Dealing with hindrances to prayer 4

 “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.” Psalm 100:4

 Stop praying from outside the gate, be grateful. If you think there is nothing to be grateful for, at least, be grateful for the gift of life. Gratitude is your key to a breakthrough in prayer. Thanksgiving gives you access to the gate of God, while praise will take you into His court. Worship takes you straight into His presence. Devil cannot hinder the prayer of those who come with thanksgiving, praise, and worship.

 “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” Philippians 4:6

 “Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;” Psalm 149:5-6

 Even if you don’t feel so please be grateful to God.  Paul and Silas were in chains, they have been beaten. They were in pain, but they prayed and praised God. As a result, God showed up, broke their chains, and destroyed the prison doors. See also 2 Chronicles 20:22.  Some of us need to give concrete time to worship God in order to experience answers to prayers and a change of level.

 I see praise flowing out of your heart unto God in Jesus name.

Dealing with hindrances to prayer 3

 “But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.” James 1:6-7(NIV)

 Never allow doubt in your heart if you don’t want your prayer to be hindered. The fact that your head cannot calculate does not mean that your heart should doubt it. God loves to be believed and hates to be doubted. If you are getting answers to your prayers, your life will be progressive. If you have problem believing God, spend time in the word and in prayer and fasting.

 “And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?” Matthew 14:31 (KJV)

 “And, behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season.” Luke 1:20

 You know what? Even when you are feeling doubtful in your head, keep on praying about the issue. Pray on it day and night. God sees it as an act of faith if you are persistent and consistent in prayer. Never express your doubt in your speaking. This is because a doubt in your head does not equal a doubt in your heart until you expressed it by speaking.

 I see faith replacing doubt in your heart in Jesus name.

Dealing with hindrances to prayer 2

 “For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.t.” Matthew 6:14-15

Please deal with un-forgiveness in your heart if you don’t want your prayer to be hindered. If anyone has sinned against you, forgive the person so that your prayer is not hindered. You are blessed when your sins are forgiven. You enjoy answers to your prayers. However, God will not forgive you if you have not forgiven those who offended you. Please release whosoever has sinned against you in your heart.

“Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.” Psalm 32:1

 “Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.” Matthew 18:21-22

God did not give any room for un-forgiveness in our lives. His word teaches that no amount of sin is beyond receiving forgiveness. No one can receive offense from one an 490 times in a day. Yet God says you are only free not to release somebody if he has offended you 491 ties in a day. Well, the blessings of forgiving are far beyond the pains, emotional sickness, and spiritual limitations that un-forgiveness brings.

 The grace to forgive others is released to you, your prayers shall no longer be hindered in Jesus name.

 Prayer for today: Oh God, help me to release anyone I am holding in my heart and let me receive the blessings you have for me in Jesus name.

Dealing with hindrances to prayer 1

“Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.  And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.” 1 John 3:21-22

Please deal with condemnation in your heart if you don’t want your prayer to be hindered. The accuser is always looking for something against you. Condemnation breaks your confidence. If you have any sin in your life, repent and apply the blood of Jesus. Then believe that your sin is forgiven and approach God with confidence. Never allow unrepentance in your life, and when you repent, leave the sin alone.

“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” Romans 8:1

 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9

If you are struggling with any sin, ask God to break its hold over your life. You can get an agreement with your spouse or Pastor or a spiritual mentor or friend.  But, please never carry condemnation in your life. David said in Psalm 66:18-19, “If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me: But verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer.” Trust the finished work of Christ on the cross and the efficacy of the blood to cleanse from sin and to give a new life.

 Your sins are forgiven and your prayers are answered in Jesus name.

3 things that great Christians do!

 “Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.” Psalm 50:5

 You cannot become great unless you have been assisted. You can be assisted by either the kingdom of God or the kingdom of darkness. None can assist you without sacrifice. However, true greatness cannot be obtained from the kingdom of darkness. As a Christian, you must enjoy the backing of God. However, you need to understand that only your salvation is free, every other need pressing in. Great Christians wait on God as a lifestyle, obey God at all costs, and have sacrificed themselves to him through dedication and total commitment.

