Biblical principles of success 3

“And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art: Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou.” Genesis 41:39-40

You will become a person sought after if you are committed to excellence in your field. There is room at the top for everyone who excels in service or product delivery. The commitment to becoming excellent in your chosen field is an indispensable prerequisite for success. A commitment to excellence is the prerequisite for competence. Be competent in what you do. Be committed to consistent daily learning.

“Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.” Proverbs 22:29

“A man's gift maketh room for him, And bringeth him before great men. He that is first in his own cause seemeth just; But his neighbour cometh and searcheth him.” Proverbs 18:16-17

Don’t leave your vision unattended. Become the best man to run with your vision by building your capacity. As a Christian, be diligent in seeking God. If God teaches you or reveals something to you, your competence will be supernatural. Don’t neglect to learn from men, if you do, you may not be able to learn from God.

You will soar in life and destiny in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, give me an excellent spirit in Jesus' name.

Salvation: Lord Jesus, I believe in the forgiveness of sin and in the redemption from the power of darkness through your blood. I confess you as my Savior and Lord.  I invite you into my life to save my soul. Holy Spirit, come into my heart and make me what you want me to be. Thank you Lord for saving me in Jesus name.

Biblical principles of success 2

“For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?” 1 Corinthians 14:8

You must have a clear vision for your life and destiny to be successful. A clear vision gives clarity of direction. You must be decisive about what you want to do with your life. If you really want to predict your future, you have to create it. You create your future by having a clear vision. If you don’t have a vision, you go nowhere. I am glad to inform you that God can give you a vision. There is no vision like the heavenly vision. Paul was running with his own vision until he received a heavenly vision.

“Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” Proverbs 29:18

“I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.” Habakkuk 2:1-2

If you read through the Scriptures, you will discover that everyone who walked with God received a vision from Him. They wholeheartedly ran with the vision, and God helped them. I believe if you wait on God and ask Him for a vision, He will visit you. You can start by first walking in obedience to scriptural instructions.

May God give you a vision in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, show me my future in Jesus' name.

Biblical principles of success 1

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua 1:8

We shall be looking at the biblical principles of success starting today. As an introduction, God wants us to be successful, and He did not hide from us what we should do to become successful. He has clear instructions in His word for us. He actually said if we delight in His word and meditate daily on the word, we will walk in good success.

“But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” Psalm 1:2-3

“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,” Ephesians 1:17-18

Everyone who is successful in God’s way must have heard God first and obeyed him. You must ask God to grant you access into the mystery of His word. You must ask Him to give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation and ask that your eyes of understanding be enlightened. Ask God to open your ears to hear Him. He has promised to lead us in the way we should go and teach us to profit.

You will hear God in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, fill me with your Spirit and let me hear your voice in Jesus' name.

Stop looking down

“I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.” Psalms 121:1

Stop looking down, but rather look up to God. The trouble may be around you, but the help you need is up above you. The direction of your look determines the direction of your seeing. When you look down, you see the trouble; when you look up, you see the help you need. What you see determines what you will have. Look up to God to see and receive help from above. Look up to Jesus, who is able to give you faith to conquer the storms of life. Stop looking down at the storm and the challenges that bring fear into your life.

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2

“But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.” Matthew 14:30

One of the few things I have learned in life is that when you look up to God, you receive faith to win no matter how strong the opposition or the contrary circumstances. However, when you look down at the storm, you receive fear that can cause you to sink. I decree that you will not fail in Jesus' name. To look up means to commit the situation unto God in prayer and to believe that He has taken care of it. I decree that you will not see the storm anymore in Jesus' name.

You shall receive help in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, as I look up unto you, let me be marvelously helped in Jesus' name.

How to turn things around 3

“Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.” James 2:17

You have to do something to turn things around. You must do the things that you know. If what you know is not enough, go and acquire more knowledge. You must do what has been revealed. If you spend time in prayer and the Word, God will reveal it to you. You must obey the instructions of your mentors. If you don’t have a mentor, you are in danger of not making progress in life. Someone has experienced the turning point you desire, and he has shared what he did in a book, audio, or video. Find it and learn.

“And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.” Mark 5:26-29

“And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way. And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house.” Luke 19:4-5

You must run with something if you desire a turnaround. You cannot fold your arms. You must do the right thing correctly. It may be necessary to take time to find out what to do and how to do it. This is because you cannot run anyhow. The time spent waiting with determination to know what to do is not wasted. Whatever you decide to do, you must follow through, like Zacchaeus and the woman with the issue of blood.

