Faith in Jesus name

 “And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.” Acts 3:16KJV.

In my undergraduate days at “Great Ife,” we used to sing one powerful song in our fellowship. The song says, “Victory in Jesus' name, Power in Jesus' name, glory, Halleluiah, there is victory in Jesus’ name!” I am glad to announce to you that there is no situation the name of Jesus cannot turn around. There is victory for you in the name of Jesus. The lame man in Acts 3 has been like that from his mother's womb till he was a full-grown man. Yet when faith in the name of Jesus was activated, he started walking.

“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”  Philippians 2:9-11KJV

“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." Mark 16:17-18KJV

Faith in the name of Jesus is activated by speaking to the situation in this powerful name. It does not matter how long or how impossible the situation is, if you can speak to it in the name of Jesus, you will have a miracle. If you say it the first time and it does not happen, say it again. Declare it until you see it. The name always works wonders; the name cannot fail. Call in your breakthrough job in the name of Jesus. Kill the infirmity in your life in the name of Jesus. Kill debts and poverty in your life in the name of Jesus, Call into your life the peace of God that passes all understanding in the name of Jesus.

You have your victory, in Jesus' name.

My prayer for you

 “Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me. The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.” Psalm 138:7-8 KJV.

Today is the last day of the seventh month of the year 2023. A lot of things have happened in the last seven months, both good and bad. We need to stay positive in all situations. One way to stay positive is to receive encouragement and prayer from a Pastor. My prayers are with you, specifically this morning, that all will be well with you. Even if you are amid any challenge, the hand of the Lord shall lift you; He will subdue your enemies, and He will not forsake you.

“The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.”  Numbers 6:24-26 KJV

“And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding." Jeremiah 3:15 KJV

The next five months will be better than the last seven months of 2023. Look forward to divine intervention and miracles in every area of your life. Do not stop giving thanks daily, this is the will of God for you. When you speak, speak positively, speak the promise, bind the enemy, and loose the Angels. Stay excited, no matter what; God is working all things out for your good. Make sure you are doing something daily towards your goal, no matter how small.

 You will get to your promised land, in Jesus' name.

Define your routines…

 “Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.” Daniel 6:10 KJV.

When you define your routines, you have defined your life. There are certain actions that must be taken regularly in your life if you want to live a bold, successful, and prosperous life. These include praying, thinking, giving, reading, and speaking positively. Most people are afraid because they don’t know what to do in the situation in which they find themselves. But if you engage in these five activities as a regular routine, you will not only know what to do in any situation, but you will also be bold about the outcome and your future.

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”  Romans 10:17 KJV

“Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days. Give a portion to seven, and also to eight; for thou knowest not what evil shall be upon the earth. If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth: and if the tree fall toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falleth, there it shall be." Ecclesiastes 11:1-3 KJV

Praying gives sight to your spirit, just as thinking gives sight to your mind. Giving is your guarantee for a future harvest. Support the work of God and expect a miracle. A giver can never go down, no matter the situation. Reading is to the mind what meditation in the word of God is to your spirit and your soul.  Speaking positively is your power over every negative and contrary situation, and also your power to create good things in your life. All things are living and have the capacity to obey, including storms, mountains, and needed resources in life. Also, what you speak reveals what is in your heart.

Listen carefully!

 “So listen carefully, for whoever has will be given more, but whoever does not have, even what he thinks he has will be taken from him.” Luke 8:18 NET Bible.

Listening precedes hearing. Unfortunately, not everyone who listens hears. Yet everyone’s life depends on what he hears or does not hear. For example, if you can listen and hear the word of God, your life can never remain the same again, no matter who you are, where you are, or how you are. Faith is born when you hear the word of God. Fear is born when you hear the words of the enemy. If you listen to the word of God daily, your life will be fruitful and productive. Two people can be in the same place, listen to the same message, but hear different things. Only those who hear correctly will profit.

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”  Romans 10:17 KJV

“But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper." Psalms 1:2-3 KJV

You may have to listen to a message several times before you gain wisdom. If you find a message that you believe you need, don’t just listen to it once; listen to it repeatedly. Another thing is that there is a transfer of grace through listening. If there is a man of God who has the grace you desire, listen to him repeatedly, and then you can connect to the grace and even the anointing on him.

