The last quarter of 2023

" Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness." Psalm 65:11KJV

You are welcome to the last quarter of the year 2023. I decree that the Lord will crown the year for you with His goodness, and your paths will drop fatness. Hear the word of the Lord: expect the best in the year 2023 in this last quarter. There are three things you should engage in. The first is to let your thanksgiving be more than asking. The second is that you should bind the enemy and command him to loose his hold on what belongs to you. The third is that you should call forth what belongs to you. God is not withholding any good things from you. Take positive steps and expect God to bless you.

“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.” Psalms 100:4-5 KJV

“And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Matthew 16:19KJV

The key to this message is: be thankful and speak as if God is speaking, then go to work. If you are grateful, you will have access to both the joy of the Lord and His presence. If you speak boldly even when you are afraid, the enemy will be scared of you. He knows you have authority anyway. If you are a worker blessed by the Lord, things will work for you. So don’t fold your arms. You may need to do what you think is a giant task and are afraid of. God is giving you both His grace and His strength. All things are possible for those who believe.

Your best for this year shall be in these last three months, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let every impossibility become possible for me, in Jesus’ name.

Salvation: Lord Jesus, I believe in the forgiveness of sin and in the redemption from the power of darkness through your blood. I confess you as my Savior and Lord.  I invite you into my life to save my soul. Holy Spirit, come into my heart and make me what you want me to be. Thank you Lord for saving me in Jesus name.

Stir up the gift of God

"Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands." 2 Timothy 1:6KJV

As a Christian, you are gifted both physically and spiritually. You must identify your gift and put it to use. Timothy was advised to stir it up. Another version of the bible says to fan it to flame. In other words, it is possible for a gift to be dormant and just exist in a “potential” state unless something is done about it and with it. Moreover, God expects you to profit with your gift. You need to be active with God’s deposit in your life and sharpen the gifts through the right training. The people you move with are also important; they can either make alive your gift or kill it.

“Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.” Matthew 13:52 KJV

“He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.” Proverbs 13:20 KJV

We are in an advantage generation in that any training we will need that will help our gift is most likely available online. Also, collaboration is now so easy, and it is about being intentional and focus on who you want to relate with. It is time for us to take advantage of these and make use of our gifts for our generation.

May you be relevant in this age in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, put your fire in me and use me for your glory, in Jesus’ name.

Build your spiritual capacity!

" After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter." Revelation 4:1 KJV

I want to encourage you to invest in your spiritual capacity. There are some promises that will only be realized if you ascend spiritually. God has more for you than you are currently experiencing. Be hungry and thirsty for more of God, and let this drive you to invest more time in His presence. The ministry of prayer and the word is what builds a believer’s capacity. This can be reinforced by fasting and personal consecration to God. The best of God is reserved for those who are separated unto Him. God wants to show you things that will secure your destiny in Him, but you need to come up spiritually to see them.

“Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another: and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon his name.” Malachi 3:16KJV

“‘But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.” Acts 6:4KJV

Build yourself up in your most holy faith by praying in the Holy Spirit and keeping yourself in the love of God (Jude 20–21). Engage in the word of God’s grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified (Acts 20:32). Fast regularly, as there is a certain level of faith you cannot engage in unless you add fasting to your spiritual exercise (Matthew 6:16, Matthew 17:20–21).

It is time to receive more of God in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, I desire more of You; fill me with your wisdom and power, in Jesus’ name.

Not that far!

"Salvation that comes from trusting Christ-which is the message we preach- is already within easy reach. In fact, the scriptures say, 'The message is close at hand; it is on your lips and in your heart" Romans10:8 NLT

The solution you are looking for is as close to you as the word in your mouth; it is not that far. God has deposited in and around you what you need to overcome the challenges of life. One of these is the word in your mouth and in your heart. I believe if you are confronted by a storm or a mountain, you must speak to it first. Also, if you are confronted by a “goliath”, you must “curse” him first. You can pray, and you can declare the word of God. The word is so powerful to bring you the deliverance and miracle you need, if you know how to use it. God has also deposited something in you and around you to help you appropriate the opportunity and deal with the challenges around you.

