New things 1

 “Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:18-19

God shall do a new thing for you. If you believe, say amen. Whatever is negative and unwanted in and around you shall become a former thing and give way to a new thing. Get ready for a way in the wilderness and path in the red sea. Get ready for rivers in the desert and water from the rock. Why? Because God says so and His word is true.

“Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the Lord will do great things.” Joel 2:21

“Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?” John11:40

Stop worrying about things you have seen that are negative, start expecting new things that are positive. God will not only do new things, He will do greater things. You can hold God by His word if you believe. You know, most times, we are tempted to accept a situation because it has persisted for a long time. No, don’t! Our text today is your key to challenging such a situation. This is your time for new and greater things.

You shall experience new things in Jesus name.

Victory keys for Christians 4

 “That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” Hebrews 6:12

All the keys that I have been discussing in the past three days are made to work through faith and patience. Christians are the people that are born of God and are overcomers. However, every Christian must live by faith. You must stay in faith no matter what you are going through until you see results. This is where patience comes in. Faith comes by hearing God’s word. You must keep on building your faith through meditation on the word of God.

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” 1 John 5:4

“In your patience possess ye your souls.” Luke 21:19

Declare and confess the word of God until you see the result, no matter your situation. Victory is guaranteed for all believers if we patiently stay in faith. We must not walk by sight but rather believe the report of our God. We must be willing to wait in faith until our desired victories come.

Victory keys for Christians 3

“He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes; Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.” Psalm 105:14-15

Another key to your victory is the Anointing. You must be anointed as a Christian. You don’t need to be a Pastor or a Preacher to be anointed. The anointing is your security against the attacks of the enemy. You cannot be anointed and be defeated by the enemy. When you are anointed the size of your enemy does not matter. It takes the anointing to stay on the winning side. Anointing is an indication of God’s presence in your life.

“And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.” Isaiah 10:27

“I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him: With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him. The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him.” Psalms 89:20-22

Anyone who is fighting an anointed man is fighting God. Anointing makes you frustrate and defeat Satan at all times. The secret of the anointing is spending time with God. Do not be too busy to be in God’s presence. This is because when God anoints you, no power can overcome you.

Victory keys for Christians 2

 “You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you.’” 2 Chronicles 20:17

Another key to your victory is praise. The best type of victory is the one you experience without having to fight. That is what I regard as being more than a conqueror. When you engage the power of praise, you enjoy sweat-less victories. Praise commits the host of heavens in your battle and puts a double-edged sword in your hand.

“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” Romans 8:37

“Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;” Psalms 149:6

In our text today, three big nations came to battle with a small nation Judah. Judah turned the battle over to God and engaged the power of praise. As a result, the people of Judah did not need to fight, they only took the bounty that came from the war. This is because when you pray God sends an Angel but when you praise He comes by Himself.

Victory keys for Christians 1

 “And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Mathew 16:17-18

Two things are sure about you on earth as a Christian. The first one is that you will be attacked. The second one is that you are victorious. You do not need to do anything before you are attacked, but you need to know what you must do to appropriate your victory. One of the keys to your victory is revelation. Action based on revelation cannot fail. Revelation is the basis of the winning faith.  

“Therefore the heart of the king of Syria was sore troubled for this thing; and he called his servants, and said unto them, Will ye not shew me which of us is for the king of Israel? And one of his servants said, None, my lord, O king: but Elisha, the prophet that is in Israel, telleth the king of Israel the words that thou speakest in thy bedchamber.” 2 Kings 6:11-12

“As I was in the days of my youth, when the secret of God was upon my tabernacle;” Job 29:4

Jesus said if Christians walk in revelation the gates of hell cannot prevail against them. You must have the revelation of whom you are in Christ, the finished work of Christ for your destiny, and of the gates of hell. The enemy can never defeat you if you understand his secrets. Also, you will always enjoy the blessing and the power of God if you understand God’s secrets. The question is what has God revealed to you concerning what you are going through?

May you walk in revelation at all times in Jesus name.

God does not change!

 “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” Hebrews 13:8

In the destiny equation, the God factor is a constant factor and the major factor. Every other factor can change: weather changes, economy changes, friends can change, even you yourself can change, your beauty may change, your strength may dwindle, and even your IQ. Only God remains unchanged in a changing environment and situation. To maintain a glorious position in a changing world, you must maintain your relationship with God who does not change.