May you know what to do in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, lead me in the way I should go in Jesus' name.

How to turn things around 2

“Now the Lord had told Samuel in his ear a day before Saul came, saying, To morrow about this time I will send thee a man out of the land of Benjamin, and thou shalt anoint him to be captain over my people Israel, that he may save my people out of the hand of the Philistines: for I have looked upon my people, because their cry is come unto me.” 1 Samuel 9:15-16

There is someone who has what you need to turn things around. It may be information, an impartation, a connection, an open door, or a material resource. This is the person you must meet. God orchestrated the meeting between Saul and Samuel. There was no way for Saul to experience a turnaround and become a king without meeting Samuel. He was so broke he had to borrow money from his father’s servant to give to the Prophet. However, his life changed after the meeting.

“When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me. Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.” Jojn 5:6-8

“And she said unto her husband, Behold now, I perceive that this is an holy man of God, which passeth by us continually.” 2 Kings 4:9

God does things in the life of a man through another man. Ask God to send you the man. 38 years' problem came to an end when the impotent man met Jesus. Sometimes, the man is just around you, but you must perceive and recognize that the man has what you need. The Shunammite woman perceived that Elisha was a man of God. Her encounter with Elisha turned things around for her.

May you meet who you are supposed to meet in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, orchestrate a meeting between me and the man that I need to turn things around in my life in Jesus' name.

How to turn things around 1

“Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?  And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.” Luke 1:34-35

Yesterday, I encouraged you not to be weary. Today and in the next few days, I want to share with you how to turn things around. How can a virgin become pregnant? The Holy Ghost! How can a barren life become fruitful? The Holy Ghost! How can the powerless become powerful? The Holy Ghost! How can you turn things around and get supernatural results? The Holy Ghost!!

“Because the palaces shall be forsaken; the multitude of the city shall be left; the forts and towers shall be for dens for ever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks; Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest..” Isaiah 32:14-15

“And the Spirit of the Lord will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man.” 1 Samuel 10:6

Mary asked the Angel, How shall this be since I am a virgin? The Angel answered the Holy Ghost shall come upon you and you will get supernatural results. May be you are asking the same question right now because your limitations and weaknesses are obvious. God asked me to tell you this morning that the Holy Ghost shall come upon you and you will get supernatural results.

This is your week of supernatural breakthroughs in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Holy Ghost fire, fall upon me now in Jesus' name.

Don’t be weary

“If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? and if in the land of peace, wherein thou trustedst, they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan?.” Jeremiah 12:5

Do not be weary in the pursuit of your dreams and vision. Do not surrender your dreams to any demon, whether small or big. Be ready to contend with the men on foot and even with horses. Be willing to go and grow above weariness. Look inward for God's deposit, look sideward for God-allocated helpers, and look upward for divine empowerment. Be willing to cross the Jordan when it overflows and to go through the mountain, no matter how wide or tall.

“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2

Position yourself for the acquisition of knowledge and the impartation of grace. If your vision is worthwhile and your personality is important, you will surely be challenged. Make up your mind that you will get to your destination, and trust God all the way. It does not matter how things are looking now, God is working things out for you. You have an unbeatable combination with God, so be determined and resilient.

You shall get there in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, give me the strength to cross the sea and subdue the mountains on my way to the promised in Jesus' name.

The ministry of altars 5

“And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the Lord God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.” 1 Kings 17:1

As I conclude the message on the ministry of altars, I need to tell you that you should have a strong prayer altar if you want to be an altar of God. I think every Christian should be an altar of God. I also believe that the minimum time commitment for prayer is one hour (Matthew 26:40), but we should let the Holy Spirit guide us. Those in the ministry should give a tithe of a day (2 hours, 30 minutes). I am sounding religious this morning, aren't I? Well, this was what brought spiritual visitation to Cornelius in Act 10. Religion can actually provide the discipline that the fire of the Holy Ghost can ignite.

“Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.” Daniel 6:10

“And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.” Luke 6:12

My mentor, when I was studying for a PhD in Christian ministries, told us a life story (by the way, I also have a PhD in Chemical Engineering). A Christian lady was escorting him through a bush path because it was the shortest route to his house. Along the way, they met seven ritualists one of them carrying fresh human blood. There was a severe battle. The ritualists made terrible incantations. Within five minutes, the lady had quoted over a hundred bible verses. The ritualists were defeated, dropped the pot of blood, and ran for their lives. It is not a gender issue. If you become an altar for God, the kingdom of God will find an expression on earth through you.