“And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink.” Genesis 21:19 KJV

“‘Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.” 2Timothy 1:6 KJV

For Hagar and her dying son in the desert, it was a water well very close to her that God opened her eyes to see. (Gen. 21:19). For Moses and the Children of Israel at the red sea, it was the rod in the hand of Moses (Ex. 14:16). For the widow of the prophet, who owed so much that creditors were going to seize her two sons, it was the little oil that was in her house. (2Kings 4:2). And for Timothy, a youth pastoring the large church of Ephesus, It was his gift (2Tim. 1:6). So, beloved, don't look too far; the solution is close by. It is in you and around you.

I ask God to open your eyes to what you have. Let His mighty hands see you through every challenge in life.

Prayer for today: Oh God, as this month is running to an end, give me a breakthrough testimony, in Jesus’ name.

Effective thinking 3

“I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee.” Job 42:5  KJV.

When we talk about effective thinking as Christians, there are three kinds of Christians, and the way they think differ. There are nominal Christians; they bear Christian names, sometimes attend church, but are not committed to the Lord. There are Christians who became Christians because someone told them about Christ. These can grow into the third kind of Christians who have grown from hearing about Christ but have personal encounters with Him. Your thinking will change if you have a personal encounter with Jesus.

“And when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the hall, and were set down together, Peter sat down among them. But a certain maid beheld him as he sat by the fire, and earnestly looked upon him, and said, This man was also with him.  And he denied him, saying, Woman, I know him not.” Luke 22:55-57KJV

“Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.” Acts 4:13 KJV

Peter's thinking changed from the one that produced timidity to the kind of thinking that produced boldness. What changed? He received the Holy Spirit and Power. Ask God for more of Him. You can determine the effectiveness of your thinking by the fruit in your life. If you don’t like the fruit, ask God for a fresh encounter.

May you have a personal encounter with God in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, Let  me have a personal experience of Your Person and Your Powers, in Jesus’ name.

Effective thinking 2

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua 1:8KJV.

Effective thinking for a Christian is thinking that aligns with God’s word. If you have access into the mystery of God’s word and feed your mind with the word, you will think like God. If you are spiritually minded, your thinking will produce life and peace. God wants us to walk with Him so that whenever we think, we think exactly how He would think. Then we will naturally produce supernatural results. The price for this experience is that we must sow ourselves into God until we abide in Him and His word abides in us (John 15:7).

“For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.” Romans 8:5-6KJV

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:2 KJV

How did Moses know he could divide the red sea? What made Joshua think he could stop the sun? Why was Jesus not moved by the storm? Their thinking was beyond the mental realm. Their minds had been engaged by the values that were only available in the depths of the spirit. Beloved, it is time to pay the price for supernatural thinking.

May you catch the fire and get an understanding of this word in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, give me access into the mystery of your word, in Jesus’ name.

Effective thinking 1

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things” Philippians 4:8KJV.

You cannot really separate your life from the way you think. As you think in your mind, so you are. I believe strongly that thinking is like mining the mind. The mind is the greatest physical resource in our lives. Deep down in our minds are solutions to our problems. Thinking is what brings out this solution. You cannot live a good life if you are a lazy thinker or a negative thinker. If you are going to be an effective thinker, you must be deliberate about what you feed your mind. Effective thinking will make you come to yourself. Effective thinking is focused thinking.

“And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!.” Luke 15:17KJV

“The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.” Matthew 6:22 KJV

Your thinking determines what you believe, and what you believe determines what you say or do.  There is wrong and right thinking; there is also positive and negative thinking. Effective thinking is right and positive, so it brings a right and positive life. Effective thinking brings life and peace, not death.  Effective thinking is thinking through the problem to find a solution. To think effectively, you must feed your mind with a good report and separate time to do the act of thinking.

Your week is blessed in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, guide me to think effectively and correctly, in Jesus’ name.

Challenging the status quo

“For it was little which thou hadst before I came, and it is now increased unto a multitude; and the Lord hath blessed thee since my coming: and now when shall I provide for mine own house also?” Genesis 30:30 KJV.

The situation you are not willing to challenge, you cannot change. The future you are not willing to embrace, you cannot conquer. Say no to stagnancy, defeat, limitation, and such that have kept you from realizing your full potential. You are more than this. You can challenge the status quo by engaging in personal development and seeking the face of the Lord.  Don’t wait for things to change; enforce the change. You don’t have a job, you are still sleeping throughout the night, and you are not working on yourself daily? You are in a strange land, and you live anyhow, and you are not engaging the power of the night? You must really be joking with the years God has invested in you. The good news is that you can change things right now.

