“Therefore
the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies, but turned their
backs before their enemies, because they were accursed: neither will I be with
you any more, except ye destroy the accursed from among you.” Joshua 7:12
God is not an author of failure. Failure is not your portion.
God’s presence in your life shall cause the death of the spirit of failure. If
there be anything that attracts the spirit of failure, deal with it. Deal with
laziness, distraction, ignorance, unforgiveness , sin not repented of, unbelief
and fear.
In our test this morning, the children of Israel attracted
failure into their midst by allowing accursed things. God said He would not be
with them except they destroy the accursed things. What is that thing that is
resisting God in your life? Put them away. The presence of God in your life
will terminate the works of the devil and give you victory over failure.
“There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he
kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I
do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” Genesis 39:9
“Neither give place to the devil.” Ephesians 4:27
May the presence of God not depart from you in Jesus name.
Prayer
for today: Oh God let your presence overshadow my life and let the
yoke of failure be destroyed in Jesus name.
