Wind of change

“And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee.” Mark 10:49

The wind of change means the power to bring the change your heart desires. If this wind blows on you, your situation can never remain the same. The wind is an encounter with Jesus Christ and His Holy Spirit. He is called the unchangeable changer. I am glad to announce to you that the wind is coming upon you right now, and every situation that has brought you sadness will turn to joy in the name of Jesus. Bartimeus had been a blind man sitting on the roadside to beg. When he became aware that Jesus was passing, he recognized the fact that the wind of change was blowing. He aggressively connected to the wind and experienced a change he had desired for many years.

“And when the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.” Exodus 3:4

“Count not thine handmaid for a daughter of Belial: for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief have I spoken hitherto. Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him.” 1 Samuel 1:16-17

The stories of Moses and Hannah are good examples of what I am talking about. Moses had given up on leading the people of Israel. He had become a shepherd of sheep and became comfortable with it until the wind of change blew on him. He had an encounter with God. Hannah's barrenness was over when she keyed into the wind by praying through.

May you encounter the wind of change this month in every area of my life in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, blow the wind of change over my situation right now in Jesus name.

Salvation: Lord Jesus, I believe in the forgiveness of sin and in the redemption from the power of darkness through your blood. I confess you as my Savior and Lord.  I invite you into my life to save my soul. Holy Spirit, come into my heart and make me what you want me to be. Thank you Lord for saving me in Jesus name.
