Destiny sustenance

“Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?” Galatians 3:3
“For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.” Roman 8:6

Our destiny is spiritual. Our calling is spiritual. The greatest things to have happened to us is that we received Christ into our lives. That is spiritual but has implications in the physical. By that experience, we are separated from curses and connected to blessings. We are separated from death and connected to life. Our lives received a new beginning in the spirit. Such a life can only be sustained by the spirit; it can never be perfected by the flesh. The Spirit mindedness brings life and peace but carnal mindedness brings death.

Beloved, you will have to handle your life based on the word of God and not the dictate of the flesh if you want to sustain your destiny. I believe strongly that the kingdom of God begins in our lives when we became born again (1 Peter 2:9-10). But we miss God when we choose to handle the situations in our lives particularly our relationships with a hardness of heart.

“Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.” Galatians 5:19-21

Beloved, may you be guided by the word of God. May your destiny be made perfect in God in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, correct me if I have slipped into the flesh and its ways, let us your Spirit dominate my life in Jesus name.