“For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.” Malachi 3:6.

“And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him,” Acts 7:9

You cannot go down if God is with you even in a dwindling economy. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Because the Lord was constantly with the sons of Jacob, it was impossible for them to be consumed. Joseph became a commodity in the slave market, but God was with him. He ended up becoming a Prime Minister in a strange land. Beloved, if your relationship with God remains unshaken, you cannot be shaken.

I see the glory of God shining on you as you build a solid relationship with Him.

Focus on capacity development

  “If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.” Proverbs 24:10

Your capacity is more important than the size of your challenges.   Look at it this way; if you give a primary school student a university-level problem to solve, it looks enormous for him. However, if later, he becomes a university student, the same problem becomes easy. How long a challenge will stay in your life and how difficult or strong the challenge will be, is actually more dependent on your capacity than the challenge itself. Capacity development, physical and spiritual, is your key to staying above any situation.

“And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her..” Luke 10:41-42

“A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:” Proverbs 1:5

Program yourself to spend early or later hours of your day with God every day. Position yourself to develop yourself in key areas of your life. Stop worrying about your life’s challenges. Be active in your church, keep friends who love God and are given to learning. Have clear goals and expectations daily and commit them to God. Be grateful always.

May you chase substance and not shadows in Jesus name.

Go for His voice

  “And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.  And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?” 1 kings 19:12-13

The sound you follow determines the soundness of your life. Both the noise and the voice make sounds. You must differentiate the voice from the noise and follow the voice. Your personal prayer altar is where you hear His voice and sieve the noise. The noise is in most cases louder than the voice, but your breakthrough is in hearing the voice and following it. The noise will give you fear, but the voice will give you faith. If all you can hear is the noise, you are in trouble. The noise will cast you down, but the voice will lift you up. The voice will give you direction, but the noise will give you a distraction.  

“I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.” Psalms 32:8

“And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.” Isaiah 30:21

 Most times, noises appear as voices, but you must be able to differentiate the voice from the noise for a forceful and profitable life. The voice is what you need to enjoy peace in the midst of war, to enjoy tranquility in the midst of storms, to enjoy prosperity and sound health in the midst of pandemics. Three keys can help you to access the voice for your destiny. They include fellowship with God, meditation on His word, and obedience to scriptural instructions. I silence every noise around you in Jesus name. May you hear the voice of the Lord in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, kill the noise around me and grant me access to Your voice in Jesus name.

The Prayer altar of Daniel

 “Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.” Daniel 6:10.

Every man that walked with God and through whom the power and the wisdom were displayed had a strong prayer altar. One of them was Daniel. He excelled as an academician, a Priest, and a Politician. He prayed three times a day. The bible did not tell us how long each of those prayers lasted. However, it was clear that he did it with the intention to be a true witness and representative of God in the world of His time.  He kept the altar with the purity of body, soul, and spirit, so there was no room for the enemy, whether spiritual or physical.

“There is a man in thy kingdom, in whom is the spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of thy father light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, was found in him; whom the king Nebuchadnezzar thy father, the king, I say, thy father, made master of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers; Forasmuch as an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and shewing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar: now let Daniel be called, and he will shew the interpretation.” Daniel 5:11-12

The earthen testified that Daniel had the answers they were looking for. Daniel had access to secrets that were not available to the magicians of Babylon. Daniel was indomitable. Daniel had influence. Christians with strong character, purity, and power like Daniel are needed today. Will you be one?

Do you have a prayer altar?

 “And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour? Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Matthew 26:40-41.

The Patriarchs had physical altars where they meet God and offer sacrifices. We saw Elijah in 1 Kings 18 repairing the altar, according to the pattern before bringing down fire. An altar is as powerful as the Spirit behind it. God lives in us today through His Holy Spirit so I believe that every believer is an altar of God. However, I believe your prayer altar is your conscious personal routine to meet God in order for you to be an expression of His glory to your world. You are as strong as your prayer altar.

“Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.” Acts 3:1

“And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.” Luke 6:12

You need to service your personal prayer altar for at least one hour, to be above evil altars around you that bring temptations and disorder. I believe that every Christian should give a tithe of the 24 hours in a day to service their personal prayer altars. Your personal prayer altar must be strong if you are not going to live in fear and be subjected to the same things that come upon people in this endtime.