“And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.” 1 Chronicles 4:10KJV

“And David enquired at the Lord, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.” 1 Samuel 30:8KJV

Beloved, if what you are going through is blocking your vision, turn to God to open your eyes. God wants to do greater things through you. God wants you to be blessed, not just survive. God wants to enlarge and increase you. Start by asking God to help you and give you the wisdom and power that you need. Sharpen your skills through training and personal development, and dare to take new territories by taking bold steps.

May you increase on every side in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, enlarge my coast and expand my territory, in Jesus’ name.

Don’t doubt yourself!

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:13.KJV.

Self-doubt is a negative force; you must come out of it if you really desire to make an impact with your life. The people who believed God never doubted themselves. They speak in one-person singular tense, although they knew God was working through them. You cannot work with God if you doubt yourself. God will have to pull you out of self-doubt before He works with you. This was what He did with Gideon in Judges 6. If you are doubting yourself, you have not met God. Spend time with God until you build your confidence.  You will surely need to believe in yourself to change situations and make your life count (Daniel 11:32).

“And David said to Saul, Let no man's heart fail because of him; thy servant (I) will go and fight with this Philistine.” 1 Samuel 17:32KJV (emphasis mine)

“And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the Lord God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.” 1 Kings 17:1KJV

“Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.” Acts 3:6

David said to Saul, don’t worry, I will go and kill the giant. Saul said you couldn’t! He gave Saul testimonies of the act of God through him. He spoke in first-person singular tense to Goliath. He said, "I will kill you today." These are not the statements of a person who is doubting himself. These are statements from a person who believed God and believed that God was working through him. See also the words of Elijah and Peter.

May you have an encounter with God that will build your self-confidence in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, give me the spirit of power, love and a sound mind, in Jesus’ name.

This is your time!

“For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.” Isaiah 60:2.KJV.

Darkness gives light the opportunity to shine. The world is in gross darkness, which provides an opportunity for the carriers of light to shine. The wisdom of this world cannot handle the trouble that is in this present perverse world. The world and its wisdom succeeded in providing technological advancement but have not been able to provide solutions for diseases, poverty and sin that are eating the world away. So the world is earnestly seeking your manifestation because you are the light carrier, and therefore you are the solution to her problems.

“For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.  For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.” Romans 8:19-22KJV

“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.  Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16 KJV

It is your time. It is time for you to activate the light in you and let it shine. Perhaps you are saying, Dr. Amos, how can I be who the world needs when I cannot even feed myself or am in so much trouble? Stop saying that; get into the fire of God’s presence and see if you will not meet the needs of the world. Spend time with God, ask Him for His specific word for you on your assignment, ask for access to His secrets, and act on His instructions.

It is time for God to be revealed through you in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let Your fire fall upon me, in Jesus’ name.

You are not alone!

“Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’.” Isaiah 41:10NKJV.

The consciousness of God’s presence can empower you to beat all fears, worries and anxieties. The presence of God gives strength and brings help. If you realize that you are not alone and that God is helping you, you can defeat any situation or adversary. No believer in Christ is alone. You are different, and your case is different if you are a believer in Christ. No matter what, say to yourself, I cannot be defeated because I am not alone, and God is helping me. It will always end in praise for a believer in Christ.

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.” Isaiah 43:2 NKJV

“But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!” And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased.” Matthew 14:30-32

If you think you are alone, your faith will be shaky. However, if you believe that Jesus is holding your hand, you can walk on water and do the impossible. Can you imagine that Peter walked on the same water where he was sinking when Jesus held his hand. What was the difference? The consciousness and reality of Christ's presence. I am glad to announce to you that you are not dealing with things alone. The Person who is helping you cannot and will not fail. Please celebrate your victory, even amid the battle.

You shall get into the boat, and the wind shall cease in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, save me, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer facilitates action

“But as one was felling a beam, the axe head fell into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas, master! for it was borrowed. And the man of God said, Where fell it? And he shewed him the place. And he cut down a stick, and cast it in thither; and the iron did swim. Therefore said he, Take it up to thee. And he put out his hand, and took it.” 2 Kings 6:5-7.

Prayer will do at least three things for you: enables you to know what to do, empower you to do what you should do, and bring divine intervention for what is beyond you. When prayer goes before action, then the action will be successful. Prayer is not a lazy man’s way but a wise man’s way to engage divinity in the affairs of humanity. After praying, you still need to act, although prayer is an act by itself. The act of the Apostles could not have been possible without praying first. Prayer will make the axe head float on water, but you still need to put out your hand and take it.