 “Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” Philippians 2:12

 “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.” Matthew 11:12

Now does greatness mean being known all over the word? No. Greatness in Christianity is achieving results commensurate with the measure of grace and faith God has given you. Please, don’t fail to be who God wants you to be. If you are still at the level of saying that why should you give to the work of God, why are you praying so much, why are you serving in the church are you a pastor,  the pastor is doing his own work,  then you have limited your greatness in God's kingdom. 

You shall be great in life and destiny in Jesus name.

Go for the word

 "The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.” Psalm 119:130

The word is a carrier of light and wisdom. This is the solution to all struggles, stagnancy, and challenges of life. It does not matter what is confronting you, you only need to know what to do. This is why the word is the answer you are looking for. Our problems are not the same, but our solution is the same, the Word. The word brings healing, deliverance, breakthrough, success, and miracle. Ask God for the word that you need.

 “He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant:  Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron:  Until the time that his word came: the word of the Lord tried him.” Psalm 105:17-19

 “He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.” Psalm 107:20

Whenever your word arrives, your trouble expires. Jesus Himself, is the Word of God. He is the wisdom and the power of God. The Word does not only save. He delivers also from all troubles. The Word is the key to your destiny. The word terminated the siege in Samaria. The word ended the failure of Peter. The word ended the chain of Joseph. I decree that your troubles are over in Jesus name.

May the word of the Lord come to you in Jesus name.

Your own is possible

  “Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?” Luke 1:34

Yes, your miracle is possible. Your deliverance is possible. Your change is possible. Your breakthrough is possible. Stop asking the question how can this be? This is because you don’t need to know a man you only need to know your God. The power of the Holy Ghost shall overshadow you and your miracle shall be delivered. You also need to believe in God for your miracle.

“For with God nothing shall be impossible.” Luke 1:37

 “Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.” Mark 11:23

 The impossible happens for all that believe in the God of possibilities. Look at it this way, can the God who made a way in the red sea not capable of making the way for you where there is no way? Can He who made a virgin pregnant without a man not be able to do all things? In our contemporary times, God has done marvelous things that we have no excuse not to believe Him for our miracles. It is an error to doubt God, it is a breakthrough to believe Him.

Your miracle shall happen this week in Jesus name.

Connect to the Spirit of Faith

  “We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;” 2 Corinthians 4:13

Are you feeling weak or inadequate? Are you feeling as if you have failed and you don’t know what to do? I have good news for you, connect to the Spirit of faith and your story shall change. This was the Spirit that was in Caleb that made him believe God for the promised land.  This was the Spirit that entered David, brought him out of obscurity, and gave him the boldness to face Goliath. This is the Spirit that possessed all overcomers and winners in life and in destiny (1John 5:4).

“But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it.” Numbers 14:24

 “Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.” 1 Samuel 16:13

 The Spirit of faith is what you receive when you have an encounter with God. The Spirit of faith works by believing God’s word and declaring it. You can receive the Spirit of faith by getting anointed. You can receive the Spirit of faith through fasting and prayer. You can receive the Spirit of faith by meditating on God’s word. You can also receive the Spirit by walking with people who have the Spirit of faith. No matter what you are going through ask God to give the Spirit of faith.

Alternative to God?

  “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” Proverbs 14:12

It is either God or nothing; this is the attitude that wins with God. If your mind is set on an alternative, you will lack the drive to press through with God. Never seek an alternative to God, it leads to destruction. God is kind and loving, every good and perfect gift is from Him. If He gives it to you, no sorrow will come with it. God can never be late, He will show up at the right time. Many have taken the alternative route and it has not profited them but only brought regrets.

 “But the angel of the Lord said to Elijah the Tishbite, Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say unto them, Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that ye go to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron?” 2 Kings 1:3

 “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” Genesis 32:26

Seek the God of Israel with your whole heart and you will find Him. Be consistent and persistent. Do not seek an alternative god. God is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. He put you here and He is not expecting you to make it happen on your own. Moreover, He is a miracle-working and a covenant-keeping God.