Generating spiritual energy 3

 “Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.” Proverbs 27:17.

If you really desire to generate spiritual energy, choose the company of people who carry spiritual energy. Wood cannot sharpen iron, it makes the iron blunt, only iron can sharpen iron. The company you keep can determine whether you would carry fire or not. I remember very well that when I was growing up as a Christian, like-minded friends supported and helped me.

“He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.” Proverbs 13:20

“And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them” Acts 16:25

I have always known that the easiest way to develop a habit is to keep a  company that behaves in a similar manner. If you keep the company of prayer warriors, you will become a prayer warrior. If you keep a company of the people who believe in God and walk in His power, you will begin to do so even if you never have had an experience before.

May you choose the company of people with spiritual energy in Jesus name.

Generating spiritual energy 2

 “And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.” Luke 24:49.

If you really desire to generate spiritual energy, you must learn to tarry in God’s presence. The ability to tarry is one of the significant differences between weak and strong Christians. If you cultivate the habit of tarrying in God’s presence, you will carry His glory and power. This is the answer to our weaknesses and powerlessness.

“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31

“The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.” Psalms 110:1

“And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come nigh him.” Exodus 34:30

Maybe you are feeling weak and have no or little energy as a Christian; begin to wait upon the Lord. Sit in His presence worshiping, meditating, and praying until His glory come upon you. You cannot have an encounter with Him and not carry His energy. But I can assure you that the devil will not want you to do this. He will try to use the busyness of this generation to prevent you. But I pray for you, may you receive grace to tarry in His presence in Jesus name.

Generating spiritual energy 1

 “Let thy garments be always white; and let thy head lack no ointment.” Ecclesiastes 9:8.

Generating spiritual energy is both a result of work and grace. If you accept spiritual responsibility, you position yourself to receive the spiritual energy that only the Holy Spirit gives. Your garment must be white; you cannot compromise on holy living. You must also position your head for the oil. Both must be in place if you desire the spiritual energy to fulfill your destiny and your calling.

“Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:” Hebrews 12:14

“As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.” Psalms 42:1

If your garment is dirty, satan will resist you. So if you are struggling with holiness, ask God to help you. Dedicate yourself afresh unto God and ask Him to sanctify you by His word. Be hungry for God, you can never reach a level of spiritual satisfaction if you want fresh oil on your head.

Let the light and the fire of God enter into you in Jesus name.

What is your spiritual temperature?

 “I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.” Revelation 3:15.

Spiritual energy is like heat energy, the driving force is the temperature difference. Your spiritual temperature is an indication of your spiritual energy. John spoke about Jesus baptizing people with the Holy Ghost and fire. Jesus Himself said He came to kindle fire and put the tongue of fire on the disciples on the day of Pentecost. God our Father is also a consuming fire. You cannot afford to be 'fireless' and cold; you must be really hot for the Lord against the devil and his kingdom.

“Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;” Romans 12:11

“And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.” Revelation 3:1

How do we know your spiritual temperature? Your work, how you serve the Lord. You cannot carry fire and not be involved in the work of God, both in the church and the marketplace. You cannot carry fire in your bone and be in agreement with the devil to bow to Nebuchadnezzar’s idol. It is however important to be hot because of both the spiritual and secular challenges that are ahead of us.

Laws of change 3

 “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.” Psalms 1:1.

The third law of change is the Law of changed association. The law states that if you want to change what you have been, you must change your close association. The closely acquainted association you keep determines who you become.  Close associations make any habit in life ease whether good or bad. The people you are closely acquainted with have a great influence on your life. Examine your inner circle of friends today and make a profitable decision for your destiny.

“And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Matthew 4:19

“Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.” 1 Corinthians 15:33

There are different levels of association. Jesus had three disciples who are in the inner caucus. He also had 12 disciples who followed him about. He had 70 disciples, 120 disciples, and the multitude who also followed him. Who are in your inner caucus? Who are you following? Who do you listen to and obey? This is what determines who you eventually become. You may need to change your inner caucus if you need a change in your life.

Laws of change 2

 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:2.