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Acts 1:8

“Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.” Acts 12:5

No matter how strong or weak you think you are, make prayer part of your daily routine. Pray without ceasing. Pray, whether your condition is good or bad. Pray if you desire to ascend and have authority over the power of the enemy. Pray if you desire to take territory for God’s kingdom. Pray if you need to change things and make things work.

May you be effective in prayer in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, give me the grace to daily fellowship with you in prayer, in Jesus’ name.

Seek the kingdom!

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33.

If, as a Christian, you are not seeking more of God, you are missing a lot. If all you are seeking is what the people of the world are seeking, you will be powerless, susceptible, and vulnerable to all forms of attack.  This is more important, the reality of the scriptural promises of God depends on your experience of God and His power. If you don’t have power with God, you will think that the testimonies of divine acts are not true because you are not experiencing them.

“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:” Matthew 7:7

“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31

How long can you tarry in God’s presence? How long can you wait on God? The power you need to fulfill your destiny can only be given to you by God and is available in His presence. It is high time you left the outer court and came into the Holy of Holies. Then you will be divinely empowered to be an instrument of wonder in this generation.

May you be divinely empowered in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let Your power come upon me in Jesus’ name.

The art of receiving 4

“Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” Mark 11:24.

I am sure that our text today has unlocked the art of receiving from the Lord when you pray. The text is saying that when you pray, believe, you will receive. The moment you believe, you receive. So you must understand how to believe, if you want to receive. The belief in your heart is what determines your destiny, not the belief in your head. The question is how do you believe in your heart when faced with an impossible situation and you are praying? My answers are: Meditate on God’s word concerning the matter (Romans 10:17), and you must confess that you receive until faith is born within you or until you receive even when you have prayed (mark 11:24).

“And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.” Luke 1:45

" Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.  A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.” Matthew 12:33-35

You need to know that whatever you believe in your heart and verbalize with your mouth will always happen in your life. A doubt in your head does not equal a doubt in your heart until you verbalize it, as does what you believe. Put the word of God in your heart through meditation, and confess the word of God no matter your situation. Whenever you have prayed on a matter, confess, “I believe I receive.” I am convinced in my heart that when you pray repeatedly on a matter, God sees it as faith Luke 18:1–8, Luke 1:13–20.

May you give testimony on the matter quickly, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: I believe, I recieve, in Jesus’ name.

The art of receiving 3

“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:” Matthew 7:7.

Everyone who asks receives This means that whatever you need from God is just a “asking” away. If you believe this, you will never doubt, you will ask until you receive. This gives you faith in asking. This gives you courage to ask. This gives you confidence in asking. God is a giver of good things to His children, so if you count yourself as one of His children, ask and you will receive.  Never be afraid to ask God. Never be too big to ask God. Never be too ashamed to ask God. When you ask God, expect to receive.

“If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?” Luke 11:13

" Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.” Psalms 2:8

If you ask me, how long should you ask? My response is until you receive. Tomorrow I will explain to you about “when you receive”. Let me tell you that the fact that something you ask does not happen within your own time frame does not mean that God has not answered. You cannot put God in your own purpose. You must put yourself into God’s purpose. If you do, you will always receive answers to your prayers. I looked back to many of the things that I asked God in the past, and I found that truly, if you ask, you will receive, although the timing is God’s.

May you be confident in asking from God, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, fill my life with Your wisdom and power, in Jesus’ name.

Salvation: Lord Jesus, I believe in the forgiveness of sin and in the redemption from the power of darkness through your blood. The art of receiving 2

“For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?:” 1 Corinthians 4:7.

Let me tell you about one of the factors that separates a Christian from another: the ability to receive from the Lord. God is not limited in resources; and He is a purposeful God. He is not a respecter of persons, but He honors faith and dishonors doubts. Can you trust God with your life? Can you acknowledge God in all that you do? Can you be consistent and persistent in your relationship with God? Can you ask God to fill you for His purpose? If your answer to all these questions is in the affirmative, then you are set up for great heights in destiny, no matter your weaknesses and physical limitations.

“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebrews 11:6

"If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.” James 1:5-7

The problem is that most people who claim to have given their lives to Jesus Christ are holding it tightly. They trust in their own abilities more than God. They also want to do what they like and behave anyhow. This is why they are failing to receive from God. Beloved, you cannot have the best on earth without receiving something from God. True Christians receive from God; I am not talking about Christianity by name or by church attendance. I am talking of Christianity as a definite, clear, and consistent relationship with God.