 I see God bringing it to you quickly in Jesus name.

Let your faith say yes!

  “And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?” Luke 18:7

If your faith says yes, God will never say no. The question of how to make your faith say yes is answered by the Lord in the story of the persistent widow. Cry unto God day and night, and don’t stop until you have an answer. Jesus said such is a faith that cannot be turned down. Stop listening to people who say to you that you are praying too much when you do not have what you are looking for.

 “But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.” Luke 1:13

 “And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.” Genesis 32:26

The truth is that God counts it as faith if you pray about it despite the fact that you are doubting it in your head. It may not look as if you will get a miracle, but if you continue in prayer, you will surely get your breakthrough. I don’t care to know your age, but I care to tell you that you can still get married and get your own children. Your financial situation can still turnaround. Be persistent, do not give up in prayer, it is an indication of a yes faith that cannot be turned down.

Your testimony is now in Jesus name.

Follow the Lord wholly

  “But because my servant Caleb has a different spirit and follows me wholeheartedly, I will bring him into the land he went to, and his descendants will inherit it.” Numbers 14:24 (NIV)

Who you follow in this dark world matters and how you follow. If you follow the Lord wholeheartedly, you cannot fail or be defeated no matter what comes against you. He is the light in this dark world (John 9:5). You will have to deny yourself, carry your cross, and follow him (Matthew 16:24). Caleb got his portion in the Promised Land and even secured it for his descendants because he followed the Lord wholly. This happened despite the giants and the obstacles.

 “And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Matthew 4:19

 “And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.;” Luke 10:41-42

You probably have so many cares and limitations right now. You want to get married, promoted, or experience a financial breakthrough. You know deep down within you that you are not where you are supposed to be. All you need to do is to seek the Lord and whole-heartedly follow Him. Then, you will no longer be catching fish, you will be catching men. Your life shall change like it did Paul, who was not disobedient to the heavenly vision but followed the Lord with the whole of his heart (Acts 26:19).

I see your situation changing as you wholeheartedly follow the Lord in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, put Your Spirit in me and let me whole-heartedly follow You in Jesus name.

Stay on God’s right hand

 “Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” Psalm 16:11

To stay on the right hand of God is to walk in the path He has shown you. This is to love His word and to walk according to His word. Beloved, I don’t know what you are going through right now, but I know the path of victory. Ask for God’s light and dwell there. Do whatever He tells you no matter what you are facing. You cannot miss it in that position, the pleasure of God is there, His blessings are there and He fights for you there. His right hand does valiantly.

“The right hand of the Lord is exalted: the right hand of the Lord doeth valiantly.” Psalm 118:16

 “Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father;” Daniel 6:3

Do you know why Isaac did not have to worry about the famine or the aggression of the Philistines? Because he was standing and dwelling on the right side of God. He had light from God and he walked in it. He was actually so blessed during the famine ha he became a point of attraction to the natives. You may think you are in a sort of trouble right now, but that is no the truth. The truth is that either you need light from God or you have light from Him that you are no walking in.  Please seek God’s light and stay there, then you will enjoy the benefits of His right hand.

May the right hand of God back you up in Jesus name.

There will always be giant

 “Nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled, and very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak there.” Number 13:28

Ten of the spies sent to Canaan said they could not take the land because there were giants there. You are probably blaming those spies, but are you not doing the same? There is no profession or business you want to enter that there is no giant already. Are you not afraid to take what God has given you because you think the existing players are too big for you? A Pastor was sharing with me about a Christian businessman who got a big contract in a Nation because he believed God and he believed in the Spirit of excellence. Giant companies came to bid for the same contract, but he beat them to it.

 “And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone, and slang it, and smote the Philistine in his forehead, that the stone sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon his face to the earth.” 1 Samuel 17:49

 ““Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.” Daniel 6:3

 There will always be giants in the promised land, but you can subdue the giants and take the land. Believe God and develop yourself. Walk in the Spirit of excellence. If God has given it to you, don’t be afraid to take it. Do your part, God will surely do His part and will not fail you.  

Beloved, get ready, God is about to do great things through you.