The second law of change is the Law of mind renewal. The law states that a renewed mind precedes a renewed life.  Your perspective, decisions, and actions change when your mind is renewed. If you need a change in your life, you must work on your mind. Whenever you change your mind, you have changed your life. You have to guide your mind to guide your life.

“Keep thy heart (mind) with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” Proverbs 4:23 Emphasis mine

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” Joshua 1: 8

What you watch, read, or listen to, are feeds for your mind. They condition your mind and consequently your life. The primary and most powerful way to change your life is by feeding your mind with the word of God.  Gather materials in the area of your challenges, listen, watch, and read them. This will impart your mind and consequently change your life.

Laws of change 1

 “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17.

I want to share with you three laws of change. These are the Law of divine encounter, the Law of mind renewal, and the Law of changed association. I will share the Law of divine encounter this morning and the other two in the next two days. Perhaps you desire a change in your life or in your personal situation. You need to know that your situation cannot change until you change. Your situation can only be better if you become better. Your change begins with a divine encounter. The Law of divine encounter state that you cannot remain the same if you encounter Christ, the anointed one.

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.” Luke 4:18

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” Acts 10:38

The Law of divine encounter is not about religion, it is about a definite experience and a way of life. It is not about church attendance, although the experience will connect you to church. I don’t care to know how long you have been attending church, but I care to inform you that a personal revelation and encounter with Jesus Christ will change your life forever. This is the only answer to the question of sin, sickness, and bondage.

Dealing with the gates 3

 “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:13.

You can deal with any gate confronting you no matter how powerful, or how long the gate has been. However, you must identify the gate, confront and conquer it. You must speak against the gate, prophesy against the gate and ask for divine assistance to conquer the gate. You must build your spiritual and physical capacity through fellowship with Lord and purposeful learning to acquire the wisdom you need. You must listen and be obedient to the specific instruction from God to deal with the gate.

“And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram's horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him” Joshua 6:5

“When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from him.” Acts 12:10

Each gate needs its own strategy, but some gates will open on their own accord if you have developed the wisdom and power that you need. Pay attention to consistent personal development, physically and spiritually. Never neglect instruction, training, and fellowship with God and with the right people.

Your gates are open in Jesus name.

Dealing with the gates 2

 “But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.” Daniel 10:13.

Gates can be personalities, physical or spiritual. The Angel was denied access by a gate, called the Prince of Persia. He needed reinforcement to gain access because power is needed to deal with spiritual gates. A gateman to a building has the authority to hinder or permit access. When dealing with Gatemen such as consular, wisdom and favor are needed. Access to higher authority will always make a gate to surrender.

“But the angel of the Lord stood in a path of the vineyards, a wall being on this side, and a wall on that side.” Numbers 22:24

“The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.” Proverbs 21:1

When you face an interview panel for any reason, you are confronting a gate. You need both wisdom and favor to get through. A king can be a gate, and a policy can also be a gate. But if you have the wisdom and the power of God, the king can favor you and grant you access. This was what happened to Esther.

May you have favor at the gate of your breakthrough in Jesus name.

Dealing with the gates 1

 “Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.” Psalms 24:9.

Every physical gate has a spiritual representation.  The physical gate cannot open when the spiritual gate is closed.  Every treasure in life is gated, so access is needed. Every major and necessary event in life has a gate. Unless the gate is opened access is denied. Wisdom and power are needed to open gates. The gates that have denied you access are opened in Jesus name.

“Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in.” Joshua 6:1

“And it came to pass after this, that Benhadad king of Syria gathered all his host, and went up, and besieged Samaria.” 2 Kings 6:24

There are financial gates, marriage gates, business gates, ministry gates, gates of motherhood, and many others. If it is important, it has a gate. If you must experience it, the gate must open for you. There are unseen city and nation gates. If the gate is not opened the visa is denied. If you are physically present in a city or nation and the spiritual gate is not opened, you cannot prosper there. I decree that the gate of the city where you dwell is opened for you in Jesus name.

Make things happen

 “The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord's: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.” Psalms 115:16.

God has given you this realm to make things happen, but you need His wisdom and power. Your personal relationship with God guarantees your access to His wisdom and power. God has made it easy to relate with Him through the Word became flesh, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. If you have a personal revelation of Jesus Christ, you will be anointed with the Holy Spirit.  

