“Wherefore God also hath
highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the
name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth,
and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus
Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philipians 2:9-11
The fourth power in Christianity is
the power in the name of Jesus. The name of Jesus has been given to all
Christians to change things and to enforce the will of God on earth. All realms
are covered by the name: heavens, earth and underneath the earth. No power in
any realm can withstand the name of Jesus.
“And these signs shall follow them
that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new
tongues;” Mark 16:17
“And his name through faith in his name hath
made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath
given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.” Acts 3:16
The activity of the devil in any
area can be terminated by the use of the name of Jesus. Everything on earth has
capacity to obey and respond to the name of Jesus. Any believer who believes
and understands the power that is in this name is a threat to the kingdom of
darkness. Acts 16:18 says, “And this did she many days. But Paul, being
grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus
Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.” Use the name of
Jesus to terminate the work of evil around you.
I decree in the name of Jesus that
you shall be on fire for God. You shall do wonders with the name of Jesus
Prayer for today: I declare that the
name of Jesus shall not be in vain in my life in Jesus name.