The gift and the people

 “Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.” John 4:10t

If you desire a lifting you must know the gift that God placed in you and the people He has placed around you. You probably think that others are gifted than you. The truth is that God has put within you the gift you need for your life and destiny. You must know the gift and make use of it. Secondly, you must know the right people that will give your gift an expression. Beloved, there are people around you that will help you, don’t hide your gift from them.

 “But think on me when it shall be well with thee, and shew kindness, I pray thee, unto me, and make mention of me unto Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house:” Genesis 40:14

 “Then answered one of the servants, and said, Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, that is cunning in playing, and a mighty valiant man, and a man of war, and prudent in matters, and a comely person, and the Lord is with him.” 1 Samuel 16:18

For Joseph, he spoke personally to the person that brought him to Pharaoh. David did not even know the servant that introduced him to Saul. The truth is that both of them used their gifts and the people that matter became aware. Moreover, when it was necessary for them to be recommended there was no issue. Beloved, use your gift and if it is necessary to talk to somebody please do

May the right people be aware of your gift in Jesus name. May you experience speedy promotion in Jesus name

Helpers for your destiny 3

 “And it came to pass, that when they had made an end of eating the grass of the land, then I said, O Lord God, forgive, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small.” Amos 7:2

We are in a people’s world. Spirits are not permitted here but they operate using human beings. Every man needs another man to bless him, lift him and help him to fulfill destiny. God will even use men to bless you and to do whatever He wants to do in your life. If you don’t have the right man, you may be stranded until one comes. Your greatest strength in life and destiny is your ability to attract and keep the right people in your life. May you not lack destiny helpers in your life in Jesus name.

“When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? The impotent man answered him, Sir; I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.” John 5:6-7

 “And a certain man found him, and, behold, he was wandering in the field: and the man asked him, saying, What seekest thou?” Genesis 37:15

One of the manifestations of God’s mercy in your life is the gift of men. Can you imagine the life of Joseph without the Chief Butler? Can you imagine the life of David without Samuel? Can you imagine the ministry of Jesus without the women that brought provisions (Luke 8:2-3)? Beloved, there are men like Angels that when they come into your life, your life can never be the same again. May such men locate you today in Jesus name.

May the people you need in your life come to you in Jesus name.

Helpers for your destiny 2

 “But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?” Hebrews 1:13-14

As a believer in Christ, you are an heir of salvation. You have been assigned the ministry of the Angels to help you in life and destiny. Angels have been assigned to guide you, protect you, watch over you, bring provision to you, fight for you and deliver you. Be convinced that Angels are real and ask for their ministries in your life and for your destiny.

“For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.” Psalm 91:11

 “And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.” Acts 12:7

 Part of the new testament ministry to believers is the ministry of the Angels. Peter was delivered from the prison where Herod kept him by the ministry of an Angel. In like manner, it was the Angel of the Lord, who announced deliverance to Paul in Act 27. The ministry of the Angel is real today for every believer in Christ.

May you experience Angelic visitation and help regularly in Jesus name.

Helpers for your destiny 1

 “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.” John 14:16-17

As a believer in Christ, you are not left alone to face destiny challenges. You have a comforter and a helper called the Holy Spirit. The greatest needs of your destiny journey are encouragement, direction, and power. The Holy Spirit is there for you to give you all these. He lives in you and He is with you.

 “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Acts 1:8

 “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” John 14:26

 Beloved, you must know the Holy Spirit and give Him room in your life. This is your advantage in the world and over unbelievers. Perhaps, you are confused right now and you don’t know what to do. Ask the Holy Spirit to help and guide you. You will surely find direction and the help you need.

 I see you having a breakthrough in destiny as you yield to the ministry of the Holy Spirit in Jesus name.

Forces for your destiny 3

 “And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13 (NKJV)

Another force for your destiny is the force of love. Where there is love, faith and hope will be in operation. Where love exists, God exists. Where love exists, passion exists. Where love exists, enough power can be generated to change things and fulfill destiny. You must love the life God gave you and the God that gave it to you, if you want power for your destiny.