May you hear what the Spirit is saying, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, have Your way in my life, in Jesus’ name.

The art of receiving 1

“For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?:” 1 Corinthians 4:7.

You cannot give to the world if you have not received from the Lord. Everyone who has truly received from the Lord and imparted the world knows that his boast can only be of the Lord and not himself. The more you walk in humility, the more you receive from the Lord and the more impactful you become. A lot of people are failing because they think they don’t need the Lord. Some give up before receiving what their destiny needs from the Lord. Don’t be deceived, all truly great men on earth have received something from the Lord.

“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” John 15:5

"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” James 1:17

You need the grace of God, the gifts and the anointing of the Holy Spirit, the blessing of the Lord, and the wisdom and power of God, if you desire to fulfill your destiny. Fortunately, God is willing to give to whomever comes to Him and asks. Jacob learned his lesson after struggling for years. He turned to the Lord and said, I will not let you go unless you bless me. If you desire to change the course of your life, you must receive something from the Lord.

May you receive the wisdom and the power of God, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: I receive from the Lord what my life and destiny needt, in Jesus’ name.

Taking your inheritance 3

“Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:” Colossians 1:12-13.

Every believer in Christ is qualified to be a partaker of the inheritance of the saints. This is because we are delivered from the power of darkness. We are no longer in any form of bondage. This must be our mentality, even if we need to deal with such issues and situations. Also, we belong to a superior kingdom, the kingdom of God’s dear Son, Jesus Christ. I believe we must set our minds on what Jesus has obtained for us more than our challenges if we want to really walk in the light of our inheritance.  We must magnify the work of God and His glory above the work of the enemy.

“Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.” Ephesians 2:5-7

"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death..” Romans 8:1-2

We must deal with the issues of sin, sickness, and poverty from the perspective of a winner rather than from the perspective of a victim. If we are conscious of the fact that we are seated with Christ in the heavenly places, and walk by the spirit, we can deal with anything that wants our life not to reflect God’s glory. Perhaps you are going through “things” right now, you can predict that your testimony will surely come, if you maintain your walk in the spirit.

We have the victory, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, help me to walk through all challenges in the consciousness of the finished work of Christ, in Jesus’ name.

Taking your inheritance 2

“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints” Ephesians 1:17-18.

The bible talks about the inheritance of the saints. Is it not wonderful to know that, as a saint of Christ, you have an inheritance. Yes, I think it is. However, it is more important to take the inheritance. Our access key is the spirit of wisdom and revelation that enlightens our eyes of understanding. In other words, you must "know" to take. Only what is revealed to you belongs to you. You do not need only to know the inheritance; you must also know what to do to take it.

“The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.” Deuteronomy 29:29

" The labour of the foolish wearieth every one of them, because he knoweth not how to go to the city.” Ecclesiastes 10:15

You cannot afford to be ignorant of spiritual matters as a saint of God. If you are, the enemy will rob you, and you will not even be able to do anything about it. You have authority over the enemy, and he knows it. But if he succeeds in keeping you in darkness, then your life will not reflect the glory of God. This is the reason you should have the spirit of wisdom and revelation working in you. Then you can deal with every work of darkness and take your inheritance in Christ Jesus.

May your eyes of understanding be enlightened, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, give me the spirit of wisdom and revelation, in Jesus’ name.

Taking your inheritance 1

“And the Children of Joseph spoke unto Joshua, saying, why has thou given me but one lot and one portion to inherit, seeing I am a great people, for as much as the LORD hath blessed me hitherto?” Joshua 17:14.

Our text today is saying that it is possible for a person to be great and blessed, and yet he does not take what belongs to him. it is your responsibility to take what belongs to you. The Children of Joseph were great and blessed people but all they had was one lot from the Promised Land, the enemies were occupying other lots that belonged to them. Thank God they discovered that they were supposed to have more than what they had and went to Joshua. Joshua told them to fight and recover their portions from the enemy.

“Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.” Deuteronomy 2:24

" For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;).” 2 Corinthians 10:3-4

Beloved, if you are tired of where you are; if you know that there is seed of greatness in you and that you are blessed of the Lord; then I have an instruction from the Lord for you: fight on your knee for what belongs to you, chase the enemy away from your inheritance in the name of Jesus and possess your lots.

Rise up and take your inheritance, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: I drive out the enemy and possess my possessions, in Jesus’ name.