“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” John 15:5

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” Acts 10:38

Spend time with God until you receive a vision from Him and the Holy Spirit anoints you. Although God has given the earth to the children of men, only what is revealed to you belongs to you. Your portion is waiting for you to be taken. Stop looking down on yourself. Do not consider yourself a failure. This is the time to follow Jesus with your whole heart so that He can make you to make things happen.

Speak or pray?

 “And the Lord said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward: But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.” Exodus 14:15-16.

There is a time to pray to God and there is a time to speak to situations and things. Moses was still praying when God expected him to divide the red sea and move forward. Jesus at the tomb of Lazarus prayed to God, but spoke to Lazarus to come out. Most of our challenges in life will require us to speak to it for us to have victory. However, if we know how to spend time with God by praying in the secret our speaking will carry more power.

“Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.” Job 22:28

“Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me…. And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.” John 11:41-43

I believe we must spend time in prayer, worshiping God and asking Him for wisdom and power. But, when we are confronted with mountains, we must speak to them (Mark 11:23-24). We must learn how to decree and see result. This understanding is significant in our walk of faith. Don’t waste time praying when you are supposed to be speaking.

 

I decree you have the victory in Jesus name.

You have authority

 “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Luke 10:19.

As a believer in Christ, you have His power to deal with things and issues on earth. He has authorized you to tread on whatever represents serpents and scorpions, and any power of the enemy. You must learn to use your authority at all times in all situations. You must remember that the one who gave you the authority has all powers in heaven and on earth.

“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.” Matthew 28:18

“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Mark 16:17-18

When you decide to use your authority and you use it, satan has no option but to obey. When dealing with the work of the enemy you don’t actually need to pray to the Father. You only need to exercise your authority and declare what should be in the name of Jesus. Learn to declare this way, “sickness go in the name of Jesus.” And when you do, expect results. Take authority on any challenge you may be facing right now. Don’t be afraid and don’t doubt.

You have authority, use it right now in Jesus name.

Turn to wisdom

 “Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.” Proverbs 1:23.

The best decision you can take right now is to turn to the wisdom of God. The wisdom of God is a Spirit. The wisdom of God is a Word. When you receive this Spirit of wisdom, you shall have access to the Word of wisdom. Now you must be willing to do whatever it takes to get the wisdom of God. It is the key to beating the perilous and uncertain times.

“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.” Proverbs 4:7

“Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:” Ephesians 1:16-17

Receiving Jesus into your life is the beginning of this wisdom. The conscious decision to make Him the Lord of your life is key to living in the wisdom of God. Invest time to study the person and the principle of Jesus. This is profitable labor. Ask God for the Spirit of wisdom and access to the mystery of His word. This is also labor, and surely profitable. Do not stop until the Spirit of wisdom rest on you.

May you receive the Wisdom of God in Jesus name.

Be strong in the Lord

 “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.” Ephesians 6:10.

The instruction Paul gave to the brethren in Ephesus is meant for us today. He is saying to us to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. It is your responsibility to be strong in the Lord. It is your responsibility to put on the whole armor of God. If you do, you will be standing in any situation you find yourself in.

“Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper withersoever thou goest.” Joshua 1:7

“Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:” Matthew 7:24

You cannot afford to neglect this instruction. Any man who does is a fool. It is similar to the instruction God gave to Joshua, who led Israel to possess the promised land. Jesus said you are building your house on the rock if you do this saying. Actually to be strong in the Lord is simply to give yourself to knowing, believing, and doing His will for your life. If you do, nothing can defeat you in this world.

Keep your joy

 “Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” Nehemiah 8:10.

No matter what you are going through, you must keep your joy. The joy of the Lord is the strength you need for you not to faint in the days of challenges. If the enemy cannot steal your joy, he cannot steal your strength, and consequently, he cannot defeat you. I believe joy gives you the stamina to withstand challenges, while faith gives you the victory to overcome challenges. Both are obtainable in the presence of the Lord.

“Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” Psalms 16:11

“If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.” Proverbs 24:10

When you are confronted by situations stronger than you, the best place to be is the presence of the Lord. This is the place where you can get your joy back and keep your joy. This is where you will get the fullness of joy, which means the fullness of strength. Spend more time with the Lord and you will receive the joy you need to scale through any life hurdle. Do you have any thanksgiving, praise, or worship songs that tune your spirit to the Lord? This may be your key to accessing the presence of the Lord in order to obtain the fullness of joy in any situation (Psalm 100:4).