“You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.” Hebrews 1:7 (NKJV)

 “Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” Matthew 22:37-40(KJV)

Destiny failure is relationship failure. First relationship with God and then relationship with the people God has planted around you. Love is the key to averting relationship failure. To love the law of the Lord is to hate lawlessness and to position yourself for the anointing to fulfill your destiny. To walk in love is to fulfill what God requires of you.

 May the love of God be shed abroad in your heart in Jesus name.

Forces for your destiny 2

 “The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed,” Acts 14:9

Another force for your destiny is the force of faith. There is a faith that will lift your destiny, no matter how low you are. When this faith is in place, you can never fail. When this faith is in place, you must surely recover. This faith is developed by hearing God’s word. The man in our text was crippled, but after hearing Paul, he developed a faith to be healed. May you develop faith for your destiny in Jesus name.

 “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17

 “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” 1 John 5:4

 The force of faith gives substance to the force of hope. If you are really hopeful about your destiny, go to God for the faith that you need to make your hope a reality. Faith begins by hearing God. Give time to meditate on the word of God for your destiny. Spend time in fasting and prayer to develop the faith you need to turn your destiny around (Matthew 17:21).

 I see you experiencing a breakthrough in destiny.

Forces for your destiny 1

 “God, pick up the pieces. Put me back together again. You are my praise!” Jeremiah 17:14 (MSG)

The first force for your destiny is the force of hope. Never give up hope concerning your destiny. It does not matter how broken you are, God shall put your pieces together and put you where you are supposed to be. The enemy can never have the last laugh over your life if you do not lose hope. I decree restoration of hope in your life in Jesus name.

“For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.” Job 14:7(KJV)

 “For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion.” Ecclesiastes 9:4(KJV)

You cannot be connected to God and be hopeless. If you can say to God, help me and change my story, there is hope for you. God gives life and restoration. Let God breathe on your hopeless situation and bring life to it in Jesus name. I see you getting a new and better source of income. I see you being celebrated where you have been rejected in Jesus name.

Your body is a house!

 “Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.” Matthew 12:44

Your body is the house for your spirit and your soul. However, other spirits are interested in that house too. The Spirit of God wants to make your body His habitation so also demon spirits. You have to decide whom you would give your body.  This is the mystery behind prolonged bondage and the secret of total deliverance. Declare no vacancy for devil, and that your body is the house of the Holy Spirit

 “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?” 1 Corinthians 6:19

 “Neither give place to the devil.” Ephesians 4:27

 When some people do or say something, you know it is not them. There are pigs in their parlor; they have allowed a strange tenant in their house. Beloved, someone is using you, let it be God. You must know that demons prefer the bodies of human beings to that of animals and other things. Whenever you willfully disobey God, you open your house to the enemy.

 May you be God’s habitation in Jesus name. Your week is blessed in Jesus name.

Be determined in prayer

“And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou son of David, have mercy on me.” Mark 10:48

 Determination in prayer is a product of trust, confidence, and faith in God. The reward is the answer and supernatural manifestations. Bartimaus knew Jesus could answer his prayers and do something about his situation, so he was determined. He could not be stopped, not even the charge of the crowd. I have an encouragement for someone who has stopped praying on a particular issue because the answer has not come. Pick the prayer up again, God shall answer you in Jesus name. Be determined this time and don’t give up.

 “So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees, And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, There is nothing. And he said, Go again seven times.” 1 kings 18:42-43

 “But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.” Zechariah 1:13

 People who get answers to their prayers are always determined. Even Elijah had to be determined in prayer to get the rain to come. Don’t give up if it seems you have not received an answer. Be determined and stay until you get an answer. I have a word for you, the same God who answered Zechariah shall answer you right now in Jesus name.

 Prayer for today: Oh God, answer me and let me become a wonder to my generation in Jesus name.

When the flesh is weak

 “Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Matthew 26:41

 One of the most important things you will need to do for your destiny is to pray through. You will surely experience the weakness of the flesh as you make progress towards your breakthrough. Learn to engage the Holy Spirit. When your flesh is weak, activate your spirit man through the power of the Holy Spirit. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you to get through.