You are God’s altar in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God baptize me with an hunger for you in Jesus' name.

The ministry of altars 4

“And he cried against the altar in the word of the Lord, and said, O altar, altar, thus saith the Lord;…….” 1 Kings 13:2

Altars are personalities, they are not only voices, they also have the capacity to hear and obey. If you get this right and understand that, as a Christian, when you speak, your word comes to pass, then you can defeat any altar. If you cry against any altar in the name of the Lord, the altar cannot operate any longer.

“We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;” 2 Corinthians 4:13

“Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied. This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.” 1 Samuel 17:45-45

How can you allow what you have authority over to wound you? Many challenges people face today are from evil altars. You cannot afford to keep quiet when you are going through mysterious battles. You represent God and His Holy Spirit. David, by revelation, called you a god. It is high time you exercised your authority over evil altars and put an end to their operations in your life and destiny.

You have victory in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: I put a total end to all altar-sponsored afflictions in my life in Jesus' name.

The ministry of altars 3

“When the Philistines took the ark of God, they brought it into the house of Dagon, and set it by Dagon. And when they of Ashdod arose early on the morrow, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the earth before the ark of the Lord. And they took Dagon, and set him in his place again.” 1 Samuel 5:2-3

Much has been said about what befell Dagon when the Ark of God was brought into its house. What of the commotion in its house? This is the issue of conflicting altars in the body of a man. And if a demon is staying to cohabit in a man's body, then you see the kinds of behaviors that are observed in Christians who are not fully dedicated to Jesus Christ. The issue of conflicting altars is the reason behind the timidity and worldliness in the church.

“And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 16:16-17

“Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee. But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.” Matthew 16:22-23

The issue of conflicting altars is also the reason behind the mysterious battles that many good Christians face. Before Peter was filled with the Holy Ghost, he was both an altar of God and of Satan at the same time. He was a voice for God and in the next moment, Satan took him over. The answer to this confusion is the fullness of the Holy Ghost. Peter became a changed person when he was filled with the Holy Ghost.

May you be full of the Holy Ghost in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Holy Ghost, overshadow my life in Jesus' name.

The ministry of altars 2

“And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying:  The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation.” Acts 16:16-17

Every altar has a voice; however, you should not confuse the sound with the voice. The sound does not authenticate the voice, it is the voice that authenticates the sound. The damsel in our text was an altar of a demon; the sound she was producing was correct, but the voice was that of an evil altar. Paul dealt with the voice, and the altar was finished. I decree that every altar, speaking against you shall speak no more in Jesus' name.

“And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.” Acts 16:18

“But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.” Luke 11:20

When Paul was dealing with the damsel, he was the altar of God. It was a situation of the altar against altar. If you are possessed by the Holy Ghost, it is your business to silence the voice of the evil altar, no matter the sound they are producing. You must uproot the satanic altars and establish the altar of God.

Every altar standing against you is subdued before you in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: I silence every evil altar, speaking against me in Jesus' name.

The ministry of altars 1

“A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.” Ezekiel 36:26-27

In the next few days, I will be sharing with you about the ministry of altars. The aim is for you to understand modern-day altars so that you can defeat altar-sponsored afflictions in your life. Altars primarily represent a point of contact between celestial and terrestrial beings. Altars engage spiritual beings in matters of the earth. Physical altars are prepared to the revealed specifications of the personalities they are meant to serve. However, you need to know that some people have become "altar-personalities" for the devil, just as you must be an "altar-personality" for God.

“And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.” 2 Corinthians 6:16

“Judah was his sanctuary, and Israel his dominion.” Psalms 114:2

God’s strategy for this end time is that each of us should be His altar. Devil has copied that, and so there are people walking about who are altars of the devil. You must be a strong altar for God by allowing His Holy Spirit and His Word to possess you.

You are God’s altar in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: I declare that I am God’s sanctuary and God’s dominion in Jesus name.

Be persistent in prayers

“And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?” Luke 18:7-8

Persistency is evidence of the winning faith. If you believe God for it, don’t stop mentioning it in your prayers until you receive it. The persistent widow said the same thing until she got the answer, “Grant me justice against my adversary.” Jesus said that was faith! Bartimaeus shouted, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Jesus said to him, “Your faith has healed you.” Jacob said from midnight until daybreak, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.” The Angel said to him, “Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel, because you have struggled with God and with humans and have overcome.”

