. Your situation can be a stepping-stone for your greatness if you can view it from a positive perspective. Your enemy can help you to get to your destination if you understand that he or she does not have the final say about your life. You will need to think through and pray through the situation for it to turn into a testimony.

“But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.” Genesis 50:20

“And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the Lord had shut up her womb." 1 Samuel 1:6

The truth is that some of us need a ‘good enemy’ to be who God wants us to be. Joseph would have stayed permanently with his father if not for the fact that he was sold to the Ishmeelites by his brothers. He would have stayed permanently with Potiphar if not for the lies of Potiphar’s wife against him. Anna would have been contented with a double portion of food if not for the provocation of Peninnah. Her positive response to that provocation gave her Samuel and six more children. Many of us would not have known the power of God if not for the fact that we were faced with adversaries and situations that were stronger than us.

May your enemy and your situation become your stepping-stones to glory in Jesus name.

Use prayer

 “And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;” Luke 18:1.

I believe strongly that prayer is needed at all times even in both the good and the challenging times. If you can pray, you cannot lose. If you can pray, you don’t need to worry. If you can pray, you don’t need to complain. In a challenging time, pray day and night. If you can pray, you can overcome unbelief. In actual fact, God sees your act of praying as an act of belief and will respond to you if you do not faint.

“And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?” Luke 18:7-8

“But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John." Luke 1:13

Zacharias kept on praying for a child, and he also kept on serving. His conversation with the Angels showed he did not believe. Yet God responded. Even if your situation looks so difficult that you don’t believe that it can change, keep on praying day and night and keep on serving. Your breakthrough is near in Jesus name.

The key of words and faith

 “We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;” 2 Corinthians 4:13.

Until you are able to speak it or declare it, your faith is not in place. Practice declaring your victory over and over again until your situation changes. You know when dealing with a difficult situation, you can start from a position of unbelief but you must not stay there. When you start praying or making a declaration towards your breakthrough, your position changes. Generally, your faith is activated through your words.

“Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.” 1 Samuel 17:45

“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith." Mark 11:23

The giant you cannot speak against you cannot bring down. The mountain you cannot speak against you cannot move. Even if your eyes cannot see the victory or your ears cannot hear it, always speak your victory in the midst of challenges.

The word is enough

 “All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.” John 1:3-4.

Seek the word daily and nothing will catch you by surprise. If anything happens and you have the word, then you have what to say or do. The word is the creator. The word is the light. The word is a daily need just like food is a daily need. If the word of God is in your mouth, no situation or enemy can defeat you. Ask God for the word you need for now.

“But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” Matthew 4:4

“And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:" Ephesians 6:17

The word is your sword of the Spirit. It is your equipment fit for all battles. If you don’t have the word to speak, it is better to keep quiet and seek the word first. When you have the word, be bold no matter your situation. Always believe the word and speak the word against the challenge. If you have the word, you have the victory.

I decree you are a winner all the time in Jesus name.

Who is lying?

 “God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.” Romans 3:4.

When God's word says you are healed, but your body is feeling pain, who is lying? The word of God or your feeling? When the word of God says go forward, but an obstacle like the red sea or Jericho wall is before you, who is lying? God or your sight? When the word of God says you are strong, but you are feeling weak and depressed, who is lying? God or your feeling? Your choice of what you declare determines who you believe is lying. But the word of God says, let God be true, but every man a liar, including what you can see or feel that is contrary to the word of God.

“Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.” Joel 3:10

“For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned." Matthew 12:37

What you say is more important than what you are going through. This is because it determines whether you believe God or not, and consequently the course of your life. Perhaps you are going through a difficult situation right now and you are finding it difficult to declare what the word of God says about it. Don’t declare what you want to change (that is don’t say I am sick, or poor, or broke), but meditate and listen to the word until you are able to declare it.

 

Your faith is working in Jesus name.

Use your word 2

 “Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.” Acts 3:6.