“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” Romans 8:28

 “Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;” Ephesians 6:18

 Use the prayer language giving to you by the Holy Spirit. Consciously invite the Holy Spirit to do the prayer for you and through you. This is very important for you to have this breakthrough in order to move your life forward as a Christian. You cannot continue to live below God’s design for your life. This must be done until you hear God and begin to walk in His plan for your life.

 You shall manifest this year in Jesus name.

 Prayer for today: Oh God, deliver me from my infirmities and the limitation of my flesh in Jesus name.

Only a call away!!

 “And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.” Psalm 50:15

 If you know how to call upon God, you will always have deliverance from all your troubles. Your deliverance is only a call away, no matter how big the trouble is. God is committed to His word. Now if you believe that, you will stay in the call until you receive deliverance according to His word. Most people give up quickly and miss God and His power. Learn to wait in the call until what He says happened.

 “If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.” Job 14:14

 “And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?” Luke 18:7

 Your deliverance is in believing the word. If you have trouble with the provision or any form of lack, seek the Lord (Psalm 34:10). If you feel limited or incapable, wait upon the Lord (Isaiah 40:31). If you are stagnant or lack direction, ask Him to teach you and lead you (Isaiah 48:17). Never keep quiet if you need God’s help. He will always answer you and deliver you

 Your deliverance shall manifest speedily in Jesus name.

Dealing with stubborn problems

 “And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.” Matthew 3:10

If you are dealing with a problem that refuses to go, you will have to find the root cause and deal with it. God is a good God, while the devil is a bad devil. Examine yourself and check if a room has been given to the enemy in your life. The enemy will want to always hide to cause havoc in the life of a man. Ask the Holy Spirit to expose the secret of any problem that is making prayer ineffective in your life

 “Neither give place to the devil.” Ephesians 4:27

 “Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.” John 14:30

Behind every stubborn problem are satan and his demons. You must find what is keeping him in your life and deal with it. Check any root of disobedience, check any root of idolatry, check any root of evil dedication and unknown commitment. The word of God is clear that if God did not plant it, then it can be dealt with.

Let the fire of the Holy Ghost consume whatever God has not planted in your life in Jesus name.

"Giving shape to your destiny”

Keep yourselves from idols

 “And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness…….Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.” 1 John 5:19-21

John’s first epistle ends with this noble instruction that we should keep ourselves from idols. In that particular chapter five, he spoke about the victory of our faith over the world, our guarantee of eternal life, and our confidence that God answers prayers. In the conclusion, he reassured us that we are of God, but the whole world lies in wickedness. He now gave us the key to overcoming the wickedness in the world, and that is to keep from every idol. Beloved, you cannot be overcome by the wickedness that is in this world if you keep yourself from idols.

“Israel hath sinned, and they have also transgressed my covenant which I commanded them: for they have even taken of the accursed thing, and have also stolen, and dissembled also, and they have put it even among their own stuff.” Joshua 7:11

 “Now Rachel had taken the images, and put them in the camel's furniture, and sat upon them. And Laban searched all the tent, but found them not.” Genesis 30:34

What is it that has become an idol and has taken the place of God in your life? Is it yourself? Is it something you keep in your home? Are you still in league with the idols that your fathers served? This is the secret behind any defeat that someone who claims to be a child of God suffers in this wicked world. For some, the idol is clear disobedience to God’s instruction. Consciously renounce every idol in your life today so that you can come into the fullness of God's grace and power for your life.

I see you triumphing in this wicked world in Jesus name.

Conquering the city gate 4

 “And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.” Acts 10:4

Add to your prayers, sacrificial giving, to conquer the gate of the city where you dwell. Be liberal towards men and towards God’s work. Sacrificial giving has the power to boost your prayer and enforce your breakthrough at your city gate. Actually, there are certain gates you would not be able to cross, if sacrificial giving is not involved.  Particularly if you are dealing with ancient gates that have been hindering you for a long time. Let your giving move God the same way that Cornelius and Abraham moved Him for you to conquer the gate of the city where you dwell.