How to eat for spiritual strength!

 “And the angel of the Lord came again the second time, and touched him, and said, Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for thee. And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that meat forty days and forty nights unto Horeb the mount of God.” 1 Kings 19:7-8KJV.

A lot of Christians are lean spiritually, they are undernourished, so they lack the strength to confront adversity (Proverbs 24:10) and temptations (1 Cor 10:11–13). The two basic nourishments you need to survive anything in this world are the flesh and the blood of Jesus. Jesus said, my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. If you eat the flesh of Jesus and drink His blood daily, you will have the strength needed to conquer all things. His flesh is the word of God (John 1:14), and his blood is the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 5:18).

“For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.”  John 6:55KJV

“In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.  He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water." John 7:37-38KJV

Please allow me to be a little harsh this morning. You cannot make it as a Christian in this end time without this spiritual meal, the Word, and the Holy Spirit. Satan will do everything to keep you from eating. If he succeeds, he has captured you, no matter your activity. Some of us, when we are hungry for physical food, everyone around us will know: please be aggressively hungry for spiritual food. This is your lifeline.

May you be fed daily with spiritual nourishment, in Jesus' name.

You are in charge!

 “The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD's: But the earth hath he given to the children of men.” Psalm 115:16KJV.

Let nothing move you in this world. You should not be threatened by any situation in this world. But you must know your authority and use it. You cannot allow what you are in charge to take charge of you. You cannot allow what you have authority over to dominate you. God gave you the earth, and as a Christian, you have the authority to take charge.  Yes, what you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and what you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Don’t allow what you should be controlling to put you into depression.

“And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”  Matthew 16:19KJV

“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you." Luke 10:19 KJV

You will have to take charge of your world through your words. Practically speaking, you may have to speak many times before a situation changes, do what it takes. Although the more you prioritize your fellowship with God, the less time it takes for you to see the manifestation of what you say. Elijah locked the door of heaven over Israel, according to his word, because he had stayed long enough in God’s presence (1 Kings 17:1, John 15:7). Please take authority and kill the infirmity in your body and the poverty in your life, you are in charge!

You are in charge to take charge, in Jesus' name.

Mindset of winners

 “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:” Philippians 2:5 KJV.

The mindset of a winner is positive and believes in possibilities. This was the mindset of Jesus Christ. There were two loaves of bread and five fish. He asked thousands of people to sit down to eat. Some people wanted to throw Him over the cliff, He just walked through their midst. There was a storm against the ship where He was sleeping, He woke up and spoke to the storm. Some people wanted to trap Him with His words, but His answers could not be resisted. For Him, all things are possible for those who believe.

“Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.” Mark 9:23KJV

“Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus." Acts 4:131KJV

Your life reflects your mindset (Proverbs 23:7). To be successful, you must have a mindset of success. For a Christian, the starting point is to believe in your mind that God is with you. Whatever your mind can conceive is possible. To see things physically, you must first believe them in your mind. This is the mindset that turns things around. If you spend time with Jesus, you will develop this mindset and be a wonder to many.

Don't fight in the flesh!

 “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)." 2 Corinthians 10:3-4 KJV.

One of the things that is certain in this world is that you will always have a fight to engage in. However, you must fight from a winner's perspective; you must choose your fight and take the fight to your winning realm. As a believer, you must not fight in the flesh; you must fight in the spirit. Throwing punches, fighting with foul words, and plotting against people should not be your strategy. You must fight in the spirit. You must engage God to do the fighting so that you can just walk into the bounty of victory. Learn from the eagle who takes the battle with the snake into the air.

“Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the Lord will be with you.” 2 Chronicles 20:17KJV

“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:31KJV

If you draw your strength from the Lord and are an Eagle Christian, then the enemy has no chance. Engage in worship, speak the word, pray in the spirit, pray in the understanding, receive open eyes and ears, do what God tells you to do, and never give up. Satan himself does not stand a chance, not to mention his demons, if you engage in these.

Blessed assurance

 “And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest." Exodus 33:14 KJV.

What God has given us is an assurance, which is better than any insurance that any man or government can offer. You are covered. You can enjoy peace, rest and prosperity at any time, in any situation, and wherever God has planted you. He will be an enemy to your enemy, He will fight those who fight you, He will curse those who curse you, and He will bless those who bless you. The one who assured you has power over all forces, and He oversees both the terrestrial and the celestial.