You have the word, use it. In the face of adversity and attacks, use your word to bring deliverance and the changes you need. Peter said he didn’t even have silver and gold, but he had the word. The word was enough to bring a miracle. Declare your expectation and not your unwanted situation. Water will come out of your rock if you will speak to it.

“Take the rod, and gather thou the assembly together, thou, and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock: so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink.” Numbers 20:8

“The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed." Mathew 8:8

 Speak to your mountain to move. Speak to your giant to fall. Speak to your obstacles to give way. Your word is powerful enough to make things happen. Don’t keep quiet when an enemy or a situation is speaking again you. Speak the Word only and expect results. And when you speak in the name of Jesus, no demon has the power to oppose.

Your word is working in Jesus name.

Use your word 1

 “Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?” Ecclesiastes 8:4.

All kings have kingdoms and determine what happens through their words. They permit some things and reject others based on their decisions using their words. Now, as a child of God, you have been given the keys to bind and to loose using your words. The implication is this: you are the gateman of your life, what you reject leaves, and what you accept stays.

“And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.” Revelation 5:10

"And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." Mathew 16:19

Establishing a kingdom involves two major things: permission of what should be permitted and restriction of what should be restricted. Similarly, in one’s life, there are certain things that must happen and there are things that must be rejected. What should you do with this? Bind whatever the enemy has planted in your life and cast it out. Loose whatever the enemy is withholding from you. You can use your mouth to unlock your destiny.

It is your day of manifestation in Jesus name.

This is your day

 “This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalms 118:24.

This is your day of good tidings. You shall be visited today. What you have considered an obstacle shall turn to be a miracle. This declaration is based on the light of His word that says, “This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” If God has made it for you, then it is your day. This is the day you have been waiting for. Your story shall turn to glory this day in Jesus. If you believe, please receive this word today.

 “Then they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace:….” 2 Kings 7:9

“Give us this day our daily bread.” Matthew 6:11

In 2 Kings 7, we read the story of how abundance came to Samaria after an intense famine caused by the siege of the enemy. A word from the Lord went ahead and broke the siege, causing an unusual abundance at the gate of Samaria. The Lepers that first discovered the miracle declared this is a day of good tidings. Similarly, I have a word for someone who is at quarter to shame, you shall not see any shame because this is your day of divine visitation in Jesus name.

This is your day of favor and a new beginning in Jesus name.

God’s dealing with His Children 7

 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” Galatians 5:22-23

If you yield to the Spirit of God in your life, you will produce the fruit of the Spirit. The human mind is a battlefield. The flesh and the spirit are contrary to one another. This is why there are two kinds of mind: the carnal mind and the spirit mind. The carnal mind powers the works of the flesh, but the spirit mind produces the fruit of the spirit. If you are subject to the dealing of God in your life, you cannot be carnal.

“For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.” Romans 8:6-8

 “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.” Psalms 51:10-12.

If you are not producing the fruits God expects from your life, you must surrender yourself afresh to God and ask Him to work on you. You must become a living sacrifice on the altar of God and permit Him to do His surgical operation on your life through His Holy Spirit. This definitely will not be easy for you because some of the old habits that are carnal that you used to enjoy shall be dealt with. But in the end, you will enjoy life and peace.

May you experience a newness of life through the Holy Spirit in Jesus name.

 “Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.” Ephesians 4:8

God gives good gifts to His children. There are various gifts spoken about in the bible that God gives. These include gifts of the spirit that enable us to do supernatural work; Ministerial gifts that enable us to build people; and, skills that enable us to execute our assignments excellently on earth. All these gifts are accessed through the Holy Spirit. Primarily, God gives us gifts based on our asking. You are even permitted to covet gifts (1 Cor 12:31).

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” James 1:17

 “If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?” Matthew 7:11.