“The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.” Proverbs 11:25

 “And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the Lord, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;” Genesis 22:16-17

Let God guide you in this matter, but let also your heart be willing. This may be the only thing that remains for you to have your breakthrough. If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land. Ask God to put in your heart and in your hands the seed for your breakthrough. Do not eat the seed, plant it for you to conquer your city gate.

I see the city gate opened for you as you engage in sacrificial giving in Jesus name.

Conquering the city gate 3

 “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:” Matthew 7:7

I decree that the gate of the city where you dwell shall open for you in Jesus name. Another key for you to get the gate open is by knocking in prayers until it opens. You cannot pray too much. Ask that any gate hindering you in the city be broken into pieces. The gates of financial rest, career rest, business rest, and sound health must open for you. Don’t give up in the place of prayer. Consistency and persistency are the golden rules of victory.

“But Peter continued knocking: and when they had opened the door, and saw him, they were astonished.” Acts 12:16

 “And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;” Luke 18:1

You would definitely need someone to open the gate for you. A destiny helper, someone who has the information, the connection, or the finances you need. If you keep knocking, the gate shall be opened for you. Just like they opened the door for Peter when he continued to knock. I decree that all barriers are broken in Jesus name.

Conquering the city gate 2

“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.” Proverbs 4:7

Wisdom is key to conquering the city gate. Common sense is not enough neither is your own wisdom enough, seek the wisdom of God. The wisdom of God is based on acting on the revelation given to you by God.  Ask God to reveal to you what you need to do to get the city gate opened. You cannot continue to do things the same way and expect different results. Peter failed on that faithful day despite the fact that there was a school of fishes in the water. Jesus gave him wisdom and his story changed. May God give you the wisdom you need today in Jesus name.

“And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.” Luke 5:5-6

 “The labour of the foolish wearieth every one of them, because he knoweth not how to go to the city.” Ecclesiastes 10:15

Beloved, you may be in the city where God has planted you and still struggle if you are operating in foolishness. Cease from your own wisdom and seek the wisdom of God. Let God teach you and guide you in the way you should go. This is your advantage as a Christian. Your Father knows the way, let Him show you. Spend time with God until you get direction from Him.

May God lead you into your breakthrough in Jesus name.

Conquering the city gate 1

“Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father;” Genesis 26:3

The fact that you are living in a city does not mean that the city gate has been opened to you. One evidence that the city gate has not opened is stressful profitless labor. It is important for you to be convinced that you are in the city where God has planted you for you to conquer the city gate. If you are convinced, ask that the gate be opened for your prosperity.

“And Solomon went to Hamathzobah, and prevailed against it.” 2 Chronicles 8:3

 “And he removed from thence, and digged another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it Rehoboth; and he said, For now the Lord hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.” Genesis 26:22

The enemy may strive with you in the city where God has planted you, but God will back you up. Never give up against the gate. Be persistent in your prayers and in your efforts until the city gate opens. Shut down the mouth of the enemy that wants you to return the way you came. Break the curse of failure over your life and ask for the blessing of increase and enlargement.

Evidence of Spiritual breakthrough

 “He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.” 1 Samuel 2:9

One of the pieces of evidence of spiritual breakthrough is restoration. Another evidence is victory in previously lost battles. Prevailing in life is more evidence of prevailing spiritual life than the physical weapons you may claim to possess. No man actually prevails by physical strength. As a believer, if you are struggling with any needed breakthrough in your life, please seek to prevail spiritually first. You may need to ask the Holy Spirit to guide you in this matter.

 “So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him; but there was no sword in the hand of David.” 1 Samuel 17:50

 “Therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies, but turned their backs before their enemies, because they were accursed: neither will I be with you any more, except ye destroy the accursed from among you.” Joshua 7:12

David killed Goliath who everyone, including Saul, ran from with a sling and a stone. This is evidence of a spiritual breakthrough. There was no way he could do that without God’s backing. Israel lost the battle against AI despite the fact that it was a small nation. This was because God was hindered from backing them. You may need to change your prayer and ask God to show you what you must do to experience your long-awaited breakthrough. Please press in until you get an answer.
