They will soon change their mind

“The people waited for him to swell up or suddenly drop dead. But when they had waited a long time and saw no harm come to him, THEY CHANGED THEIR MIND and decided he was a god" Act. 28:6 (New Living).

Whosoever that is waiting for your fall or failure will be disappointed in Jesus name. Paul and the soldiers guarding him escaped the sea after more than 14 days of storm. It got to a stage when all hope was gone, but God intervened and they landed on the island of Malta. As Paul was gathering sticks, a poisonous snake fastened itself onto his hand. So the people thought that maybe he was wicked that was why all the evil was happening to him. They expected him to drop dead. However, when their expectations were disappointed, they changed their mind and concluded he was a god.

“And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.” Luke 1:36
“The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free. He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance:” Psalm 105:20-21

Maybe what you have been passing through was like a storm. And people have been talking all kinds of evil about you, expecting you to be swallowed up. Hear the word of the Lord: They will soon change their mind. This is because your story will change. You will not be swallowed up. Rather your miracle will manifest. The same people will thank God for you. For the storm is over. It is impossible for any covenant child of God to be consumed by any challenge whether a storm, serpent, or suffering. This is because you are not alone. God is with you (Isaiah 43:1-2).

You will make it in Jesus name. The storm is over. It is a new season of breakthrough on every side in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: Oh God arise and let my story change in Jesus name.
Call to Salvation: Lord Jesus, I believe in the forgiveness of sin and in the redemption from the power of darkness through your blood. I confess you as my Savior and Lord.  I invite you into my life to save my soul. Holy Spirit, come into my heart and make me what you want me to be. Thank you Lord for saving me in Jesus name.