God is willing to give you gifts so if you desire any gift, ask Him. However, the gateway to all of God’s gifts is the fullness of the Holy Spirit. Ask God to baptize you in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. It is important for you to know that if you thirst and hunger for the gifts, you cannot be denied. You can also receive supernatural skills to handle your secular jobs (Exodus 31).

May you be filled with the Holy Spirit in Jesus name.

 “And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.” John 1:16

God gives grace to His children. As a child of God, the grace of God must increase continually in your life. You must move from grace to grace. Jesus carried grace without limits. If you are born again, you have received a saving grace. If you grow in the knowledge of Jesus, you will receive grace to walk on earth like Jesus did. Grace is God at work in you. Grace is a gift. Grace is attracted by humility. Grace is what you need to overcome sin.

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:” Ephesians 2:8

 “But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.” James 4:6.

When grace is at work in your life, you experience timely mercy and timely help. Timely mercy makes judgment lose its power, protocols are suspended and laws are set aside. Timely help makes promotion, lifting, and enlargement available without struggle. When grace is at work in your life, you work hard without feeling it or complaining about it. If God has given you the grace to do something begin to do it.

May grace be evident in your life in Jesus name.

God’s dealing with His Children 4

 “Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.” Isaiah 48:17

God gives instructions to His children. He teaches and leads them. And when they follow, they become who He wants them to be. No matter where you are and what you do, you must be instructed by God as His child. This must be the source of your wisdom if you don’t want to be corrupted by the ways of this world.

“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” Romans 8:14

 “And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Hebrews 9:15.

The choice to be led and instructed by God through His Word and the Holy Spirit must be made by all His children. It seems to me that this is the seal of our sonship. This is what distinguishes us from the world. This is what makes us to manifest as the light to the whole world.

May you be led by God in Jesus name.

 “And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.” 2 Corinthians 6:16

God’s dealing with you is covenant-based. A covenant is an agreement between two or more persons that involved promises and commitments. A covenant ensures the exchange of strength, provision, protection, and security. The new covenant is based on better promises. This is because, in the new covenant, God does not only be with us, He dwells in us. We become the ark of God. In this new covenant, Jesus is the mediator and His blood is the seal of the covenant.

“But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.” Hebrews 8:6

 “And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.” Hebrews 9:15.

The new covenant guarantees us the promise of eternal inheritance. It is the seal of God’s ownership upon your life. Whose you are is more important than who you are. The new covenant is your power over the wickedness and the challenges in this world. Surrender the totality of your life to the Holy Spirit and see the covenant at work in your life.

May you the new covenant be at work in your life in Jesus name.

God’s dealing with His Children 2

 “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” John 1:12

Your part in God’s dealing with you is summarized in three words: believe, receive, and become. The plan of God is hidden in both His written and spoken words. It is of utmost importance that the Word comes to you. And when the Word comes to you, you must believe it to receive it, and you must receive it to become it. When you become what the Word says you are, you are a delight to the Father.

“And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.” Luke 1:38

 “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20.

Mary the mother of Jesus is a model of what our response should be when God’s plan is made known to us. We should simply believe and accept His plans to enjoy supernatural results. Beloved, it is time to go back to the Lord and reaffirm our commitment to walking in His plan. We should permit Him to do whatever He wants with our lives.

God’s dealing with His Children 1

 “A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.” Ezekiel 36:26-27

Starting from today, I want to share with you how God deals with His children in this dispensation of grace. This will include the plan, the new covenant, the instruction, the grace, the gift, and the fruit. Going back to Genesis, you see how God provided a space for Adam, gave him instructions, and fellowshipped with him daily. Satan’s attack was directed at the instruction God gave Adam and Adam’s fellowship with God in order to steal the space God gave him. So when God declared His plan for dealing with His children through Ezekiel, it was based on walking in His instructions and fellowship through His indwelling Spirit.

“And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest, Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.” Hebrews 7:15-16

 “For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:” Hebrews 8:10.

