“And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil.” 2 Kings 4:2 KJV.
If you have given your life to Jesus Christ, you have the Holy Spirit. The woman in our text had a pot of oil in her house, and she said she had nothing. Most Christians are like that; they have the Holy Spirit, and they are saying they have nothing! How would you say you have nothing when you have the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit will teach you all things, show you things, lead you in the direction you should go, and teach you to profit. If you engage the Holy Ghost, you will not be confused.
“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” John 14:26
“But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye
need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all
things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall
abide in him.” 1 John 2:26-27 KJV
When you are confronted by a difficult situation, the situation is only asking you a question. The question is, what will you do now? If you know what to do, the problem ceases to be difficult. You have the Holy Spirit in you who has answers to all situations. Meditate repeatedly on the book of Acts and catch the revelation of what the Holy Spirit will do with and through those who relay with Him as a person.
May you hear the gentle whispers of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for today: Holy Spirit help me, teach me, and lead me, in Jesus’ name.
Salvation: Lord Jesus, I believe in the
forgiveness of sin and in the redemption from the power of darkness through
your blood. I confess you as my Savior and Lord. I invite you into my
life to save my soul. Holy Spirit, come into my heart and make me what you want
me to be. Thank you Lord for saving me in Jesus name.