“For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:  So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” Isaiah 55:10-11KJV

“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." John 6:63 KJV

The word of God is your cover, your assurance. You have to receive the word, believe the word, personalize the word, confess the word, and act upon the word. Nothing in this world can cross or stop the word of God. The word prevails in all situations and circumstances. God has given you His word as His child. Every situation will turn out for your good.

Peace in troubled times!

 “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me." John 14:1 KJV.

Do not let your heart be troubled. The evidence of God’s presence at all times is peace, no matter the situation. No matter what is happening, If Jesus fills your heart, there will be peace within you. The antidote to trouble in your heart is believing in God and our Lord Jesus Christ. Fear not, only believe. His presence will give you rest. If God is for you, nothing can be against you. Keep calm, no matter the case, but speak to the situation or mountain first, even before asking God for what next you should do (Exodus 14:13–16, Mark 11:23, Mark 4:39).

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 KJV

“And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?" Mark 4:39-40 KJV

In times of trouble, never do anything that is against faith or under unbelief. Speaking against the situation or the storm is faith. Praying to God is faith. Believing that God will deliver you and make a way for you is faith. If you go in this direction and expect a miracle, there will be peace in your heart. No matter the case, the end will be good for you if God is with you.

Put God first!

 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." John 1:1 KJV.

You cannot improve on God, nor can you do anything better than God. Commit your life totally to God by asking Him to take control of everything. If you put God in charge, you can never fail. We fail because we neglect God and try to do things on our own. If you put God first and last and leave no room for yourself, then you can see situations turning around for your good. If you pray and get God’s Word on any matter, you have committed God and put Him in charge.

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” Genesis 1:1 KJV

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Matthew 6:33 KJV

Nothing can take the place of God, not your job, people, or anything for that matter Our advantage in this life as Christians is the Word of God and the Spirit of God. Many of us try first, and when we fail, we go to God. I am sorry; that is a foolish way of approaching life. Most of us are guilty of this, including me. God taught me this throughout my undergraduate days, but I observed that I had unconsciously put this winning strategy aside. However, every time I activated this strategy, I always won without stress. You can always turn around any situation if you put God totally in control by receiving His Word and following His Spirit.

Enter your breakthrough season in Jesus' name.

Praying in God’s will

 “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:" 1 John 5:14 KJV.

Prayer is a key component of our Christian lives. If, as a Christian, you are getting answers to your prayers, your life will reflect the glory of God. This makes it important for us to know the secret to get an answer to our prayers. One major secret is praying according to the will of God. If you know the will of God, you will be passionate and effectual in your prayer. Praying in the will of God gives you confidence that your prayers will be answered.

“Produce your cause, saith the Lord; bring forth your strong reasons, saith the King of Jacob Isaiah 41:21 KJV

“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered." Romans 8:26 KJV

If you pray according to the word of God and also pray in the Holy Spirit, you will never need to worry about getting answers to your prayers. The word of God is the will of God. The Holy Spirit knows what we need to pray for and prays for you in the will of God. When we pray in tongues, our understanding is unfruitful, but our spirit prays. When you pray, be passionate, but pray the word of God and pray in the Holy Ghost.

How to do God’s will

 “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect." Romans 12:2 NLT.

The will of God is good, pleasing, and perfect. If you put yourself at the center of God’s will for your life, you will be protected, have peace, and be adequately catered for. You have three major responsibilities if you desire to do God’s will. The first is to know God’s will, the second is to meditate on His will, and then you can do God’s will. The will of God is revealed in the written word of God. If you meditate daily on this, your thinking will change, so will your way of life.

 “Guard your heart above all else,  for it determines the course of your life." Proverbs 4:23 NLT

“Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do." Joshua 1:8 NLT

It is exciting to know that you can determine the course of your life. It is more exciting to know that you can change the course of your life, particularly if you don’t like what is going on with it. All you need to do is take charge of what you put into your mind and, consequently, the way you think.  Just by listening to the word of God repeatedly in the area of your struggle, you can change your thinking and, consequently, the course of your life.

May the mind of Christ Jesus be in you in Jesus' name.

Prayer that changes seasons

 “And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." Acts 1:7-8.