"And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.” Matthew 11:12

“And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.” Genesis 32:26

Be persistent in your prayers; pray through to break through. Be persistent in the actions you are taking towards going beyond the limit. Don’t give up. If you have faith, you will say it until you receive it. You will stay on one prayer point for hours and not be weary, until you have answers. Jesus said if you are persistent, you are demonstrating faith.

I see you have a breakthrough testimony this week in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: I receive grace to be persistent in my prayers until I get results in Jesus name.

Exercise your faith 4

“When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.” Mark 5:27-28(KJV)

Faith is exercised by acting on what you believe. Faith will always make you do something toward the fulfillment of your desire. Doubt, on the other hand, will tell you that it may not work and consequently make you do nothing toward your desire. Your faith is visible. It can be seen in the action you take. Faith will make you do what others will not do. Your faith will single you out for uncommon results and manifestations.

“When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.” Mark 2:5KJV

“Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.” James 2:17-18KJV

Faith is not cautious. Faith is extreme. Faith is most often abnormal, but supernatural reasoning. Faith makes you do something because you are either hearing what others are not hearing or you are seeing what others are not seeing.  Think about people who broke the roof to put their friend before Jesus. They were not thinking that it may not work at all. The three Hebrews did not even mind being thrown into the fire. If you claim to have faith, be prepared to do what a multitude of people would not do.

May you hear God and believe Him in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God give a measure of faith that will sustain my life and destiny in Jesus name.

Exercise your faith 3

“Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.” 1 kings 17:9 (KJV)

Faith is exercised through giving. You know faith can change a “death” situation into a “life” situation, like it did for the widow of Zarephat and her son. God told her to feed His prophet despite the fact that she had been left with her last meal. She was going to eat the last meal and die with her son, but the situation changed when she obeyed God. Some seeds are like “Jonah” in the lives of some people; the storm they are praying against will not stop until they release their “Jonah.”

“So they took up Jonah, and cast him forth into the sea: and the sea ceased from her raging.” Jonah 1:15KJV

“There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty. The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.” Proverb 11:24-25KJV

Similarly, there are certain breakthroughs you cannot experience until you release your “Isaac” (Genesis 22:16–18). Faith giving is sacrificial giving. Faith giving is covenant giving. You can never give based on God’s instruction and remain the same. God loves a cheerful giver just as He is pleased by an act of faith.

May you not keep what you are supposed to release for your breakthrough in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God give the grace to hear you and to obey in Jesus' name.

Exercise your faith 2

“But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.” James 1:6 (KJV)

Faith is exercised through prayer; this is what I call faith-prayer or prayer of faith. In actual fact, the prayer of faith can never fail to produce results. When you pray in faith you don’t give up until you receive an answer because you are convinced about your request based on the word of God. The Bible actually directs us to the prayer of Elijah for us to understand how to exercise our faith in prayer. I believe our requests are just a faith-prayer away.

“Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.” James 5:17-18KJV

“So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees, And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, There is nothing. And he said, Go again seven times.” 1 Kings 18:42-43KJV

Be prepared to stay through in prayer on the promises you have received from God. Satan is trying to hinder you. However, if you have faith, you will not give up. I ask God to help your unbelief and give you faith to pray and get results. You can engage the ministry of the Holy Spirit when you are weak in faith (Romans 8:26).

Your faith is working in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: I receive answers to all my prayer requests in Jesus name.

Exercise your faith 1

“Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.” Job 22:28 (KJV)

If you have hope for something and you believe God for it, then decree it. Decree it until you have it. A child was rushed to our church some years ago. As I touched the child to pray for him, I discovered he was dead. I wanted to withdraw my hand to say, “But this child is dead,” then I heard God. God said to me, “Won’t you pray.” Then I started to decree that the spirit of the boy should return into him. I don’t know how long I said it, but suddenly, the temperature of the boy rose, he defecated, and he came back to life.

“We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;” 2 Corinthians 4:13KJV

“Then spake Joshua to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon. And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.” Joshua 10:12-13KJV

You know what, if you are not saying it, you don’t really have faith for it. If you are tired of saying it when it has not happened, then your faith is weak. Never consider the impossibility of your situation; trust God, with whom all things are possible, and decree a thing in the name of Jesus.

