“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints” Ephesians 1:17-18.
The bible talks about the inheritance of the saints. Is it not wonderful to know that, as a saint of Christ, you have an inheritance. Yes, I think it is. However, it is more important to take the inheritance. Our access key is the spirit of wisdom and revelation that enlightens our eyes of understanding. In other words, you must "know" to take. Only what is revealed to you belongs to you. You do not need only to know the inheritance; you must also know what to do to take it.
“The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.” Deuteronomy 29:29
" The
labour of the foolish wearieth every one of them, because he knoweth not how to
go to the city.” Ecclesiastes 10:15
You cannot afford to be ignorant of spiritual matters as a saint of God. If you are, the enemy will rob you, and you will not even be able to do anything about it. You have authority over the enemy, and he knows it. But if he succeeds in keeping you in darkness, then your life will not reflect the glory of God. This is the reason you should have the spirit of wisdom and revelation working in you. Then you can deal with every work of darkness and take your inheritance in Christ Jesus.
May your eyes of understanding be enlightened, in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for today: Oh God, give me the spirit of wisdom and revelation, in Jesus’ name.
Salvation: Lord Jesus, I believe in the forgiveness of sin and in the redemption
from the power of darkness through your blood. I confess you as my Savior and
Lord. I invite you into my life to save my soul. Holy Spirit, come into
my heart and make me what you want me to be. Thank you Lord for saving me in
Jesus name.