Someone said you may not be able to change times or seasons, but you can change yourself. Yes, if you change, your times or seasons will change. However, part of the change is for you to approach God, who changes times and seasons in prayer. Daniel stated that God changes times and seasons. Jesus said to the disciples that if they receive power, they will not have to worry about times and seasons. If you receive the blessings, wisdom, and power of God, your times and seasons will change.

“And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:" Danie, 1:21

“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him." James 1:5

Perhaps the season is not favorable and you desire a change. You must ask God for blessings, wisdom, and power. Throughout the scriptures, you will find the stories of people whose seasons and times changed because they received a blessing, wisdom or empowerment from God. The story of the father of faith can be studied in Genesis 11 and 12. God brought wisdom and blessing into his life, and his season changed despite his poor background. You can also study the story of Peter in Luke 5.

Avoiding prayer failure

 “And he said, Take the arrows. And he took them. And he said unto the king of Israel, Smite upon the ground. And he smote thrice, and stayed. And the man of God was wroth with him, and said, Thou shouldest have smitten five or six times; then hadst thou smitten Syria till thou hadst consumed it: whereas now thou shalt smite Syria but thrice." 2 Kings 13:18-19.

Prayer is powerful, and if engaged in the way it should be done, it will bring victory and supernatural manifestation. Prayer itself cannot fail, but a person can fail to get results through prayer. One of the reasons for this is when someone stops praying before getting through in the spirit. This was what happened to King Joash when Elisha told him to smite the ground. He did it three times and stopped without getting further instructions. A lot of people either get discouraged or think they are praying too much, and as a result, they only get half-baked breakthroughs or fail to get any results.

“…. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees, And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, There is nothing. And he said, Go again seven times. And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man's hand...." 1 Kings 18:42-44

“Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia." Daniel 10:12-13

Beloved, if you are not there yet, don’t stop praying and don’t get discouraged. Your breakthrough will manifest if you don’t give up. Your archenemy will want you to give up on prayer. He knows that the moment you start praying, your victory is guaranteed. Be fervent, be effective, and align your request with the will of God through the word of God.

All things are learnable!

 “Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old." Matthew 13:52.

I was watching a young man from South Africa on Britain's got talent. He used to be a footballer but lost one of his legs to a disease. Then he joined his friends and learned how to dance. His dancing presentation was excellent and better than most people with two legs. He got a heroic welcome to South Africa a few days ago. There is nothing you cannot learn if you consider it important. You cannot underestimate the importance of learning for destiny fulfillment. If you are teachable, you will reach great heights in life.

“And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 18:3-4

“Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;" Hebrews 5:8

As a Christian, if you are going to be victorious and enjoy the covenant blessing, you must learn obedience. Obedience is learnable, just like other things in life. Your Christian life depends totally on your obedience to the word of God. The truth is that if you want the best of God, you will have to die to self. Training is hard and may feel like suffering, but if it births understanding and obedience in you, you will become a better person.

May you be humble enough to be teachable and to learn obedience in Jesus' name.

Press into the kingdom!

 “The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it." Luke 16:16.

Since the time of John the Baptist, the kingdom of God has been here with us. The kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost (Romans 14:17). Your life as a Christian must experience what the kingdom offers. Sin, sickness, poverty, and bondages are not part of the kingdom and must be violently rejected. You must press in through faith and prayer to experience the kingdom of God on earth.

“And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,  When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague." Mark 5:25-29

“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force." Matthew 11:12

Do not fold your arms and watch the enemy do whatever he likes in your territory.  Evict the enemy from your territory and take what belongs to you. Press in like the woman with the issue of blood. Press in like Bartimaeus (Mark 10:46–52). Tarry in prayer and do not give up until you see the kingdom manifest in your life on earth.

Surviving in a hostile environment 3

 “Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.” Matthew 10:16

What chance does a sheep have to survive in the midst of wolves except for the wisdom and strength of the shepherd? Jesus is our Chief Shepherd (1Peter 5:4), he can protect us at any time. If, as a sheep, you have found yourself among wolves where God planted you, you must let God do the fighting. Our Chief Shepherd said, “be harmless like a dove.” A dove signifies peace, humility and total dependence on God. When God is doing the fighting, you will pity the wolves.