You will have your testimony in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: I call my expectation into manifestation in Jesus name.

Give your hope power

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1 (KJV)

Give your hope the power to get results by activating your faith. Faith causes you to go for the things you hope for. The good news is that you have a measure of faith. Faith itself is an evidence that you have heard God about the things you hope for. Hope deferred can make the heart sick, and only faith can put an end to the delay. You must ask God to speak specifically to you about the things you hope for. You must believe and act on God’s word to receive your expectations.

“Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.” Proverbs 13:12KJV

“(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.” Romans 4KJV

Who else can be an example of what I am saying except Abraham. He was hopeful despite the fact that his situation looked hopeless. However, he did not stop at that; he started calling those things that were not as though they were. He activated his faith. He was calling himself the father of many nations. Eventually, what he was hoping for became a reality.

May your heart desires come to pass in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let my hope become a reality in Jesus name.

Put your hope in God

“Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.” Psalms 42:5 (KJV)

Hope is a feeling of expectation and desire for a particular thing to happen. Hope is a positive emotional power that positions you to behave "normal" when your situation is not normal. Without hope, faith cannot be put to work, although it is faith that will change the situation. Now when you put your hope in God, your expectation cannot be defeated. God can always be trusted at any time.

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Jeremiah 29:11KJV

“They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.” Psalms 34:5KJV

All situations and circumstances are subject to change. God is an unchangeable changer. If you have hope in God, you will look to Him. If you look to Him, He will send light to you in the midst of thick darkness, and you cannot be put to shame. Praise God, no matter what you are going through, as an evidence of your hope in Him, so that you are positioned to know what to do to change your situation.

Your hope will become a substance in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, give me hope where I have no hope in Jesus name.

Send your word, Oh God

“Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses. He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.” Psalms 107:19-20 (KJV)

The word of God heals. The word of God delivers. The word of God is medicine for the weary soul. The word of God is the answer to all troubles, distress, and confusion. My prayer for every soul in distress this morning is, "Oh God, send your word in Jesus' name." For those who have received a word, I decree a speedy fulfillment of the word in Jesus' name. The written word is powerful. One way to use the written word of God is to locate the right word from the Bible and pray the word. Psalms are powerful weapons when facing personal battles.

“Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the Lord; Thus saith the Lord, To morrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.” 2 Kings 7:1 (KJV)

“Then said the Lord unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.” Jeremiah 1:12KJV

For those in financial distress, God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. For those going through health affliction, God will restore health unto you and heal you of your wounds in Jesus name (Jeremiah 30:17). For those going through any form of attacks, do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever (Exodus 14:13).

Be blessed in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, anoint me and bless me, let Your word come to me in Jesus name.

Become restless!

“By your sword you shall live, And your brother you shall serve; But it shall come about when you become restless, That you will break his yoke from your neck.” Genesis 27:40(NIV)

Some degree of “restlessness” is needed to end a season of “hardship” and usher in a season of “rest.” In our text today, where NIV used "restless," the KJV used “dominion,” and the NLT used “decide to break free.” I have a word for you if you have faced a season of satanic attacks and you desire a change: You must decide to break free, become restless, and get dominion. This connotes becoming desperate, particularly for God’s visitation and empowerment. The good news is that dominion was restored to us at our redemption. However, are you desperate enough to enforce your dominion?

“Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:” Colossians 1:13-14 (KJV)

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7KJV

It did not take Esau too long to become restless; in fact, Jacob was still struggling when Esau had become mighty. The New Testament believers have dominion over the power of darkness, so we can deal with things when we decide to do so and become restless. This morning, I challenge you to become restless and deal with the activities of the enemy around you.

You have power over adversaries in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, give me the spirit of restlessness against uncomfortable situations to change them in Jesus name.

The wisdom of Daniel 3

““There is a man in thy kingdom, in whom is the spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of thy father light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, was found in him; whom the king Nebuchadnezzar thy father, the king, I say, thy father, made master of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers;” Daniel 5:11(KJV)

Light, understanding, and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, were found in Daniel because he had the spirit of the holy gods (I believe he had the Holy Spirit). Daniel was the New Testament believer in the Old Testament. He had the Holy Spirit and saw Jesus. We, the present-day believers, need to operate on the same level of light and beyond. Daniel excelled as an academic, a priest, and a politician at the same time. I believe we can be solutions to the world’s problems if we connect to the wisdom of God through the Holy Spirit.