God’s dealing with His children in this dispensation is centered on Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. This plan works based on the people receiving Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Jesus is another priest not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life. Basically, God empowers His people to walk in His instruction through the Holy Spirit when they receive Jesus into their lives.

May you know God personally and intimately in Jesus name.

Sanitize your house

 “Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.” John 14:30

Don’t keep anything that belongs to satan with you if you want to enjoy your Christian life. Whether in the house you are living or in your body, don’t permit any property of satan. If satan finds his property anywhere, he will come in and work there. And I tell you his work is not good.  Can you believe that he was looking for something in Jesus? But he could not find anything. He was looking for something that would permit him to come in and hinder the work of our salvation but he found nothing.

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” John 10:10

 “And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;” John 2:15.

Jesus dealt with the sellers of oxen, sheep, and doves, and the changers of the money in the temple with a scourge to restore the dignity of the temple. He drove them out with notable zeal. This is because when unwanted guests are welcome in a place, they change the outlook and effects of the place. Don’t permit the work of the flesh, fear, unbelief, hatred, lies, fornication, and such in your life. They are the properties of the devil, but your body is the temple of God.

May your house be sanitized by the blood of Jesus.

Seeing precedes taking

 “And he said, What have they seen in thine house? And Hezekiah answered, All the things that are in mine house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shewed them.” 2 Kings 20:15

Until it is seen, it cannot be taken. You need to see your divine allocation in order to take it. Also, unless the enemy sees anything that belongs to you, he cannot steal it. I pray for you that your eyes be opened to see and that the eyes of your enemy be shut from seeing in Jesus name. Hezekiah took the envoys from Babylon and showed them all his treasures, nothing was hidden from them. The Prophet came to him and told him that the king of Babylon shall take them. Anything you don’t want the enemy to steal, don’t show it to him.

“And the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.” Genesis 13:14-15

 “Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree. Then said the Lord unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.” Jeremiah 1:11-12.

Whatever you can see, God will give to you. Your spiritual sight determines the limit of what God can give to you. Ask God to open your eyes, because your physical eye is a limitation. Also, you must see well to perform well, and for the word of God to be hastened for results in your life.

May your eyes be opened, may you possess your possessions this month in Jesus name.

Keep a company of believers

 “Then Daniel went to his house, and made the thing known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions: That they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this secret; that Daniel and his fellows should not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.” Daniel 2:17-18

 

Your faith shall be tested. In a time of test, you need people that will encourage your faith and not people that will cause you to doubt. Daniel himself was a strong believer, but his companions are strong believers too. People who entered a furnace and the fire could not do them any harm. These people were ready to join him when he needed to know the king’s dream and the interpretation. An assignment the magician considered impossible. It is easier to believe if you keep the company of believers.

“And when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying.” Mark 13:30-31

 “And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it. But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.” Numbers 13:30-31.

Choose a believing company and live! Jesus removed the company of doubters before He brought Jairus daughter back to life. Caleb encouraged the people to believe and take the promised land in Numbers 13 but the others except Joshua said it could not be done. Both groups got what they believed. The group that believed it could be done despite the presence of giants, got into the land. The people that did not believe did not get there.

All things are possible for you in Jesus name.

New things 2

 “Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.” Isaiah 43:18-19

Get ready for new things that God wants to do in your life. God is perfect, but we are not. This is why it is important for us to consciously align ourselves to what He wants to do. New wine cannot stay in an old bottle. Similarly, we must prepare ourselves for the new things God wants to do. We must get ready spirit, soul, and body. Your perspective, thought, desperation, prayer, and giving can get you ready to receive from God.

“If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:” Isaiah 1:19

“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.” Matthew 11:12

Your perspective must be positive, while you must align your thought to possibility. This is an indication of your willingness to receive from God. If you doubt God for any reason, you hinder Him. Obey God in all things, be desperate in your prayer and in your giving. This is your key to taking it by force.