 “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:” Hebrews 12:14

“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31

The outcome of any battle does not depend on the strength of the opposition or its weapons. It depends on our covenant with God. Engage God to do the fighting for you, but follow the way of peace. Isaac remained in Gerar and prospered there (Genesis 26). The people started their trouble, but he did not leave. He dug well, and they contested with him. He went ahead to dig another one until they could not compete with him anymore. God shall fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.

Surviving in a hostile environment 2

 “Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.” Matthew 10:16

Jesus said wisdom is needed if you find yourself in hostile environments. A wise sheep can be in the midst of purposefully hostile wolves and yet not be devoured. Jesus likened the wisdom needed by such sheep to the wisdom of a serpent. You will agree with me that despite the fact that human beings hate serpents, they have not been able to annihilate them, serpents still live with us. Serpents are so wise that they will escape any trap set for them.

“And one of his servants said, None, my lord, O king: but Elisha, the prophet that is in Israel, telleth the king of Israel the words that thou speakest in thy bedchamber.” 2 Kings 6:12

“And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong. But he passing through the midst of them went his way,” Luke 4:29-30

As a sheep, you must hear the voice of the shepherd and act on it. The king of Israel would always escape the trap of the king of Syria because Elisha was telling him about it. The crowd wanted to cast Jesus down over the hill, but he walked away in the midst of them. You will have to depend on God’s supernatural wisdom and act on His word, if where He has planted you is hostile to you. Spend time with God and ask Him what He wants you to do.

Surviving in a hostile environment 1

 “Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.” Matthew 10:16

You can survive wherever God sends you, even if you are like a sheep in the midst of wolves. If God sends you there, the wolves will lose the power to eat meat.  An environment can be hostile for many reasons, but mostly because of the response of the people and the principality ruling the environment. The first thing you need is confidence that God has sent you there. If God has sent you there, He will back you up. The next thing is for you to totally depend on God and His instructions for you. Be attentive to His voice.

“For he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him.” Genesis 26:14

“And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him,” Acts 7:9

If you are sure that God sent you there, then you will be confident that you are not alone. Isaac was told by God to stay in Gerar. He planted there, and God blessed him. The people of the place became hostile to him, but God was with him. When his brothers sold Joseph to Egypt, they did not know that God was using them to send him there. The presence of God was with him. Beloved, if you are conscious of the plan of God to be where you are, you will survive no matter the hostility of the land. You must stay there until God tells you to leave.

The impactful life 5

 “If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct.” Ecclesiastes 10:10

Wisdom is needed to live an impactful life. Wisdom brings profit. Wisdom gives profitable direction. Wisdom makes quality and profitable decisions. Wisdom is the principal in the school of progress. If you walk with God, you cannot be a fool. If you walk with God, you will be wise like Him (Prov 13:20). Wisdom gives life to those who have it (Ecc 7:12). If you ask God for wisdom, He will give you wisdom (James 1:5). If you meditate daily in the word of God, you will deal wisely in all affairs of life (Joshua 1:8).

“And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left." Isaiah 30:21 KJV

“Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.” Jeremiah 6:16 KJV

Never make decisions under pressure, and let God guide you all the way. If someone is putting you under [pressure, he has a hidden agenda If you have conflicting facts, give them time. Never compromise a long-term reward for short-term enjoyment. Build your capacity daily.  Pray through and think through before you take any steps.

May you always have direction through the leading of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ name.

The impactful life 4

 “That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” Hebrews 6:12

An impactful life is a faith-based life. Faith conquers. Faith wins. Faith takes risks. Faith sees possibilities even when faced with impossibilities. Faith moves. Faith acts. When your faith is based on the word of God, you do what only God can do. When you build your faith, you build yourself to quench and subdue all oppositions. If faith is active in you, you cannot be stopped. No matter your situation build your faith through meditation on the word of God and fellowship with His Spirit.

“By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went." Hebrews 11:8KJV

“Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions. Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.” Hebrews 11:33-34KJV

The truth is that no one can do great things on earth without faith. If you say you are a Christian, show us the evidence of your faith. Christianity is not a religion; it is a faith-driven life. As a Christian, you must be receiving visions from God, acting on God’s instruction even if it is risky, and getting results. If you are not getting things done as a Christian, you need fire. You must go to God and stay in His presence until faith enters you.