“But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.  Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.” 1 Corinthians 1:24-25 (KJV)

“See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah: And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship” Exodus 31:2-3

We all need to be filled with the Holy Spirit, not only for spiritual reasons but also for secular reasons. No matter our secular work, we must operate in the wisdom of God through the power of the Holy Ghost. My counsel is that, no matter your physical efforts for personal development, tarry in God’s presence until you are filled with the Holy Spirit.

May you be filled with the wisdom of God in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, fill me with the Holy Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship in Jesus name.

The wisdom of Daniel 2

“Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink.” Daniel 1:12 (KJV)

Daniel was a man of conviction. He was convinced of God, and so he did not waver in his relationship with Him. He knew the food blessed by God would make him better, and so it did. He knew God could reveal secrets, and God did show him unfathomable things. He was convinced of fellowship with God as a source of wisdom and power, and he maintained it. Because of his convictions about God, he walked on earth as a god. The people of the world even testified to this (Daniel 5:11-12). He even went to Lion's den and came back alive.

“And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's meat.” Daniel 1:15 (KJV)

“And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.” 2 Corinthians 6:17-18

What is your conviction about Jesus Christ, the God became flesh? Are you shakeable by the opinions of men? Your conviction will determine your relationship with Him and consequently the fruit you will produce. If you are convinced about Jesus, you will draw close to Him, and consequent you will access the wisdom and power to live successfully in such a time like this.

May you be steadfast in your relationship with Jesus in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, I want all of you, give me Your wisdom and power in Jesus name.

Go beyond believing!

“Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.” James 2:19 (KJV)

It is not enough to believe in God, you must go beyond that and have a personal relationship with Jesus. The devils also believe. It is not enough to attend church, you must have a personal relationship with Jesus and be positively and productively involved. The devils also attend church. Believing in your heart and confessing with your mouth is the beginning of your relationship with Jesus. However, you must keep His commandments to maintain this relationship.

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Romans 10:9KJV

“Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.” John 15:14-15KJV

You know that some people believed in Jesus to the extent that they performed miracles in His name, and yet He did not know them. Matthew 7:22-23 says, “Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” Don’t just say you believe in Jesus, spend time with Him and act on His words.

May you be known by the Lord in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, have Your way in my life and let Your will be done in Jesus’ name.

Dare to offer yourself!

“There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?” John 6:9(KJV)

This morning I will like to share with you the mystery of doing more than you are capable of doing. This mystery is “offering yourself” to Jesus. The boy in our text gave his lunch of five loaves and two small fishes to Jesus. This could barely satisfy the young boy. However, when the food got into the hands of Jesus, it fed thousands of people, and there were twelve baskets full of leftovers. If you truly offer your life to Jesus, your life will be a wonder and a blessing to many.

“When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost. Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten.” John 6:12-13KJV

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:1-2KJV

The truth is that you cannot offer yourself to Jesus and still insist on your own will. Your total desire will be to do the will of God. Your strength will be drawn from access into the mystery of His word and the fullness of the Holy Spirit. So you will prioritize your fellowship with Him and walk in obedience to Him. This is the foundation of a successful Christian life.

May your life be a wonder to many in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, I offer myself as a living sacrifice unto You, do whatever you want with my life in Jesus’ name.

Thanksgiving

“Jesus took the bread, gave thanks to God, and distributed it to the people who were sitting there. He did the same with the fish, and they all had as much as they wanted.” John 6:11(GNB)

Thanksgiving gives you access to the presence of God. You cannot meet with God and remain the same. Thanksgiving is the key to multiplying the blessings. Even if you think what you have is so little, give thanks to God. Jesus wanted to feed thousands of people, but he had only five loaves and two fish, which obviously were not enough. He took what was available and gave thanks; when the little was then distributed, it was more than enough.

“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.” Psalm 100:4KJV

“Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High: And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.” Psalm 50:14-15KJV

Beloved, no matter your situation, have thanksgiving as both an attitude and an action. God says if you give Him thanks and pay your vow, you will call upon Him and He will deliver you. Even if you think you don’t have any reason to give thanks, be grateful for the gift of life. Come into the presence of the Lord with singing, dancing, and a thanksgiving offering. Thanksgiving precedes deliverance.

May you have a beautiful song in your heart and in your mouth in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, I bless Your name and give thanks to You for the month of March. I believe and I receive the fulfilment of promises and positive prophecies this month in Jesus’ name.
