Connecting to a desired future 1

“I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.” Habakkuk 2:1-2

Your connection with the Person who holds the future is your access to knowing the future. The future you have not defined, you cannot desire or talk of connecting to it. You need to know that not having a desire is a desire. It means anything you experience is okay for you. You also need to know that the best desire you can have for yourself is what God desires for you. If you can discern His desire for your life and make it your desire, you will enjoy heaven’s backing and connect to your future without stress. Wait on Him to reveal something to you. Don’t just run with your own agenda; run with His agenda for your life as we enter 2024.

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Jeremiah 29:11

If you can trust God with your life and ask Him to reveal something to you, He will definitely do so. Stay in His presence until you know His agenda for your life. I can assure you, the future He has for you is good. Most importantly, God funds His own agenda and provides strength for the weak.

The year 2024 will be the best year you have ever seen, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: The God that holds the future, show me your agenda for my life, in Jesus’ name.

Salvation: Lord Jesus, I believe in the forgiveness of sin and in the redemption from the power of darkness through your blood. I confess you as my Savior and Lord.  I invite you into my life to save my soul. Holy Spirit, come into my heart and make me what you want me to be. Thank you Lord for saving me in Jesus name.
