“Unto Adam also and to his wife
did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.” Gen 3:21.
Sin brings nakedness. Sin causes
loss of glory. Sin brings reproach. The solution to sin is the death and
resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus was slain to provide a covering for the
nakedness of man and to restore the glory of God.
Now this truth has not changed.
Modernity or civilization cannot change it. The emergence of new religions
cannot change it. It becomes the responsibility of all Christians to tell the
world this good news. We must do all within our God given power for the world
to have the Gospel.
“For I am not ashamed of the
gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that
believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” Romans 1:16
“But as many as received him, to
them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his
name:” John 1:12
Beloved, should that employee in
your office or the neighbor of yours die in sin, the person is doomed forever.
But if you tell him about the Gospel and he receives it, he will be saved.
I ask that passion for souls be
revived in the heart of every Christian in Jesus name.
Prayer
for today: Oh God baptize me with passion for soul winning in Jesus
name.