May you experience the joy of the Lord at all times in Jesus name.

Are you looking for faith?

 “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2.

Faith answers life’s problems. Faith overcomes the challenges of life. Faith is key to the Christian life because the just shall live by faith. Now if you need faith, you must look in the right direction. Faith is not in your storm, stop looking unto the storm. The faith you need is not in a man, stop looking unto man. The faith you need now is in Jesus, look unto Him.

“But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.” Matthew 14:30

“Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalms 46:10

When Peter looked at the wind, he saw fear and started sinking. But, when he turned his eyes back to Jesus, faith came and he walked with Jesus on the water into the boat. I don’t care to know how big or impossible your present challenge is, but I care enough to tell you to look unto Jesus. Jesus will give you the faith to win this battle and to subdue this mountain.

Be still and experience the power of God in Jesus name.

Your hair shall grow again

 “Howbeit the hair of his head began to grow again after he was shaven.” Judges 16:22.

There is restoration for you. What the enemy took shall be restored. Your hair shall grow again. God is giving you another chance. You can begin again. All hope is not lost. The enemy thought that all hope was lost because they had shaved Samson. Unknown to them, his hair began to grow again. His source of strength was restored. He did more exploit at his death than in his entire life.

“And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.” Joel 2:25

“For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.” Jeremiah 30:17

Your lost years shall be restored. Your health shall be restored.  Your wealth shall be restored. Your destiny shall be restored. Your marriage shall be restored. God is the restorer. Turn to Him if you need any restoration in your life. It can never be too late if you are alive. Expect a new beginning of great things from God.

I decree restoration in every area of your life in Jesus name.

Conquering failure 3

 “He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.” Proverbs 25:28.

If you want to conquer failure in any area of your life, you must conquer indiscipline. You must tell your body what to do and not the other way round. You must take personal responsibility for your life.  Indiscipline leads to laziness, procrastination, and loose life. Any of these is a threat to your success in any pursuit. Whatever you cannot control can kill you.

“I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:14

“But I discipline my body and keep it under control,[b] lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.” 1 Corinthians 9:27

You must be willing to do what needs to be done to achieve success without compromising God’s principles, whether convenient or not. Identify habits that are working against you and deal with them. Identify relationships that are drawing you back and deal with them. You must be self-disciplined to achieve your goals.

May you conquer what has conquered you in Jesus name.

Conquering failure 2

 “As the king passed by, the prophet called out to him, “Sir, I was in the battle, and a man brought me a prisoner and said, ‘Keep this man; if he gets away, you must die, or else pay me $2,000!’ But while I was busy doing something else, the prisoner disappeared!” 1 Kings 20:39-40(TLB)

You must conquer distraction if you want to conquer failure in any area of your life. Distraction reduces your input into and commitment to your vision. Most times, success will demand all of you. Distraction is a result of either indiscipline or indecision. If you have not decided totally on a vision, you could be easily distracted. If you are not disciplined enough to cut off unnecessary activities in your life, your success can be threatened.

“And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.” Luke 10:41-42

“Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.” Daniel 6:10

Distraction makes you busy with something else.  It is wise to determine what is needful and put your whole life into it. Nothing would distract Daniel from praying, not even a threat of being cast into the Lions' den. What is it that you must be doing regularly as a habit to succeed? Cut off all distractions and do it at all costs if you want to conquer failure.

I break the hold of distraction over you in Jesus name.

Conquering failure 1

 “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:…...” Hosea 4:6a

If you want to conquer failure in any area of your life, you must conquer ignorance first. You must be hungry for knowledge to conquer ignorance and embrace success. Whatever a man may engage in, be it marriage, business, ministry, or any pursuit, you must acquire knowledge first. If you are not knowledgeable, you are setting yourself up for failure.

“And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.” Luke 19:41-42

“Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,” 2 Peter 1:2

Jesus wept over Jerusalem because of ignorance. Peter revealed that knowledge brings grace and peace. You can always turn failure into success if you go for adequate knowledge. Read books, follow those who know and gain knowledge through them. Attend seminars and training purposely to acquire knowledge. Then you will have the power to conquer failure.  

Ignorance shall not have a hold on your life in Jesus name.
