Walking in God’s power 3

“Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.” Acts 4:13

If you desire to walk in God’s power, you must spend time with Jesus. Jesus is the wisdom and the power of God (1 Cor. 1:24). He is also the baptizer in the Holy Spirit through Whom the believers today are endued with power and are blessed with supernatural gifts (Mathew 3:11).

“Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.” Acts 8:5-6
“And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.” Acts 19:11-12

What did Jesus do to the disciple that made them to walk in power? He instructed them and imparted them. You must allow Him to instruct you and to impart you if you want to walk in power.  Paul and Philips did not meet Jesus physically, yet they walked in power. You must spend time with the word (instruction) and you must ask Him to endue you with power from on high (impartation).

May you not be too busy to spend time with Jesus in the word and in prayer in the name of Jesus Christ.

Prayer for today: Lord Jesus, grant me access into the mystery of your word and endue me with power from on high.
